Need help on Info Cube.

Hi All,
I have a query on designing the Cube.
My Requirement :
I have Standard ODS and the keyfigures in ODS are
1. Service Order Number.
2. User Status.
3. User Date.
4. User Time
Data field in ODS is
1. Active Flag.
Active flag gives the information of the current status for each service Order.
User Status is the status of each service Order.
User Date and User time gives the information about at what time date and time, the
status is set.Right now the history of data is available in ODS.
Sample data in ODS.

In my report i want to show only the service Order which is in Closed Status and also Active Flag =A only. Due to Overwrite option, i am getting only one Active Status.If i create a report on ODS, i am getting the right data and it is working fine.I have filter with ACTIVE FLAG =A and in report it is showing only the Active Status of the service Order.
Suppose if i load the same data to the Cube, I cant get the expected one.

In Cube there will be multiple data with the Active Flag = A. As the propert of the Cube is additive, for one service order there are multiple Active Status. As Client has suggested to develop the report only on Cube.How can i achieve this in Info Cube.

So i got an Iphone 5, and i accedently droped it in the sink. i took it out, whipped it off, i put it in my pocket and left it alone.

I don't beleive this is a known problem and you should probably bring your phone to a local Genius Bar (make an appointment here) as this is likely a hardware issue (a problem with your phone realizing that you removed it from your ear).
If you're willing to tinker with it a bit, you can determine if this is a software issue by backing up your iPhone (separately ensure your photos, videos and music is backed up) and then "Restore" your phone. If the restoration solves the problem, you're dealing with a software issue. If the problem still exists, you're almost definitely dealing with a hardware issue.

Need help with Logistics Cubes( 0SD_C0* ) and extraction

Hi,
we are implementing the CRM Sales solution and already sales related data in the CRM Sales cube ( 0CSAL_C03) and ODS( 0CRM_SALO).
However , the delivery and billing are done in the back end ECC system, I need to extract the billing and delivery related data from ECC as well as Sales order over view as well.
I have found the following
0SD_C03 : Sales : Overview
0SD_C02 : Deliveries
But I haven't found anything for the billing( only found ODS 0SD_C06 for condition data).
I need to report on the sales oder, deliveries and billing qty amt etc can anybody help me with the right object(cubes, ods, data source) to choose from the business content.

Thanks for your reply. I would try to use all the info sources ( ypou have mentioned only the item level data) as you mentioned to feed the cube 0SD_C03.
However can you please let me know why didn't you include the info source for the header data(example 2lis_11_vahdr) ?..
Also I have already populated the OCSAL_C03 ( Sales Order cube data from the CRM system). Please let me know whether you have any model already developed or BKM to join data in BW that is from both CRM and ECC.
Also can you please confirm whether The following infocources are invalid and
2LIS_01_S260: SD - Sales order
2LIS_01_S261: SD Delivery
2LIS_01_S262: SD - Billing document
2LIS_01_S263: SD - Sales order / delivery
replaced by the
2lis_11_va* 2lis_12_vc* and 2lis_13_vd* series.

upgrade is the wrong word (you can't upgrade from 32 to 64)you can install 64 bit you can use the lenovo disc to just write over whats on your HDD or you can formate your HDD then install 64 bit using the lenovo media info is here http://support.lenovo.com/en_US/downloads/detail.page?DocID=HT002492 Edit: everything you need is on the disc...drivers & Apps, windows once you get it installed run system update to get system drivers up to date

Need help formatting info.

I've been trying to save a temp. reading every 5 secs. I have a daqbook w/ a dbk82 using 15 type T thermocouples.With the example i hae the text file saves as so, 5 secs, 10 secs, 15secs..etc then the temps. also it isn't taking just one reading from each channel, its taking more like 10. how do i get 1 reading taken from each chaael every 5 secs....without lagging the rest of the system for 5 secs.

What hardware are you using to read the temperature? Is the dbk82 hardware that acquires temperature or are you using National Instruments hardware?
Your example just has the file I/O stuff and doesn't contain anything relating to the acquisition. If you have NI hardware you are acquiring with and are having problems I could help you out with that.
It seems to me that you will just need to acquire 1-point at a time in the case structure. You have the case structure setup to write to the file every 5 seconds, so if you read one point within the case structure and write that to file within the case structure, this should solve your problem. If you are using an NI DAQCard, you could use the 'AI Sample Channels VI' within the case which takes one
sample from each channel each time it's called.

Need help with info about the possibility of altering images when saved in a different format

I am very new to the design world. I have a printing business and received and image to be printed in Adobe Acrobat (I think). I needed to resize the image to be printed and took it into Photoshop CS6 where I cropped the edges. I then resave it as a PDF and took into a printer software, Fiery. Fiery has an Impose function where you can repeat an image to layout it on the correct paper size. It essentially just copies the original image several times depending on the layout. This particular image I repeated to 3 up and 1 across. When printed it came out with a magenta streak through the center image only. I have had the machine checked and they are adamant it's not a printer issue but a software issue. That once I altered the original image by resizing it that I altered the image and that I can't expect it to come out as seen on the screen. I've printed it all sorts of different ways and it only occurs with the 3 up 1 across image. I know that images can be changed when saved from program to program but this situation does not make sense that it is only the one area and layout that this shows up. I would appreciate any help, input, answers that anyone has. Again, I'm new to this and would like to understand if this is a potential for further printing jobs so that I can do what I need to avoid this situation.

