Need Help in french please : Soucis de synchronisation entre Mail et mon BlackBerry
Bonsoir à tous,
J'ai un petit soucis, lorsque j'écris un mail via Mail sur mon MacBook, mon BlackBerry fait une sauvegarde des brouillons à intervalle d'une minute à peu près, ce qui fais que je me retrouve avec plusieurs copies du même mail avec une différence de quelques mots, avant d'avoir le messages definitif (envoyé avec le V a gauche pour me dire que le mail à bien était envoyé), comment remédier à cela ?
J'espère avoir été clair dans mes explications,

je ne connais pas Apple Mail, quel est le fournisseur d'email qui est derière? Je soupçonne un pb dans le choix des répertoires à synchroniser entre le BlackBerry et le fournisseur d'email.

I have need help with something Please respond Quickly ok so i have the linksys wrt54g Version 2.2 and i upgraded the firmware to V4.21.4 from this site http://homesupport.cisco.com/en-us/wireless/lbc/WRT54G and i clicked V2.2 for the router. So after i upgraded i lost internet ability i can't use the internet so i had to downgrade back to V4.21.1 but i want the things that newer update sloves. Please Help. Everything thing says DNS error? aka Modem.

MAC keeps crashing? NEED HELP!! please
i found a previous forum on here that people were having the same issue, but lets just say i need help for dummies. Here is the error message i get when safari crashes:

There is actually a lot more to it but i was just trying to search based on this criteria above. Anyone help? im not the most computer literate, but i have tried simple things like clearing the cache, emptying old bookmarks etc that take up room. any other suggestions? I have safaro version 4.1.3 if that helpshere is the rest of the crash. i still didnt trash anything bc i wasnt sure how/why that would be able to fix it? is this bad?? it happened when i was just on a regular internet browser (ESPN, MSNBC, etc)

Just installed security update 2014-002, now Itunes will not open, I have rebooted twice with no effect, I don't know what else to do to get my itunes back. Need help please
Believe I've firxed my problem, at least, ITunes is now working again. I followed the information provided from a couple of posts on this thread, (1) re restarting with command-s held down; did it twice, made no differerence; (2) manually re-installed the Security update; no difference; each time restarting, no effect; (3) shutdown the computer; I did for 35 minutes, upon restart, ITunes is back to normal, seems to be working fine. Turning the computer off must clear the cache?

IPhone 5 screen wont turn on. (Need help or info, please and thank you.)
So i got an Iphone 5, and i accedently droped it in the sink. i took it out, whipped it off, i put it in my pocket and left it alone.
the next day the screen was not working, moments later, it(Iphon5) turned off. tried turnng it back on but it wouldnt work.
so, again i left it. everything still works, its just that the screen wont turn on, i could still play music snapshot stuff,
but my screen wont tun on.
I NEED HELP.I don't beleive this is a known problem and you should probably bring your phone to a local Genius Bar (make an appointment here) as this is likely a hardware issue (a problem with your phone realizing that you removed it from your ear).
If you're willing to tinker with it a bit, you can determine if this is a software issue by backing up your iPhone (separately ensure your photos, videos and music is backed up) and then "Restore" your phone. If the restoration solves the problem, you're dealing with a software issue. If the problem still exists, you're almost definitely dealing with a hardware issue. -

I need to use windows in order to use Visual C++ for college but I don't have enough space in my internal Hard Drive so I want to install windows 7using boot camp or any other method on a portable hard drive and boot from it.

You can use a VM and put the VM image (VHD) anywhere any drive you want.
You are way too low on disk space, seriously so. And no room - even Windows and Mac OS should be warning and balking already.
"emulator" is an old-school term, even true, running a Guest OS under Mac's as a virtual machine, shared resources (RAM, processor) is easier but not the same performance level as running natively.

i know this has already been discussed but i am technically illiterate and dont understand any of the responses previously made about opening ports- i have no idea what that means or how to do it! i am hoping someone can help me and explain how to solve this issue in simple terms please!!!
My situation is as follows:
my boyfriend and i both just bought macbooks together, v 10.5.2 leopard. we were very excited to try ichat video together. However, we found that we are getting the same error message many people are getting- the error-8. this happens when either one of us tries to initiate the conversation. HOWEVER, when a third person initiated a video chat amongst all 3 of us, we were able to see and hear each other through this 3-person video chat. The two of us have also had no problem using skype video or audio. The internal camera and microphone both seem to be working fine as well.
We both did try to go into system preferences-security-firewall- set specific preferences for applications- and added ichat. we quit out of ichat, and logged back in but we were still unsuccessful at getting video to work.

thank you!!!!!!!!The error you are getting is common when you have a router (wired and wireless) that doesn't work properly with iChat. The problem can be at either end or even both ends of the conversation, due to the equipment that's installed. All internet traffic travels through "ports". There are thousands of ports for specific types of data. Web pages use port 80, mail others, iChat yet others. A firewall is like a honeycomb with some of the holes punched through to let data through, and others blocked with wax. The ports are blocked to protect you from "bad guys" who are trying to get in and take over your machine for their own purposes.
Home routers come with a service called NAT firewall. It is usually turned on by default and will block all but the most common ports to the Internet (these can be disabled, but it's fairly dangerous to do so). Since the hardware router blocks the ports, it doesn't matter what you set your software firewall to accept. The incoming data doesn't get that far. Some routers will automatically open the proper ports when they are requested by a program like iChat, but many do not open them automatically and have to have the ports manually opened and forwarded to a computer.
Setting ports and port-forwarding can be a daunting task. You'll either need to find a 'techie' friend who understands how to set up your routers for special services, or get a router that is certified by Apple to work with iChat.

Apple does support their products, and you can get an Employee at an Apple Store to help you set up one of their devices.
Note: All of my post assumes you have routers that are separate from your modem. If your broadband provider has sold or leased you a modem/router combo unit you will need to get more information (and possibly hardware) to proceed. -

some of my albums have various artists. i cant get them to show up as 1 album it shows as an album for every song. can anyone help me please?
another problem i am having is my album artwork does not show up when I insert a cd to rip. I am also having trouble with the itunes suddenly getting all garbled up so i cant even see the screen untill I close itunes and open it back up. grrrr!! i sold my Zune to get this ipod touch and am wondering if I have made a mistake.

Carriaccording to you we are on the same page here. When you rip a regular cd into itunes, it does not have the album artwork engrained into the song file. This is just an example, Say you ripped a Metallica cd into itunes such as "Master of Puppets." The song on the album "Disposable Heroes" will not have the album artwork with it.
You need to get an apple account, just go to the itunes store and sign up. After you do that you can click on one of the songs from the album you ripped. Right click it, and go to the choice "get album artwork". itunes will automatically modify the artwork for all the songs on that album. That is it. I may have a post later on your other problems. Ask me if you don't fully understand what i said. -
