Need help on deciding on a memory card!
I know that my 8330 can take up to 8 gb according to my box and what verizon told me so I am looking to upgrade to the largest I can. I found that there are 2 diffent versions of micro SD now and that the newer one is not backwards compatible so anything that is using the regular micro SD cannot use it. it is called, Micro SD SDHC which I guess is a high cappacity version of the older micro SD. What I want to know is, can I use this Micro SD SDHC on my Blackberry 8330 since it says it is not backwards compatible or is the 8330 able to run it?
Thanks
Solved!
Go to Solution.
Anything bigger than 2Gb is MicroSDHC. It simply stands for High Capacity. You can use the Micro SDHC.

I need help to decide which macbook pro is best for photo editing, editing movies and doing all the rest too like microsoft office products ...excel, word etc. I am new to the apple world and have liked the idea of the MAC Book Pro 13" but really dont know if this is good enough or if the computer will soon crash?
13-inch: 2.6GHz
with Retina display
Specifications
2.6GHz dual-core Intel Core i5
Turbo Boost up to 3.1GHz
8GB 1600MHz memory
512GB PCIe-based flash storage1
Intel Iris Graphics
Built-in battery (9 hours)2That's a fine machine and, with 8GB of RAM and 512GB flash storage should serve you well for light video/photo editing as well as for 'normal' usage. And it should last you for years to come.
Good luck in making your decision!!

I need help on deciding a New gaming computer!
I need help on deciding which pc would be best for running valve games from bestbuy...I dont care whether a laptop or a pc i just want to play tf2 with smooth gameplay. my price range is 1200 and less
For Team Fortress 2, the requirements to run it on Steam are:
1.7 GHz Processor
512 RAM
DX8 Video card
Recommended is
3 GHz Processor
1 Gig RAM
DX9 Video Card
So, you could easily buy a desktop PC for around $400 to $500
Here's some to look at:

http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=9156478&type=product&id=1218038551741
I would recommend a desktop for gaming over a laptop because you'll have the ability to upgrade the video card down the road (all of these PC's have a PCI Express slot available) and more importantly, better heat dissipation (plus you can usually add additional case fans if necessary). Plus, the cost is half that of a laptop. But if you need it to be portable, then you'll have to look at the laptops, and if you do that, consider a laptop chiller to keep it cool.
Also, look at the AMD processor systems. Most systems in the lower price range incorporate onboard graphic solutions. Most games want either an ATI or Nvidia solution for 3D graphics, pixel shading, etc. The Intel Graphics Solution won't run those games at all. Also, I would avoid any mini-case desktop PCs (slimlines), because they tend to run hotter inside, some graphic cards will not fit inside them, and some have non-standard size components (such as the motherboard, power supply, etc.
IMHO - I would spend what is necessary to run the games you want at a comfortable margin and save the extra money for down the road upgrades or a replacement system when you encounter a game you really want to play that won't run on your system.
Hope the info helps.... Good luck with your purchase! -
Hi, I had recently purchased ipad3 and but obviously have been having issues with heating up and some minor issues with video playback etc. Apple has agreed to replace my device. I need help in deciding whether i should get a new ipad3 or opt for ipad2. Seller is willing to replace it with ipad2 as well..
Have also heard that the ipad3 revamped version is around along with the mini pad rumor..too much information - lot's of confusion pls helpLindsay,
Your iBookG4 is still a pretty awesome Mac. Like already said, it has the power to run Leopard, but it depends if you have an internal DVD drive.
Then I suppose you have to add up the cost of the OS, perhaps another 512MB RAM, iLife 08 and replacements for any favourite apps that you currently use (Leopard breaks a lot of stuff, but Intel breaks even more). Compare it to the cost of a new MacBook, which wil have all of that included and be 3-4x faster too.
It also depends on what you want to achieve with your iBook. My PMG4 still cuts it today, I still use it in preference to my new Mac Pro, It's about the same age as your iBook, and I'll only stop using it when it becomes "painfully" slow. My 1 year old son currently uses the Mac Pro (parts for a Mac Pro are easier to replace than those for a PMG4).
I think your choice is simple, if you can a cheap copy of Tiger, use that, it'll get your iPod Touch up and running. It came in DVD and 4 CD version (by request).
Leopard will work for you too but a lot of the best eye-candy requires quite a meaty graphics card and you may need a RAM upgrade and replacement software - OS9 Classic is not supported in Leopard. -

