Need help logging ing

I know it's prob simple but i'm new to this.

This binary file is in $ORACLE_HOME/bin
You have to set up ORACLE_HOME and ORACLE_SID in your user environnement (in the shell under Unix, somewhere in the Start->something menu under Windows).

I setup a Cisco Home Network and Need help Logging into It

Hello, I have four 2521 routers and three 2954 switches. I connected my ISPs modem from the ethernet port and plugged it into port 24 of one of my switches. I also configured the switch for VTY access and gave it a login password. I would like to log into the switch to configure it and telnet into all the other devices from a remote location. But I am unable to ping the public address assigned to me by my ISP. So I can't even telnet to the switch. Help

With help from elsewhere, I have learned how to change the colors and figured out a few other things. I have another question, though.
I want to put a Twitter widget and a comment box on my website. I have the widget code from Twitter, but it is HTML and javascript or something. Can I just put these codes into the modules of the flash template? If you look at the template, you should see that it has modules that have editable HTML text areas, but I don't know if it is limited to text or something, or if it will function correctly if I put other HTML codes in it such as script codes, etc in it.
Also, if that works, does anyone know where I can get a code to put the comment box in one of the modules? I don't mean a contact box, I mean a widget where people can leave comments and the comments display on the page, like on a myspace profile. Just something simple that allows a visitor to leave a name and a text-only comment. I would also like to be able to selectively delete comments in case of spammers, etc.

Need help incorporating the second counter into a current data acquisition routine (continuous retriggerable AI).

My current application acquires data when it sees a TTL trigger line. Then it wait until the next TTL pulse and continues taking data until the user stop the data acquisition process. I use "counter 0" as counter source. The program works well. However I need to read digital data everytime I take AI data. I plan to use "counter 1" to read the digital data. The trick is that I need to synchronize both AI and counter 1 readings. Therefore the counter 2 will acquire data when AI acquires data.
Here is the code I implemented and would like to know if it is correct. The new code (implementation of second counter) is in the bottom part of the code. I will really appreciate your help.

Hi DrObb,
What is sounds like you want to do is to specify an external sample clock for your analog acquisition and a digital acquisition. Is there a reason in particular that you're using a counter? What hardware are you using? If you simply want to sample a digital and analog channel on the same clock edge, this won't be very difficult (provided your hardware supports hardware-timed digital IO). You can find an example of this being done in C by going to:

Need help logging into Adobe Content Viewer on my iPad

I have downloaded Adobe Content Viewer on my iPad and when I try to sign in I get an authentication failed message. I have changed my password and i have no problem logging into my account for Adobe on the website. Not sure what I am doing wrong.

Need help logging from 2 loops

My RS232 signal and analog signals are causing my data acquisition program to display data incorrectly.
The program works best with 2 loops. If I don' t have 2 loops the data doesn't update on my screen instantly.
I need a way to log the data from both loops.

In your "ReadSerialBuffer.vi" you should first read the amount of bytes available.
If there aren't any available chars your program will always be waiting at this point. See the example VISA_RX.vi-attached.
I also advice to use some event case... You could have both loops run one after another in a case structure. I have attached a serial Port test program I found over here which I like for it's nice structure.

Getting a new phone - need help transitioning

I had my Palm Pre Plus for Verizon for just over a month when the phone overheated and became non-functional. The Verizon store was unable to restore the phone to operational status and I am being shipped a new Palm Pre Plus.
Anyway, before the phone became totally disabled, I connected the device to my computer via USB and backed up all of the internal directories and files contained on the Pre Plus. Question: Am I able to restore all of the text messages, attachments, and photographs to the new phone? I am not worried about the email, contacts, and calendar since these were synchronized with my Google account and am assuming I can do the same with the new phone.
It looks as though much of this information is store in the directories I backed up.

Hello and welcome to the forums;
Text messages, call logs, ringtone preferences, etc. are not backed up in the Profile, and are not stored on the USB portion of the drive. Pictures, mp3s, movies, and documents are stored in the USB drive, and those will be recovered.
As for attachments saved from emails, it depends on what type of attachment as to whether or not the file will be in the part of the USB drive you can access.

Hello, my MacBook Pro 13" was stolen, it has Euro Keyboard Layout, Thats not common in Jamaica. Yesterday i saw a MacBook Pro at a Pawn Shop Fitting The Description of mine. How can i know for sure that its mine? i don't have the receipt, i dont know the serial number, its was not registered online at Apple either. Please help!!!! there must be a way.

Need Help DL'ing 3.2.1

Hello all, and thanks for the help in advanced. I have the current version of iTunes, and am using Windows Vista. I have an iPod touch 2nd gen with the software 2.2.1, and have bought the software 3.2.1 and am having trouble downloading it completely. It starts up fine and downloads all but .1 mb, and then give me err 3259. I've read a couple of threads here in the forums, and I've disabled my firewall and tried to download, but no luck. I've seen someone say disable any anti-virus program I may have, but I've yet to try it, as I have my doubts about that and how it will help. But I will try it soon.

