Need help getting some music 'across the bridge'

So I've been clicking and dragging music
from my external hard drive into my iTunes
and so far alot of the records have made
the leap...
however, there are a handful that WILL NOT
make the move. I'll select them and then drag
'em over but they don't add to my iTunes.
What's the deal?
yes, I've checked to see if they were 'protected'
they are not.
yes, I've checked to make sure they work fine.
They do.
I'm lost here.

Alternatively the tracks may have been successfully added to the library but are listed somewhere unexpected.

It's possible if you computer is not authorized with your iTunes Store account it may not have transfered your purchases from the iPad to the computer. Desperately need help getting Flash music player to work correctly!

I'm working up a Flash template for a site that has a music player for 3 different tracks. The template came with 3 separate fla files for each track (Music1.fla, Music2.fla and Music3.fla), which I opened and imported my own mp3's into, set them to repeat only once, and then published the swf's. The music player works fine, but when the first song ends, the music stops unless you click on the next music track in the player. I'd like to have it where after the first song finishes it automatically starts playing the next song, then when it finishes the 3rd and final song it goes back to song one. How can I do this? Is it as easy as inserting some Actionscript into the Music fla's or would it have to be fixed in the player itself on the site's fla?

K, give this a shot.
All you need to do is duplicate the code on the buttons in the sound controller that load the three songs. So on the last frame of music1.fla, enter -
path="music2.swf";
loadMovieNum(path,1);
Do the same for the other music flas using the next song number. You may have to add _root. before the loadMovieNum command, so it would be:
_root.loadMovieNum(path,1);
This will only work if the mp3s are imbedded in the music flas. You will have to add a zillion frames to the timeline to see where the audio file ends, create a keyframe there and enter code on the keyframe.

I need to transfer my music from my iphone to my computer itunes. itunes is only giving me the option to sync from itunes to iphone, which would wipe out all of my music I think. Can someone help with this?

razmee209 is right, but if you can't get your old computer, you can use iExplorer to download your music from your phone to your computer. I've used it for other things and it works.

I need help getting some photos off a really old ipod

Ok so here it is.... My grandparents way back when gave me an ipod video, I just recently found it and realized it has photo's on it that I would like to keep. My problems are 1. I don't have the original computer I used for it 2. when I plug it in my computer thinks it's a hard drive 3. autoplay won't give me the option to import the photo's to my computer and 4. itunes doesn't seem to have an option to transfer photo's from ipods to your pictures folder.... if any one could help I'd appriciate it.

The photos you synced to your iPod through iTunes are no longer in their full resolution, but instead are scaled down thumbnails of those photos. So if you do manage to get them off your iPod, they will be quite small in size compared to the original ones you lost.
In order to get them off of your iPod, you'll need the help of some sort of 3rd party software. Here is one option. You can Google for more.

I have Photoshop Elements 12 that was purchased for my Windows 8 system in July of 2014. I have never been able to get the organizer to work. I need help getting this portion of the program to work. I would like to talk with an Adobe tech.

How is it that I can download and use Photoshop Elements 12 program editor and not have access to the organizer???

The two applications (organizer & editor) can work independently and only talk to each other when they need to.
Are you updating from a previous version or is this the first?
There are (at least) three ways of starting the organizer:-
1) from the Welcome screen
2) from the editor - see button at the bottom of the editor window
3) directly using windows explorer to locate and double click on the following
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Elements 12 Organizer\PhotoshopElementsOrganizer.exe"
[ignore the (x86) part if on 32bit system]
Can you get any of those ways to work? Do you get any error message or does nothing happen?
You could try creating a new catalog to see if that helps.
Start the organizer (in any of the ways) with the Shift key held down while it loads (if it does). That should bring up the catalog manager
Click on the New button (top right)
Give it a name like Dummy or Test and click on OK - that should create & open a blank catalog

Today I noticed that the sound (music, games and videos) was not working on my Iphone 4. I can still hear updates, phone calls, ringing, text messages etc. I have backed up the phone and restored it, but that didnt work. If I plug head phones into the phone that works. I dont understand. Does anyone have any suggestions beforeI take it an Apple store or just get a new phone.

