Need help msi 945pl neo crashed within 3 months use

need help. my mobo doesnot start, no post, no beep.
1.main board 945pl neo(MS-7236)
2.video card: msi RX300HM TD128E
3.CPU Type: pentium 4 3Ghz (531)
4.Memory Type:512mb ddr2 533 kingston
5.Power Supply Type:generic 500W
6.Operating System:windows xp
Just a bit of history, when i first bought and assembled the unit(brand new) it was working fine for about 5 times used, then the next time i used a message window appear informing "a problem has been detected and window has been shut down
to prevent damage" and before i can restart my unit i have to reset first the bios.. i encounter the same problem about 3 times..
Then just about a week ago (about 3 months after i bought it)while working on a MSWORD only the same message appear with additional info which state that :
1... be sure to if uhave adequate space... try changing video adapters
2. check your hardware vendor for any bios updates.....
3. tech/info

then a blue screen appear
which has an info of:

since then i cannot open my computer, there is NO Beep sound, no post, but the power Led is on and the HDD led goes On for the moment then goes out... same with the cdrom drive its spin for a moment, i can feel also the harddisk is spinning.
i check the power supply, memory. video cards and harddisk with another computer(mobo) and its working just fine which led me to the conclusion that it is my MOBO that has the problem. Can this problem associated with the Bios (by the way i never update my bios and my computer is not connected to the net). What should i do?? What is the possible cause of this problem??

Your specific error code is not in the base, but you can try searching for "stop 0X0000008E in win32k.sys".
Start by clearing CMOS using the jumper or reset button on your board. Please disconnect your pc from AC power first.
Please make sure that Service Pack 2 for Windows XP is installed on your system. If not, install it (if possible of course).
Please check your memory using Memtest86 .
Please try booting from CD or from diskette (the memtest diskette is bootable by itself).
If the system will not boot after you tried this, please try starting barebone:
- Take out all your hardware, including the mainboard and lay it on a piece of cardboard;
- Leave the CPU where it is;
- Install only one dimm, your videocard and one hard disk (and your power supply) and try to start the system. You can use a flat screwdriver to connect the two power pins that normally go to your power switch.
If the system still will not boot, try another video card.
hello!
i'll already tried the list you suggested, and still nothing happened, again there are no beep, no post. only the power led that lit and the fan that is spinning. reinstalling the OS seem impossible coz its not even booting... i'll test all my other hardware with another computer and they are working well...

Difference between MSI 945PL NEO version 1 and 2

My computer just died, I believe the motherboard is dead. I have a spare MSI 945PL NEO motherboard on hand. I would like to use my CPU from the dead machine with MSI motherboard. The CPU is intel Core 2 Duo 2.2 GHz. I looked on MSI website. The MSI 945PL NEO PCB v2 support Core 2 Duo CPU but not the PCB version 1. What is the difference between PCB version 1 and 2? What I can see is less RAM slot and faster FSB on V2. I want to know if I put my Core 2 Duo CPU into the motherboard, will it boot up? or will it damage the CPU? I do not mind the performance if the system can work together.

We can't tell you which specific changes have been made to PCB 2.2 but in fact there is no Core 2 Duo support for PCB 1.0. As I still don't know if you have 1.0 or 2.2 I can't tell you what happens with your board. None the less it will most likely simply don't work if you try on 1.0 (board does not post). We need help on struts configuration with ColdFusion 10 using IIS.
Earlier we were using ColdFusion 8 with IIS 6 for one of our application. This application internally calls struts. After upgrading to ColdFusion 10 struts calls are not loading. We get 404 error.
In ColdFusion 8 struts were configured using actions extension .do in IIS from this file-
C:\ColdFusion8\runtime\lib\wsconfig\jrun_iis6.dll.
But in ColdFusion 10 this file is not present as ColdFusion 10 uses Tomcat in place of Jrun.
Also there is no information in ColdFusion log file.

I am in a similar situation, sharing internet with my neighbor. Do you think it would be plausible to hook up a vonage phone adapter to time capsule's ethernet port if time capsule is bridging from my neighbor's router in the configuration you have described? A check of my upload speed shows 1.67Mbps (powerbookG4 w/ airport extreme). Vonage reccommends 90kbps minimum upload speed. Am I going to lose some speed putting the Vonag adapter behind time capsule?

I have a msi k8t neo motherboard socket 754 ms-6702 bios version 2.2 with a athlon 64 2800+ in my computer. I just bought a AMD Athlon 64 3700+ CPU Socket 754 .1MB cache. When i install it, my power goes on and i get no activity. Im wondering if i got a bad cpu off ebay or my bios isnt current enough ( i used msi live updating software and its currently at v 2.2) or does my motherboard not support this high of a cpu? Im not very computer literate. Thanks for any help and info. If i need to update my bios, i downloaded version 7.1 but i dont know how to flash it, can somone give me the steps

I had a bad experience with a 3700 bought on e bay ,turned out to be an engineering sample ."special m/b bios reqd" in my case I did get a boot and the engineering cmos message. genuine 3700 754's are quite rare and fetch premium prices.

