I am using netbeans 5.5 and Sql server for db.What is the full form for DAO and how is it going to help me in my project.U also talk about uml want ot know about it.
and how is it coming to help me.Its a very wast topic i serached.what will be helpful to me of the UML.
What should i start first --- jsp or db design.
What should i use for web based project --- only use jsp(presentation)+dao or jsp+servlet+dao.What would be best ?

can't find this information in Business Objects Designer's Guide and in Business Objects Administrator Guide.
Can somebody give short instructions how can I do it?

If the change between the 2 types of data has to happen dynamically during run time them
1. Use 2 dataproviders
a. Current
b. Historic
2. Merge the 2 dimensions
3. Use Webi variable to switch between the measure of the current and historic universe
Ex if [year] < 2010 then historic.[expense] else current.[expense]

The title says it all really. I need help with the Web Application Certificate.
I've followed the instructions from here:

I can get as far as item 3.c
3. Getting Your Certificate Officially Signed
C. Select the self-signed certificate, then click File > Certification Request > Import CA Reply.
I can get the certificate in to the Filr appliance but from there I'm stuck.
Any help much appreciated.

ok when you have you self signed certificate and you requested an official certificate with the corresponding CSR then you just need to go back to the digital certificates console. To import the official certificate, select the self signed certificate, then click File > Certification Request > Import CA Reply. Then a new windows pops out to select the certificate from your trusted authority from your local hard disk. Find the file (.cer worked for me) and click ok. As soon as you do this in the digital certificates console the self signed certificate will change the information that now it is officially signed. Look at the second column and you should see the name of your trusted authority under "issue from"
I personally had a lot of issues across all platforms. Especially Firefox and Chrome for android. Needed to pack all the root cert, intermediate cert and signed cert into one file and import as CA reply. Not even sure if this is correct now. But at least it works.

Need help for the $200 promo rebate for trade-in of I Phone 4. Unable to preregister when I ordered the new 6 in September. Now can not contact VZW recycle program regarding.

When I ordered my phone on Sept. 13th in a Verizon store, I had to ask the salesman how I went about getting the $200 rebate. He said shipping materials would come with the new phones. When I received the confirmation e-mail of my order, it contained a link for the rebate. Fortunately I clicked on the link, filled out the form online, and received the packing materials to send my phone in shortly after. My phones came in on Oct. 14th and I sent 3 of them back. So far I have received a gift card for $200 for 2 of the phones; the other is showing not received. I don't know what your situation is, but I think the promotion ended Oct. 15th. If I had listened to the salesman I think I would be out of luck as well. I hope I am wrong for your sake.

If you are talking about Safari on the iPad, there is no version of Adobe Flash for iOS and there never has been. Clear Safari, close the app and reset the iPad.
Go to Settings>Safari>Clear History and Website Data
In order to close apps, you have to drag the app up from the multitasking display. Double tap the home button and you will see apps lined up going left to right across the screen. Swipe to get to the app that you want to close and then swipe "up" on the app preview thumbnail to close it.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.

Is it possible to create a rendition targeted for the web based content viewer?

The way PDFs render in the web broswer is (presently) pretty bad.
Can we create a rendition of a Folio which is specifically (and only) for the purpose of being viewed in the web based content viewer?
Also can we leverage the downloading options in the Folio Producer to yield better results and less lags in rendering? I would like to suggest that Adobe adds some kind of indicator/status-bar which shows remiaing assets still being downloaded. For example, video overlays aren't immediately available.
Despite these quirks, this new capability is huge and we really appreciate it!

I need Firefox 3.6. How can I go back? I need it for a web-based software application that I use at work.

At work (University of Texas at Arlington), I use a vendor-provided web-based application that requires Firefox 3.6. I've uninstalled Firefox and tried to install 3.6, but I got Firefox 6.0. When I start Firefox now, it sometimes automatically updates so that at this point I'm using 7.0. I've lost some functionality in the application, and the vendor's tech support is not able to help with some things such as printing pages, user preferences, etc.

Are you perhaps looking for the ability to enter a "reply-to" email address that is different from the actual email address of the account you are sending from? If so, that feature is indeed not presently available in BB10. Among other features, it may be one that many hope are added to the BB10 platform with future OS releases. But, for now, it is what it is.

Need help for the security setting

We are preparing the demo environment with ADF Security turn on with Http Basic Authentication.
Everything works fine but for a command that is send to one of our proxy servlet (context path /BIProxy), we got a pop up dialog that asks you to login to weblogic container.
Anyone have any suggestion regarding what extra security configuration that I need to config to access to context path/servlet that is not default Faces servlet.
The following is what we have in jazn-data.xml for region:

Hi, we find more informaiton.
We got two 401 errors which causes the login popup.
o. For the 1st 401 error (expected), the http header is set to: WWW-Authenticate: Basic realm="jazn.com" so we enter the correct user credential, the dialog goes away.
o. For the 2nd 401 error, the http header is set to: WWW-Authenticate: Basic realm="WebLogic Server" so we get "Authentication Required" dialog ask for WLS login.
For the 2nd 401 error, we are pointing to /Sales-BaseSalesSalesHomePageUi-context-root/BIProxy?cid=BIPresentationServer&RedirectURL=res/b_mozilla/common/obips.ImportMeFirst.js from Referer URL: /Sales-BaseSalesSalesHomePageUi-context-root/faces/zbsSalesHomePage?_adf.ctrl-state=x5a1n5x2d_11
So my quesiton is that do we need to add some security setting in jazn-data.xml or someother files to specify security setting for /BIProxy?

Need advice on a web based project development

hi all,
First things first, I am quite new to java and related stuff war, ejb, jsp etc.
Im trying to design an application which will
-be accessed by a web browser
-will store all the data on a DB (mysql is what im thinking)
-will have user login (each user will have different access levels)
-min 500 people will be online at all times
-the DB will host more than 5million records
-the db will be like cars, licenses, drivers, penalties (not mentioning user, user groups, etc)
how will the software work:
user logs in using: username pass accountid
according to user-rights(access level) the thing he/she can to will be shown in first screen
user will chose an option and the next page will be shown with options again according to users access-level
when editing updating inserting a record the user will enter a secondary password to confirm the action
and dont know why but i have a thing for security so i want the system to be as safe and stable as possible
by the way i dont have hardware problems so if using the method you advised requires alot of cpu power no problem
well i hope the car driver example brought an image to you guys
well my problem is i dont know what to use when coding:
ex: login page can be html(login page)-->jsp(user-pass verification) or jsp(login page)-->jsp(will check login true javaclass)--> java class
i want to use java and java based systems, please help me i dont know what to choose war, ejb, jsp-java, jsp-html, etcc
