Need help - nano loses bookmarked place in long mp3
I have had a nano for a few weeks and just recently have come upon this problem. i play long mp3 (45-50 min length) lectures. often i will pause in the middle of them. when i start back, the nano starts in a different place than i left off, usually somewhere in the beginning of the track. this happens whether i turn off the nano in between or leave it on.
has anyone else had this problem or does anyone have a solution for it? thanks!

See that the mandatory SICF setting are enabled or Active in the SICF Services. Follow the steps as below:-
Enter the TCode SICF
Execute the same for Hierarchy Type SICF.
Check the following SAP Note 1295006.
If every thing is Active then, the IC Agent role will open.

I need it formatted like this:

I need to move that decimal place to the right one spot. Any
ideas? I have thought of REPLACE, create new value and insert but
my head hurts. I just need some ideas.

Need Help Authentication loses HttpContext??
We have both a custom data extension and a custom authentication extension for Reporting Services 2000.
Reports with one dataset work great, but reports with more than one dataset fail because the Authentication extension call GetUserInfo no longer has an HttpContext when the second dataset calls into it.
I've seen several people post this same problem on other forums but no answers. Documentation of an msdn article states "the security extension will always be loaded in the Report Server app domain" so I don't understand how we could lose the context.
Additionally, ALL samples of an authentication extension I've looked at have GetUserInfo coded the same way:

Any help or insights would be GREATLY appreciated - thanks, Ken.OK, Wanted to share what I have found after opening a ticket with MS.
What we wanted to accomplish:
To dynamically change our connection string per userID so we could hit multiple instances of the same database structure. We did this by using the UserID stored in the HTTPContext. However, multiple datasets in a report caused Reportings Services to spawn new threads to access the data and RS did not persist the HTTPContext to these threads.
The GetUserInfo problem was a red herring- this did indeed always have access to the HTTPContext which was part of our Authentication extension. The Data extension was the real problem as we didn't have the HTTPContext during creation of our Connection object. What we found out from MS is that Reporting Services doesn't guarantee calls to be made on the asp.net worker thread and indeed in some instances even reports with one dataset failed.
Workaround:
Reports build with RS have access to a global variable UserID - this is actually retrieved from either WindowsIndentity or FormsIdentity based on authentication. Thus I added a report parameter UserID with a non-queried default value of =User!UserID to each report, and then created a parameter @UserID for every dataset with the value of =Parameters!UserID.Value.
In the connection object if I don't have my HTTPContext, I default to a known database so the code doesn't fail. Then in the Command object's execute reader, I loop through the parameters until I find @UserID. I now can recreate my connection object based on the UserID and set this connection as my Command's connection and return the datareader from the correct database. I make sure the connection is closed by always specifying the CloseConnection behavior during the datareader creation.
Whew!!! A bit cheesy, but it is allowing us to do what we need. Hopefully this will help anyone else that needs it. -
Need help removing PDF from "Places" in Finder window
I just noticed this PDF in my sidebar and I can't remove it, "Catalyst Itenerary 2012"
It's an old document I must have dropped it in here at some point but must no longer exist on my computer because Spotlight cannot find it.
I'm able to select everything in the sidebar except this PDF. I can't select it or highlight with my pointer, I can't right-click it to choose the "Remove from sidebar" option.
Please help, I'm stumped.If you're on Snow Leopard, then hold the Command key down as you drag it off.
For Leopard like your profile shows, it should just drag off. -

I tried again this morning, Here is what I did.
I made sure I did not logged in to the application and made sure I only opened one brower window. Then I tried to open the page. I was not able to log in the first time I opened the page, I got the error I mentioned in the first post, and on the right top corner of the error page it has a logout link.
Then I clicked refresh button and I could access the page. I could tell I did not logged in at that time because there is no logout link on the right top corner, there were only links for "home" and "preferences".
Then I closed the browser and reopened the browser, and tried to open the page, at this time I got error again, then I click refresh button and I could open the page again.
Then I kept this browser window open and I opened another browser window and just went to blank page. Then I close the first browser window(the one with the bookmarkable page) and opened a new window (during this time the blank page was still open) and went to the bookmarkable page again. And this time it worked.
I think there is something like cookie changed when I got the error so I could open the page after click refresh. But dont know what it is.

Need Help With My 40G Creative Zen Touch Mp3 Play
Got this beautiful mp3 player for a steal at only $95 dlvd!
Works great, only problem is I just installed the software and when I run the Organizer thing, it doesnt detect any mp3s. So when I go into my folders containing mp3's they dont show up. I tried to associate formats using the File Options in the settings menu but there are no file types listed to associate! Im confused at what to do.
Also when the program software was installing I kept getting error messages relating to the registration of certain parts of the program, it still installed complete but gave me a error message to report to Creative. Everything works fine so far though?

