Hi Every one Ive upgraded my pc yesterday to get better performance out of cs4 that Ive been using for about a month now, e8500 cpu Asus P5Q Pro m/b 4Gb ramm and Gigabyte ati radeon 4650 1 Gb Graphics card, keep getting error message cs4 had to close, I suspect its a conflict with new graphics card any help wold be great.....Ive down loaded cs4 update and card has latest driver cheers

From Windows Explorer, drag one of your picture folders to the Bridge shortcut.
Bridge should open and show the pictures in your folder.
If it does not, get back to me and we will look at other ideas.

I ran the DBMS_SQLTUNE on it for 10g and did not get any advice. How can I tune the above queries? Thanks!

Tune the SQL? Looking at the join criteria of SUBSTR("WORK_ORDER_FACT_ALL_YESTERDAY"."ACCOUNT_FIRST_NAME", 1, 1) = SUBSTR ("ACCOUNT_DIM"."ACCOUNT_FIRST_NAME", 1, 1) and other substrings, it seems to me that you have basic flaws in your relation design.
Column must be atomic values. Having to extract a sub-set value from a column to create the intelligence needed to join to another table - that is just plain wrong in relation design. Never mind the performance impact and overheads it causes in the database.

Run script "void(0)" I need help to stop this happening !

When I am doing online banking with NatWest (UK) exactly that message appears in my progress bar (bottom left of browser window) when I click on the name of any of my three accounts.
Normally, clicking should expand a submenu listing all recent transactions but for about a week now, it has stopped working. Instead, that's the message I get:

The people at the bank say there's no problem and that it works for them.
So what's the cause of this issue and how can I fix it?
BTW Javascript is on and I have not recently altered any settings in Safari. I regularly flush out all browser caches.

I can't seem to access that info, Andy. There is no "Inspect Element" option. There is a "view frame source" option which opens a window containing tons and tons of code. I can't copy/paste the exact code here because it scripts itself here and doesn't display the way I see it (if that makes sense).
Note: I encounter the exact same issue in Safari, Firefox, and Opera. I am using the latest versions of all 3 browsers.
The techie guy from NatWest just called me and we were on the phone for about half an hour. He paid for the call.
We went through various routines with different browsers including a stripped-down version of Firefox with all add-ons disabled. The same problem kept coming up and I emailed him a screen shot of what I'm getting.
He's completely stumped and has escalated the problem by sending it up to Level 2. They will try to reproduce the issue using a setup identical to mine (10.6.6., Safari 5.0.3).
Level 2 may then call me again on Monday or Tuesday. Watch this space....

CRASHING PROBLEM! Seriously need help, CS4 driving me crazy!!

Adobe Photoshop CS4 has stopped working
A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.
Sounds like a common problem enough eh? Yeah? Well no, and this started happening when I began to practice Vector art with masks and the good ol' pen tool three days ago. It happens RANDOMLY, may happen 5 minutes in, may happen 15 minutes in-- whatever the case it happens at least 10 times a day and it is incredibly frustrating. A lot can happen in a minute when you haven't saved. By the way my document is only 1680x1050 resolution, 75dpi, and is only 7mb big.
I have had Adobe Photoshop CS4 since November, it was okay--my photoshop 7 would not install on vista so oh well! Photoshop CS4 is pretty nice, after disabling vertical sync to prevent brush lag.. anyways fellas, to the point.
My Computer specs:
Intel Core2 Quad q6600 @ 2.4ghz/core, 4mb cache
4.0gb (Actually 3.3gb being read, damn 32bit)Ram 1100hz, I forget latency?

SO! My computer is not the best but it is certainly rather powerful! So what's going on? I have Norton protecting me, no viruses or spyware, and I have not installed anything recently that would affect it besides Left 4 Dead but that was 3 weeks ago (awesome game btw, superMEIKO is my steam ID if you want)
Here's what I tried:
-Set page file to minimum 4gb to maximum 14gb.
-Uninstalled (completely, no registry files leftover or w/e) all drivers and photoshop and everything-- then reinstalled with everything up to date
-Updated drivers for wacom tablet
-Tried the user administration thing, where you change user accounts, didn't work
-Disabling everything non-microsoft in my startup and services, nothing
-Overclocking my graphics card--just in case, nothing
SO! My experts, please help a fellow photoshopper out! I am suffering here!

The most common cause of semi-random crashes we've seen is bad fonts (especially in 64 bit, where one of our attempts to work around bad fonts has a bug on 64 bit only).
What OS are you running? And are you using the 32 or 64 bit app?
We have also seen some drivers cause repeatable crashes, and the driver will be named in the crash report as the current module when the crash occurs.

