NEED HELP: Nokia N8 deletes my messages

I think it's been ever since the PR update 1.2 my phone will automatically delete all my messages by it's self after a random time. It deletes all my messages from the Inbox, Sent, everywhere, even messages saved to the Sim.
I went into the settings and checked to see how many messages are saved and it says 999. And when it deltes my messages I only have 1 or 2 in the Inbox anyway. I called Nokia and they made me do a factory reset, but I still have the same problem.
My Call History stays on the phone, it's only my Messages which is really wierd and never had a problem like this before.
Has anyone had a problem like this before and can help me. I'm not 100% sure if it's since the PR update 1.2 but I haven't touched any settings on my phone since then and can't think of any other thing that's happened then.
If someone can help me fix this would be great. Nokia said if it does it again I might have to take it to a repair centre, but I really don't want to do this. Please HELP.

Need help: Nokia E63 - Putting "Draft" messages to...

Hello everyone I have a Nokia E63 which my mom gave to me 'cause my 5610 was broken. (R.I.P 5610) so she gave me this phone, but before my 5610 broke, I backed up my saved messages (using ovi suite). Those are very important messages.
So when I backed it up, then my phone broke, then I got the E63, and I saw there are no "saved messages" instead there are "My Folders". And Inside that there's a "Template" folder just like in The saved messages folder. Then I opened Nokia OVI suite, I run the backup of the 5610, and surprisingly it stored the messages. But the messages inside "Saved Messages" was put to the "drafts" folder of my Nokia E63.
So here's the problem. I tried to "Mark All" of the messages in the drafts, then Options, but there was no "Move to folder" or "Move" .. So I created a new folder in "My folders" then I tried marking all again, but there was no "Move" option. So my problem is I need to move those messages in the "Drafts" to "My folders" because THOSE are not drafts and It looks dirty when I see it in my drafts so I wanted to move it to a folder.
Help please? I have searched google but there was no problem like mine.. So I really need your help guys.

Have you checked the Message Centre number? Contact your service provider to obtain the number, and then update it in Messaging -> Options -> Settings -> Text message -> Message Centres.
Did you try a SIM from another Service provider? If the new one works, contact your service provider for help.
You can try these steps one by one, if the steps above do not help:
1. Turn off your phone, leave your battery and SIM out for 5-10minutes and put everything back in and turn it on .
2. Restore factory settings: type *#7780# at the standby screen. Enter 12345 for the security code or the one you've changed it to.
Before you try the next two steps, backup your phone memory using PC Suite.
3. Soft reset: This will clean up your phone memory. All user data, applications etc stored in the phone memory will be destroyed. Type *#7370#. Enter the security code when prompted
4. Hard reset: This is the last resort. Turn off your phone, press and hold down these keys: 3, * and the call (Green) button. Turn on your phone without releasing them. Leave the keys only after you see the region selection screen.
5. Reinstall the firmware: Download and install the latest Nokia Software Updater from the Nokia website. Connect to the internet, connect your phone to the PC and run NSU. Follow on-screen instructions carefully. Make sure you have a full battery and a stable PC before you proceed.

I don't understand why it won't let me delete the strikeout or underline in my Adobe Reader Touch. There is no clear option when I highlight it and write click and the "Ctrl-delete" option is not working either. I need to get rid of both of these. Did them by mistake....simple task but so frustrated that I have spent 30+ minutes trying to figure this out. Please help.

The photos being scanned are old film shots. They have NOT been previously scanned. I am using Photoshop Elements 9 software.

Are you scanning as jpeg, tiff or some other format?
Are you using continuous numbering for files names as by definition scanned files have no exif data.

Do you want to retrieve deleted information for future usage, or to completely delete a partition? The latter is straightforward: simply erase the partition. The former is more complicated: it's very difficult, even using available commercial software, to recover deleted information. If the data is important, you may want to contact a professional like DriveSavers. It won't be cheap.

I downloaded Nokia PC Suite Version 7.1.40.1 from Nokia site and installation got stuck at around 85%. I had to kill the session and restart installation. But no luck as it gets stuck everytime. I then tried cleaning all files related to PC Suite manually including registry entries. But I was not able to clean up some of the already installed files. It keeps saying the files are being used currently. Restarting the laptop also does not work.If I try to start the installation again I get a error message stating that the previous installation is in progress. Could some help me with this strange problem ?

Need help with an automating a "Message from webpage" click.

