Need help laptop has rolling reboots

I have a satelite M115-s1051. I checked on the toshiba website before ordering 2 - 1GB sodimms. When i got them and installed them the laptop wouldnt respond. it just starts up them at post it reboots and keeps repeating the cycle. the monitor never lights up. if i use only 1 it will work fine. it even work with the 512 it came with and 1gb.
anyone have any suggestions.

You say you 'checked' on the Toshiba website, but what memory did you actually buy? If it is from Toshiba, then you need to be talking with them about the problem. If you just bought any old memory according to the description on the Toshiba website then you probably bought incompatible memory.

I have the same problem; tried a phone restore, both restoring data and setting up as new phone with factory settings, reset all settings, re-boot, remove apostrophe, put in fridge, you name it!
I think there's quite a few iphone 4s users with the same problem!
I called Apple they said it's a hardware problem, but it has worked for nearly two years; they say go to the Apple store and they can provide a replacement phone for approx. £150!
I've been into the O2 shop where I bought it and they knew the problem exactly; said they had sent a few phones off for repair and had them back awith a report they cannot fix it because it's a software problem!
An assistant in the shop had the same issues; logic says it's a software problem and hopefully Apple will fix it with a patch but at the moment they seem to be avoiding everyones comments!
If anyone else has any ideas these would be appreciated?

E2500 Portforwarding - Need Help - Mystery has puzzled 20+ On Teamviewer

I am having a bit of trouble and am looking for the help of any expert. I have been everywhere, called everyone, and team viewed with many people. No one can seem to figure out my problem. I am trying to portforward ports for online gaming.
The two particular ones are runescape private servers, port 43594, and minecraft, port 25565.
I have a linksys e2500 router
I am currently with S&T telecommunications for my internet service. I have called them to see if they block any protocols or ports by default. They sounded pretty clueless but assured me that they do not.
My OS is Windows 7
I have followed portforwarding tutorials on how to forward these ports, followed tutorials on how to add exceptions into my Windows 7 firewall, and so on. I have pretty much exhausted all options. I have went to canyouseeme and every time I get the error code "Reason, Connection timed out"
If anyone has any new ideas or would like to aid in figuring out this mystery which has stumped me and many others, feel free to give it a shot

You could call them, but more than likely your modem is already in bridge mode if it's not a router.
Try these steps.
1. Reset linksys to factory defaults by pressing and holding reset button for 15 seconds
2. Reconfigure your linksys
3. Go to firewall tab on linksys and uncheck the box "filter anonymous internet requests"
4. Go to E2500 settings and use DHCP reservations
(Also make sure your computers are set to receive an IP address automaticly from the DHCP server)

5. go to windows firewall and double check that the port exceptions are correct
6. forward the ports on the router to the appropriate ip address
7. reboot your router and computers
8. test with pfportchecker
The above steps are what I do and I don't have any problem opening ports on a linksys router

I was working on a site for several hours, on the desktop mode of my windows 8 computer. suddenly, when i tried to load 1 more map it said I needed to have adobe installed. i have spent an hour in viscious circles of your websites tellingme that it comes with the flash player (as obviously it has been working for 7 months) but i need to do an update, then another page says i don't need an update and it won't take me to a place i can get one anyway. i do not have IE 10 and don't want it. what the heck am i supposed to do to get my map page back????????????????????????????????????????????????????

Came with flash player, and it was working for 7 months. now not so. because adobe apparently hasn’t caught up with W8, it doesn’t detect that a player is installed at all.

Need help: Acrobat has disabled Preview

Previously, whenever I clicked on a pdf file in Safari, the file would download to a specified folder and it would open with Preview. Recently, I made the TERRIBLE mistake of installing Acrobat and then uninstalled it. But now when I click on a pdf link in Safari, nothing happens. Nothing downloads and nothing opens. Somehow Acrobat has damaged the link between Safari and Preview and I can't seem to fix it. Has anyone encountered this? Can anyone help???

Piggy-backing on colin's suggestion of Firefox, Camino has an almost identical interface as Safari and you should be very comfortable in it. It offers security features, like Firefox's Adblock, that are easier to use and more automated. I use it along with Firefox, and almost never use Safari anymore. Downlown and try it. It's free, if it does what you want, that's all that matters.

