Need help for new message type for PO archiving

Hello All
I have configured new message type ZARR for PO archiving process. After configuring all the steps this condition is not getting picked to by itself. And after maintaing it manually it is giving red flag without any error message. Here I am listing all the step that I have followed for config. Please help me am I missing something or any parameter is wrong.
Steps for new Message Type for PO Archiving
1.     Defined new Table 513 Purch.Org./Plant.
2.     Defined new access sequence Z513 Access Sequence for Archiving.
Following are parameters to the Access Sequence
Access Sequence Number = 21
Table = 513
Description = Purch.Org./Plant
Requirement = 101
Exclusive = Yes (box checked)

the problem is the Exclusive = Yes indicator in the access sequence.
Your other message has this exclusive indicator as well.
so if the first message is found, then no other message wil be determined
to allow several messages in one PO, you must not set this exlusive indicator

New Message type for Sales orders

Hi,
We have the message type is ORDSRP(ORDERS05) and Function module IDOC_OUTPUT_ORDRSP for the sales orders.
We have lot of custom fields to be added to the IDoc.
Can any one suggst if it is better extending the current message of create a new one.

Hi Rohita,
Instead of changing the standard domain, You have to make the changes in the User Exit.
Say Qualifier 001,002,003 were already there in the domain.
001--Purchase Date
002--Delivery Date
003--Ordered Date
In the user exit u have to just add the segment and the qualifier without making any changes to the Standard Domain.
These Qualifiers are just like other variables and u can add whatever values to them that u want..
You can add Qualifier 004 for Trnasportation Date or Goods issue date and have to communicate the MiddleWare informing that date with this Qualifier will be Transportation Date and they will do the mapping to the corresponding field in other syste.
You can have as many message types as u want for the same IDoc type. There is no harm in having multiple message type. And u dont need to change the standard domain. It can be done without changing the domain.
If u analyse the FM closely u will realise that they have done coding for those values in the domain.
So instead of adding it to domain u just have to do the coding for this new qualifier.

Append Signature only for **new** messages - not for replies???

I have a Palm Centro (great device - my first "smart phone" ) and am using Palm's e-mail application to e-mail through my Yahoo account. The issue I have is this: When I create a **new** message my signature is appended to the e-mail. When I **reply** to a message my signature does NOT get appended. Any way to have the signature always be appended to my outgoing e-mails? It seems that Blackberry and iPhone do this just fine. I want people to know whenever a message is sent from my Centro as it will be short and most likely have errors in the text.

The Sprint Centro comes with two email applications, VersaMail (which is the "Email" icon), and Sprint Mobile Mail (the "Getmail" icon). I don't know which of these applications comes set as the default email application for the Email button on front of the Centro, so you can make sure you are using VersaMail by going into the Application launcher screen and selecting the Email icon.
Assuming you have an email account set up, while in that account open the Menu, select Options > Preferences > Signature. Check the box to attach your signature, create whatever signature you want, and tap OK.

For new document type for pur. requisition

Dear cons
We have created two series of purchase requisition i.e. - ph-1, ph-2 for project. For ph-1 pur Requisition we have created WBS element. Also for ph-2 we have created separate WBS element. When we create a pur. Requisition for ph-1 if we entered WBS element of ph-2 the system is accepting which is creating a problem. Our point is that system will only accept WBS element of the respective phase. That means for ph-1 pur. requisition the system will accept only ph-1 WBS element not ph-2 WBS element. So pl. give some idea so that we can solve the issue. So where can we make the setting so that the issue can be solved.

You can control this though authorization
Find out the authorization object for docuent type and account assignment
And assign allowed wbs for doc type , take basis help on this

Cannot get new messages to download automatically and auto reply with out of office message have to manually check for new messages to get it to do this

I am using Mozilla Thunderbird 31.3.0. I know how to create a message filter to set up an auto reply message, but cannot get Mozilla to automatically download new message and auto reply with the message in the filter unless I manually check for new messages, that is the only way to make it work. I have looked online and can't seem to find an answer to this particular issue. According to anything that I have found, I have the correct boxes checked in server settings: check for new messages at startup, automatically check for new messages, check for new messages every x amount of minutes. It's one thing to have to leave my computer on and Thunderbird open to make this work, but to have to manually check for new messages to get the auto response to work defeats the whole purpose of having an auto reply, as I use them for vacations, holidays, etc. I have wondered if there are any security settings that are causing this issue, but if so, I don't know what changes to make to them. Thanks in advance for any help. This is driving me crazy.

I do find it a bit odd that Thunderbird is not getting mail on schedule, perhaps you have an add-on or anti virus program that prevents that.
Holding shift while you start Thunderbird will start with add-ons disabled to check if mail come automatically.

You say that not having such a setting in Thunderbird is something that needs fixing. This idea comes on the whole because Outlook has such an option. what most people are not aware of it only works with Exchange server. There is no "vacation response" in server mail specifications so every server implements it differently.
Just as all cars have a radiator, you can not take any radiator and just put it in, they are subtly different even though they perform the same purpose. Same goes for the various vacation responders, They perform the same purpose but they differ between email server software brands.
Thunderbird leaves it to the server end to expose the functionality, as they are really the only ones who understand what they did. Outlook exposes the option and mostly greys it out.

