NEED HELP NOKIA DONT ANSWER THEIR PHONES!

My phone must be about a week and a half old and today when i turned it off it wouldnt switched back on at all?!
Not a clue what to do, any company i phone do not answer their phones so thats pretty useless.
I have the nokia x6 16gb but not a clue how to fix it.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Are yo sure the battery is not flat? If not, leave the phone charge for a while before trying to start it. Also check to make sure the battery is seated properly and is not loose.
If it isn't the battery, try removing the battery and leaving it out for at least 15minutes before replacing. If that does not do the trick then you might have to try the hard reset. To hard reset, press and hold the green + red + camera button then turn the phone on while holding the other 3 buttons until you see the handshake. Note that the hard reset will wipe all your data, so unless you have a previous backup, you will lose all your data.

thanks. yes i am aware of the VoiceOver feature but it is NOT the solution to my problem. as you said, it is a solution to a different set of issues. i want the text to speech ability because i there are books i need to read but do not have the time to sit down and read them and have become used to listening to them read to me either by a professional human reader or with the text to speech software on the Kindle.
I think Apple makes the best audio devices but i am really disappointed in this inexplainable shortcoming. if apple can give us siri they ought to be able to design a nice little button that i can push to turn on text to speech while i am in a document, book, magazine or webpage. clearly it is possible as apple has added the "reader" button in safari to have web pages dropped into the reader format.
thanks for your suggestion though, it is what everyone suggests but it does not address the issue.

Unfortunately, there is pretty much nothing you can do. Only the owner of the account used to lock it can remove the lock. If you can't contact whoever you purchased it from, or if they can't or won't remove the lock, then it's a brick. There is a very real chance that it's stolen.

Here is what you should do turn the device on hold the home button and the power button until the device turn off keep holding and when the device reboots release the power button but hol the home button until it shows the iTunes logo then restore it

Need help on Mokia N-73 phone

Am new to the forum, and need ur help
Am planning to switch from Nokia N-73 Music edition to Nokia 7610 Supernova (looks very cool).. Need help on few points...
1) Had saved all my data (messages, contacts etc.) on the memory card in N-73. Want to tranfer that to the new phone. hoever, The calendar entries are on phone -memory.. Can someone suggest how to transfer all of these three things to Nokia 7610.. I dont mind about the songs and the photos as much cos will transfer them on to my PC.. I Definitely need help, as I do not want to lose my messages and calendar entries..Pls suggest how to transfer this information.
2) Someone told me that all the information that is on a Phone memory in ANY Nokia phone can easily be transferred to any other Nokia phone. Is that true? Can someone pls confirm it. If that is indeed the case, is it possible to transfer my messages from NOkia N-73 memory card to its phone memory and then to Nokia 7610? Also if it is indeed possible to transfer all info from a phone memory, then is it advisable that I store all my messages on the new phone in the Phone memory instead of memory card? Pls advise
3) Can I use the mini SD memory card of N-73 in Nokia 7610 (which I think uses micro SD card). If not, then any other option?
4) If I buy a new 2 GB micro SD memory card, can that be universally used in a digital camera as well. Pls suggest...
Need all the help I can get at the earliest, as I am badly stuck right now (the N-series is giving probs)

You will be moving from an S60 device to an S40 device. Not an issue if you are happy with 7610 capability.
The memory cards are different size so won't physically be sharable.
N73 / S60 has an application called 'Data Mover' which does that. What I don't know is if this available on S40 or if there is an S40 equivalent. Anyone know? I will try and take a look later.
If the amount of entries you have is low you could transfer by bluetooth or re-key. (I suspect that's isn't the case otherwise you wouldn't be asking)!
You may be able to transfer info by PC Suite, but you need to check the conditions here....

Because you use not a Symbian/S60 but a Nokia Series 40 based phone, these codes do not work. Instead, did you consider the Software Recovery Tool via a Windows computer already?

I am running the latest version of PC Suite, and have a Win XP SP2 OS on the computer and have been trying to connect my 7370 to it. It recognises the phone, but then when I try to authenticate the phone it says "Cannot authenticate the phone" I have no idea what to do.

Hi,
Could you try this:
Open Nokia PC Suite > Get Connected > Next > select Bluetooth connection > Next > select your phone and press Unpair. (Remove all paired devices also from phone's BT-UI.) Select your phone again and press Next > set password > Next > set same password in phone UI.
If you phone ask "allow this device to connect automatically", press no (you can change this later to Yes)
-> Now phone should inform you about connect to your PC, do you get that (if you get that press "Accept")?
But if Get Connected can not find your phone, check your phone BT settings. If BT settings are OK, open e.g. Nokia PC Sync > Select Phone > Refresh.

I'm trying to get a new Palm phone but the HP website has no useful information. I would appreciate anyone's help with choosing a new phone to replace my Palm Centro. I want to continue using the Palm because it sounds like iphones and other smart phones don't have a way to back up their contents and they all require internet.
Here are some of the qualities I'd like to have:
1. No internet requirement but able to use wifi.

Did you not transfer them to your computer? and back them up?
You only get one download.
Unless you are in the U.S where Apple has released a Beta version of icloud.
If not in the U.S., you could try contacting itunes support and asking for an exception. they are under no obligation to allow.

I Purchased an iphone4 from a couple and later found out that in order to install apps that I need their account password. I texted them and they said they didn't remember it. They said to contact apple and give them the info they used when they purchased and registered the phone. They gave me the info but where/how do I use the info to turn it off so I can delete the account. You will not be able to use this iPhone if you don't get them to sign out of their Apple ID with the appropriate Password. If they forgot their Apple ID and Password they can go online and correct things but they will need to answer their Security Questions and also may need to receive information on their Recovery email Address. This can all be done relatively quickly, but they will need to cooperate.

Need some help with figuring out what phone to get? I’ am set on getting the DroidX and my wife wants the Droid 2. So here is my question? The Droid 2 is showing it can expand out to 40Gig has a drop down keyboard ect but what I don’t see is that it can do GPS.
Can the DroidX memory be expanded bigger the 16 gig. I have lot of questions just need some answers

I hope you do enjoy the new Droid X and your wife enjoys the Droid 2. Remember this....you both have 30 days to try out the phone. If you don't like for whatever reason or something is wrong with it just exchange it. This is nice because you can pretty much test out the phone & see if it meets your needs/wants. Not sure about the sound or camera. For touch screen I have read it is pretty responsive. Have you ever owned a touch screen before? If not it may take a little time to warm up to the touch screen part. Just remember, practice makes perfect for typing on the touch screen and other things. I think the Droid X has swype built into it which makes it easier to type on
