This is Krishna, i have done my SAP Business one Certification , here my problem is when i go a client to out source SAP B1 he need some demo on SAP B1 , because we have to satisfy with our demo.
i need some guidance in preparing the Demonstration. Please help me.

Do you have to create a demo? do you have everything installed on your machine in order to create it?

Check whether you have any enhancement option (BADI, user exit, Customer enhancement etc) in the program which is used to save the data in the SAP standard table. If so, then try to write your code in that appropriate enhancement.

can any one tell me clear procedure to take both daily online and weekend full offline backup of oracle in to disk first and then to tape. i have seen in the internet material few discussing about brbackup and few about sap DB13. i am totally confused which one to use, and which is good. please help

welcome on board as SAP Netweaver guy,
don't be confused both DB13 and BRtools are the same both of them will call brbackup.
to configure the brtools you have to change in your brtools profiles located at %ORACLE_HOME%/dbs
please before changing any thing take backup from that folder.
- to take the backup to disk then to tape you will need extra backup software, because using the SAP slandered tools you have to select either Disk or Tape.

Need help in getting a report from SAP!

I'm in charge of a manufacturing operation. I need your help to find a report of OPEN PLANNED ORDERS. I'm using spreadsheets to control the production but I need to get this information from SAP directly. NO MORE EXCEL!!!

you may not be able to avoid the excel part, but I guess it is worth a try. Take a look at using a query tool to look at the table name PLAF, you could additionally join this table to MAKT for the full material description and perhaps VBAK if you need sales order related header data which may be tied to your planned orders

I need help getting minecraft demo to play on Mountain Lion.

I have tried many many times to get the demo for minecraft to play on my computer and keep getting the same error report. I switched over to windows and it worked just fine there so I'm pretty sure the problem is Mountain Lion and not the whole computer. I've been looking all over the place for a solution and keep seeing that I need to go to system preferences and security and privacy and go tell it to open stuff from anywhere, and I've tried that, three times, and it still won't work. So now I'm going to post the crash report here and see if anyone can give me a different solution because that one, which seems to work for absolutely everyone else, does diddly-squat for me. Thank you in advance if you can help me fix this.

I believe you will have to "convert" the movie to H264 or something like that. A free program such as HandBrake will do this job. Or you can let iTunes convert it for you. However, you should be warned that iTunes takes a LONG time to convert a movie. A fast convert will probably take all night and then some. I would go with HandBrake

Need help on SSO of Portal with SAP UCES.

I am trying to find some documents/methodologies to establish single sign on between Utility Customer E-Servive (UCES) and SAP Enterprise Portal 7.0.
UCES is a SAP Provided solution for Utility customers which provides a web front end for customers to check meter reading, intermediate billing, move-ins and move-outs etc. I beleive it also runs on WAS 6.4/7.0 and is Java based.
Just an URL iView is not enough since it would again ask for password.
I have thought of integration approach as with a Java application, but for that I need the loging module code of UCES which is not available.
Did anyone faced similar scenarios? Please help. A detailed explaination would be appreciated.

Oracle SQL Newbie need help with OE Demo Schema Installation

Hello everybody !
I'm hoping some kind soul can help out this SQL newbie.
First of all i've installed 10g R2 database on a PC running XP SP2.
Oracle is installed on the root C: drive
I'm using the SQL Fundamentals I Exam Guide and DBA Handbook (Both Oracle Press)
as my reference.
My problem is this.
I installed the DB and created the demo HR schema without too much problem
but it's the demo OE schema i'm having problems getting running and cannot
find anywhere on the net that outlines a step by step SQL process.
I am using SQL Plus to execute these commands.
My questions are these:
-For the default tablespace i specify "users" ?
-What do i specify for the temporary tablespace ? "temp" ?
-what directory path do i put for the data files as parameter 6 ?
I put down "C:\oracle\product\10.2.0\db_1\demo\schema\order_entry" but i suspect it's
the wrong thing ?
-What do i specify for the writable directory path for the log files ?
Is it C:\oracle\product\10.2.0\RDBMS\log
-And what is "Specify version as parameter 8:" line ?
I assumed it was the db version but i believe it's wrong.
Could somebody please help me ? I've already done my CCNA and i wanted to add oracle under my belt.
I know if i had these few things cleared up for me it would pave the way to actually enjoying learning Oracle :)

I installed the DB products from the companion disk and there was no specific mention of the demo schemas. Regardless... They're all there within the demo subfolder and have already created the hr schema.. I just need somebody (I'll pay if necessary) to PLEASE just answer (what would be easy to you guys my questions so i can move on.

Like i can figure out that the "version in parameter 8" has something to do with the coe, poe & loe files

I was came across similar condition few years back, I guess you need to change the data type or else call a PERFORM from your sap script if it is custom.

Im uploading an excel file from presentation server to SAP...
Now the problem is hw to know how many records are there in the excel file..
Have coded like below...

But the problem is sometimes the file may contain lesser records say 10000 records even then also the while ..endwhile executes to check the last record( until 65536 records)..

before reading your file you want to know how many rows are there in excel file. put this code here.

Need help for the message flow in sap xi system?

Hello All,
My requirement is some wat different............in the existing production system the message flow is 3500 per hour......... now we want to develop new scenario and the message flow will be 8500 message per hour.
Client is not giving me the system details ...like network details and i need to say that can we send 8500 messages in the existing system with out changing the process speed or data base.
also please advice the best ways to increase the performance in the sap xi system when the message flow is huge.

3500 to 8500 is not a message count tht needs to be worried about
but to be on the safer side what is the average size of a single message?

Try to find it thru OKP (Online knowledge Products), Ofcoures this is paid but less when compared to direct class. Also, help.sap.com is the only best source for you to get material for certification.