New output type for Messages in purchase order

I am using new output type for messages. I want to make it appear as default output type when clicked on messages. I have maintained it through NACR transaction. Do I need to maintain message determination schema ?

1. Condition Table
SPRO > Material Management> Purchasing -> Message -> Output Control->Condition Tables->Define Condition Table for Purchase Order
Select:
Purchasing Doc. Type,
Purch. Organization,
Vendor
Company code
select which ever the criteria you require.
2. Access Sequences
SPRO -> Material Management-> Purchasing -> Message -> Output Control->Access Sequences->Define Condition Table for Purchase Order
3. Message Type
SPRO -> Material Management-> Purchasing -> Message -> Output Control->Message Types->Define Message Type for Purchase Order
4. Message Determination Schemas
4.1. Message Determination Schemas
SPRO -> Material Management-> Purchasing -> Message -> Output Control->Message Schema->Define Message Schema for Purchase Order-> Maintain Message Determination Schema
4.2. Assign Schema to Purchase Order

The printers are also assigned as local printers in the su01
settings of a particular user as output device.
Now you create PO (ME21N) and save it. Go to ME22N and print the PO by giving output type.

Use View > View Options, and set 'Sort By" to "Manual Order."
Then you will be able to drag-n-drop songs up and down the list.

step 1 ) Define idoc extension for HRMD_A01 using WE30 transaction and define it in partner profiles
step 2) do i need to write some code in BADI also to update information for my custom infotype also if yes then where and which BADI pls let me know ? because already am working on one badi HRALE00INBOUND_IDOC for few validation for incoming data.
step 3 ) add this new custom infotype in my standard ALE filters.
Pls let me know if am mistaking some where or if i have to do some thing else ?

How to add support for new file type.

Using the ESDK, I would like to add support for new file type ( a new extension). this new extension will function like any other non visual code editor but will have specific syntax highlighting, code folding and explorer.
I am trying ot figure out if I need to create a new editor or use existing JDeveloper code editor and add support for new file type. Does anyone have a high level outline on how to do this using the ESDK that is specifically targeted at adding new file type support for a text based code editor?
I have looked at the Samples and keep going in multipe directions. It would be cool if there was an example that was how add syntax higlighting for new file type.

Brian, thank you. I looked at this extension and it answered a lot of questions for me. I was going in the right direction but needed a little help and bost of confidence, this is just what I needed. I created the LanguageSupport, LanguageModel, Addin, Node and TextDocument that are specific to the new file type. I was getting hung up on how to hook this into the JDevelpoer editor. I keep thinking I have to create a custom editor but it looks like I don't have to and it looks like I can associate this file support with the editor framwork, for version 10.1.3.2, with the following in the Addin Initilize() method.

CodeEditor.registerNodeType(MyNode.class, MY_EXTENSION);
LanguageModule.registerModuleForFileType(new MyLanguageModule(), MY_EXTENSION);

1. You can create new PR and PO docu types at the following path:
For PR docu type:
First you need to create number range for docu type or you can use existing number range also. The path for creation of no. range is
SPRO>Materials Management->Purchasing->Purchase Requisition->Define Number Ranges
Then create PR docu type at below path and assign no. range to PR docu type here only
SPRO>Materials Management->Purchasing->Purchase Requisition->Define Document Types
For PO docu type:
Follow same procedure as mentioned for PR docu type. Path is
SPRO>Materials Management->Purchasing->Purchase Order->Define Number Ranges
SPRO>Materials Management>Purchasing->Purchase Order->Define Document Types
If you want to create PO referencing new PR docu type, link the PR docu type to PO docu type at below path:
SPRO>Materials Management->Purchasing->Purchase Requisition->Define Document Types--> Link purchase requisition - document type

Message type for generating IDOC for SUBCONTRACTING PURCHASE ORDER

I have to generate IDOC for PO creation or change .
I am using IDOC_OUTPUT_ORDERS and IDOC_OUTPUT_ORDCHG.
The messagetype.idoctype I am using is ORDERS. ORDERS05 and ORDCHG. ORDERS05.
Now the confusion is regarding whether this message type will work in case of SUBCONTRACTING PURCHASE ORDER as well ?
As I have gone through some websites and came to know that I will have to use PORDCR1.PORDCR102 specially for subcontracting.
And programs we need to use is BUS2012_ICH_R3 instead of RSNASTED and Form Routine SEND_PORDCR1 instead of EDI_PROCESSING.

There is a generic function to create change pointers for all message typs - 'CHANGE_POINTERS_CREATE_DIRECT'. This is triggered only if you configure your message type to create change pointers from BD50.
Once you activate it do any change to orders you can see change pointer tables BDCPV filled. Then BD21 will read the changes and generated outbound idocs accordingly.

Do we need to create new structure to have the Key linking PRDHA.

For this, you need to create Key, Proxy class and search field.
Logically if you use same Proxy class and key as that of PO then the system will search for PO number rather than PR.
