Need help on Inline view

Hi All,
I've 2 tables say Emp,Dept..i would like to write a query like this:
select * from dept d,(select empno,ename,sal,mgr from emp e where e.deptno = d.deptno) e
where d.deptno = e.deptno
I would like to use the deptno from Dept table in from cluse of emp table,and filter some data and again i would like to check again,
- Can you plz let me know whether the conditions am using here are right or not ?
- How can use the same conditioin
- Can we able to use the value from One table to where clause of another table in from clause.
Please help me on th above .

Conditions you are using here are wrong.
We Can not use the value from One table to where clause of another table in from clause.
You can use the same conditioin as below
select * from dept d, emp e
where d.deptno = e.deptnoRegards,