I'm having the same problem. I bought an album with iTunes three days ago and it refuses to download the music. Funnily enough, I downloaded the "Free Single of the Week" from the iTunes Store homepage and it downloaded instantly. Also, I've got Vista, too.
I sent a problem request through e-mail via the iTunes website and got a generic response to the problem. One of the solutions to it is to uninstall and re-install iTunes. There' also a webpage with the rest of it linked here: http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1368

Need help logging into solaris

I am new to this, I just got my solaris dvd set, I have installed it and I tried several times to log in, but I keep running into the same issue, I am able to input my login name, but it refuses to let me type in my password, it doesn't matter what I type, nothing happens, no letters no astrix's (*) I just don't know whats going on.
PS for those who are wondering how I am able to post here, i am running the Ubuntu live cd, that way I can bypass the seemingly defective login screen of my solaris 10 operating system and connect to the internet.

and are you saying that its not supposed to show up as I type it, or was that one of your questions, if so, then yeah, there were no characters echoed to the screen.

Need help disassembling Blackbird case!

So I decided to take apart and paint my case, but I've ran into an issue. I have already taken off the doors, removed the power supply, and all that stuff. But I can't seem to lift off the top piece of the case, after removing all the black screws lining the side of the case of course. Only the back part of it comes up about an inch, but the front part is stuck somewhere and now I can't even close the usb/card reader enclosure. I've tried for a while now and im stumped. If anyone has any experience with disassembling this case please help, I really want to get it painted! Thanks!

So three times on the order form the offer was referred to as an upgrade to FINAL CUT STUDIO. As I recall, Apple's website for the offer had the same verbiage.
What I can't figure out is that if I did the same thing as you, how do I know what I have and you don't? Is it Apple's fault you can't remember even though other people with the exact same experience do remember?
Well, David, YOU fire up your copy of FCP, DVDSP, Motion, LiveType, Color or any other effing apple product, and tell me where it says you have "Final Cut Studio 2"
I don't have Final Cut Studio 2. I have Final Cut Studio 1. That's what I received from Apple after sending in my FCP 4.5 install disc. Unless you were extremely lucky, that's what you should have received also.

Need help sync'ing iPod Touch (not authorized error)

I have an iPod Touch (about year old not sure if 4th or 5th Gen), iOS 8.1.2. I used to be able to sync everything fine with Windows ITunes on my old desktop, but when I got a new desktop I can't sync (more precisely I can't "Apply" updates to apps). When I go to the device's Apps tab on the left of ITunes interface, I click the "UPDATE" button on an app (Temple Run 2), it changes to "Will Update", then I click "Apply". During the sync it says
"The iPod "name" could not be synced because this computer is no longer authorized for purchased items that are not on this iPod. To authorize this computer fro items purchased from the ITunes Store, choose Store>Authorize This Computer."
I know this question has been asked by others, and I've tried many things including deauthorizing and reauthorizing, going into hidden files and deleting the SC Data folder, signing in with another of my ITunes accounts, using the "Manage Deivces" section of My Account, etc. None of it works. (Note: In Manage Devices, I see the iPod in question, but I renamed recently and it still shows as the old name in "ITunes Manage Devices" - I am afraid to delete it and add it back under the new name because I don't know what good or bad would happen if I do)
So, is there another idea out there? I would do a hard reset on the iPod, but I am afraid I;ll lose all the data for each app, especially game progress.
Any ideas to troubleshoot this?

New user: need help logging in not working

I tried to setup using google talk. My email is working but ichat keeps coming back that my user name and password are not correct. I've tried changing them. Made new connections. Failed at all tries. I know someone posted earlier but to be honest I didn't understand the fix. Sorry! Strange but I am on my moms macbook but my macbook pro setup with not problem. The setting seem to all be the same. Thank you in advance.

And specifically from those pics what does your server say you are trying to login to ?
It is common that a Jabber Account will think the server will be the @gmail.com (Or @googlemail.com) from when you type in your Jabber ID, when it should be talk.google.com as in the pics.

New gtx 670 PE: need help oc'ing while maintaining longevitiy

Hey everyone,
so i recently picked up a GTX 670 Power edition, and have tinkered around with overclocking it.
so far, i have it at:
+40 Core voltage
114% power limit
+91 Core Clock
+635 Memory clock
I am currently stable running heaven benchmark and playing battlefield 3, with temperatures topping at 67c
now my question is, how safe is it to run +40mv on the corevoltage for everyday use and how far can voltage be pushed before hurting the card's lifespan. I wish to keep this card running at top shape for atleast 3 years, so im a bit worried about pumping excessive voltage through it.
I'm pretty new to GPU overclocking, but have some experience with cpu overclocking so i know that voltage and electromigration are a concern with cpu overclocking and its lifespan, thus im worried about pushing that core voltage slider too far. Can anyone give some advice?

You are absolutely safe. You can't set dangerous voltages with Afterburner as long as gpu does not overheat. Your 67°C are very fine. You are 30°C from the max temp of 97°C (http://www.geforce.com/hardware/desktop-gpus/geforce-gtx-670/specifications) so that's brilliant. Right now there is no problem with shortened lifespan in your case.
