Need help on forms on order by clause
Hi All,
I have 2 blocks. one control block and one data block.
I perform the search in control block and get the result in detail block.
There is search button in control block. when u click on that it call a package and returns data using for loop.
I have 5 columns and i would like to order by one column after the retrival of data.
the data is like this
Name Id Maths Physics English
name1 123 0 12 15
name2 456 15 0 0
name3 111 0 0 0
Could I get the the maths not null value first.
I tried SET_BLOCK_PROPERTY('block',order_by,:table.col3);
was getting null error

loop.Is the detail block a data block or not? From your description of it being populated in a loop from a package, it is not. You get the data back in an array and write it into the table using NEXT_RECORD in a loop. O
OBVIOUSLY you can't use the block property. The block property is for when you are using forms as it is intended, using the built-in functionality of execute_query. The ordering is done when the data is fetched, not when the rows on the screen are filled in.

Need to copy the current order-by clause of a report.
Situation:
- I have a report with a default sort setting, and sortable column headers.
- User navigates to page with this report.
- Report page renders in default sort setting.
- User changes sort (clicks on one of the column headers).
I now want to create a button (and process) to copy the current report data including the sort it is in right now. For this I need to somehow find out what the current order-by clause is of the rendered report.
I'm looking into always saving the REQUEST in an application item in case the request is LIKE 'fsp_sort%'. And then parse this value in the process.
Any better way of doing this?

Good morning everyone,
I need help please
someone who has handled expiry of session in form 6i
I am using a library called D2KWUTIL.PLL
and triggers When-new-form-instance and When-timer-expired.
The problem I have is that the screens flash forms text boxes, I realized that this is for the trigger When-timer-expired
and believe that my timer every 1 second, the issue is to control the inaction and close all forms.
Help me if you know another way to handle session expiration.

I am told (error msg) that these methods, etc. are not valid for the "form" component
Does anyone now how to create a search functionality in a jspf page using components, be it "markup" layoutPanel, Form or whatever..

Need Help on Forms Personalization
Hi All,
I am doing personalization on Sales Order Form.When i select Order Type as 'Mixed' i have to display salesperson as "No Sales Credit" in the form.But when i click on lov of salesperson field it is giving list of values. But i need only one item in the list i.e "No Sales Credit" when i select order type as 'MIXED'.For this i am trying to restrict lov of salesperson through Create Record Group from Query Built-in.But where can i put condition as Order Type as 'Mixed' in that personalization.
Can anyone please help me out.
Is there any posssible way to do this.

First, you need to put 'Order Type' as Mixed in the Query Where clause of 'Create Record group from Query', and then you need to atatch a new Record group to the LOV with property:
Object Type: LOV
Target Object: <OLD LOV ON FORM>
Property name: GROUP_NAME
Value: 'customized Record Group Name'.

Need help with form calculations
I'm converting a non-editable PDF form into an editable one and could use some help as I'm am new to this. Note: I did not create the non-editable form, It's a form I downloaded and use in my business.
I already figured out how to create text fields in the already created PDF non-editable form, now I'm trying to add in calculations. I can create the (value is the) calculations between 2 or more text fields, but now I need to multiply one text field by the number 3 and have the answer show up in another text field.
Example:
I'll use the letters A & B for the text filed names in my example.
I have text field A calculating the sum of other text fields using the (value is the sum of) option under the (calculate properties box.)
Now I want text field B to multiply text field A by a fixed number of 3. (A=24) x 3=72. I need text field B to have the answer of 72 in it.
I need text field B to always multiply text field A by 3.
Does anyone know how I can accomplish this?
I'm using Adobe 8 Pro.
Please note that I have no experiance using custom calculation script if that is the only way this will work and will step by step instruction on how to write the code.

Where "A" the the exact name of the A field. It is best to avoid spaces and any other special characters for any fields that you'll want to include when using simplified field notation option. -

Use the tables EKKO, EKPO and fetch the data and display.
On the basic list display the only EKKO data of the Purchase orgn
and in the second list Interactive use the EKPO details and do the totals.
Sort based on EKORG field and do the sums for Amount fields.

Need help on Forms Customization
Hi All,
I have one requirement i.e I developed one form which contails 3 windows.First window is for Query_Find, second one is for orders Summary and third window is for detail.In detail window i have one stacked canvas which displays order details in tabular form.i have written code for inserting data into one custom table in ON-INSERT and ON-UPDATE trigger of that block.
and Commit_Form in the KEY-COMMIT trigger.My requirement if i check the chekbox and change the status(List item ) from status field and when i click on save button it's saving the changes.But i don't want to save the changes at this time.
How can we restict save changes at this point?
Can any one plzz give me some idea.

In the When-Button-Pressed trigger just check the value of the CheckBox and the Status field value before you call the Commit_Form built-in or Commit. But what about if the user clicks on the Save button in the Menu? What if the user uses Ctrl+S to save. You would also want to perform a similar check in the Key-Commit Form level trigger if you want to prevent the "Save" from these options as well.