Without knowing how the original graphic was created it is hard to tell you how to handle it. What is the name of the file? (Only the file suffix is important). If the file's origin was in a drawing program and/Or InDesign, then the document should be handled differently if the document is a raster image best handled by a program like Photoshop.

New-Buddy to JSF: Need Help and Info

Today, I just started with the JSF book... and am finding it a little too hot and complex to handle.
Specially, may be, because of experience with ASP.Net (also being a contributor to Mono project). Here I have some direct questions:
1. Cannot I get away with yet another configuration file: The faces-config file?
2. It is mandatory to have the scope of the bean defined in the config file?
3. For any custom tag, do all the attributes and blah blah needs to be in the TLD file? Cannot it be loaded dynamically? I mean.. everytime I add a new class, I must update the TLD file. Don't you think that sucks?

Need help deleting SD cube/ods content from March on

Hi,
I need to delete the SD Cubes and ODSs content that was loaded into BW from March 1st on.
These infoproviders are loaded by the following extractors:
2LIS_13_VDITM
2LIS_13_VDHDR
2LIS_12_VCHDR
2LIS_12_VCITM
2LIS_11_VAHDR
2LIS_11_VAITM
All of them are updated by Direct Delta. I've been told this updated method writes the SD documents to the delta queue as they are created.
So, I've thought about using 0CREATEDON field as deletion criteria.
I would like to know if I can assume that I would delete all the records from March on by using 0CREATEDON as deletion criteria or If I would have to use additional/others fields as criteria. I'm not so sure about it yet.

You can use 0CREATEDON to delete all the loaded requests from March. Or, you can even check all the requests in the ODS and Infocube that were loaded after March1st and manually delete the requests.

I hope there is someone out there that could help me.
I have a Zire 31 and I use XP. I had to reinstall recently XP at my PC and I can’t now HotSync using cradle cable. Every time I try I get a message error mentioning that the hardware could not be installed or the device attached at the USB did not function properly. The “weird” thing is that I can do the HotSync operation on my netbook.
I updated my XP fully but still no way to be able to bring all my date from m handheld to my PC.

Need help/advice/info on displaying progress msg in multithreaded MIDP

So I have this kind of MIDlet:
1. Using multi-threading feature to access remote web service/JAX-WS. The threads retrieve strings from GlassFish, connected to a MS SQL Server 2008 database.
2. The retrieved strings are to be stored within the MIDlet's RMS. Done perfectly until this phase.
3. The buggy thing is, WHILE the retrieving threads are alive/running and storing strings to RMS, I want to display some progress messages/bars to a Form by StringItem/TextField.
So I thought- it may be caused by the thread deadlocks, but it's not. WITHOUT the RMS storing strings, it flows OK.
(Because the progress msg alteration to the Form is done (I think) by my created threads, thus no deadlock occured.)
But WITH the RMS operating, it freezes on the "Confirmation/Yes-No" Form right before I press the Yes button.
Only when the whole threads are finished/terminated, it's then jumped to "Process Completed" Form.
(I get the feeling it jumped to each progress msg by miliseconds RIGHT AFTER all threads are finished, then to "Process Completed"
which is something I don't want to happen)
So I'm wondering how to get around this prob? Whose thread is it that operating the RMS?

hi, i have an application which takes pretty long to
run. The process basically consists of several sql
statements. My idea was to display a message box just
before the process starts saying something like "in
progress... please wait". Anyway i created a message
box using jdialog but the problem now is, it just
displays and empty box, the message is displayed only
when the process has finished running which is
useless. if i use the msg box elsewhere, it runs just
fine, only when it is placed before a block of long
running code (e.g a very big loop) it just does not
display the text.
Can anyone please advise me on this issue, thanks!If you don't want to get into threads and things like that, try the following?
1. Add some delay between the message box request and start of the query.
Like
for (int i = 0; i < 100000; i++) {} // you have to experiment with the limit. A second's worth should be enough to see if this makes any difference.
2 Add the method repaint(); after the message request.
3 Add the method repaint(); and delay after the message request but before the query request.

What's interesting to me is that an empty box is drawn. So my guess is if enough time (a second say) is given, the message box will be drawn completely. (Of course, I'm not sure.)

Need help with info about Z87 MPOWER MAX

Im coming from LGA 775. Dying for an upgrade. Im going with the intel 4770k and msi Z87 MPOWER MAX board. I noticed the board has two 8-pin cpu power ports. Why is this? Im using my old PSU which is a 1200 watt still kicking so im saving money here until a few more months...
So the real concern is I really don't know why there are 2 8-pin power ports for the CPU... Can anyhone school me on that please. Thanks in advance..

My mpower max will sometimes not boot up - when I press the power switch there is no response at all, no fans. Usually when this happens, both the red and blue leds (which indicate which gear the OC Genie operates at) are lit.
I get the system to boot by removing the 24 pin power cable, removing and replacing one stick of ram, hook up the power, then I can use the switch to turn on as normal.
My psu is Corsair AX1200 and is not very old. Do you think I am having the problem you mentioned? or some other issue? Bios is latest, 1.6

The file format should be same as you want to upload. The sequence of File format should be same communication structure.
Like,
Initial columns with Characteristics (ex: plant,location,customer,product)
date column (check for data format) (ex: calander)
Last columsn with Key figures (history qty)

Take the memory card out of the camer and put it in a card reader. When it mounts on the desktop select it and try to change the name. However, that might make it incompatible with the camera. You'll just have to try and see.