Need help Crystal Reports running in BO 4.1 while using Universe as database connection.

Sorry, I may not know how to describe this in the correct technical manner, but I'll explain in as simple terms as I can.
I open up Crystal Reports 2013 click new document
and it begins to ask for Database Expert.
I select Universes and log in to my Business Objects Enterprise Explorer.   I then select the Universe that I want to write my report with,
then i save the rpt on my local machine.
then I log into my Business Objects 4.1 CMC or BI and upload this rpt file so that I can begin to schedule the report for example...
but the problem i have is whenever I try to run the report,
it asks for a prompt for my database connection...
it displays the Universe name, but User Name Password, I am not sure what to write,
do I write My login for Business Objects? do I write the user name password of the database that Universe uses?
in CMC I see a database configuration, I tried many combinations and still have been receiving the following error message
The viewer could not process an event. The database logon information for this report is either incomplete or incorrect. []
---- Error code:0 [CRWEB00000119]
From all I read the point of using the Universe in Crystal reports is to be automatic in such a way that it doesnt need the database conneciton, because its technically using the Universe as the database connection....
so what am I doing wrong here?    maybe its my database configuration,    I keep reading that it doesnt need anything...   that you upload the Crystal Reports and it would just work...
any help with this issue would be greatly appreciated..

What is the reporting DB used?
The trick with your configuration is the following:
- Universe Designer: 32bits application that may work fine on your desktop
- Crystal 2013: 32bits application as well
- When you export to the repository, Web Intelligence (64bits) has to process the Universe to extract the query.
Your server should have the drivers required for Crystal + Universe: 32bit and 64bit versions.

Need Help - CS4 install

This may or may not be in the right place, but here goes. Last year I purchased both Dreamweaver CS4 and Photoshop CS4 from a third party vendor. Was informed that Dreamweaver was out of stock. I downloaded the trial and they gave me the activiation code with promise of the DVD when it came in. Wrong. I am not able to reach the company now after several weeks of trying. I'm about to receive a new computer and need to install. I have the serial # but support told me to check to see if anyone had either a link to download the trial version or a DVD copy. Please let me know. I'll supply an email address if you have a link.

Well I'm not quite sure how Adobe figures us end users can help you with installation/licensing issues...
But if I'm reading you right, all you need is the installer for Dreamweaver CS4 since you have the license number. That's a bit of a conundrum because you no longer can get the CS4 installers. That is unless you created a copy of the downloaded installer from your previous machine.

Need help if you run Windows 7 and McAfee

As I posted to other thread, I was not able to do auto-updating of CS5 since CS5 was installed. The problem seems to be related to firewall settings.
I am running windows 7 and McAfee Security Center. I turned off Firwall from McAfee. But I am getting the same error.
As shown in the top figure, it show Firewall was turned off by McAfee (see red arrows).
When I opened windows firewall, it described that these settings are managed by McAfee (see below).
What I see is that Under domain Profile, windows firewall is off (red arrow). But Firewall in both private and public profiles are on (see blue arrows in the above figure).
What I want is to turn off McAfee firewall in order to perform CS5 autoupdating.
Could someone help me with my problem?

What exactly is a firewall:
at its basic level, a firewall is a barrior that is designed to keep threats out.
Some firewalls do a better job then others but ultimately its the "people" behind the firewall that is responsable for security.
Many firewalls have both incoming and outgoing rules to help keep PC's safe.
McAfee intigrates into the operating system, thats why it changes the windows firewall rules and why you see the windows firewall is no longer manageable by normal means. it may even hook in a use portions of the windows firewall and expends windows built in security from that point.
Before you attempt to uninstall it, I highly recommend you put everything back to its normal running state, then after uninstalling from add remove programs also use their removal tool to insure all registry enteries are also removed. This "should" put everything back to factory default settings for windows firewall rules.

I am of the opinion that McAfee, in its quest to secure its "customers", customers PC's with the least amont of end user interaction, it became blind to the fact that sometimes you need to reset everything back to factory default and simply start over, It may even be there but its not easly found or wasn't last i used it. Even their virus scanner is difficult to disarm once activated. They hook into many aspects of the operating system in an effort to keep you safe weather you like it or not.
An old saying comes to mind, Freedom comes with a Price.
I'll not say McAfee software is bad, I think they lost touch with the end user is all, They are more interested in the dollar then the end user. The ISP's line their pockets and are their real customers, you didn't really think the software was free did you? What the big ISP's want in there for security is what they tend to put in there. Almost all ISP's in the states provide free McAfee or Nortons security with their service plans and every new PC has either one in there "free"
I would personally try to uninstall McAfee completly, if that fixes the issue you can always put it back if you choose or some other security suite.

