NEED HELP - Issues syncing iPhone 3G

Please Help.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I have been unable to sync my almost 2 year old iPhone 3G for the past two weeks. I constantly get an error message stating it can't be synced since the required disk can't be found.
I've deleted everything off my phone once and restored it twice.
I've reset the phone to factory options.
I've deleted programs it had trouble syncing

The iPhone 3G can only be updated to version 4.2.1
Hopefully you created a backup. Open iTunes on your computer. From the iTunes menu bar click iTunes > Preferences then select the Devices tab.
If you see a backup stored there, then you can restore without losing data, apps, music, etc. If not, you will have to restore to default settings.

You've posted to the iTunes Match forum, which your question does not appear to be related to. You'll get better support responses by posting to either the iTunes for Mac or iTunes for Windows forum. Which ever is more appropriate for your situation.

I'm glad to hear that I'm not the only person struggling with exact issue. I've rebooted, upgraded, re-installed, pulled all my hair out as nothing works.
The biggest dissapointment with this thread is that nobody seems to have responded with a solution.
And yes I've managed to pull together enough intellegence to tick the box "sync to outlook" in iTunes - still nothing man.
Definately does not sync from phone to PC and is very hit and miss on PC to Phone. In other words now running 2 seperate calendars - Not helpful Jan.

Connect iPhone to your computer. Use the Lightning to USB Cable (iPhone 5 or later) or 30-pin the other device.

Hello, I need help on my iphone 3gs won't turn on. I was travel to Asian when I charge my iphone with the USB Power Adapter about 10-20 mins and then when I check on how many percent on battery then I hear sound on the adapter. I think is shock circuit on the Power Adapter then my iphone shut down. I try to turn on but it won't turn on.when I try used another charge but still don't work. What should I do.

You either pay Apple to do it (usually you will get a replacement refurbished phone). Make sure to BACK IT UP first before taking it in. Plug into a computer that has the latest iTunes, do a sync and confirm the existence of the backup in iTunes / Preferences / Devices. If they give you a replacement, plug it back into the same computer and do a Restore to recover your stuff.

If the iPhone was hacked and unlocked via unofficial means, it has become locked again. Insert original SIM in the phone to activate with iTunes.

Only the carrier it is locked to can authorize unlocking it. Sounds like the phone was hacked to unlock it originally. Find out what carrier it is locked to, and look up their contact information using google or the search engine of your choice.
