Need help downloading Creative Suite 5.5 Design Premium
I bought the software a few years back. I have the disk, the serial code, and the product code. This year for Christmas, I replace my old laptop with one of the new macbooks. It does not have a disk drive. The only way for me to install the software is to download a free trial of Creative Suite 5.5 Design Premium and then punch in the serial code, but I am not able to download a trial anywhere.

I have downloaded Creative Suite 5.5 Design Premium Trial but at the end of the download it brings up this error message: "Error extracting the product installer (error 101). Check for available disk space on your system and try downloading the product again." I am using a Dell laptop. I definitely have ample disk space. Did you customize the location for the trial to download? We often times see this happen when users select their Program Files folder to download the install files too. I would recommend trying to download to your user folder or desktop.

I've contacted the support team but they were not very helpful, only redirecting me to the forums.
Has anyone else experienced this and knows how to fix it?Make sure you have cookies enabled and clear your cache. If it continues to fail try using a different browser... that usually resolves it.

I bought a new Macbook Pro 13 inch in December 2011 and I bought the Adobe Creative Suite 5.5 Design Premium shortly after and installed it on the computer. The other day my friend spilled his drink on my computer and it is now going to cost me $800 to get it fixed so I am considering getting a new one instead of getting mine fixed I'm not sure if the memory is still ok or not either. It didn't get that wet and Apple told me it is more than likely ok but there is no guarantee that they are going to keep the memory when they fix it. So I was wondering if I get a new one if I can install the Suite on the new one I still have the product key and serial number for the Suite. Or if I decide to get mine fixed and the memory is swept, then can I reinstall it on mine after it is fixed? If anyone can help me it would be greatly appreciated!!! Thank You

Step 3: Insert CS5 disc and copy its contents to the desktop.
Step 4: Go To “Desktop\<<CS5 Folder Name>>\payloads\” and then Go To each folder that starts from “Microsoft_VC80” and install them one by one.
Step 5: Right click on the setup.exe and "Run as Administrator"

Creative Suite 5.5 Design Premium installation
Hi, I have just start my new iMac computer. Downloaded CS5.5 Design Premium fine.
When it was close to finishing the installation there was an issue with closing Safari which I did and also something else which looked Safari related but nothing else was open.
So I had to cancel the installation. This has left me without Acrobat X Pro.
Trying to install Acrobat provides the following error.
Your installation encountered errors.
Please try restarting your system and installing again.

I opened my Utilities > Activity Monitor
Found the SafariNotificationAgent and tried to quit this first, didn't shut it down... so I then force quit it.
I then tried to install but this still came up with the error.
But I then tried uninstalling Flash and then reinstalling Flash and Acrobat and this worked a treat... it then installed fine.
Please note: when I uninstalled Flash I went into:
Applications > Utilities > Adobe Installers > Adobe Creative Suite 5.5 Design Premium
It was here I uninstalled just Flash so it took all the parts out.