Once you have saved the file, you can run it in SQL*Plus by referring to the full path name of the file:

(e) Don't use strings to refer to numbers, or vice cersa. For example, if the columns item_num and quantity in the table orders_dtails are NUMBERs, then give them NUMBER values (without quotes) like 14 and 40, not string values like '14' and '40'.

Need help fixing stop times of Live365 stations

I have some Live365 stations in my music library. When I upgraded to iTunes 11, the stations no longer say Continuous. They now have stop times and are grayed out. How do I fix that.

Okay, so the problem you're having is likely due to your Airport Extreme ignoring stuff (as a security measure) that Xbox Live is sending the Xbox. While there are a few ways to deal with this, I've generally found the easiest is to ensure your Xbox is given the same IP address by the AE every time it connects, and to set the AE to then not block anything sent to that IP address.
First we need to get the Xbox's wireless MAC address, which you can find on your Xbox by going to Settings, System Settings, Network Settings, selecting your wireless network from the ones that appear, Configure Network, Additional Settings (push the left thumbstick to the right), and finally Advanced Settings, then the MAC address should be displayed.
Just to be clear, a MAC address has nothing to do with Apple's computers. It actually stands for Media Access Control and is a quasi-unique code that nearly every network adapter has. We're using it here so your Airport Extreme can easily recognise the Xbox.
Now you've got the MAC address for the Xbox, open AirPort Utility, select your Airport Extreme and click Edit, then the Network tab. Click the plus button under the DHCP Reservations box, type Xbox 360 (or whatever you want) as the description, type the Xbox's MAC address into the MAC Address box, then click the IPv4 box, change the last number after the . from 2 to 35, and click Save.
Now we have the Xbox getting the same IP from the AE every time, we need to tell to stop filtering stuff that's sent to that IP.
On the same Network tab in Airport Utility as before, click the Network Options button, tick "Enable default host at:" and enter 35 as the last two digits (so it matches up with the full IP address in the IPv4 box earlier). Finally, click Update, and when your Airport Extreme has finished restarting, try the connection test on the Xbox again and (hopefully) bask in the glow of a nice open NAT setting.

Need help, can't run a GTX 760 on IPISB-CU (carmel2) :(

I just got a GTX 970 to replace my GTX 760, so I gave the GTX 760 to my brother, who is using HP Pavilion p7-1287c. However, I tried my best but can't get his system going. It froze at the logo screen right after the system turn on, then some "beep" sound can be heard after a while. His motherboard is IPISB-CU (camel2). The PSU isn't the problem; it's a new PSU EVGA Bronze 600W. I tried to look for Bios update, but found only a update from 2012. I already installed it, but no help.
So, Is it impossible to run a EVGA GTX 760 SC ACX 2.0 2GB on a IPISB-CU (camel2)? If you know any way to run it, please tell me. Thanks a lot.

Need help in using [RUN PROGRAM] Activity against a server in another domain

We have two domains with two way trust enabled. Orch server exists in DomainA and target server exists in DomainB.
We are trying to execute some scripts(g:IPCONFIG) from orch server to target server using RUN PROGRAM activity. This is running fine and give expected results, if I give Built-in Administrator credentials in Security Tab. But I'm getting some
strange values like chinese/japanese language strings, If I use a DomainB/DomainA user (Part of local admin of the target server) in security tab as well as Advanced tab-->Runas.
Things I tried:
- DomainA/DomainB user in Security Tab as well as RunAs tab  ---> Strange Strings
- DomainA/DomainB user in Security Tab and BuiltIn Administrator in RunAs tab  ---> Strange Strings
- BuiltIn Administrator in Security Tab ---> Expected result
- BuiltIn Administrator in Security Tab and DomainA/DomainB user in RunAs tab  --> ProgramExitCode = -10xxxxxx

Hi, I'm trying to run a report (in the parameters form) - i'm getting this error:
APP-FND-00738: error loading value set SETUP_DESCR_VSETS.
APP-FND-01564: error ORACLE 1403 in FDFAVS.
Reason: Fail in program FDFAVS with reason ORA-01403: no data found.
Executed SQL instruction from file &ERRFILE.
Can you advice - which tool I can use to determine which value set didn't load.
Maybe logs or log tables???