Hi thanks for the help, Im not sure if my ins the Plays for sure model or not? Its the Creative Zen Touch 40 GB. I bought it without a manual so im not positi've how to check the details. It came with a software installation CD, that is what I used for the software. So does this mean I just need to download the plugins you listed? Is that what is affecting the Organizer in the fact that it doesnt display mp3s? -
This morning, i downloaded about 16 songs to put on my ipod, and i manually dragged them over to my ipod to sync that way (like i always do because the music on my ipod came from a different computer which I no longer have) and on my way to work, i realized my ipod says "no content" under Music. However, when I plug my ipod into itunes and click on the music tab under my ipod name, all of my music is there. What happened and how do i get that music back on my ipod? I need help asap.
You had a glitch and the music files got corrupted. I know of no way to uncorrupt them.
You can try using a computer app like iFunbox

1. This procedure is a diagnostic test. It changes nothing, for better or worse, and therefore will not, in itself, solve the problem. But with the aid of the test results, the solution may take a few minutes, instead of hours or days.
Don't be put off merely by the seeming complexity of these instructions. The process is much less complicated than the description. You do harder tasks with the computer all the time.
2. If you don't already have a current backup, back up all data before doing anything else. The backup is necessary on general principle, not because of anything in the test procedure. Backup is always a must, and when you're having any kind of trouble with the computer, you may be at higher than usual risk of losing data, whether you follow these instructions or not.
There are ways to back up a computer that isn't fully functional. Ask if you need guidance.

Copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C.
7. Launch the built-in Terminal application in any of the following ways:
Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Terminal in the icon grid.
Click anywhere in the Terminal window and paste by pressing command-V. The text you pasted should vanish immediately. If it doesn't, press the return key.
8. If you see an error message in the Terminal window such as "syntax error," enter
exec bash
and press return. Then paste the script again.
9. If you're logged in as an administrator, you'll be prompted for your login password. Nothing will be displayed when you type it. You will not see the usual dots in place of typed characters. Make sure caps lock is off. Type carefully and then press return. You may get a one-time warning to be careful. If you make three failed attempts to enter the password, the test will run anyway, but it will produce less information. In most cases, the difference is not important. If you don't know the password, or if you prefer not to enter it, press the key combination control-C or just press return three times at the password prompt. Again, the script will still run.
If you're not logged in as an administrator, you won't be prompted for a password. The test will still run. It just won't do anything that requires administrator privileges.
10. The test may take a few minutes to run, depending on how many files you have and the speed of the computer. A computer that's abnormally slow may take longer to run the test. While it's running, there will be nothing in the Terminal window and no indication of progress. Wait for the line
[Process completed]
to appear. If you don't see it within half an hour or so, the test probably won't complete in a reasonable time. In that case, close the Terminal window and report the results. No harm will be done.
11. When the test is complete, quit Terminal. The results will have been copied to the Clipboard automatically. They are not shown in the Terminal window. Please don't copy anything from there. All you have to do is start a reply to this comment and then paste by pressing command-V again.
At the top of the results, there will be a line that begins with the words "Start Time." If you don't see that, but instead see a mass of gibberish, you didn't wait for the "Process completed" message to appear in the Terminal window. Please wait for it and try again.
If any private information, such as your name or email address, appears in the results, anonymize it before posting. Usually that won't be necessary.
12. When you post the results, you might see the message, "You have included content in your post that is not permitted." It means that the forum software has misidentified something in the post as a violation of the rules. If that happens, please post the test results on Pastebin, then post a link here to the page you created.

BB Desktop Manager no longer works with Mac Maverick - Need Help Urgently
I have been a loyal Blackberry user since the Government of Canada officially began using these cell phones. I feel, however, abandoned by Blackberry (they obviously don't believe that it is easier to retain an existing customer than acquire a new one). I'm using a Blackberry Bold (9900) with a Macbook Pro. Everything was fine until I upgraded my Mac operating system to Maverick; my Blackberry Desktop Manager no longer works, so I cannot sync the content (contacts, calendar) of my phone with my Mac, but that's not the worst of it.
I recently had a momentary lapse and exceeded the 10 password attempts to access my phone... this accidentally wiped my phone clean... and because Desktop Manager does not work with Mac, I do not have a way to recover my data. Rogers was of no help and had Blackberry updated its desktop software months ago, as it should have, this issue would have been moot. I do not know how or why, but I was able to recover most of my data, but I'm not sure just how up-to-date tha data is and am still going through it, but I'm having issues with some functionality.
I'm in the US for several months and have suspended my Canadian services. Prior to the wipe, I was able to use wifi on my phone to send and receive emails with no problem. After the wipe, I can't send emails or bbms. I checked my blackberry internet service and all email accounts are good to go. BBMs are another issue. I need help. Suggestions please.Apple has ceased synchronization with Mavericks. The issue lies with Apple, not with the desktop software. To mitigate the lack of sync capabilities in Mavericks you can sync your contacts and calender on your Mac with the usual suspects (Yahoo, Google). Create a backup (archive) for Contacts and Calender on your Mac first, then create one of those email accouonts that allow syncing. On your 9900 and with BlackBerry provisioning enabled create the new or existing email account. See which email accounts can sync with BB, I know Yahoo is working fine. For Yahoo, get the Yahoo Calender sync (a few bucks one-off payment required), Contacts sync works off the shelf within BB. If you reset the 9900 you should be able to restore all data with BB DTM. Please note that emails you received during the 9900 reset and the date of restore will not be available on the device. You will still not be able to sync contacts/calender over BB DTM. Warning this is very long code but i need help to see if I am on right trac
I have done all the following code myself and it is the buisiness layer for my application. I have tried to follow recommendations on previous posts and I would like to be told where I can clean up my code and how? This is not complete and it looks very long to me but I need help in order to be better. There are 4 button vlivks and I have not completed them all. The criteria for application is that phonebook will accept new entries if they have names surnames and phone numbers that are not longer than 10 characters for display purposes but can change this. No duplicates are allowed. No editing of a existing entry must lead to a duplicate entry either. No new entry or edit may result in a new contact having no phone numbers.
