Need help in OS command problem in File adapter.
Hi All,
In channel configuration, I configured "run operating system command before message processing" with shell file. But,I foundnd that every time I change the shell file, it won't take effect until I restart PI system. So, could you please tell me whether there is way to avoid this or give a solution of this?
It is relaly very very yrgent for me.

Dear Prakash,
Even you have changed the shell file, but the CPA cache used in runtime
remains unupdated. Restarting PI system or performing CPA cache refresh
manually can trigger CPA cache refresh, but you can try a simple way:
You can do dummy change in communication channel configuration in
Integration Directory(for example, add a space mark in description field
in channel configuration and activate the change list), then a cache
refresh is triggered.

1. This procedure is a diagnostic test. It changes nothing, for better or worse, and therefore will not, in itself, solve the problem. But with the aid of the test results, the solution may take a few minutes, instead of hours or days.
Don't be put off merely by the seeming complexity of these instructions. The process is much less complicated than the description. You do harder tasks with the computer all the time.
2. If you don't already have a current backup, back up all data before doing anything else. The backup is necessary on general principle, not because of anything in the test procedure. Backup is always a must, and when you're having any kind of trouble with the computer, you may be at higher than usual risk of losing data, whether you follow these instructions or not.
There are ways to back up a computer that isn't fully functional. Ask if you need guidance.
3. Below are instructions to run a UNIX shell script, a type of program. All it does is to collect information about the state of the computer. That information goes nowhere unless you choose to share it. However, you should be cautious about running any kind of program (not just a shell script) at the behest of a stranger. If you have doubts, search this site for other discussions in which this procedure has been followed without any report of ill effects. If you can't satisfy yourself that the instructions are safe, don't follow them. Ask for other options.
Here's a summary of what you need to do, if you choose to proceed:
Copy a line of text in this window to the Clipboard.
Paste into the window of another application.
Wait for the test to run. It usually takes a few minutes.
Paste the results, which will have been copied automatically, back into a reply on this page.
The sequence is: copy, paste, wait, paste again. You don't need to copy a second time. Details follow.
4. You may have started the computer in "safe" mode. Preferably, these steps should be taken in “normal” mode, under the conditions in which the problem is reproduced. If the system is now in safe mode and works well enough in normal mode to run the test, restart as usual. If you can only test in safe mode, do that.
5. If you have more than one user, and the one affected by the problem is not an administrator, then please run the test twice: once while logged in as the affected user, and once as an administrator. The results may be different. The user that is created automatically on a new computer when you start it for the first time is an administrator. If you can't log in as an administrator, test as the affected user. Most personal Macs have only one user, and in that case this section doesn’t apply. Don't log in as root.
6. The script is a single long line, all of which must be selected. You can accomplish this easily by triple-clicking anywhere in the line. The whole line will highlight, though you may not see all of it in the browser window, and you can then copy it. If you try to select the line by dragging across the part you can see, you won't get all of it.

Copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C.
7. Launch the built-in Terminal application in any of the following ways:
Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Terminal in the icon grid.
Click anywhere in the Terminal window and paste by pressing command-V. The text you pasted should vanish immediately. If it doesn't, press the return key.
8. If you see an error message in the Terminal window such as "syntax error," enter
exec bash
and press return. Then paste the script again.
9. If you're logged in as an administrator, you'll be prompted for your login password. Nothing will be displayed when you type it. You will not see the usual dots in place of typed characters. Make sure caps lock is off. Type carefully and then press return. You may get a one-time warning to be careful. If you make three failed attempts to enter the password, the test will run anyway, but it will produce less information. In most cases, the difference is not important. If you don't know the password, or if you prefer not to enter it, press the key combination control-C or just press return three times at the password prompt. Again, the script will still run.
If you're not logged in as an administrator, you won't be prompted for a password. The test will still run. It just won't do anything that requires administrator privileges.
10. The test may take a few minutes to run, depending on how many files you have and the speed of the computer. A computer that's abnormally slow may take longer to run the test. While it's running, there will be nothing in the Terminal window and no indication of progress. Wait for the line
[Process completed]
to appear. If you don't see it within half an hour or so, the test probably won't complete in a reasonable time. In that case, close the Terminal window and report the results. No harm will be done.
11. When the test is complete, quit Terminal. The results will have been copied to the Clipboard automatically. They are not shown in the Terminal window. Please don't copy anything from there. All you have to do is start a reply to this comment and then paste by pressing command-V again.
At the top of the results, there will be a line that begins with the words "Start Time." If you don't see that, but instead see a mass of gibberish, you didn't wait for the "Process completed" message to appear in the Terminal window. Please wait for it and try again.
If any private information, such as your name or email address, appears in the results, anonymize it before posting. Usually that won't be necessary.
12. When you post the results, you might see the message, "You have included content in your post that is not permitted." It means that the forum software has misidentified something in the post as a violation of the rules. If that happens, please post the test results on Pastebin, then post a link here to the page you created.

If you are using Windows Vista go to All Programs/Palm and click on the folder and select Hot Sync Manager and then try to sync with the USB cable. If you are using the Windows XP go to Start/Programs/Palm/Hot Sync Manager and then try to sync. If you don’t have the palm folder at all on your PC you have to install it. I need help in resolving a problem that prevents me from accessing the iTunes store. Message reads " iTunes cannot contact the iTunes store" and also says that my laptop is no longer authorized to access my account. Help!
Go up to the top of your screen on iTunes and click on 'Store'. Then go down to 'Authorize This Computer'. That should cover part of it unless you've already authorized a bunch of other computers to use your account. If that's the case, you'll have to go to one of those computers and click the button just below it to 'deauthorize your account' from that computer. I need help on the below problem..
I've 2 Schemas called
1. MAXIMO and DBLink is GQMFOF
2. GQMMGR adn DBLink is MAXFOFNC
Now i would likw to retrive the data from both the schemas,
i.e some columns from WORKORDER table of maximo schema and some columns from ESTIMATE_HEADER table
of GQMMGR schema..
I'm trying to get the data using DB links, but it is giving TABLE/VIEW doesn't exist.
Please help me on this.

