Need Help De-Bricking WRT300N v1.1

First off, yes I am an idiot.  I DO in fact know better than to do this, and I did realize this would happen.  It was 1AM and I got lazy and just messed up.  Now I need some help.
I was installing DD-WRT on my router, and the flash went bad.  Most likely because I didn't do a hard reset before flashing, but also possibly because I got impatient and reset the device after it was stuck at 98% for a good 3 minutes.  My fault....
Now, the router just doesn't work.  Can't ping it, doesn't assign IPs nothing.  Is there anything I can do to bring this back to life?

If You can ping the router then you should be able to TFTP the firmware to the router by ethernet cable. It shold not take very long. If you don't know how to TFTP it, then here is how : type in this in line into the command prompt : tftp -i 192.168.1.1 put   (this is where you put your firmware to the router) and then press enter. The firmware should go where the parenthes are. The firmware should be typed in as it is shown in the command prompt.

    I need help configuring my WRT54GL as a wireless bridge for my xbox.
    I have a Billion BiPAC 7404VGO currently in service as my main router/modem. i.e. I have my ADSL connection and PC connected to this. I also connect to this with a laptop.
    I have an original xbox at the other end of the house (cat5 NOT an option).
    Basically I want to connect my xbox to the rest of network. I have a WRT54GL I can use for this. I just dont know how to set it up.
    The WRT54GL has Firmware Version: v4.30.7 (out of the box).
    My Wireless network is using WPA.
    I have a VPN setup through to work via the Billion.
    The idea is to stream media from my PC to the xbox (media centre).
    Any help would be HUGELY appreciated.

    A wireless router is a device which requires its own wired internet connection. A wireless router is not a wireless access point like the Linksys WAPs. A wireless router does not connect wireless to other wireless routers/APs with standard Linksys firmware. With Linksys firmware you need a WAP54G or similar. The WAPs support wireless bridging and repeater mode.
    If you already have a WRT54GL then you have to install a 3rd party firmware which adds wireless bridging capabilities. Read the wikipedia article on "WRT54G" for information about which WRT models support 3rd party firmware and an overview of projects and links.
    Remember, however, that you may brick your router if you install a 3rd party firmware incorrectly and you probably void the warranty if you install 3rd party firmware (it is even possible to find out after you restore the original Linksys firmware if you don't clear the NVRAM before).

    I have the Blackberry Curve but due to lack of know how I am underutilizing it's abilities.. I need help with this!

    SAFETY
    I read someone lost their phone from installing Pocket Mac.
    Word on that? It is my only phone, I don't have insurance on it. I am simply trying to utilize all that it offers and am a bit lost! I can figure stuff out but I worry that I will do that to the detriment of my files and/or device. 
    Recommendations to help this newbie get acclimated to the digital world?

    1. You will want PocketMac 4.1 on that list.
    2. iTunes are not usable on the BB until you remove the Digitial Rights from them; for instance, you can burn the iTunes to a CD and then burn the songs to a CD and then import them to iTunes and they will be DRM free.
    3. It doesn't "sync" but it does reconcile your deleted messages to and from the BB to your Gmail account. However, your sent messages from the BB won't be synced to your Gmail account.
    4.  Gmail Calendar sync does work.
    5. PocketMac works well for many, I have read some who don't like it. You shouldn't really have any problems, especially with it bricking your device.

    My 2006 MacBook Pro and my 2011 MacBook Air both do it.  It happens because the earth ground stops at the power brick and is not carried through to the case of the machine.  It is not dangerous or the machine would not have been UL approved.
    Since I operate on battery 99.9999% of the time it doesn't bother me at all.

    Just back from Genius Bar and two other people at my table had the same problem. Their 4Ss aren't charging either. One of them had a fried board according to the tech. At least my HW checked out OK. It just won't charge.
    The tech tried to tell me that it was because my connector was corroded, which I told him was kind of a weak argument since evidence points to that the update has something to do with it.
    They're seeing a lot of these and it looks like they already have a script.
    Luckily I had enough juice left to recycle it for like $180, so I picked up a 5S with a new 2 year.
    It looked to me like this is going to blow up pretty big. Like class action lawsuit big.
    If you have an iPhone 4 or 4S, and you haven't updated it to iOS 7, don't for now. See if a patch comes out that doesn't brick your phone. Or get an induction charger maybe? Don't just update and expect absolutely no problems because too many people are having problems right now.

