Hey guys I need some help with an effect in a video I saw and I was thinking maybe someone here would know which effect this is.
So it's the effect that occurs after 10 sec.

What effect after 10 seconds? There's a scale/jitter effect then an over exposure effect with fades to black and there's a blue light streak? You mentioned brush strokes so I think it's the light streak.
For that you can use Beam, or small solids stacked on top of each other with various blurs and blend modes set to Add or Screen and a lens flair, or a half dozen different particle effects, or . . .
Catch a still frame and show us what you're trying to achieve and we can help more.

The most immediate thing you need to do is to call your credit card company and report the unauthorized charges. Your card company can contact Apple if they need additional information.
Next, log into your iTunes Store account and see if the purchases are reflected in the Purchase History. If they are, immediately change the password to your iTunes Store account, making sure it's not something easily guessed or looked up. Then go here:
http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/
and follow the instructions to report the issue to the iTunes Store. Whether or not they'll do anything for you I don't know, particularly if you didn't change the password after your iPod was stolen.
If the charges are not reflected in the Purchase History, then it's most likely a fraudulent charge to your credit card directly rather than an unauthorized purchase through your iTunes Store account in which case it will be up to your bank to handle.

by seeing the short description, u need to know which exit is suitable, its just a trial and error method.
the requirement u r telling seems to be like field exit.
u need to take help from basis guy to register first.

You have an 24" Early 2008 iMac. It came with Mac OS X 10.5, and you would need the disk set for your specific model. It's possible that if you call Apple Support, they can still sell you a set, but that model of iMac is no longer supported by Apple so Support may not be able to help. If not, then you'll need to look to private sellers or companies that sell obsolete software.
You can also call the online Apple Store and purchase a retail copy of Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard.

Need to know which upgrade to purchase

I'm staggered that Adobe makes it this difficult to even get advice.
I have been using Photoshop CS3 on a MacbookPro. I recently upgraded (was upgraded!) to Mavericks.
Now Photoshop CS3 no longer works (of course).
I need to know which product to purchase as an upgrade that WILL work. I can't find any sales number to call to ask, or any way to chat with sales personnel. I find a forum to be an extraordinarily time-consuming way to ask what is probably the simplest question out there.

Downgrade Lion/Mountain Lion to Snow Leopard
1. Boot from your Snow Leopard Installer Disc. After the installer
      loads select your language and click on the Continue
      button. When the menu bar appears select Disk Utility from the
      Utilities menu.
2. After DU loads select your hard drive (this is the entry with the
      mfgr.'s ID and size) from the left side list. Note the SMART status
      of the drive in DU's status area. If it does not say "Verified" then
      the drive is failing or has failed and will need replacing. SMART
      info will not be reported on external drives. Otherwise, click on
      the Partition tab in the DU main window.
3. Under the Volume Scheme heading set the number of partitions
      from the drop down menu to one. Set the format type to Mac OS
      Extended (Journaled.) Click on the Options button, set the
      partition scheme to GUID then click on the OK button. Click on
      the Partition button and wait until the process has completed.
4. Quit DU and return to the installer. Install Snow Leopard.
This will erase the whole drive so be sure to backup your files if you don't have a backup already. If you have performed a TM backup using Lion be aware that you cannot restore from that backup in Snow Leopard (see below.) I suggest you make a separate backup using Carbon Copy Cloner.
If you have Snow Leopard Time Machine backups made while on Snow Leopard, then you may do a full system restore per #14 in Time Machine - Frequently Asked Questions. If you have subsequent backups from Lion, you can restore newer items selectively, via the "Star Wars" display, per #15 there, but be careful; some Snow Leopard apps may not work with the Lion/Mountain Lion files.

Need help on which router to buy for my BB 8320

Now i know 8320 is dated but at this point i am not planning to change anytime soon .
So I have a router which is kinda old, it didnt really occur to me since it worked. When i got my bb 8320 i was in a hotel and i could connect through their wireless without any hassle. I could surf, use youtube, name it.

NEED HELP WITH SOLARIZING EFFECT!

So I am editing my final film project at the moment on FCP, and I need to know how to make the solarizing video filter do a few specific things. I need to make it look like the effect is SLOWLY CREEPING INTO THE CLIP and not just simply BOOM, THERE! And then on the following clip, I'd like it if my actors remained in regular color, as they were, and for only the BACKGROUND behind them to have the soarized filter.
Does anybody know how to do this at all? It would be a tremendous help to me as right now the effect honestly looks a bit silly! Thanks, I really appreciate it a lot!

Create a next of all of your finished sequence. Pull two copies fo the next into a new sequence, on on top of the other (you only need audio from one of them). One copy of your sequence does not have the filter, the other does. Create a wipe or another transition or use a motion track matte to add the effect. Using an animated track matte you can have the solarization effect selectively applied to any location on the screen.
If this is a big part of your finished school project, you may want to have Plan B ready to go. You may not be able to get what you think you want without exploring several special effects design functions that you apparently have not covered in class.

Need Help with setting up this Filter

Hi,
I need help making a filter sound like the one used in this youtube song.
I tried setting it up but I've had no success; even though I know for a fact that this filter was made in Logic Pro 9 according to the maker of this song.
I think there might be a bit of 'Fuzz-Wah' in there too but I've never really used that effect so any tips on that would be great, too.

It sounds like a simple hi Q filter sweep to me but getting close to the original synth sound that it is being used on is the challenge. It might well be that it is the filter on the synth itself is what is being swept. Either way, turn up the filter resonance on a band pass filter and sweep it with the lfo or adsr to modulate the filter cutoff if its the synth filter, or automate the filter frequency sweep if you use the channel filter.

Is this a common problem with LCD Monitors?
What is this display issue called?
Is this fixable? If so, how?
I know this is a monitor issue because I've tried many troubleshoots.
Please answer my questions above, I don't prefer replacing my monitor yet. Also, I couldn't take screenshots because the lines or dots don't appear to other users so I used a camera.
Blue lines or dots in some areas. I think they are consistent in bright areas. Captured from my background wallpaper. Pink lines or dots in what I suspect dark areas. Captured from a game (League of Legends)
