Hey Experts,
Any one has done report on opening stock.
The report should display opening stock, issues, receipts and closing stock for a material.
Any inputs ASAP would be highly appreciated.

Please find the FM below that drives MD04 as well as MS05. For MD04 you need not pass any 'plscn', planning scenario. Please let me know if you need any further help. The table 'e_mt61d'is a little tricky, go through all the fileds and their respective contents before you make your first conclusion.

and if you want group left only and also want to display master once then
put all master fields above but yeah take care of it's master repeting frame
it should not change...

Hi All,
I need help in developing BADI for IT0001.
On IT0001 create or change, there is need to update IT0017 with following data from IT0001
-Company Code
-Cost center
-Business Area
-Begin and End Date.
Other fields from IT0017 need to be derived from Position and update in IT0017.
Please guide me how I can address this. I do not want to go for dynamic action, as it is not getting evoked during background jobs.
I am new to BADI development and will appreciate step by step instructions.

Steps:
1.     Execute Business Add-In(BADI) transaction SE18
2.     Enter BADI name i.e. HRPAD00INFTY and press the display
        button
3.     Select menu option Implementation->Create
4.     Give implementation a name such as Z_HRPAD00INFTY
5.      You can now make any changes you require to the BADI within this
        implementation, for example choose the Interface tab there are 3 methods avialble
6.     Double click on the method you want to change, you can now enter
        any code you require.
7.      Please note to find out what import and export parameters a
        method has got return the original BADI definition
        (i.e. HRPAD00INFTY) and double click on the method name
        for example within HRPAD00INFTY contract is a method
8.      When changes have been made activate the implementation

You need to work with your business to understand what these requirements mean in terms of data modelling and relationships between object entities.
- Some of these metrics should be delegated to source, and calculated in the update routines to your datatargets (aka Cubes/Tables)
- Others could be resolved in the semantic layer (Universe)
- Other will be calculated in the presentation layer as local formulae or variables.
whilst BusinessObjects is a fairly intuitive tool, it may be unreasonble to expect a new learner to deliver an advanced report with conditional formatting.

Yes, i can see datatype and number of columns is same in both queries.
i have challanges to copy message but Error message seems to general. Error says (near to FROM) and I checked there are three FROM in query and all seems to be ok
Query is something like as below

What I understand is you have calculated the avg price and displaying in the report. You now would like to display the report on Avg Price 'Ascending'.
I suggest,
1. You can use 'Condition' to display only those records with 'Top N' OR 'Bottom N' option on Avg Price.
2. You can use 'Exceptions' in the query design. Like Avg Price less than equal to 20 is 'GOOD1' Avg Price between 21 and 50 is 'Good 2' ... etc. Else

I need some help on developing the custom connector to Homegrown application and the version i am using is OIM9.0.3
First of all what are the steps do we need to care while developing a custom connector.
I can't able to find the process in google to develop the custom connector.

I referred in OIM9.1 version there was an option to develop the Custom connector by using Genric technology, can we create the custom connector by using the GTC feature in OIM 9.1

you may not be able to avoid the excel part, but I guess it is worth a try. Take a look at using a query tool to look at the table name PLAF, you could additionally join this table to MAKT for the full material description and perhaps VBAK if you need sales order related header data which may be tied to your planned orders

Have installed AGENT 10.1.0.5 for managing targets which are on LINUX 2.1
Please help me in getting the solution for the following queries:
(a)I need to create a custom report regarding the CAPACITY MANAGEMENT .
(b)I have some UDM defined but I am not able to use these UDM while creating custom report.
(c)Also is there any possibility that we can use views other than REPOSITORY VIEWS. What I meant was : instead of using REPOSITORY VIEWS can we use the tables of the target instances.

Hi AbhinavSultania,
According to your description, you created a report and added background image to it, you want to display the image at right side of the report and display text on the image.
According to my knowledge, we could not control position of background image, as a workaround, we can refer to the following steps:
Create an image with the blue line at right side of it using Paint.
Right-click body of the report to open Body Properties dialog box, then import the image as background image.
Drag text box from Toolbox to the blue line of the image. Right-click inside of the text box and click Expression, we can use expression to show dynamic contents at runtime.

Need help in getting UM report

Hi Champs,
Can any one help to get the report ?
how to run a report against Exchange UM in order to display who has recorded a custom greeting versus those that have not done anything?
we need to be able to report on which users have recorded their new voicemail greeting versus those who still have the default message.
