It's possible that Outlook doesn't understand multiple contact vCards.
If that's the case, use vCard Splitter:

  • How to export from Address Book to Microsoft Outlook

I am using a mail merge program that requires cvs or test files of address cards in order to operated. I can't figure out how to export from Address Book in any other format than Vcard. Does anybody know how to either export in text or covert Vcard files to text or CVS?

    Try Address Book Exporter.

From Contacts, anyway (the new version of Address Book) you can export to a .abbu file and import then into Outlook. I'm not sure about Mail as I only really use Outlook...

    Hi dickfromnewport,
I don't know how Microsoft Outlook works, but you could export your iCloud contacts by following this instruction: https://support.apple.com/kb/ph3606?locale=en_US

  • Need help with Mail address book and calendar.

    Hello,
I am a new Mac User. I just purchased my first MacBook. My goal is to switch totally over to Mac for both home and work. I was able to get the mail program to pull down my exchange mail, however it does not appear to have taken in my address book.
My goal would be for my machine to totally sync up with my mail, and calendar the same way that my iPhone does. Is there a way to do this?
If I can't get my contacts and calendar to "sync". I will not be able to use my Mac at work.
Any help or assistance would be greatly appreciated.
    Regards,
    Jason

I do not believe you can sync your data between Outlook and Address Book and iCal. You can transfer data using a third-party utility, Outlook2Mac. However, you could integrate with your Outlook account using Entourage, one of the Office 2008 applications. You would have to purchase Microsoft Office 2008.

  • Importing Address Book from Microsoft Outlook Express 5 for Mac (v5.02)

I just made the leap to a Mac Pro 8 Core from a 350MHz G3. I was running 10.3.9 on the G3, but I was still using the old Outlook mail program because I was comfortable with it. Now I can't figure out how to import the address book into Mail 3.3. I know I waited too long to buy a new computer, But I was able to do what I wanted to do with my old machine. (In fact, the G3 was six years old when I went from OS 9.2.2 to 10.3.9. It worked better with 10.3.9 than it did with all the other OS's I ran on it. Try THAT with a PC!!!) So if I'm hosed, I'm hosed, I can live with that, but I wanted to pick the collective brains of my fellow Mac community people before I threw in the towel.

    Sorry - its late
But you still should be able to export a CVS (Excel comma delimited file) - almost any address book can

  • Address Book to Microsoft Outlook

    Good evening all,
I have recently purchased Parallels Desktop to run windows on my MacBook Pro (Intel) and want to export all my contacts from Address Book to Outlook on Parallels. I have tried exporting my groups to vcards and transferring them over, however every time Outlook imports (or lack thereof) the card, only one contact from the group imports in. How do I get Outlook to recognize that there is more than just one contact included in the vcard stack?
    Many thanks.

  • How to import address book from Microsofot Outlook 2003 to Entourage?

    Hi there,
After a lot of internal battles, I've switched to Mac from Windows. I am a new converted. I have been resolving a lot of "compatibility issues" by myself, but a couple of things are still in the arcanes:
    1) I have a CSV file with all my addresses but I can not convert into a Mac file. What do I need to do? Could someone please explain step by step the process?
    2) May I use my Mac Pro as a server also? Or, do you think I need to buy a "real server"?
    Thanks
    Rodo

Question #1 No personal experience with this software, but other users seemed to have found it to do the trick:

Edit: (Sorry, I did not read your question completely, not sure if this software helps with Entourage)

  • Need help exporting address book and emails

Hi everyone; I have a problem that should be easy to answer, yet I've been in contact with several IT people and 90 minutes later still have no answer. As the forum heading suggests, I am using Novell's Groupwise Webaccess. I was given an email address through my University employer, and this is the email system that they use. I have ended my contract with the university and have been given 60 days more usage of Groupwise, but I would like to keep at least some of the information in my emails.
    Questions:
    1) can I export my address book to... anything, really, just so I can keep my contacts?
    2) is there any way I can download my emails?
This extra info may or may not be helpful:
I only have access to the web version of Groupwise
    I am using a mac
I have other email accounts, including gmail, hotmail, and outlook. I don't mind exporting this info into any of them.
    Thank you for your help!

With only webaccess, it is difficult. However, you can use cut and paste or forward the email to another account. You just have to be creative...and willing to put a little elbow grease into it.

  • Microsoft outlook email address book

How do I synchronize my microsoft email address book to my Blackberry?  I really don't want to manually type in all of those addresses. Thanks!

Using Desktop Manager, use the Sync application to setup your sync of your BB contacts Address Book to the desired application on your PC. I believe the one you refer to is compatible.

  • How do I get an export tool for my email address book?

In past years there was an export tool in my email address book.
I recently went to export and the tool was no longer on the tool bar, nor was the import tool.
I would like to have this tool.

When I open my inbox, across the header are the words Mozilla Thunderbird.

  • How do i export my address book to an online email service

i'm trying to export my address book to my optimum online web mail account. but i can't seem to find the actual email files if that makes any sense.

    Greetings,
If you wish to export your address book the easiest way is to select all the addresses you wish to share, and then select Export VCard from the menu. That will create a file wherever you tell it to. That is, if your online system can import VCards.