Need help fixing jittery rolling credits for 23.98 sequence

I'm working on an DVC PRO HD project shot 23.98, 960x720. I'm working native 23.98 in Final Cut Pro 5.1.4 and am trying to do a credit roll with both centered text lines, and justified text with the gap running down the middle.
I've created the text template in photoshop and imported into FCP. After applying the motion settings, the file renders out just fine in 29.97 but low and behold, when I do the same motion settings in my 23.98 sequence, the text is jittery as all... Bad artifacts and strobbing.
I tried using the Photoshop file in Motion and Live Type using the unrendered file project in FCP. Tried rendering 23.98 in After Effects. No go. Same ugly results.
Tried the usual in FCP-- appying de-interlace, flicker filter, shift fields, changing the length of the roll and also adjusting the motion points... no help at all. Tried using a smooth rolling exported 29.97 media file into the 23.98. Echk!
I'm running MacPro 2.66 w/ 3GB Ram. Also have the KonaLHe hooked up to my NTSC for preview.

Yep, tried all that too. Changed keyframe positions, also changed length of the clip. Who knows... maybe never hit the right configuration. I ended up laying the show off to 29.97 and insert editing the 29.97 credit roll. Worked out perfectly although I'm still miffed nothing seemed to work in 23.98 land for smooth credit rolls. Thanks for the help.

Alright so I need help - Pod has music but computer has none

Alright so here's the 411. My ipod has an approximate 1100 songs on it. My previous laptop broke down so I had to get a new one, with an obvious 0 songs. So iTunes has this lovely feature that likes to duplicate my current library to my iPod. See the dilemna? Well so is there a way that I can keep all the songs on my iPod yet add new ones from my iTunes library now?

Need help finishing off slideshow

I have posted here a few times before, i have had great help from members but now i just need help finishing off my project. It is for a client and i am trying to do it as fast as i can but i do not have the knowledge to finish off the code. I did post this question previously but it has gone unanswered,
I just need help on a roll out effect, i have it so if the mouse rolls of the button before the second image is up, it fades out. That is good. But when the second image IS up, the mouse rolls off the button and then the 2nd image fades out, but the 1st images shows up and also fades out. How can i prevent this from happening so it is always only the visible image that will fade out.

I don't have time to go thru your code in detail to figure out what it's supposed to be doing, and no one is likely to try to help if you don't provide it here. If I look at your other posting I see one line that you should correct... who knows, it might be the source of your problem... this line needs to be fixed....

- I suspect that he went to Settings>General>Reset>Erase all content and settings. For 1G or 2G iPod that can take hours and it will likely stall out if not connected to a charging source.
Try the following:
- A reset.
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- The connect to computer and try to restore via iTunes.
- Id something is still showing onthe screen, disconnect from computer/charging source and let the battery fully drain. After charging for an hour, Try the reset and restore.
- If you can turn the iPod off, se if placing the iPod in recovery mode and then restore. For recovey mode:
iPhone and iPod touch: Unable to update or restore

New to Plumtree and need help to get rolling. Req's is simple thus far: To supress render of "Login" link in TopBarView for Guests if certain URL is captured at Request.
There were some topics here that suggests extending from the Class PlumtreeTopBarView.CS, I just need to identify which UI part that renders the "Login" html link to supress this. I got the function to use to capture the URL string -> GetRequestURL(), I am fishing info on where or what function in PlumtreeTopBarView I need to override to plugin a condition that if this URL string == <something> then suppress "Login" link, or the Search, or whatever elements in the TopBar I need to suppress if need be??
Is there some Help file in PT that I can reference that will enable me to find what namespace does GetRequestURL() belongs to? Please bear with me I am very new to PT code infrastructure, still trying to find stuff with strict deadlines. Much Obliged in advance...

You just need to create your own version of PlumtreeTopBarView (original in com.plumtree.common.uiparts), and use CustomActivitySpace.xml to override that view with your own view. Your version would use some kidn fo logic to determine whether or not to display certain elements. TheUI Customization Guide should help quite a bit, and we have several quickstarts for overriding views you can start from.

Tokenize the URL into the base address / control arguments, perhaps splitting on the "?" symbol; then tokenize the base address on the ".". You'll end up with three strings. For portal.plumtree.com, the three strings would portal, plumtree, and com. You can then use those string in the logig you add to PlumtreeTopBarView.

When I go to my website on a pc and click on the photos that are color, there are white pixels all over the picture. I really need help! Has anyone had this happen to them?

Hold down the Option key while you boot your Mac. Then, it should show you a selection of devices. Click your flash drive and it will boot from that.

- Last, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store.
