Need Help Downloading Adobe Application Manager Error A12E5

I tried to download and install multiple times but I receive the same error of A12E5.

Do you receive this error when trying to install the Adobe Application Manager?  Which operating system are you using?  Do you know what version of the Adobe Application Manager that you currently have installed?  Finally have you tried downloading the Adobe Application Manager from the bottom right hand corner of our download page at http://www.adobe.com/downloads/?

    I have bought Creative Cloud. However, I cannot install the software on my laptop. My system is Windows 7 x64 Professional PL.
    First, the downloader of Application Manager responded with "Server does not respond in the proper manner" message. Here is my LBS.log extract:

    I tried again a few days later with no luck. I tried from 2 diffrent locations. Then I downloaded the application manager manually from the link: http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=4773

    I tried to open the link visible in the log with Firefox - I get 403 Forbidden. The server ccmdls.adobe.com resolves to 23.67.131.235 on my computer. 
    I'm out of ideas, I cant find any suggestions with search engines on this stage. I paid for the software and I can't install it - please help.

    I purchased Adobe Acrobat X Pro & have an empty disc cover, i cannot locate the disc and need to reload teh software to my PC after a system refresh. I cannot locate the dowload under My Order History or My Download History. Can anyone assist?

  • Unable to uninstall cs6 beta version due to Adobe Application Manager error

    A few weeks ago I installed the beta version of cs6 but never was able to run that program due to the Adobe Application Manager error I received each time I attempted to launch it.  I never found any solutions on the internet so I just gave up.  Recently I purchased Photoshop cs6 anyway, however, in order to install cs6 you must uninstall the beta version of cs6.  Unfortunately Windows 7 will not uninstall the beta version.  Each time I click on uninstall, nothing happens.  Until I can uninstall the beta version, I will not be able to install my newly purchased Photoshop cs6.  Does anyone have any suggestions or solutions?

  • "Product you are trying to install is not genuine" - Adobe Application Manager error message.

    Trying to launch the AAM and getting the error message that says "Adobe Genuine Software Validation Failure. The product you are trying to install is not an Adobe Genuine Software and appears to be counterfeit".
    I've been subscribed to the creative cloud for four months, never had any trouble before, I'm not trying to download anything and nothing on this computer is counterfeit.
    Any help?

    This behavior is due to a known issue (details at http://blogs.adobe.com/psirt/2012/09/security-advisory-adobe-to-revoke-code-signing-certif icate-apsa12-01-2.html). Fortunately, the solution is simple.
    You need to download the latest version of Adobe Application Manager from http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=4773. After you install it, the error will go away.

  • Adobe Application Manager Error A12E1

    Whilst waiting for my Cloud Membership, I thought I would try downloading the Application Manager, however I get an error code of A12E1 and get told to come to the forums for help.  I have searched and cant find out what this error code means. 
    I have tried to download for a second time, but still get the same problem.

  • Downloading - Adobe Application Manager PROBLEM

    I had 2.5gb left on my C: drive (SSD)  where Windows 7 64 bit is installed.  I told your Adobe Application Manager to install my new Cloud Programs on E:\Adobe Programs.   I have installed Photoshop, Acrobat and Dreamweaver.  Now, the Adobe Application Manager program keeps telling me I don't have enough space on C: to install. 
    1.  Is it using C: as a Temp area for downloads?   If show you need to change that to the drive I am installing too or many people are going to have the same problem.
    2.  Is this program leaving Temp files undeleted?.  I went from having 2.5 Gb to now only having 398Mb. 
    3.  Where in the Temp File Download Area?  (I need to clean it up to get my wasted disk space back, as I told it to install on E:)

    I'm in the same boat : I'm also running Windows 7 on C: residing on an SSD drive with 2-3GB space left, and also got the same message.
    1.  Is it using C: as a Temp area for downloads?
    Apparently, it is. If I remember correctly, the precise message was saying something about "...unable to extract..." or something along that line. Which means the problem is even worse:
    First the AAM will use our precious space on C: to download the install archive, THEN it will try to extract it (again on C:) - effectively needing about twice the space of the download (at least temporarily), and only after that (I guess) will it install to the location you gave it (E: in your case).
    While I can't prove this, I'm pretty sure this is the way it works (or will work - once you have enough space left on C:)
    My current workaround: I use the "regular" download pages for the various CS6 apps (i.e. from the product pages on adobe.com), which in turn will use Adobe Download Assistant (NOT to be confused with AAM) to actually download the installer archives. As opposed to its "younger brother" for the Creative Cloud, this older/simpler assistant actually let's you choose where to download. After the download I can install the products just as usual (as if Creative Cloud didn't even exist), but first choosing "trial mode".
    However, they don't really go into the 30 day trial because I register them with my Adobe ID (which "knows" that I got a Creative Cloud membership) and everything's fine.
    After re-opening AAM, it even showed me the CS6 apps downloaded via this "workaround" as "installed", so I guess the end result isn't any different than what I would have gotten if actually using the AAM.
    (Note: If any Adobe employee reads this I'd be glad about a confirmation that this is indeed the case, though)
    2.  Is this program leaving Temp files undeleted?.  I went from having 2.5 Gb to now only having 398Mb.
    Mmmh, might be the case - although I didn't observe this. Did you still have AAM open while checking your disk space? If so, try checking again after closing it. Most programs only clean up after themselves when closing them.
    3.  Where in the Temp File Download Area?  (I need to clean it up to get my wasted disk space back, as I told it to install on E:)
    I can't exactly tell you where, but I'd suspect some directory under
    c:\users\<Your Username>\Appdata\Local\Adobe
    and/or maybe under
    c:\users\<Your Username>\Appdata\Local\Temp
    Good luck in finding it / cleaning up your C: drive. (And if not, I hope my little trick mentioned above may also help you.)

    I also tried downloading AI and it says my Adobe Application Manager software is corrupt.
    How do I download new AAM?

  • Problems downloading Adobe Application Manager updates

    The Adobe Application Manager Installer uploaded, then when I tried to activate it, I received the error message Download Error Press retry to try again or contact customer support (503). I pressed retry several times with no success, so I'm contacting customer support as directed.

    I'm not sure which Adobe sub-forum that should come under, but pretty sure it doesn't belong here.

  • Need to Prevent Adobe Application Manager for upgrading to Creative Cloud

    I have successfully packaged Dreamweaver CS5&CS5.5 via Adobe Application Manager Enterprise Edition v2.1 and after a successfully deployed via SCCM Dreamweaver runs perfect. Unfortunatly upon the first launch of the icon on the desktop of "Adobe Application Manager" it's self upgrading to Creative Cloud.  This is a problem.  In this enterprise deployment I have updates set to manual and my AdobeUpdaterAdminPrefs.dat is set to the below which should be preventing this to my understanding <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <Preferences> <Suppressed>1</Suppressed> </Preferences>

    Thank you for getting back to me, currently my work around
    is to have the deployment delete the two “Adobe Application Manager.lnk”
    icons from both the desktop and the start menu for each OS version.  Not
    exactly how I would like to have to do it however my
    “AdobeUpdaterAdminPrefs.dat” does not seem to block Adobe Application
    Manager from updating.

  • I get an Adobe Application Manager error when I try to install NeoVoices.

    When I try to install NeoVoices, I get an error that my Adobe Application Manger is possibly damaged, updates are not possible, and that I should download and install a new version of if (Adobe Application Manger.)  I'm stuck.  I have downloaded and installed the latest versoin of Adoble Application Manger, but it still doesn't work, and the Manager works fine otherwise. otherwise. 

    Is it a 32 bit or 64 bit version?
