Need help guys.. 10.5.5 update problem.
Ok, so I was in class and decided to run the update on my computer because I had awhile to go before the end. The update downloads and everything just fine, then my computer restarts to finish the installation. The dialog box that comes up goes through "Installing files" until it gets to 100% then pauses for awhile. After about 5-10 minutes, the teacher says we can leave, so I did a hard shutdown because closing my MBP would have put it to sleep anyways.
Now when I try to start my computer it takes awhile to get to the login screen. After I login, it stays on the pink/black leopard galaxy picture, and doesnt progress any further after that. Basically I'm stuck on that screen with a pointer that move around and that picture as my background. Anybody know what went wrong here.. or how I can attempt to fix it?

that was the opposite of clever. you should have let it sleep then. interrupting an update like this is a sure way to fubar your system which is what you have done.
If you have a backup, restore your system from backup and reinstall 10.5.5. if you don't have a backup do an [archive and install|http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1710?viewlocale=en_US] and reinstall all system updates.

Do not take it to a third party repair shop - downgrading causes problems and voids your warranty.
I had to unlock it so that i could really use it as a phone.
And that is the root of the problem. Unless you had your carrier unlock it, it was hacked and cannot be legitimately activated. Even if you don't care about warranty or problems, downgrading simply will not help an activation issue. -

d. View the books he/she has reserved so far.
Additional:
1. For book store administrator, the program can:
a. Request administrator userid and password.
b. Add/Remove members.
c. Update members� userid and password.
d. Change administrator�s password.
e. Change quantity of books whenever it is return or loan out.
f. Remove or add in new titles.

2. For members, the program can:

Drivers? You need a program to run them such as K-Jams. Then you will need to check your connections from the laptop to the monitor and make sure your settings are correct in System Preferences.

Need help ASAP...iPhone activation problems
Today i bought two verizon iPhones from the apple store. I activated one just fine but I'm having problems with the other one. I used the upgrade for one of my lines on the account to purchase the other phone. I actually bought this for a friend who will use the iPhone on her own personal account. When I went to the apple store they "activated" the phone but didn't hook it up to the computer for iTunes or anything. Are there any steps I need to take before I give the phone to her so she can have a smooth transition in activating the phone because she lives in another state than I do? Do I have to hook the phone up to iTunes and activate it on my line or no? then switch back to old phone? Phone has never been hooked up to the computer. Need help ASAP please.

Need help updated Firmware to 6.0.2 crazy mad battery draining. This phone even switch to airplane mode the last three hours still drained about 30% battery life what is going on apple please sort this problem out.

I need help with my Nokia 5800 update to v40.0.005
Hey im having trouble with updating my Nokia 5800 to v40.0.005.
The version on my phone at the moment is v21.0.025 and when i try to update it on my phone it says no update available.
I tried downloading Nokia Update Software and getting it from there but the program wouldnt work either.
Is there any other way i can get the v40.0.005 were it should work? or even getting the knetic scrolling and applications without needing to get v40.0.005?

Go to Solution.Under your battery, there's a product code on a sticker (X: 0586707). Go here: http://europe.nokia.com/support/download-software/device-software-update/can-i-update and type in your productcode to see if there should be an update for your productcode. If there's not, you could take your phone to a Nokia Carepoint and ask if they could do it - no promises. Or else you have to wait untill your productcode gets it.

Need Help In Solving Writing To Queue Problem
Hi Guys,
I have two threads that are adding to the same message queue. The first one is suppose to add four integers consecutively. Meanwhile the second thread add an integer in between the four integers. Because of that my application is not working properly. I would like that when a thread is adding then the other must wait before it adds. The method that the threads call to add to the queue are all synchronized, but it is still behaving like that.
I need help in solving it.

What OS is on your Mini? What year/model is the Mini? The seller should have reinstalled the OS that came with the Mini instead of just selling it to you as is.
Once you determine the OS, you can erase your Mini's Macintosh HD and reinstall the OS which will allow you to setup your own account during the Setup process. -
Need help!!!! GUI problems with netbeans
i have a problem with the interface i created using netbeans.
i created a JFrame, inside it a JDesktopPane, and inside that 3 JInternalFrames. the problem is in one of the JinternalFrames, i have 4 radio buttons which i forgot to add to a buttongroup and whenever i try to do that, the GUI doesn't work anymore. The bigger problem is that if i undo the changes, the thing still doesn't work and i have to copy my backup project folder over the one i work on to get an output.
i tried to edit the source code to add the 4 buttons to a button group but netbeans won't let me since i created the buttons thru it not by writing it myself
please i really need help with this and i hope its a stupid thing i'm just overlooking.
If u need the code, i will gladly post it.
