Need help determining why my podcast has disappeared from the iTunes store.

For a while, the last ten episodes or so were missing, but now the entire show is gone. The feed url is: www.warrenandbradley.com/feed/podcast
The feed seems to be perfectly valid and work just fine. I can't think of anything I've changed, and have been submitting new episodes very regularly. Is there any way to determine why it's disappeared from iTunes?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If I am forced to submit it again, would this mean that I'd lose all my subscribers?
So far you haven't lost any subscribers because your feed is still there - they read it directly and the Store is not involved. It's just that without the Store you aren't likely to get any new ones.
If you can manage to resubmit it by changing the title but not the feed URL then it won't affect subscribers. However sometimes you need to change both (and it can help to change the contents of the 'link' tag) and of course if you change the URL your subscribers will lose contact with you.
You can get round this by adding the 'itunes:new-feed-url' tag to the existing feed, redirecting to the new feed - this will seamlessly move subscribers to the new feed (provided of course that you have access to the feed to edit it). The details are given here:
http://www.wilmut.webspace.virginmedia.com/notes/podcast.html#move
(It refers to moving the Store to the new feed; of course this isn't relevant here, but it applies equally to subscribers.)

The Youtube app was removed by Apple in iOS6.  You can use either the iPhone app from Youtube (free in the app store, but you've got to set it at 2x), or go to www.youtube.com in a Safari web browser.  You can also add the web page to your Home Screen using the share feature.  It will then operate just like an app.

I noticed that some of my podcast are missing from the iTunes store. What is the cause of that?

That suggests that the tracks are damaged.
If your country's iTunes Store allows you to redownload purchased tracks, I'd delete your current copies of the dodgy tracks and try redownloading fresh copies. For instructions, see the following document:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
Otherwise, I'd report the problem to the iTunes Store.
Log in to the Store. Click on "Account" in your Quick Links. When you're in your Account information screen, go down to Purchase History and click "See all".
Find the items that are not playing properly. If you can't see "Report a Problem" next to the items, click the "Report a problem" button. Now click the "Report a Problem" links next to the items.

  • My podcast is gone from the iTunes store.... HELP!

I have a podcast that has been hosted on the iTunes store since February of 2012, with 27 episodes. For the past two months, iTunes has not been pinging my podcast, because I noticed that the description, and images were no longer updating with the changes I made.  However, new episodes were posting to the podcast just fine, and were completely downloadable.
If I try and manually subscribe to the feed via the Advanced menu, and entering the feed URL, it's finds the podcast just fine.
    Feed: http://podcast.djsupersede.com/LRR/podcast.xml
When I try to resubmit the podcast, iTunes tells me that it's already been submitted.
What can i do to fix this problem? I'm lost...

The most likely reason for removal is that you feed was inaccessible for a period - was this the case? There's no other obvious reason such as unacceptable contents or copyright violation as far as I can see.
In order to re-submit it you will need to change the title slightly in order to avoid the error message you've seen.

  • Neverwinter Nights 2 has disappeared from the App Store

I purchased Neverwinter Nights 2 from the app store when it was on sale and I installed it on my iMac but now I cannot access it through the app store. When I click on it on my iMac I get a message that my request could not be completed. I have been trying to put it on my Macbook but I can't find it. Does anyone know what has happened to it?

    Hi ..
Apparently it's not available from the App Store any longer.
Try your Applications folder just in case.
It's not available for iOS based apps at the iTunes Store either.
And try contacting the app developer  >  http://www.aspyr.com/games/neverwinter-nights-2

  • Half my Episodes have disappeared from the iTunes store

    hi all,
in the last couple of weeks, I noticed that iTunes store has changed their structure for Arts: Literature podcasts. You now have to scroll down on the page to get the category..
    the old way was..
    Podcasts
    Arts
    Literature
    the new way is...
    Podcasts
    Arts
Then, scroll down to More Arts and select Literature
This by itself, just makes it harder to find our podcasts, but my main question and problem, is that now even though we have 46 episodes, the store only lists 25 episodes.
All of our episodes were listed before this structure change.
My feed is through feedburner, and I have the maximum shown episodes set at 100, so that should be ok. Any suggestions how I might get my episodes listed again..The feed validator for both feeds say that everything is ok...
    Here are my two feeds...
    http://feeds.feedburner.com/aiyp-enhanced
    http://feeds.feedburner.com/authorsinyourpocketshow
Thank you in advance for your help and suggestions...

Yeah, not too much that you can do about the category shuffle business
Anyway, I took a look at your feeds. iTMS is not the one with the issue, it is not cutting off any of your listed podcasts - both of the feeds that you gave me links to only have 25 episodes listed. I checked in Firefox, IE, and the raw code. Nothing beyond the 25.
Did you generate the feed yourself or did you have Feed Burner do it? Because you need to take a look at your file - someone or something has removed the listings that you want to keep in there. See if you can figure out whether it is you or Feed Burner. If you find the missing listings, once you have them back in your feed they should reappear in the Store.

  • Help! My Podcast was removed from the iTunes store!

I hadn't updated in some while, and have had to switch hosts.
When I attempt to pull it up in iTunes: https://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewPodcast?id=348596984
it says it's no longer available in the U.S. store.
I still have the same feed: http://feeds.feedburner.com/meetingwithmasters
I just relaunched and loaded the first episode, and going to add the rest to the new host- I can't resubmit it to iTunes, as it says the feeds already been used.
    What can I do?
Really appreciate your help and feedback!
    Jon

  • *HELP* Some audio tracks I just downloaded from the iTunes store don't play all the way through, they stop in the middle!!

