I am using Designer 6i.
I want to ask that :
Is there any facility that can preserve the report layout when I want to generate the report, because every time I generate the report I can't preserve the last layout.

Hi,
In the transaction OAOR, you should be able to insert your company Logo.
GOTO - OAOR (Business Document Navigator)
Give Class Name - PICTURES Class Type - OT..... then Execute
It will show you the list, then select ENJOYSAP_LOGO.
On that list, you will find one control with a "create" tab.
Click std. doc types.
Select SCREEN and double-click.
It will push FILE selection screen.
Select your company logo (.gif) and press OK.
It will ask for a description- for instance: "company logo".
It will let you know your doc has been stored successfully.
You can find your logo under ENJOYSAP_LOGO->Screen->company logo.
Just run your ALV program, you should find your company logo in place of the EnjoySAP logo.

CALL FUNCTION 'REUSE_ALV_COMMENTARY_WRITE'
EXPORTING
IT_LIST_COMMENTARY = HEADING[]
I_LOGO = 'ENJOYSAP_LOGO'

Hope I did not post to the wrong place. but I really need help here. I've been using Crystal Report all these while before I tried out java. However, there is a problem here.
I've been doing some complex reports that comes with subreports and grabing values from the program. but there is no one program that i found can really support the reporting in java. I've even tried the crystal clear and Jbuilder enterprise trial version (which comes with crystal report). but I still can't get the output that I want.
So, I'm here to ask :
1. what sort of reporting system r u using that is recommended?
2. And if I were to continue supporting crystal report where can I get a better component that supports crystal report ?
3. And where can I get tutorials for java integration with crystal reports?

Also check out i-text. It's an open source Java -> PDF tool. You will need to write a mapper to go from JDBC ResultSet to your own custom Java class. Otherwise, it is almost like writing HTML programatically.

Need help with report generation toolkit

I'm having a really hard time finding a solution for my problem. I'm measuring a distance and a diameter simultaneously. The outcoming values have a depency and are stored in a 2-D array. I want to export this array to an excel table and x-y-chart (distance is x and diameter y). So far I can export the data to a table, however the charts produced are useless. Can somebody please help me? I'm almost crying since I'm trying to find a solution for 3 days now.
Additionally, after one measurement is done, the user should have the possibility to do the next measurement, and the data has to be stored in the same excel file, in another worksheet. How can I do this?

Hi!
If you want a nice graph in Excel based on your data you have input there, I would recommend creating a macro that builds your graph. Read more about macro, Excel and LabVIEW here. I don't have the Report Generation toolkit, but I think you can send macros with it too.

Need help with Report Generation Toolkit: Excel Set Cell Format.vi

Hi people,
I've been searching and found this old thread of someone asking what is the input parameter "Number format". And I dont know what should I put in there. I've tried so many possibilities, but nothing works so far, such as:
0,0
0,?
0,#
#,0
?,0
and also with @, doesnt works. Where would I find help about this parameter?
I'm using Excel2003, german version, thus local decimal separator is a comma.
I also found this help from NI, but seems doesnt help me either. Do I miss something important?

I've used your suggestion and some numbers in excel doesnt need to get "right click, change to numbers" anymore (green indicators on the left-top side in some cells are gone). But, I think its still not a number, because I cant use a simple formula, such as in cell A10 I type "= A1/2" (cell A10 equals cell A1 divided with 2) . I got error which says its not a number.
Well, but other thing is found, any format-string I put in the input of Excel Set Cell Format.vi, such as #,########, will be shown the same as "customize #,########" if I right click in a cell in excel and click "Zellen formatieren" (formatting cell). But however, the numbers are still depends on the input of the format I put in the Append Table to Report.vi.

Need help For report RSVTPROT

Hello all,
there is a standard report RSVTPROT which i need to convert into an ALV only for table T000.i am working on release 4.7 in which ALV display is not possible but for ECC6.0 SAP provided ALV option.but also i cannot copy paste the SAP code from ECC6.0 because they have implemented so many standard classes and other things which are out of my scope to define..
did anybody does this kind of development if yes please hellllllllllppppppp......i am not able to do coding for it.......

and i kept this variables it in filter section, based on the LM_DATE Object.
i have tried both.. y'day when i take 0DATE it giving me some results...
But at the same time it is restricting the records..
i think it could be a problem with var.. properties?
need more inputs pls.

when i execute the report it shd ask the prompts with Date interval as in the below...
HR INTW date
LM INTW DATE
TEL INTW DATE
if i dont give any interval in the variable prompt it should display all the recors as follows
Reuisition     HR Count     LM Count     TEL Count
a1               1                  1               1
a2               1                  1                     1
a3               1                   1             1
If i give LM INTW DATE interval as    01.01.2010 to 31.02.2010
then it should display all the other counts as in the output_1 , but for LM count for a3 it should show 0.

a3               1                 0                  1
that means wherever i restrict the data depending on the variable that only that interval key figure value shd be in the report..
for this scenario, which variable i need to use... and how i need to restict the KFig value in the report...
Right now i am getting like this but it is restricting the records,,, where it should not restrict the records...in the report..
Please guide me for the same...
If any concerns about the scenario please let me know...

