Need help in Solution Manager System Monitoring-activating Instance Status

I would like to use System Monitoring with Solution Manager.
The agents CCMSPING and SAPCCM4X are installed on the monitored system and CCMS is configured
I've already created a solution and a logical component. Now i would like to activate Instance Status in the tree when i enter in Setup System Monitoring .... but i get a red alert an the following Message Instance status is no performance alert. Thresholds have been deleted ... how can i activate this Instance Status?
I am going my first steps in SAP SolMan and tried to solve this problem but i had no success. Can someone please help me? What i am doing wrong?

Need help in Solution Manager for preparing for Career in SM

Hi Gurus,
This is Amit Choudhary here,i am in SAP BW and and new to SM,so wants to work in Solution manager as i got chance to work with EWA reports and found this is quite interesting so, is there any one can help me in learning more about SM so that i can get onto right track.

SAP Service Support Portal provide several information on SAP Solution Manager for customers. It requires an "S-User" for access.

Need help with Business One Certification

Hello,
I need help preparing for the B1 certification. I have taken the test once already and failed. I found it very tricky with multiple correct answers for each question.
I have gone thru the eLearning several times now. And this week I am taking the instructor led training. I have also purchased and studied the Ebook. I have a good grasp of the product, but I feel that this is not enough to help prepare for the test.
I want to know if there are any other resources I could use to help prepare for the test. Are there any practice exams

when I was studying for the 2007 certfication I found the info in the DRC & the ETSs very good.
Channel Partner Portal -> Solutions -> SAP Business One -> Solution Overview -> Additional Resources -> Documentation Resource Centre
There was also a lot of info on the Landing pages:
Channel Partner Portal -> Solutions -> SAP Business One -> Hot Topics-> SAP Business One 2007 information centre -> lots of links to individual landing pages, pdfs etc.

Prerequisites for Solution Manager Certification

Dear Experts,
I want to do certification in Solution Manager (C_PM_70). I checked in https://training.sap.com/ae/en/certification/c_pm_70-sap-certified-associate-project-manager-g?hash=schedule#competencies.
They have provided Primary Skill List. Can any one please explain to me the detailed process for attaining this certification.
Do I have to complete all the skill sets provided in the link?
Also please let me know from where I can download materials.

I need an urgent assistence if any buddy can help me I would be very great full, I am receiving an error during the installation of SAP ERP 2004 SR1 IDES, ABAP system central instance as for this I have to give a key to SAPINST which I generated from Solution Manager 4.0 I striclty followed the same step which is defined in SAPNote 811923. But the SAPINST not accepting the key it gives me an error "SAP Solution manager key is invalid ".
So guys any idea how can I get rid of this

Hi Syed,
the installation asks you for 'central SAP system' which must match the string for 'message server' when generating the key in solution manager exactly. maybe you can double check if you used the correct hostname (not FQDN) and made no typo?...

Just a small doubt is there any substanial difference in SMI310_04 and SMI310_06 material.
If somebody is appearing for SAP solution manager 4.0 certification , then in that case can referening SMI310_04 would be sufficient or SMI310_06 is a must as
certification url its showing the required is SMI310_06 .
Please revert back ASAP...
and If somebody is having SMI310_06 please help me out in sorting this confusion...its urgent and can forward me the same at :[email protected]

I've tried to get to some Sample Questions here on Forum, but I couldn't get any.
I passed an exam on 14.11.2006 and I suggest to you to use course materials as suggested by SAP (SMI310). That is sufficient to pass the certificate. All the answers are there.
My general opinion: not easyYou have to be pretty much concentrated as there were questions put in negative expressions.You have to be really, really carefull.
They are taking a lot of details on subjects like Type of projects (Template projects, Roll out implementations, customer satisfaction) including its Roadmaps. (e.g. roll-out project phases and its content.)
I only saw 3 or 4 questions familiar to me (from Test your knowledge, SMI310 book), others were really related to course materials but spoken in their own words

It is asking Solution manager key in between the XI 7.0 installation.
But i don't have Solution manager s/w.
How can i solve with out having Solution manager key.
I saw in this forum that some one can generate who has solution manager s/w installed, for me.

Help! Solution Manager removing documents

I'm new to Solution Manager and I have something very strange going on. Whenever a document is signed as complete in acceptance review as soon as it is saved it disappears from the business process it was stored under. If I find the document it still exists in Solution Manager but it is not associated to anything. If I try where used I get the message "No usages for the document found" If I look at the history for the business process it says the document was removed.
Noit sure what to do. Anyone's help would be greatly appreciated.

When you upload a document and store it then press the save button in solar02 top row it will sav ur doc
next
if doc is there and not shown this happen if som1 press "-" minus button which removes the link from the project for this doc
but it is still stored in KW which solman uses
so if doc is to be removed then press Delete button

Solution Manager Certification -- Change Control Management

I am planning to do the certification test on "Application Management Expert - Change Control Management" , C_E2E200_08.
I am looking for sample questions or any study tips.

Please do the following checks.
1) Check if the satellite system TMS is configured with three system landscape.
2) Check both to and back RFCs to the systems. Especially check if the users are not locked. Even if the users are locked, the RFC check may give you green.
3) Go to central configuration(/TMWFLOW/cmsconf) in Solution Manager system and check if the system are shown green.. If not there will be a check list to make the systems green. For example no changes should be permitted in the production system.
