Just had an employee terminated most acrimoniously and had an iPhone 5C that was a brick. Apple support can help remove the lock. Better hold onto your original receipt and record the Serial# ! I do not mean the MEID or IMEI but the Serial# found on the original box or Settings>General>About. In my case no receipt or Serial#. 2 hours on the phone between Apple and Verizon and got what was needed. Submitted form and got reply to allow 2-10 business days.

Need help here! I'm out of options. Computer can't see the wireless network

Sorry for the novel, but I have to tell you what is going on with my computer. I also need to vent because I’m extremely frustrated. I want to make sure I give as much info as I can we can get this fixed. I’m done with trying to figure this out on my own!!!
I’m having a major issue with the wireless network connection on my desktop. I’ve tried everything and I can’t figure out what it’s doing.
First of all, my wireless router is set up correctly (according to the Sticky), has active security, and works fine. It has nothing to do with the router. I’m sure of it.
Here’s a quick history:
When I was at my first residence in Chicago and bought a Linksys wireless N router in May 2008. My computer was about 30 feet away from the router and everything worked fine. Always found the router and never lost connection.
I moved to a new place in September 2008 and used the same router, computer, etc. at my new place. The computer was only about 7 feet away from the router this time, but I used the wireless connection instead so I wouldn’t have a network cable lying across the floor. At first everything worked fine. No issues. Then, one day out of the blue, my desktop lost connection with the router. My router didn’t even appear as an Available Wireless Network. I rebooted everything and that seemed to fix it. OK, issue fixed, right? Wrong. It did it again the next day. I rebooted everything, but it still couldn’t find my router. It did see lots of other wireless routers in the area though so I know the wireless card was working. It just didn’t see my router.
This went on for a while. Sometimes it would see my router and connect then it would lose it again. I thought maybe it was the router going bad. Well, I have a notebook computer too so I tried it. It has found my router every time and has never lost connection. I had it sitting on top of my desktop even to see if there was some sort of dead spot in my condo, but the notebook found my router just fine.
Sometimes my desktop would see my router, but it wouldn’t be my network name. It would call it “Home” or something. I know it was my network because it was the only network with maximum (Excellent) signal strength. I’m thinking it must be some sort of association issue. For some reason it doesn’t associate my router as an available network. I don’t understand that.
I tried everything: Ad Aware, Live OneCare, registry cleaners, driver updates, restore points, pretty much anything I found in the forums. Nothing worked for long if at all. It’s like my desktop only finds my router when it wants to. Note: The only thing that would work sometimes was if I clicked “Repair.” Sometimes that would work. I finally gave up and connected my desktop via network cable and unhooked my wireless card. I never lost connection as long as it was hard-wired.
The drama continues. I recently moved to Iowa and set up my network here. I’m using the same router, same desktop and wireless card, same notebook computer, etc. I went ahead and tried the wireless card on my desktop again. It worked just fine! No connection issues at all. It connected and stayed connected. I thought, “Well, that’s strange. It must have been something with the condo in Chicago. Oh well!” It worked fine from February 5 until March 10. Now it’s doing it again!!!! The notebook is about 3 feet away and sees the router just fine.
Here are the facts:
I’m using a Linksys WRT300N Wireless-N router.
I’m using a Linksys Wireless-N PCI WMP300N Adapter (about 18 months old).
I’m running Windows XP on the custom built desktop and Windows Vista on the HP notebook.
I built this computer about 5 years ago and have not done any major upgrades for 2-3 years. The only thing I added was the wireless card. I also changed out the HD in January 2009 and did a data migration right before I moved to Iowa in February. All of the networking issues were going on well before I did the data migration though so it has nothing to do with that. In fact, I had my computer hard-wired into my router at the time of the data migration and the wireless worked fine (for a little while) after I moved to Iowa. So if anything, the data migration seemed to help with my wireless connection.
All drivers are up to date.
Using Windows Live OneCare and have run complete scan: nothing found.
Using Ad Aware and have run complete scan: only found cookies and deleted them but didn’t fix issue.
Ran WinsockxpFix but that didn’t help.
Ran TweakNow RegCleaner Standard but that didn’t help.
Right-clicking the wireless icon, I try to view Available Wireless Networks. The window comes up and shows me other wireless networks in the area (2 available right now), but doesn’t show my network at all. I click “Refresh network list” and 1 or 2 of the other networks will come up, but mine is still not shown.
I’ve clicked “Repair” and get this message: “Windows could not finish repairing the problem because the following action cannot be completed: Connecting to the wireless network.”
If I go to Control Panel, there is a Wireless Configuration Utility program from Broadcom. When I open that here is what I find:
It is not managing my wireless networks.
Under the “Wireless Networks” tab I see my Network with an “X” over the router icon to the left of it and a locked security icon to the right of it.
No information under the “Link Status” or “Statistics” tabs.
The “Site Monitor” tab shows my wireless network and the other 2 networks in the area (although they drop in and out because of signal strength). My network is always present even though the signal strength bounces up and down. This tab shows that my network is secure, 802.11 is g and n, speed is 270 mbps, Channel is 9, and Signal bounces from orange/red to green. Data encryption is (m)TKIP, TKIP, WPA-PSK.
I was going to use my notebook to post this message since it has been connected for 2 days without ever losing connection. It shows Very Good signal strength and is about 3 feet away from my desktop.
Update: My desktop just connected to my network after sitting there for 2 hours. Good to Very Good signal. Broadcom tool shows the connection and now has information in the Link Status and Statistics tabs.
Cancel that. It just lost connection again. It was only connected for about 5 minutes. There is no change in signal strength according to Broadcom though. In fact, Broadcom shows better signal now that I lost connection.
Now, it just connected again (on its own) after sitting there for 10 minutes! I’ve been surfing the web on my desktop for 45 minutes now and I’m using my desktop to post this message. What the heck?!!! This is what it’s like. Aggravating huh?
Well, that’s all I can think to write. What else do you need? Can anybody help me with this?