Need help on deciding which Mac I should buy
Alright, so I have a very important decision I need to make and I really need help making it.
My two choices:
Choice 1: My first choice is that I have $1378 dollars to buy a MacBook. My choice is the MacBook air 13" with 128 GB hard drive, 8 GB Memory, and 1.7 GHz processor.
Choice 2: My Dad does not want his MacBook Air 11" base model from 2012. He is willing to give it to me. In return, I will give him the $1378 and he will buy himself a $400 laptop from that. Then he will buy me a 500 GB Thunderbolt hard drive and a thunderbolt to hdmi adaptor for the MacBook Air. The remaining money will then go to me.
Either choice I take, I need a computer fast enought to do serious video editing with Final Cut Pro and Multi-tasking. Also, it needs to last 3 years. Which choice should I take. I have one week to decide. Either way, my dad will pay for my Mac OS X Mavericks Update. The processors in the new MacBook Airs are not that much more powerful than the 2012 models, the real difference is in the battery life. When you say your dad has the base model, I'm assuming that is the 4 GB RAM/64 GB SSD version. You would be cutting it close on storage space, but the external Thunderbolt drive would make up for that. 4 GB RAM is also cutting it close, especially for video editing, but I hear the flash storage on the MacBook Airs helps compensate for that.
If it were me, I would go with option 2, considering you should have a pretty good chunk of change left over once your dad buys his laptop and your Thunderbolt accessories. -
Help retrieving my video from Memory card
Hello, there!
I need your help from some good professionals here,
I got stock in past with this product for many different reasons,
I have CS2 running under Windows XP Profesional,
I just bought a SONY HD Camcorder Comsumer version,
uses stick Memory to record video
My primere Pro CS2 Has HD Presets for wide screen mode, that's ok
the question I have is:
My sony Camcorder came with its software to capture the video from camcorder " I guess " or maybe to edit video,
but, looking at the Memory card from Windows, I can see the files in the card.
question is:
what's the best way to get the video HD from my Camcorder?
to play back the video from my camcorder and capture it in Premiere Pro CS2 using HD Presets?
or
Can I import the video files from the memory card and import them into Premiere pro CS2 using HD Presets?
or
how would you do this?
what software version is the best to work with video files from this Memory card?
Please, explain
I've been out dated
from this video Package
Thanks
FreddyUnfortunately Premiere Pro 2 does not support video from from a memory card.

Need help in deciding the right SAP certification.
Hello Expert,
Need some help in deciding upon an SAP certification. I am 4+ years experienced in SAP ABAP. Is there any value add in doing ABAP certification or should i go ahead and do something on the lines of Netweaver, MDM or CRM ???
Please advise.
Thanks and Regards,
Josin GeorgeHi Josin
CRM surely has a good future so you could spend time and efforts in learning more into that on the job.
As for certification, I recommend that you work for more 2 years and go for the Professional certification (ABAP) rather than "Associate". It will be a value addition for sure.
Please search these forums and also take others' opinions relating to CRM / ABAP certifications.
Cheers!

Message Edited by aakashk95 on 07-Jan-2009 08:44 AMIf your phone is an S40 phone (which it is in your case) and you don't have a USB card reader then your only options are to remember the password (somebody set one even if it wasn't you) or to buy a new memory card.