    Unfortunately, there is pretty much nothing you can do. Only the owner of the account used to lock it can remove the lock. If you can't contact whoever you purchased it from, or if they can't or won't remove the lock, then it's a brick. There is a very real chance that it's stolen.

    Just had an employee terminated most acrimoniously and had an iPhone 5C that was a brick. Apple support can help remove the lock. Better hold onto your original receipt and record the Serial# !  I do not mean the MEID or IMEI but the Serial# found on the original box or Settings>General>About. In my case no receipt or Serial#.  2 hours on the phone between Apple and Verizon and got what was needed. Submitted form and got reply to allow 2-10 business days.

    I just need help. I have ordered a reviewer online that has audios and texts in a pdf file. I was told to download the latest adobe reader on my computer. I have done the same thing on my ipad mini. I am not so technical with regards to these things. Therefore I need help. I can access the audios on my computer but not on my ipad.
    I want to listen to audios with scripts or texts on them so i can listen to them when i am on the go. I was also informed that these files should work in any device. How come the audios doesnt work on my ipad.
    Please help me on what to do.

    You need to buy a PDF reader that supports them. My suggestion is PDF Expert from Readdle ($US 9.99)

    I used List Directory on advanced IO , to list all .. the Name is the same for all ... then i used Name_ concateneted with Serial(typed)* .. this command serial* ll list all serials equal the typed , in my case , ll exist only one , cuz its a count this serial .Then i pass the path to the delete , and its done !

    Your Touch is working correctly. Currently, without unsupported third party hacks, the Touch has NO disc mode. It will only show up in iTunes.

    Right now, you don't. The SDK is scheduled to be released in Feburary. Then developers will be able to write programs that will be loadable.

    SO.. i havent updated my itunes in a while because i keep getting this weird message.. it comes up when im almost done installing the newest/newer versions of itunes. it says
    "the feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable" "click ok to try again or enter an alternate path to a folder containing the installation package 'iTunes.msi' in the box below"
    now when ever i choose a file from the browse box it replies with this message "the file 'xxx' is not a valid installation package for the product iTunes. try to find the installation package iTunes.msi in a folder from which you can install iTunes."

    With that one, let's try the following procedure.
    First, head into your Add/Remove programs and uninstall your QuickTime. If it goes, good. If it doesn't, we'll just attend to it when we attend to iTunes.
    Next, download and install the Windows Installer CleanUp utility:
    Description of the Windows Installer CleanUp Utility
    Now launch Windows Installer CleanUp ("Start > All Programs > Windows Install Clean Up"), find any iTunes and/or QuickTime entries in the list of programs in CleanUp, select those entries, and click “remove”.
    Next, we'll manually remove any leftover iTunes or QuickTime program files:
    (1) Open Local Disk (C:) in Computer or whichever disk programs are installed on.
    (2) Open the Program Files folder.
    (3) Right-click the iTunes folder and select Delete and choose Yes when asked to confirm the deletion.
    (4) Right-click the QuickTime folder and select Delete and choose Yes when asked to confirm the deletion. (Note: This folder may have already been deleted if QuickTime was successfully removed using Add/Remove Programs earlier.)
    (5) Delete the QuickTime and QuicktimeVR files located in the C:\Windows\system32\ folder. Click Continue if Windows needs confirmation or permission to continue. (Note: These files may have already been deleted if QuickTime was successfully removed using Add/Remove Programs earlier.)
    (6) Right-click on the Recycle Bin and on the shortcut menu, click Empty Recycle Bin.
    (7) Restart your computer.
    Now try another iTunes install. Does it go through properly now?

    Hold down the Option key while you boot your Mac. Then, it should show you a selection of devices. Click your flash drive and it will boot from that.

  • Need help adobe bridge cc output module

    I need help. I have an assignment I'm held up on completing because the adobe cc bridge does not have the output modue I need. I followed the adobe instructions page to the letter. I copied and pasted the output module folder to the adobe bridge cc extensions folder in programs/commonfiles/adobe. The only thing is the instructions then say to paste the workspace file into the workspace folder located below the bridge extensions folder. I don't have a workspaces folder there or anywhere. I even tried must making one and adding the file to it, but no go. can someone PLEASE help me with this?    I have an assignment due like now that requires the use of the output modue.thanks!