Thanks but it's just my desktop that doesn't see it though. My notebook sees it everytime, even at the same exact time that my desktop doesn't see it. For example yesterday when I was typing up this post, I was typing up the post on my notebook because my desktop didn't see the router. I don't think it has anything to do with the router actually, but I wanted to see if anyone on here has encountered this issue before. Other forums have similar issues but I've tried all of the fixes I found elsewhere and they didn't work.
Any other ideas?

it say that i need the code than can upgrate version i type the code aready the press get it to the lastest version but my handphone semm like never recieve any installin thing about the latest version how can someone help me here..

It will tell you if there's any new firmware for your phone or not.
If your phone model isn't listed then it cannot be upgraded using this software. You will need to visit a care point to upgrade it.

Need help about my Skype Accounts

Hi eveyone,
I have created the 2 Skype accounts with same email address and with same password.
After a some time, the first account is not logged in.
I have requested to the Skype team to submit the code on my email address and I used it but it didn't work. I can't log in. However, the second account keeps working correctly. So what I do? in order to sign in in my first account.
Is there any issue using the same email address/password?

Need help with understanding Skype Number please

Hi there,
Not sure if this is posted twice!
I live in the UK and am trying to offer online coaching through a company in America. I can only offer live chat sessions if I have a US or Canadian number. Is it a Skype Number that I need? Why would it matter which State I choose - will people only be able to contact me from that State?
Would be really grateful for some clarity.

Unfortunately, for several reasons, Skype Numbers are not available in Canada.
The concept of any virtual number is to provide a way for people who do not have accounts on the service to contact the subscriber, but using a fixed line or land line number. In the case of Skype Numbers in the United States, the best scenario would be to have a number set up where most of your customers would be able to call without incurring high toll charges or ideally no toll charges. Of note, not all states participate in the Skype Number program, again for any number of legitimate reasons.
Skype does not offer "toll-free" numbers.