Basically - My program launches an internet explorer window. Points to a specific webpage that has records. Finds the "check all" and clicks it, then finds and clicks "delete".
I am stuck at this part. A "Message from webpage" pops up wanting to confirm the deletion of the records. I have 50 records per page and an excess of 14,000 records each day that need to be deleted. I do not have time to click OK on every single

Help! Can deleted text messages be retrieved?

I need to retrieve several text messages that my son deleted. Is there any way to do that, ie does it have a hard drive or something?

There is not a way for YOU to retrieve them. Once deleted off the device, they are gone for you.
Your two options should it be majorly important, are:
1. Do you have recent backup of the device on your PC? If so, was that backup made at such a time that those particular SMS messages would be in the backup?
2. Hire a mobile device forensics company to see if the data is retrievable. This is costly, probably in the hundreds, if not a thousand dollars for service.
3. A court order from a state court can retrieve records from your wireless carrier if the SMS messages are from a recent timeframe.

I need help Nokia 7370

Hi,
I am running the latest version of PC Suite, and have a Win XP SP2 OS on the computer and have been trying to connect my 7370 to it. It recognises the phone, but then when I try to authenticate the phone it says "Cannot authenticate the phone" I have no idea what to do.
I am connecting via bluetooth

Hi,
Could you try this:
Open Nokia PC Suite > Get Connected > Next > select Bluetooth connection > Next > select your phone and press Unpair. (Remove all paired devices also from phone's BT-UI.) Select your phone again and press Next > set password > Next > set same password in phone UI.
If you phone ask "allow this device to connect automatically", press no (you can change this later to Yes)
-> Now phone should inform you about connect to your PC, do you get that (if you get that press "Accept")?
But if Get Connected can not find your phone, check your phone BT settings. If BT settings are OK, open e.g. Nokia PC Sync > Select Phone > Refresh.

Need help for record deletion from custom table

I have to write a custom program which will be generic to delete any table record with date field.
This program needs to be generic (should be able to delete records from any custom table) in nature with selection screen parameters as:
Table Name and Number of Days prior to which records are deleted, both mandatory.
Program Flow:
1.     From number of days calculate date before which records are deleted, ( current date u2013 no. of days = past date).
2.     Custom table have date field, delete records prior to that date.
3.     Program may be scheduled for background job, put default values for both fields. No. of days should not be less than 60.
4.     Classical Report output with number of records deleted.
My query is how will I know the name of the Date field so that I can write a DELETE query.
If I use 'DDIF_FIELDINFO_GET' it gives me all field names but how to filter out?

I have added field on the selection screen as p_fieldname and got the F4 help for it , so that the user will get the field name run time as per the table name.
Now I am facing problem while writing the DELETE query.
I wrote like
DELETE (fp_tab)
where (fp_fieldname) LE date
It is not working. I also tried with taking a string to concatenate fp_fieldname, LE and date to l_string
when I write like this:
DELETE (fp_tab)
where (l_string) , sy-subrc is getting 4 and no records are getting deleted.
I do not understand where the dynamic Delete is failing??

Hi, have had nokia 6600 fold for couple of years - love it ! no probs, but have just found a strange symbol on screen which ive never seen before ? Its a yellow message envelope which spins and then becomes what loooks like a paper clip ? Cannot figure out what it is..messages 'in' shows nothing ?

Nokia 5800 deleting from message boxes

I have just moved to a 5800 from previous nokia phones I have had and cannot find a way to delete message box contents in bulk. There used to be a "mark all" in options but it does not appear to be there?
Folders I would wish to empty are Text - inbox, sent, drafts and email
Am I missing something or do you now have to do it one at a time???

We don't know whether this tutorial was written for Photoshop or Photoshop Elements, more specifically for which version of PSE. There are differences. Be sure to have the layers palette open.
Try this instead
Open picture B, the one you wish to select something from to add to another picture.
Use one of the selection tools, e.g. selection brush, lasso tool, to select the object. You will see an outline ("marching ants") once the selection is complete
Go to Edit menu>copy to copy the selection to the clipboard
Open picture A, then go to Edit>paste
Use the move tool to position object from picture B.
In the layers palette you should see picture A as the background layer, and object B on a separate layer.
To unlock the background layer, double click on it in the layers palette. Perhaps your tutorial will guide you through the process.

Need help! Document.library error message

I have the laptop, ThinkPad, I bought it last year, love it have never had any problems until now. I use it for school and now in word anytime I open a word document, try to attach a word document I get this error message "documents.library-ms" is no longer working. This library can be safely deleted from your computer. Folders that have been included will not be affected. Does anyone know what this means or what I can do?
Please help, any kind of help would be GREATLY appreciated!!!!!