*HELP* It's like they didn't download right, why are the tracks not playing?? I might have been transferring my music library to an external hardrive at the same time, would that affect the files downloading properly? (but I'm pretty sure I did that after the tracks were done downloading). Can anyone help???

  • Why can I not download from the iTunes Store??

I bought an album from the iTunes Store via my iPhone 5 and despite the fact that I have a strong 4G signal, it is telling me that one track is going to take over 42 minutes to download! I checked the speed on Speed Test and it showed 32mbps download and 10mbps upload. EE told me that as nothing else is affected (I can connect to other apps such as You Tube and Safari fine) then it must be a fault with my iPhone or iTunes. They also mentioned that there was a known issue with update 6.1.3 where the handset showed an LTE signal when there was actually none. Anyone aware of this?

Try logging out of your account on the iPad by tapping on your id in Settings > Store and then log back in and see if it then works.

  • Hi, just updated hubby's iPhone 4 and all of his music has disappeared from the iPhone and from the iTunes library! He does have music still stored on his iPod, but can't get it from the library on his iPod back to phone or itunes. technophobe help pls!

and all of his music has disappeared from the iPhone and from the iTunes library! Luckily he does have music still stored on his iPod, but I can't get it from the library on his iPod back to the phone or to itunes. Please help, but technophobe so put it in simple english please!

Sounds like the music you had on your phone was not the same music on his computer. The iPhone/iPod touch is not designed to be a storage device. When you sync with a computer that doesn't have your music, it deletes your music from your phone.
Was this music you purchased from iTunes? if so, and you are in the US, tap on itunes app, tap updates, tap purchased and tap on the cloud icon to get each song back. If you're not int he us, get iOS5 update later this week and do the same.
But you need to move your itunes library to his computer. Create a user account on his macbook pro for you. From your external drive backup, load your itunes library on it. Then sync as usual! (Don't tell me you don't have a backup for your computer!)

  • Can I upload music from iPod to iTunes? My music has disappeared from my iTunes account, but still have it on iPod.

Music on my iTunes account has disappeared, but still have it on my older iPod; want to upload it to iTunes, but when I hook up to computer, iTunes wants to overwrite the iPod.  I fear I'll lose it all.  Any help?

    Hey blite923,
Thanks for the question. If these are purchased songs, you can transfer purchases from your iPod to your computer without syncing:
Re-download or transfer your iTunes Store purchases from an iPhone, iPad or iPod to a computer - Apple Support
    http://support.apple.com/en-us/HT1848
Transfer your purchases to your computer
Before you transfer your purchases, make sure that your computer is authorized with the same Apple ID account you used to make the purchases. Learn how to authorize your computer using iTunes.
If you bought the iTunes Store content on your device using multiple Apple ID accounts, you'll need to authorize the computer for each one.
To transfer purchases from your device to a computer:
Connect your device to the computer. Wait for its icon to appear in iTunes.
Go to File > Devices. If you're using iTunes for Windows and can't see the menu bar, learn how to turn on iTunes menus in Windows.
Choose Transfer Purchases from [device name].
This feature works only for content bought from the iTunes Store. Any items that you imported from audio CDs or received from other sources won't copy from your device to the iTunes library. However, all podcasts from your device's Podcasts app and copies of all PDFs and books from your device's iBooks app will transfer to the computer. Learn how to transfer media to your iTunes library.
    Thanks,
    Matt M.

  • While importing and burning some CDs, my entire library has disappeared.  Also, there no longer is a "burn file to disc" command in the File menu.  I have downloaded the latest version of itunes which restored only tracks I bought from the iTunes store.

Also, the "burn playlist to disc" command has disappeared from the File options.  I downloaded the latest version of iTunes but that only restored tracks I'd bought from the iTunes store.  I also tried setting up another logon.

    Empty/corrupt library after upgrade/crash
Hopefully it's not been too long since you last upgraded iTunes, in fact if you get an empty/incomplete library immediately after upgrading then with the following steps you shouldn't lose a thing or need to do any further housekeeping.  Note that in iTunes 11 an "empty" library may show your past purchases with links to stream or download them.
In the Previous iTunes Libraries folder should be a number of dated iTunes Library files. Take the most recent of these and copy it into the iTunes folder. Rename iTunes Library.itl as iTunes Library (Corrupt).itl and then rename the restored file as iTunes Library.itl. Start iTunes. Should all be good, bar any recent additions to or deletions from your library.
Alternatively, depending on exactly when and why the library went missing, there may be a more recent .tmp file in the main iTunes folder that can be copied & renamed as iTunes Library.itl to restore the library to an earlier state. Look for a recent .tmp file that is similar in size to the .itl files in the Previous iTunes Libraries folder. If it has happened repeatedly you may want the earliest such file generated since the last iTunes upgrade.
If applicable, see iTunes Folder Watch for a tool to catch up with any changes since the backup file was created.
When you get it all working make a backup!
Should you be in the unfortunate position where you are no longer able to access your original library, or a backup of it, then see Recover your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device.
I've noticed more of these missing library posts of late and a common factor to most since I started asking is AVG Anti-Virus. It seems in some cases it might be at least part of the reason why the library file disappears. Try excluding the iTunes folder from any AV scanning process.