I don't write scripts that do this because the features are already available with Expression Controls and expressions. That's the route I would suggest. You are reinventing the wheel. If you want specific help on scripting then try asking some questions in the scripting sub forum for AE. You'll find the forum under sub communities.
If you just want to create a slider for opacity that you can add to any layer you select first add an expression control slider to the layer, then press t to reveal the opacity property, then hold down the Alt/Option key and click on the stopwatch to start and expression, then drag the pickwhip to the slider control. Now, with transparency selected select Animation>Save Animation Preset and give it a name. Now when you need a slider to control a layer, or to control a bunch of layers simply select them and apply your preset.
You could also put your expression control slider on a null, give the name a null, apply the expression to a layer and then save the transparency property as an animation preset. Now if you have 50 layers you want to control with a single slider just add the null, change the name, then select all 50 layers and apply your animation preset.
I have a library of about 200 custom animation presets that use expressions to do most of my repetitive tasks. It saves a ton of time. Heres one that fades a layer in and then out based on the in and out point of the layer. I use this one daily. You'll see what I mean if you apply it to a layer. fadeIO.ffx

Loading External SWF Files: Making Things Simple... Still need help here =)

Hello everyone! First of all, sorry for my english... I'm Brazilian and english is not my first language.
This is my first post meant to be my first post and I'm learning AS3. Didn't know about this forum but now I hope to have the time to visit it a lot to help and be helped! =)
Well, I'm trying to import some external files to my main flash file with buttons. Yes, this is a newbie question, but I'm learning... I click button 1 and content 1 is loaded, click button 2 and content 2 is loaded, and so on. So, I got two ways for doing it:

The problem with this first option is that whenever I click a button, it don't renew the content of the "box"... instead, the content loaded is stacked over the last one and I don't know how to clean it... The user Andrei did the trick with the "while statement" so the above code is working but I don't know how to use tween with it...

Well, the second option "is" working but I have some problems with the Tween... I have to wait the tween to finish before clicking another button or the tween will bug... I don't know how to disable the buttons until the tween is finished =/
Now, I used to have one tween for each function but now I got it inside a function and just call it inside each function. Simple for you but I was like WOW when I had the idea and put it to practice! But I'm still repeating a lot of codes here with the "cityLoader.load(cityURL);" but when I try to put it inside the function "cityTweens" it will just open the Montreal City, maybe because I'm calling it as soon as the site opens...
I'm almost sure I can make things simple, like mixing the idea of the first code (currentCity+".swf") so I don't need to call a function for each button. I just don't know how to do it...
Could anyone help me? I'll also be VERY happy if you point me to any tip like good practices that I'm not following.

As I said in your previous post, removing the child would not do the trick. Technically, you need to remove it after the tween is finished.
In any case there are several issues with how you approach the whole thing. First of all, if you target your application to be on Internet - swf loading will not happen instantly - thus you, perhaps, need to consider waiting for swfs to be loaded before you doing anything with them. But if you just do it on local machine - you don't really need for them to show up. On the other hand, even with local environment it makes sense to take into account asynchronous/unpredicatable nature of external file loading.
Also, your code can be more comact and the same functionality delegated to a single function. The code below demonstrates one of the ways. This is not the bes way though because it forces to load objects again although they were loaded already. But this is another story. I did not check code in action, of course (this is just an idea) - it is up to your to work out bugs:

MovieClips as Buttons! Need help here!

Hi I have made several movieclips and added "on"-events for
them on the main timeline. These events tells it to play something
INSIDE the movieclips (i have been labeling keyframes inside the
MC). So far no problems.
I'm using Flash Pro 8 btw..
The problem occurrs between the onRollOver and the
onRollOut.( Or between the "_over" and "_out" labels inside the
MC.)
If I move the mouse to fast over my button, it doesnt
automatically jump to the "_out"-label inside my MC.
(before the playhead inside the mc gets to the stop(); were
the _out label is, too).
Sorry, my english sucks. I'm completely stuck and my flash
web page needs to be handed in wery soon. I would appreciate your
help!

I need help with my skype not responding. PLEASE H...

So Ive been having troubles with my skype for a while now and i havent gotten them to stop. Whenever i load up skype it just goes to a white blank window and doesnt respond until i end it in task manager. Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated as this has bothered me for a long time now.

Please, run the DirectX diagnostics tool.
Go to Windows Start and in the Run box type dxdiag.exe and press the OK button. This will start the DirectX diagnostics program. Run this diagnostics and save the results to a file. Please, attach this file to your post.