We r facing typical problem with file adapter.
Lets say there are 30 files to be processed by placing an copy in arichive folder by file adapter based on pooling
parameters.
All the 30 files are picked up and we can see the copies in archive folder.
But when we go to RWB and check the audit log,
there we could see only 25 files , the 5 files are missing.
no trace found therre about the 5 files.
This is happening only some times and not to all the files placed in the FTP. Later when the same file is placed back from the Archive folder to the Source folder, the file is being picked and processed succesfully.
unfortunately this is happening on Production server
Any pointers which could trouble shoot this issue.

Couple of thing which you can try....
1. Use EOIO QoS and check if you still face the issue.
Is some program or application writing files to the directory? If yes I would recommend the use of a temporary name to write the files and then rename them.
Sometimes when an external application connects via FTP and transfers the files...
The file could be picked up by the adapter poll even before the transfer of data is done.
Which is why you will find that the file is archived but there is no xml message created for the same in the Integration engine.
Try increasing the poll interval. This helps sometimes.

Need help with a simple process with FTP Adapter and File Adapter
I am trying out a simple BPEL process that gets a file in opaque mode from a FTP server using a FTP adapter and writes it to the local file system using a File Adapter. However, the file written is always empty (zero bytes). I then tried out the FTPDebatching sample using the same FTP server JNDI name and this work fine surprisingly. I also verified by looking at the FTP server logs that my process actually does hit the FTP server and seems to list the files based on the filtering condition - but it does not issue any GET or RETR commands to actually get the files. I am suspecting that the problem could be in the Receive, Assign or Invoke activities, but I am not able identify what it is.
I can provide additional info such as the contents of my bpel and wsdl files if needed.
Would appreciate if someone can help me with this at the earliest.

I used List Directory on advanced IO , to list all .. the Name is the same for all ... then i used Name_ concateneted with Serial(typed)* .. this command serial* ll list all serials equal the typed , in my case , ll exist only one , cuz its a count this serial .Then i pass the path to the delete , and its done !

Need help to Configure FTPS connection for File Sender Adapter
Hi,
I want to Configure, FTPS connection (Secured Connection) for File Sender Adapter. Could anyone please guide me, what Information I require to configure. I just want to know what Information should I request the team inorder the configure FTPS so that it can be deployed properly.
I have checked with [SAP Help Link|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/EN/e3/94007075cae04f930cc4c034e411e1/content.htm] and while configuring the communication channel found that I need Keystore and the X.509 Certificate and Private Key. which needs to be deployed on the J2EE server by using the Visual Administrator.
Is there anything else, I need to configure.
Any help would be appreciated in this regard.

Varun.KThe basic things are Certificate/Keys which you already know. Usually it is enough for running a sceanrio.
However, if you have additional requirements, like FTPS for "Connection Security" for encryption, then you may need additional details like commands. Rest all settings are same as FTP.

Outside that, if you plan on accessing anything inside the SWF you should be loading the SWF into the correct context. Relevant sample code:

If you're doing this on iOS you'll need to stripped SWFs if you plan on using any coding (ABC) inside the files. You mentioned iOS so I won't get into that here, but just incase, here's info on stripping external SWFs:

ThanksIt will help if you have a look at Note:211909.1 in Metalink to understand why ORA-07445
Then have a look at the content of the trace files. e.g /oracle/ABBA1/system/dump/udump/ABBA1_ora_65536.trc to see if you can pick anything from the 'Current SQL statement' you will see in it (get help from Note:154170.1). This will at least give you an idea what SQL is causing the problem.
If they are your own application SQLs, then try to see if your team can fix the code. If they are System related or you cannot figure out what it is (even if it is from your own SQLs), I would suggest log a TAR with Oracle Support. -

First design and implement a class called PairOfDice, composed of two six-sided Die objects. Using the PairOfDice class, design and implement a class to play a game called Pig. In this game, the user competes against the computer. On each turn, the current player rolls a pair of dice and accumulates points. The goal is to reach 100 points before your opponent does. If, on any turn, the player rolls a 1, all points accumulated for that round are forfeited and control of the dice moves to the other player. If the player rolls two 1s in one turn, the player loses all points accumulated thus far in the game and loses control of the dice. The player may voluntarily turn over the dice after each roll. Therefore the player must decide to either roll again (be a pig) and risk losing points, or relinquish control of the dice, possibly allowing the other player to win. Implement the computer player such that it always relinquishes the dice after accumulating 20 or more points in any given round.
I realize this is a long code, so it would be greatly appreciated to anyone who writes this one for me, or can at least give me any parts of it. I honestly have no clue how to do this because our professor is a dumbass and just expects us to know how to do this...he doesn't teach us this stuff...don't ask. If you are genuine, the program is very easy to write, so, your Professor is correct when he said you should
be able to do it. I'm still very much in the beginner category at java, and it took me only 20 mins to write
(+5 mins to design it on paper). 2 classes in one file < 100 lines. Most of the regulars here would do it in half the time / half the lines.
All of the clues are in the description, break them down into their various if / else conditions. Write it down on paper.
Have a go. Try to achieve something. Post what you've tried, no-one will laugh at you, and you will be
pleasanty surprised at the level of help you will get when you've "obviously" made some effort.
Again, have a go. If you don't like problem-solving, then you don't like programming. So, you gotta ask
yourself - "what am I doin' here?" -
