Need help in CS3

I'm trying to create a line of text (well, multiple lines of text) that will look like this:
1234567 Title......................$12.34
I've figured out how to get the tabs that I want, but can't figure out how to get the ".........." to show up. Can anyone help me with this?

Two choices. Add a leader to the tab character (select it in the tabs panel and type a dot or dot and space in the leader field), or add a custom underline with a "dotted" stroke style to the tab. That's more felixble in appearance since you can adjust the weight and position of the stroke, and you can make it a character style which can be applied as part of the paragraph style using a nested style.

Before trying to remove try re-installing CS3 right on top of the current install. Often re-installing Photoshop on top of itself fixes the install. If it does be sure to apply the cs3 updates.

Need help:photoshop CS3 crashes when placing an image on a blank doc...?

Does this sound at all familiar to anyone or has anybody experienced this as well? I have a blank document open and have tried both placing and opening an image (not one image in particular but many) and I recieve a pop up box saying CS3 has encountered an error and needs to close. I've uninstalled all adobe products on my PC and reinstalled them hoping that would help, but the same problem persists. Please, if anyone has any info, tips, trick i'd very much appreciate it. I'm a working pro and have fallen a day and a half behind because of this. Thanks in advance.

Need help deactivating CS3 license from a computer I can no longer access

I recently bought a new computer and erased my old hard drive after just uninstalling CS3 Creative Suite there. (I forgot to deactivate the license.) Now, the serial number won't work for the program suite I'm trying to install in my new one. Appreciate any help with this!

Need Help: PS CS3 on Intel Mac 10 .4.9 Cannot Open Any Files

CS3 has been very stable for me. All of a sudden it will not open any type of file. I get a spinning beach ball and need to force quit. I get the "Photoshop Not Responding" message in the Force Quit Window.
I've tried to open my own PS-made JPEGs and my own .PSD files with no luck. Happens whether I double click file or use open dialog. Tried files on different drives as well.
I've repaired permissions on the boot disk but no luck. I've got Disk warrior but I'm at work and it is home.
Any suggestions? I need to get a project finished here today.

I am able to set up a new account and work but even after deleting all preferences the problem persists in my admin account.
I'll try to look for any font corruption and clear font cache but having to reinstall the OS is a real drag. Not sure why PS should corrupt the OS, itself.
Any chance I can uninstall and remove PS then install again?

Need help with CS3 DW previews in Firefox 3.6.13

I'm working in CS3 Dreamweaver & just updated Firefox to 3.6.13. Before I updated, I had no problem previewing websites in DW. Since I'm on a Mac & working on a Linux site, now I can't get previews on any browser but Safari (no Firefox, no IE). Help!

There is a fix for Dreamweaver, so it works in Firefox 3.6+ versions on MacOSX 10.5 and higher - may be inconsistent with lower versions of Mac OSX:

Need help in CS3 creating CS4 spry tooltip-like widgit

I am extremely new to Dreamweaver and know very little HTML and no other codes and so please bear with me if I am using some terms incorrectly.
I created an image map with hotspots. When I move the mouse over a hotspot I would like for a description box to come up with either an image and text, or just an image, whichever is easiest. I believe what I am trying to do is called an image tooltip?
I've searched all over the internet to try and find step by step instructions or a video on this, but the closest I could find was the CS4 spry tooltip widgit, which is new to dreamweaver and not part of CS3. I figured out how to put a simple text tooltip on a hotspot using "alt" but that is too basic and I need at least an image instead when I put my mouse over the hotspot.

Without an understanding of HTML and CSS, you will find Dreamweaver an uphill struggle.

Scroll to the bottom of the page, and you'll see three links related to Spry tooltips. However, you'll have considerable difficulty implementing anything without a basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Dreamweaver is a professional tool for working with those technologies. It is not the magic wand that some people seem to expect. Spend a little time learning about web technologies, and Dreamweaver will become a joy to work with.

I need help activating CS3 on a new computer

I work for a non-profit and I have had CS3 for 6 years. My computer just died. We were able to install the program on the new computer (Windows 7) and we have the serial number, but the number of activations have been exceeded. I was not able to deactivate my copy before the other machine died. Any help would be appreciated.

Need help with cs3 pro

About 6 months ago I hired a graphic designer to create a
bunch of banner ads for one of my websites. He completed the
initial group and then edited a few changing text and colors. He
then disappeared & left me in the lurch.

I downloaded flash cs3 and started a 30 day trial a few days
ago. All I need to be able to do at this point is change the color
schemes. I have all the finished .gif files and .swf source files.
I am specifically trying to figure out how to change the
color in the outer circle of the James Hanson banner - bottom left
banner in the above link.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

unlock all the layers, and keep clicking that outer circle
until it is editable.. I'm thinking it is under a mask, so when you
unlock all the layers, it will probably be covered by something
else, just hide that layer above it, then you'll be able to
advance.

Need help flash cs3

Hi all,
I have a very basic 5 rotating images with a simple script to link to a company website when a person click on the pictures.
My question is when i have uploaded it onto my website it works for a few days perfectly, then all i get is a white blank square where the flash ad should be. I have to rename the .swf file then upload it again and it works fine again for a few days.
I have other flash ads on my website and they all work fine except for this one. I cant keep changing it every few days as it is driving me crazy.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

By the way if you read pc magazines norton internet security
came 2nd last in the detetion rate! (Luckily for me it came with a
6month trial of kasperspy!! No more norton for me). All the big
brands were at the bottom of the list and ill try to take a pic of
it. So there MIGHT be a virus, who knows?

Just a little claritification, you need to add the value to the variable "[string]$ou", and also change the language in the variable "$emailbody" in the function "Get-ADUserPasswordExpirationDate".

Need help getting Adobe OnLocation CS3 to work with windows 7 64 bit. The program installed ok and the S/N took.
The program does record video and audio HDV M2T.
The problem is video doesn't display or play back on the monitor component @ 16:9 or 720 p. 4:3....
The scopes respond as do the audio components when recording. (with a blank monitor component).
The video does play back on my system no problem.
Any ideas?