Upgrading my MPB.. Please help me decide with the graphics card
Hi Guys
I have got a late 2007 model MBP Santa Rosa 2.2 Ghz 2 Gb RAM and 128 Mb NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT video card
I am planning to upgrade my MBP. I just want to know that how is the performance of NVIDIA GeForce 9400M integrated graphics processor 256 Mb compared to my dedicated one. I do normal photo and video editing and DONT play any games at all.. I sometimes feel that my this MBP is a bit laggy when I use photoshop or something.
If the integrated one that is standard on MBP's is quite good to what I generally do (which I have mentioned above), then I wont look into getting the one with dedicated Graphics as I need to save money.
I have tried looking on the internet but I cant find anyone who can give direct comparison between these two in MBP
Please suggest!!!
Thanks heaps!Hey Singh,
If you're looking for completely anecdotal evidence, I can help with that. I recently purchased the 2.8 GHz 17" MacBook Pro with the dual 9400M (256MB shared/9600GT (512MB dedicated) graphics cards. I user Photoshop and iPhoto a lot, a little iMovie and some Final Cut Pro. I also do quite a bit of video encoding, DVD rips and conversions to iPhone format. I prefer my PS3 for gaming and never do so on the Mac.
What I have noticed is that I can really tell the difference in graphics performance when encoding video and not much any other time. A slight exception is with hardcore Photoshop filters. For those two things I'm glad I can switch to the dedicated 512 card especially when time is a concern. It's also really nice to be able to choose between horsepower and battery life if necessary.
All that being said, if I was getting a 15" MBP I would forgo the extra graphics card and spend the money on more RAM which seems to make a bigger difference in what I do. The 17" did not have an option like that so I have the dual card and a lot of screen real estate. That reminds me, I use the additional 24" LED Cinema display and do not notice any difference when running the extra monitor.
My girlfriend owns the 13" MacBook Pro with the 256MB integrated graphics and iMovie and Photoshop run very nicely and are vastly improved in comparison to her old white MacBook. I have owned the 2007 model MBP Santa Rosa 2.2 Ghz and the new 13" 2.2 6GHz MBP is noticeably quicker in all respects.
In conclusion I would say that the dedicated graphics card is a must for anything in Final Cut Studio (Motion, FCP, DVD Studio Pro) or anything 3D, but for typical Photoshop use, iMovie, etc. you'd be better off with more RAM if you had to choose. If you don't have to pick between the two, get the 512MB card with 8GB of RAM and sleep tight knowing that if your Mac is too slow there's nothing you can do about it hardware wise and you're just too quick
If you're looking for benchmark tests, this article is good http://www.macworld.com/article/141144/2009/06/macbookprobenchmarks.html
Hope that helps! -
Need help with deciding on witch phone to get
Need some help with figuring out what phone to get? I’ am set on getting the DroidX and my wife wants the Droid 2. So here is my question? The Droid 2 is showing it can expand out to 40Gig has a drop down keyboard ect but what I don’t see is that it can do GPS.
Can the DroidX memory be expanded bigger the 16 gig. I have lot of questions just need some answers

I would love to go play with one. But I’m currently deployed over sea’s with the Navy right now due to come home back to the states in a few months and I’m looking for a new phone, the one’s in Japan suck and so does the service. Can’t wait for an American phone. I compared both phones on the version website and it shoed the Droid x to support VZ navigator. And it showed the Droid 2 to be expandable to 40 gig. My wife wants the keyboard I personally don’t like the drop down keyboard. Is there any thing else you all can tell me every body has been extremely helpfully. But at this point it looks like I’m going with the droid X and my wife will be getting the Droid 2. What about sound, camera is the touch screen accurate?
Thank you for serving the U.S. Navy!
I hope you do enjoy the new Droid X and your wife enjoys the Droid 2. Remember this....you both have 30 days to try out the phone. If you don't like for whatever reason or something is wrong with it just exchange it. This is nice because you can pretty much test out the phone & see if it meets your needs/wants. Not sure about the sound or camera. For touch screen I have read it is pretty responsive. Have you ever owned a touch screen before? If not it may take a little time to warm up to the touch screen part. Just remember, practice makes perfect for typing on the touch screen and other things. I think the Droid X has swype built into it which makes it easier to type on -
Urgent! Need help in deciding data structure to use
Hi all,
I need to implement a restaurant system by which a customer can make a reservation.
I was wondering whether vector would be able to be store such an object, The thing is I don't want a complex data structure. just sumthin simple cos i hardly have anytime left to my submission. sighz...
The thing is I need to able to search based on 2 properties of an object. Eg. I need to search for a reservation based on the customer name and the date he reserved a table.
But I am totally clueless how to search thru a vector based on 2 properties of the object... Would really appreciate some help. Like an example how to so so based on my program. Feelin so lost...This is all I have so far:
