I would like to explain my actual problem clearly now.
I am working on an enterprise product where it has a setup screen in which it has a form with DSN and Database Type as the input fields. The database type could be either Oracle or MS SQLServer or MS Access.
so, instead of entering both (DSN and Database Type) into the form, I would like to enter only DSN in the form, and based on this DSN, I should know what is the corresponding Database Type.
Pls let me know how to do this without manually referring in the system.

Need help reinstalling driver for my dvd drive

my a205-s5812 cddvd driver isnt working, when i went to device manager to check for the problem, there is a message stating that the driver might be corrupted or missing. so i cant use my dvd drive anymore, how do i fix this problem

Turns out there is a firmware update to that drive. Maybe it helps.

You can reinstall the driver by uninstalling it in Device Manager (devmgmt.msc) and rebooting.

Need help finding tutorials for segmenting and contouring

I'm completely knew to photoshop and other image editting software so I'm rather lost at the moment. Would someone please direct me to a tutoral or tutorials detailing the proper method to contour or segment an image?

Using the quick selection tool should give better results for selecting the hands
than the magic wand.
Using the hand at the top as an example:
1. Make a selection around the hand using the retangular marquee tool and then right
   click and choose new layer via copy.
2. Select the quick selection tool and click inside the hand as many times as it
    takes to select the hand (some of the things outside the hand might be selected also)
3. Press the alt key and click on the areas outside the hand to deselect them
    You will probably have to zoom in close to see what's really selected and alternate
    between adding to the selection and subtracting from the selection until it looks good.
4. Then select where it says Refine Edge in the tool options bar and adjust the selection
    till it looks good then click ok.
5. Go to the bottom of the layers panel and click the icon that says Add layer mask
   (having a layer mask will let you do any touch ups by painting on the layer mask
    with either a white brush to show more of the hand or a black brush to hide more
    of the hand)
6. Repeat the steps for the other hands in the picture.
Here's what your layers panel and selection of the hands should
look like. ( added the white color fill layer to better see how good the hands were selected)
I guess you'll have explain more about the contouring part.

Just about any Bluetooth keyboard should work. I haven't seen many full-size keyboards that are significantly less expensive than Apple's, and buying Apple's would be less headache should you need support from Apple in getting it to work, so I'd suggest staying with Apple unless you have specific needs in a keyboard.

No screen is completely scratch-proof, but I've had two iPads since they were first released, using them extensively, and have never found any need for a screen protector beyond a normal case.

DV5220US Notebook. I have just installed Vista Ultimate w/sp1 . The specs state I have Sound card/Sound blaster pro as my audio card.

I need serious help! 'computer is unable to find driver for this platform'

i was just manually upgrading my OS X 10.4.7 mac mini to OS X 10.4.9 when halfway through the upgrade installation the computer froze and i had to reset it.
now everytime i turn on the computer it comes up with an error message saying:
panic(cpu 0 caller 0x0039C213): Unable to find driver for this platform: "ACPI"
the only option it gives me is to restart the computer which doesn't help.
can anyone please tell me how i can fix this?

Well. I think you have only two option left:
Archive and Install: will re-install OS X preserving users and files.
Re-install 10.4.9 Combo Update: In order to do this, you either need another Mac running Tiger and capable of starting in FireWire Target Disk Mode and a FireWire cable, or an external bootable HD.
If you have another Mac that supports FireWire Target Disk Mode, you can proceed as follows:
In the working Mac (the Target machine) download the appropriate 10.4.9 Combo Update (PPC or Intel). Leave it on the Desktop. Do not run it.
Follow the steps of this article.
Once your Mini has booted from the Target machine disk, run the 10.4.9 Combo Update, selecting as the destination of the install the Mini's Hard Drive.
If you have a bootable external Hard Drive, (with OS X installed on it) boot from it (hold the Option key at startup), download the Combo Update and install it to the internal HD.
If you don't have a bootable external HD, you can still re-install the Combo Update booting from the Tiger install disk, and using an USB thumb drive (sometimes it may need to be formatted as HFS), following this cumbersome procedure.

I need an audio driver for Yoga 13 with Windows 7 Pro 64 bits English

Hi all,
I downgraded my Yoga 13 from Windows 8 to Windows 7 pro 64 bits, and ever since then I have a problem with my microphone.
Skype finds the microphone and can use it, calls are all working fine, but any other program using audio does not work with the microphone.
After troubleshooting, I concluded that I need to update the driver but I cannot find it. Anything that I find on the Lenovo support pages does not install (event the one found on this page: http://support.lenovo.com/fr/fr/downloads/ds002860).
After looking at this post: http://forums.lenovo.com/t5/Idea-Windows-based-Tablets-and/I-need-an-Internet-driver-for-Yoga-13-wit.... I figured I would to be provided with the link by someone from Lenovo support.
Here's the hardware ID of the soundcard: HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_14F1&DEV_506E&SUBSYS_17AAA001&REV_1000. In Windows it is recognized as High Definition Audio (in the device manager).

From looking at the Yoga 13 Hardware Maintenance Manual and downloading the driver package from the Realtek Wireless LAN & Bluetooth Driver for Microsoft Windows 8 (64-bit) - IdeaPad Yoga 13 page and extracting (but not running) it to look at the contents, it appears the Yoga 13 uses a wireless LAN card based on Realtek RTL8732 chipset.
I would suggest that you try downloading the drivers, expanding, but not installing them on to a USB flash drive or SD card, then plugging that into the Yoga 13, running the Device Manager (filename: DEVMGMT.MSC), clicking on the appropriate entry for the wireless network adapter, selecting update, and then choosing the Browse my computer for driver software option, pointing that to the location of the unpacked drivers. Perhaps Device Manager will find the correct drivers to install that way.