Need help: playing songs in order, strangewindow message, upgrading I-Tunes
I have 2 situations I hope someone can help me with:
1: PLAYING SONGS IN ORDER; WINDOW MESSAGE
I have CDs of music that when I load them onto my pc laptop the song names don’t come up—each song lists as “track 01” “track 02” etc.
When I try to play the album thru I-Tunes on my laptop, the songs won’t play in order. i.e. ALL the “track 02”s will play before going to “track 03,” then ALL the “track 03”s will play, etc. So I made a playlist of each CD.
Now when I try to play the Playlist, I get a window message that says, “The song “Track 01” could not be used because the original file could not be found. Would you like to locate it?” I can choose ‘yes’ or ‘cancel.’ YES takes me to folder selections. I find the song and click on it and then it plays.
There must be an easier way. I don’t want to search for each song one at a time in order to play an entire CD in order.

I need to upgrade. I have I-TUNES 7.0.2. I went online to apple.com and couldn’t find any upgrade option, so I clicked on “download I-tunes”. I got a window that says “download complete.” But how do I tell if it’s really installed? Where do I go on my computer to see what version number it shows?

1. You have done something that has confused iTunes about the location of the files in its library. Without knowing what happened, it's hard to make a specific recommendation, but if you moved your files around manually, move them back, and then, if you want to change the location, do it only by setting it in iTunes preferences and then using Consolidate Library. -

You may want to look at the Sample Code example that is part of the 2005A Business One SDK that shows and external Business One interface written in VB.Net that shows how to create a Sales Order/Invoice in SAP Business One. This example can be found at: Start > Programs > SAP Business One > SDK > Samples > COM DI > 05. OrderAndInvoice. For complete training on the processes you are asking about from within the SAP Business One product, you can reveiw the SAP Business One eLearning product training if you are and SAP Business One partner in the areas that you have outlined at service.sap.com/smb.

Need help to find my order number
I have ordered a Samsung washer and dryer on about three weeks ago and paid for it thru my bestbuy credit card.I need my order number to be able to check my order status, but it seems i have lost the receipt.I just created an account in bestbuy website, but it doesnt show in my "purchase history" under my account either.Is there anyway i can have my order number?

You will most definitely need an order number if you want to check the status of your order. I pulled up your purchase history using the email address you registered with the forum, but could not find a purchase for a Samsung washer and dryer. I will need some additional information from you, so I will be sending you a private message. Need help in cancelling a order
Hey, I ordered a 15" MBP yesterday morning, but have now realised that it would make much more sense to order the 17" one instead. The problem is that despite my order page stating that it will not ship for 3 days and having an estimated delivery date of two weeks from now (23rd) it will not let me cancel the order as it says they have been prepared for shipment. I ordered a slightly upgraded HD, but two weeks! I really don't want to wait for it to come and then have to send it back. Is there anything I can do?
Glad to see you're getting a new MBP... However, while you are trying to determine what you need to do to change your order, have you seen the MBP 15 and MBP 17 in person?
There is a big difference, and when I recently purchased mine, I went with the 15 as the 17 would be very bulky to handle normally.. However if you are stationary then you'll do fine.
Additionaly one other difference as you may know already is that the MBP 15 has a SD card slot, where the MBP 17 does not instead it has the express bus port for add-on devices.
I'm just trying to help, as I went for the high end MBP 15 and decided to save a few hundred by doing such... I can't complain about my decision and from having 17" PC based laptops, I like the portability factor of the 15" so much more.
Hope that kind of helps, but if your set you will need to call apple to corect.. -
Need Help Solving a 2nd order Differential Equation
I need to write a computer program in MATLAB to solve the following 2nd order differential equation:

I can't remember which method I'm supposed to use to get an equation for y(r)? Once I know the method... I'm sure I can implement it.

Need help getting form created in Acrobat X to email form data back to me
The form I created seems to work from my computer that has Acrobat X installed but when I try to submit the PDF with a computer that only has Reader installed it says "This Operation is Prohibited."
The end users of this form will most likely only have Adobe Reader, how do I set up my form so that it is compatible with Reader?
Thanks for your help!You have 2 choices and one depends on your satisfying the limits of the EULA (no more than 500 submissions basically). For the latter, you have the entire form submitted and you have to enable Reader Rights in Acrobat. On this machine (AA8), it is under the Advanced menu, not sure with AAX (I think they moved it). For the other choice that does not have the license limit, you do not activate Reader Rights, but have the data submitted as an FDF file (XML if you are using Designer, but then Designer questions should really go to the LiveCycle forum). When you receive the FDF or XML file, you simply go to the forms menu in Acrobat > Manage Data, and import the data. The FDF Toolkit also allows separate manipulation of data files.
