Hi guys, I'm going to try posting this one last night before throwing my hands up.
I'm having a problem with my MacBook Pro where certain audio, namely in browsers like FireFox or Safari, doesn't output.
YouTube and Google Video stream and display video content correctly, but no audio is output.
System audio such as notifications, as well as iTunes, doesn't seem to be affected.
I tried to follow the steps outlined in another post to check the output Hz setting for my midi device in the Audio MIDI Setup panel. However, this is what my panel looks like:

It's simply blank, with "Output is not supported" displayed where those settings should be.
Any ideas as to the root of this problem? It's almost like I'm missing a .plist file or some other system file, maybe something that got deleted using AppZapper? That's just a wild guess from a recent Mac convert after browsing the forums

First off, it makes total sense that you see "Output is not supported" for you microphone. Change the "Properties For:" drop down to "Built in Output" or whatever output device you are using. You will then see the audio output format and frequencies, but on the left side it will say "Input is not supported"
Second, YouTube and Google Video don't use midi and so the Audio Midi Setup isn't really relevant to your problem at all and you should leave that alone... unless you are you a musician with a midi device setup. Perhaps this is the case, please post if it is. Otherwise you are headed down a blind alley messing with "Audio Midi Setup" to diagnose OR fix your issue.

Radeon 9500 softmoded to 9700 at 295.53 / 295.53 ... I can benchmark at 297/297 but after I've ran it for longer artifacts begin appearing... An I have to reboot. Currently I am using the newest bios drivers as well.
In the BIOS I have Turbo(mat) on an no change to the FSB or CPU vcore, but it says that my vcore is running to high for the specific processor .. Which I can't see how since I have not adjusted it.
MY PSU I am using is a pretty kickass one http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=17-171-001&depa=0 an with the indicator up front it shows I am using in between 170w to 200 w depending if I am benching or not...idle its like 170w running a 3D app its 200w or close to it.
If I try to run my RAM at 3-3-3-8 at usual 1:1 frequency. It won't boot, or when it loads into windows, it will crash.
If I try running it at 433mhz it won't won't post either... unless i turn the turbo(mat) to normal. But the performance gain is about the same as if I had my timing at my set speeds at turbo(mat).
Really, I just need to get some tips. Do I have to adjust my voltages better or what? I really dunno what to do...But nothing is running hot... CPU (which is a prescott...) runs at 44C' - 45C idle and 49-51C full load. system temps are 40-44C depending on ambient temps....
So...any advice would be welcome.

Setting your ram at Auto should run it at 400, which is a 1:1 ratio with the cpu. This is the optimum performance for stock settings. As you increase the FSB to the cpu, the memory clock increases at the same rate.
PAT (MAT) turns off at over 218 on the FSB. At 218 FSB your ram will run at 400*218/200 = 436. PC3700 is rated for 462, so there is a bit more room for overclocking. There is a trick (feature?) that if you set the ram speed at 400 instead of Auto, PAT (MAT) turns off and you can usually run at a higher speed with a higher performance mode setting. You have to play with performance mode and FSB settings to find what works.
For example, with my ram I can use ultra turbo if I set the FSB to 225 or higher. At an FSB of 200 I am limited to Fast.
If you want extreme overclocking, you will have to set your ram speed to 333, which actually runs at 320, which is a 5:4 ratio. Then when the FSB is at 250, the ram will run at 400.
I would recommend you read some of the stickies in the overclockers forum and then post questions there.

I made the restoration disk and made a system restoration using that DVD's one year back to make a new partition and everything went fine.but today my system crashed and I tried to restore from HDD ,by pressing zero on the start up and it wont.I work tried the DVD and it boots...but it staying long time saying copying files......I think some problem on the DVD as I felt some noise from the CD drive that cannot read properly.I removed this HDD and connedted externaly with another PC and realized that c:\\ already formated and some files has been copied there. D:\\ have no problem and all my datas are there.i found another partiton too for the recovery @ 2GB but i coudn recover from
what i should do in this situation ..pls help

Just a few thoughts: Did you cut all power to your computer [include battery and ac] prior to trying to restore, and try toggling zero key when turning on to restore. If this doesn't get computer and/or HDD restore to operate, is other machine you used to read HDD compatable; could you restore HDD on other machine if needed, then try in this one?

Is there a way to dynamically store special characters(eg. new line character) into a text field? This is because, the data is inserted into the DB from a textbox where the user divides the text into several lines but when it is viewed, it is just a single string of text

Generally speaking, you can store any characters in a plain ASCII string if you properly encode them. If you have Oracle Web Server look at URL_ENCODE procedure, it's probably not exactly what you need, but it gives you an idea.

hi, Someone help me to import oracle 10G dump into 9i database. I'm studying oracle . Im using oracle 10G developer suite(downloaded from oracle) and oracle 9i database. I saw some threads tat we can't import the higher version dumps into lower version database. But i'm badly need help for importing the dump...

I didnt testet it to import a dump out of a 10g instance into a 9i instance if this export has been done using a 10g environment.
But it is possible to perform an export with a 9i environment against a 10g instance.
I am just testing this with a 9.2.0.8 environment against a 10.2.0.4.0 instance and is working so far.
The system raises an EXP-00008 / ORA-37002 error after exporting the data segments (exporting post-schema procedural objects and actions).
I am not sure if it is possible to perform an import to a 9i instance with this dump but maybe worth to give it a try.
It should potentially be possible to export at least 9i compatible objects/segments with this approach.
However, I have my doubts if this stunt is supported by oracle ...

You will have to manually make the table adjustments in all the systems using SE14 trans since the changes done using SE14 cannot be collected in any TR.
How to adjust tables :
Enter the table name in SE14. For ex for any Z master data(Say ZABCD), master data table name would be /BIC/PZABCD, text table would be /BIC/TZABCD. Similarly any DSO(say ZXYZ) table name would be /BIC/AZXYZ00 etc.
Just enter the table name in SE14 trans --> Edit --> Select the radio button "Save Data" --> Click on Activate & adjust database table.
NOTE : Be very careful in using SE14 trans since there is possibility that the backend table could be deleted.
How to collect the changes in TR:
You can collect only the changes made to the IO --> When you activate, it will ask you for the TR --> Enter the correct package name & create a new TR. If it doesn't prompt you for TR, just goto Extras --> Write transport request from the IO properties Menu screen. Once these IO changes are moved successfully, then the above proceduce can be followed using SE14 trans.

Need help for finding oracle payables tables

I need help for finding tables relating fields INVOICE_ID, NOTIFICATION_ID and APPROVAL_STATUS or WFAPPROVAL_STATUS. I have searched a lot but has been unable to find any table containing all the above mentioned fields. I found the table WF_NOTIFICATIONS for INVOICE_ID, however have been unable to find the latest tables with INVOICE_ID and APPROVAL_STATUS as fields.
All the tables having this combination are either very old tables which are not used anymore or doesnt give the required data. Please let me know where am i going wrong. Once i get the required tables, i need to join the tables to get the required data with the imp fields. Also, the values of WFAPPROVAL_STATUS are not very clear to me. I need values for it as APPROVED, REJECTED AND INITIATED.

Warning! This procedure will destroy all data on your Hard Disk Drive. Be sure you have an up-to-date, tested backup of at least your Users folder and any third party applications you do not want to re-install before attempting this procedure.
• With computer shut down insert install disk in optical drive.
• Hit Power button and immediately after chime hold down the "C" key.
• Select language
• Go to the Utilities menu (Tiger) Installer menu (Panther & earlier) and launch Disk Utility.
• Select your HDD (manufacturer ID) in left side bar.
• Select Partition tab in main panel. (You are about to create a single partition volume.)
• _Where available_ +Click on Options button+
+• Select Apple Partition Map (PPC Macs) or GUID Partition Table (Intel Macs)+
+• Click OK+
• Select number of partitions in pull-down menu above Volume diagram.
(Note 1: One partition is normally preferable for an internal HDD.)
• Type in name in Name field (usually Macintosh HD)
• Select Volume Format as Mac OS Extended (Journaled)
• Click Partition button at bottom of panel.
• Select Erase tab
• Select the sub-volume (indented) under Manufacturer ID (usually Macintosh HD).

Now in one column of my report named 'Cash in Bank', I need to get all postings from cash
accounts with GL code ending in '0'. Now, I know that I can get the amounts in BSIS/BSAS
but how do I link it with the proper bank and account?
For example:
                   Cash in Bank
Bank A
Account ID 1     1,000,000
Account ID 2     25,000,000

each house bank you can find in table T012, in T012K you'll find the bank accounts to the housebank, the G/L account will be in T012K-HKONT.