Currently i'm not using the RAID function. But what if in future i need to use the function? The message wil appear again. How do i fix it? Install the Promise Raid using the disk given?
The HDD LED is still not working. I've follow the instructions in the manual on connecting the LED to the mobo. Only one LED is functioning.

Need help with MDX formula to sum months

I was able to use Gary C's suggestion to sum daily data for 90 days with the following formula.

This formula works great - even when crossing different years in the Scenario dimension.
I'm now trying to sum the prior 3 months using a similar TupleRange command:

In ASO architecture, if you want to aggregate these multiplied values you probably want to do the multiplication prior to loading so the sum of the products rolls up. Right now, you can't have the multiplication done in MDX and then have ASO aggregate. It's mostly a performance concern; you can do the multiplication and aggregation in one formula if you want. I've had nothing but problems trying to get this system running properly at any overclocking selections. Can you please review my components and give me suggestions on how to improve my situation.
Currently my know problems are 1. The Mother Board will only read my (2) 200/Gig Hard drives as 127/Gigs. 2. Slighest overclocking & system won't boot up.

The first thing you need to do is tighten them memory timings you killing your a64's performance
try 2.5,3,2,8 t1 2.7v
Get the latest bios for the neo it is a truly fast board when set up right.
Your 3d mark 01 should be in the 15k to 20k range
If you are running 200gb hdds you need to run sp1 on windows xp as xp does not recognise drives over 137gb
run your pci at 67 or 68
drop your htt to 3x
before you try to over clock you system get it running well at stock speeds or you will end up in a mess, there is not much point o/cin if its not.
Msi neo need a bit of tweaking but it runs like a dream when you do.

Need Help: MSI GT780R Black Screen After BIOS UPDATE,

I descided to update my bios since it wasnet updated,
and i found the BIOS and chooced the NON raid One. Downloaded made a Bootable USB Drive.
and Typed, Afudos.exe And E1761IMS.10H. and it started Updating and in the end it sayd updated.
i Restarted PC was working then next restart It was Blackscreen, i have since 3 days now reading forums how to fix but theirs not much.
i have tried removing the Red and Black Cable, that Reset CMOS Settings. it did work, but after Shutdown same blackscreen. tried this option again didn't work anymore.
i have also tried Updating Bios Blind but doesn't work either im pressing keys wrong. or im not getting into the USB Drive.
I really need help by someone who has had this issue themselves or handy with computer please i need help

No, i did not use flash.bat when i got to the point to write i wrote. Afudos.exe and E1761IMS.10H i watched a dude
when he made it on Youtube that's why i didn't include flash.bat.
whats the right BIOS Update for a GT780R MSI Laptop ?
is it the NON Raid System
or the Raid System one.
i got SSD 128GB Harddrive + 750GB Harddrives.

Good Day I bought a MSI K8N NEO Platinum recently and have these doubt ! I[m not upgrade the Bios because the system functions perfectly but verified that version 1.2 says Support FSB you 450MHz. What this wants to say? I gain more performance? Another versions described terms : - Update NVPXE version you the 2.03.0469. - Update CBROM version you the 1.47. - Update NVRAID version you the 4.81.
What it would be these terms?

If your board is stable and you like it the way it is, there is no reason to update the bios. You should only update the bios if it pertains to you.
Support 450MHz FSB is probably refering to speeds you can attain with overclocking.
NVPXE is for booting off of the LAN. I doubt you need to worry about this.
CBROM don't know
NVRAID is to update the bios for the RAID, but again if you are having no problems with it there is no need to upgrade.

Need Help! PS CS3 have Error when using custom brushes.

Hello Everyone,
First, please forgive my bad english!
My prpblem is, that Photoshop CS3 (Part of Adobe Premium Suite 3, Design Premium package) always crash when I using the brushes.
I can use any other tool and it works great. But at the moment I use a brush for two three strokes Photoshop have an Error.
What I did. Delete all Brushes, save new Brushes, just use original Brushes. create new Brushes, that all didn't work. PS crashes also after I did all that stuff.
Hopefully somebody can help me, its very frustrated. Because Im a concept artist and I only need PS for painting. PS have this problem by the way
from beginn on I installed the Premium Suite on my iMac.

As with all unexplainable Photoshop-problems you might try trashing the prefs (after making sure all customized presets like Actions, Patterns, Brushes etc. have been saved and making a note of the Preferences you’ve changed) by pressing command-alt-shift on starting the program or starting from a new user-account.
System Maintenance (repairing permissions, purging PRAM, running cron-scripts, cleaning caches, etc.) might also be beneficial, Onyx has been recommended for such tasks.

Weeding out bad fonts never seems to be a bad idea, either. (Validate your fonts in Font Book and remove the bad ones.)
If 3rd party plug-ins are installed try disabling them to verify if one of those may be responsible for the problem.