HT204053 Need help getting my music from iCloud match to my new macbook

I recently bought a new MacBook Pro.     I'm finally leaving Wintel behind. Yay!
Anyway, on my soon-to-be history PC, through my iTunes app on the PC, I paid the 29.95 to join iCloud Match, and it spent a few hours syncining all my itunes songs up to iCloud, including a few hours it spent uploading CD-sourced music on my PC that it couldn't match up automatically.    So far so good.
But now, I'm on my new Macbook pro, which came pre-loaded with iTunes, I'm trying to figure out how to assoicate my new MacBook Pro with the library my PC created in iCloud.      Ultimately, I just want to get rid of my PC, and have my new Mac be the device that houses my iTunes librarry, and to which I can attach my iPod from now on to sync with.
What's my next step?    Do I have to pay another 29 bucks via my MacBook to make it a valid device on the iCloud Match account?   Or is there a way I can just log into the new icloud account from my MacBook, to download the library?    I don't mind paying the 29 bucks again if that's what's necessary. That's not the issue.    I just want to start using my Mac as the "conduit to iTunes for my iPod", in the way that my PC used to be, so I can finally dump that PC.
Any suggestions??

Here's an update:   I decided to go through the new Mac, and try to at least Authorize it into my iTunes account throught the itunes app on the MacBook, to see what happened.    Well, I got a message on the Mac that I have exceeded the limit of 5 computers that could be associated with my itunes library.
Most of these are old computers I've long since thrown away.    So, I want to disable them.   But Apple only gives the option, to "Deauthorize All".    Which thereafter, I assume I can just enable the new Mac.    But here's my worry:
When I "deauthorize all" will that have any effect on the integrity of the library I have sitting in iCloud?? By deauthorizing all computers, and then just re-enabling one (my new Mac), is there ANY way in this process that all the songs I've purchased through itunes AND all the songs I've CD-imported on my old computer that were all uploaded to iCloud ---- that nothing will be lost or erased???

I need help getting a podcast of the "Dr. Laura Show" to download into itunes instead of another folder in MY Music. The only way I know to do it is after it has downloaded I can drag and drop from the download file into itunes. There must be a way to get it to download directly in a itunes folder labeled "Dr. Laura". Several of my other podcast I use Juicer to download and they work fine. Any help?

Need help getting ready for print

I am running Photoshop CS5 on a Mac 10.8.4.
I have basic photoshop experience.
My designer has left me in the lurch at a daedline and I need to get some material to the printer ASAP.
The design is finished.
The printer wants all the text outlined and the images embedded then a "high quality PDF" submitted to print.
Please can someone tell me how to outline text and imbed images. (I know how to savw to PDF).
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Select a Text Layer and invoke
Type > Convert to Shape
to make the text layer a layer with a vector mask.
As for embedding images if you create the pdf in Photoshop I don’t see the relevance of the request.
But the settings you choose for Compression and Output are relevant factors.
Which Color Space does the printer request? (And please don’t say CMYK …)

Sure, you can get around it if you don't need the newest version of iTunes. I still use version 7.5 because the newer versions didn't strike me as offering anything I needed.
If you do need a version 10-something then you will have to upgrade your operating system to Leopard (fi your computer will support it) at least. If you need 10.5 for some reason then there's no getting around it, you will have to buy a new computer.

Seems like some who have tried two devices on the JMICRON IDE port have had trouble. Try without the hard drive and see if you get that error. If that is the case I would try a PATA to SATA converter for your hard drive and connect it to one of the Intel SATA Ports.

Yes, we are talking about FCP X...this is the thing:
I worked on a project a few days ago and went to share - export movie.
Today, i opened the FCP again, to make some changes, and when i enter to the project, it shows me as one big clip.....i dont see it says compound clip....and i tried anyways pressing break appart clips...but nothing....could it be that i made it compound before exporting it..? if so how can i recover the un-compound version >?
I tried to import the saved .mov file, but it opens the same....as one long clip...