BI Publisher 10.1.4.3 - To connect to AD for report generation

I need to generate a report against an LDAP(Active directory) . I'm using BIP 10.1.4.3. When i try to configure a datasource, the options present are
1. JDBC
2.JNDI
3. File
3.OLAP.
Can any one guide on how to connect to Active Directory in BI Publisher for report generation.

I have report where users can input the company, housebank, account ID and posting date.
Now in one column of my report named 'Cash in Bank', I need to get all postings from cash
accounts with GL code ending in '0'. Now, I know that I can get the amounts in BSIS/BSAS
but how do I link it with the proper bank and account?
For example:
                   Cash in Bank
Bank A
Account ID 1     1,000,000
Account ID 2     25,000,000

each house bank you can find in table T012, in T012K you'll find the bank accounts to the housebank, the G/L account will be in T012K-HKONT.

I need help for user exit mereq001. I think I messed up with include table CI_EBANDB and CI_EBANMEM. And When I tried to check the syntax . It gives me error like : Class IF_PURCHASE_REQUISITION. Inconsistency in the dictionary for the structure mereq_item_s_cust_data. Anyone had experience for this exit? I just need to extract costcenter information of the each item from the requisition and block the requisiton if the costcenter are differents from each other before the requisition is saved. Any one has idea about it?

Have you checked this struture consistency from SE11. Also check the activation log.
If there are any errors and you are not able to rectify the same use RSDDCHECK program, give your table name and run the report.
This will list down the error structures releated this table and also prompts for you to activate it.

LabView Exe Application file not launch Excel application for report generation

Dear All,
I created one LabVIEW application file for report generation (using Excel Template).
While I run the program in programming mode it works well and create the report file in the specified path.
After creation of the application file(exe), it gives the correct path of where the excel template is placed. The same path is given to New Report.vi, but it gives the error 'File Not Found'.
Tell me, is any other configuration required for generating Excel reports? (During exe application mode)
Give me the solution.

Hello,
Most likely you are encountering a problem of stripping and/or building paths. Probably the easiest thing to do is put a couple indicators on your front panel for the path or paths you care about, build your exe, and make sure you are really using the path you'd like. If you always put the report at some deterministic place relative to the exe (that is, even it the exe is moved, it will go with the exe and remain in the same relative path location, then you can use the Current VIs Path funtion found in the ... File I/O -> File Constants palette as a start path (where you will want to strip at least the exe name off of course).
I think this will bring some clarity to the issue!

Warning! This procedure will destroy all data on your Hard Disk Drive. Be sure you have an up-to-date, tested backup of at least your Users folder and any third party applications you do not want to re-install before attempting this procedure.
• With computer shut down insert install disk in optical drive.
• Hit Power button and immediately after chime hold down the "C" key.
• Select language
• Go to the Utilities menu (Tiger) Installer menu (Panther & earlier) and launch Disk Utility.
• Select your HDD (manufacturer ID) in left side bar.
• Select Partition tab in main panel. (You are about to create a single partition volume.)
• _Where available_ +Click on Options button+
+• Select Apple Partition Map (PPC Macs) or GUID Partition Table (Intel Macs)+
+• Click OK+
• Select number of partitions in pull-down menu above Volume diagram.
(Note 1: One partition is normally preferable for an internal HDD.)
• Type in name in Name field (usually Macintosh HD)
• Select Volume Format as Mac OS Extended (Journaled)
• Click Partition button at bottom of panel.
• Select Erase tab
• Select the sub-volume (indented) under Manufacturer ID (usually Macintosh HD).

Turn the click handler into a full on separate function. Then store all the views in an array and use Math.rand() to randomly choose one.

hi, Someone help me to import oracle 10G dump into 9i database. I'm studying oracle . Im using oracle 10G developer suite(downloaded from oracle) and oracle 9i database. I saw some threads tat we can't import the higher version dumps into lower version database. But i'm badly need help for importing the dump...
or
someone please tell me the site to download oracle 9i Developer suite as i can't find it in oracle site...

I didnt testet it to import a dump out of a 10g instance into a 9i instance if this export has been done using a 10g environment.
But it is possible to perform an export with a 9i environment against a 10g instance.
I am just testing this with a 9.2.0.8 environment against a 10.2.0.4.0 instance and is working so far.
The system raises an EXP-00008 / ORA-37002 error after exporting the data segments (exporting post-schema procedural objects and actions).
I am not sure if it is possible to perform an import to a 9i instance with this dump but maybe worth to give it a try.
It should potentially be possible to export at least 9i compatible objects/segments with this approach.
However, I have my doubts if this stunt is supported by oracle ...
