NEED HELP!! Installed new harddrive

I went from my 20 gig hard drive to an 80 gig. The ibook worked fine when I disconnected it and when i went to go turn the laptop on after I installed the 80gb harddrive, it doesnt seem to work. When I click the power button, the LED light only goes on for like a second.. now the ibook doesnt do anything. the old 20gb hard drive doesnt even work now. SOMEONE HELP!!
p.s.. is there a reset button or something???
ibook duel usb   Mac OS X (10.4)   new harddrive (no system yet, but will have 10.4)

It would be good if you could tell us which model iBook you have. Identify it from this Apple Knowledge Base article:

It could be that it is too new a model to have a physical reset button. In that case, you need to use the key combination to reset the PMU as described in this Apple Knowledge Base article:

For iBook (16 VRAM) and later models of iBook, there is no physical reset button.
If the computer is on, turn it off.
Reset the power manager by simultaneously pressing and then releasing Shift-Control-Option-Power on the keyboard. Do not press the fn (Function) key while using this combination of keystrokes.
Wait 5 seconds.
Press the Power button to restart the iBook computer.
