Need help, Photo appear sync in itunes but there are no photos on my ipad 2

Hi,
I need some advise, recently upgraded my itunes to iTunes 10 and at the same time I added new photos to my laptop( running on windows vista) pictures file.
I wanted to sync the photos from my laptop to my ipad, but in the end, on my itunes, it appear all photos are synced but on my ipad there are no photos at all.
Tried reinstalling iTunes, deleted the ipod photo cache and reset my ipad... and it still doesn't work!!
Any one can help??
Appreciate if only can help with this issue....

Did you restore to factory settings?new iPod via iTunes on this computer?
What happens when you try to sync?
Do the songs play in iTunes?
Do you have the right boxes checked to sync?

This means you have 4Gb of photos in your trash.
Go to Photos - recently deleted (an option in the same menu as "camera roll" and "photo stream") and finally delete the photos.
The 4Gb of space will then be cleared.

I Had it on my iPod, but I reset to factory settings and it got deleted :( If I find a way to get it back, I'll post it here so you can too.

Secondly, the power button on the iphone is broken so i can't set the recovery mode on the phone.

I recently purchased a new MacBook Pro. I currently have about 33,000 photos on an older MBP. I created a vault (I thought) of my old Aperture library and saved it to my Time Machine. I restored it to the new MBP, which took forever, but after the restore the projects and albums I created show up on the new MBP but there are no photos. In the 'About My Mac' storage settings it says there is 162.68 GB of photos on my computer (which is the same size as the photos on my old MBP). How do I find them?!

If you want to remove the movies & videos from your iPod Nano in order to transfer to your computer, connect your iPod Nano to your computer. Double click your iPod Nano icon. My system trash finally emptied when I discovered "trash it!" is not longer supported by the most recent osx. Then I found an updated version of Onyx that did work with that trash emptying problem.
I have a total of 5,723 photos in my library. A macdevelopers group recently started suggesting a multi library manager for iphoto to overcome some kind of library quota limitations with iphoto as opposed to "more advanced" photo handling, storing and editing programs. If I went to a mult library manager for iphoto would that cure the apparent incongruent data retrieval problem in iphoto 11 regarding 13,346 phantom photos that will not securely delete?
Are there any other possible solutions out there?

Try the following:
1 - delete the iPhoto preference file, com.apple.iPhoto.plist, that resides in your
User/Home/Library/ Preferences folder.
2 - delete iPhoto's cache file, Cache.db, that is located in your
User/Home/Library/Caches/com.apple.iPhoto folder (Snow Leopard and Earlier).
or with Lion and Mt. Lion from the User/Library/Containers/com.apple.iPhoto/
Data/Library/Caches/com.apple.iPhoto folder
3 - launch iPhoto and try again.
NOTE 1: If you're moved your library from its default location in your Home/Pictures folder you will have to point iPhoto to its new location when you next open iPhoto by holding down the Option key when launching iPhoto. You'll also have to reset the iPhoto's various preferences.
NOTE 2: In Lion and Mountain Lion the Library folder is now invisible. To make it permanently visible enter the following in the Terminal application window: chflags nohidden ~/Library and hit the Enter button - 10.7: Un-hide the User Library folder.

I recently switched from PC to Mac and am able to find and transfer most of the larger files of music to iTunes, but there are about 750 songs that are held in sub-files that require me to dig in and transfer them one by one to iTunes.. I've tried transferring the parent folders, but it doesn't seem to work. Does anyone know of a more efficient way of getting iTunes to dig into the subfolders and transfer the music without me having to go one by one?

1.8Gb allocated on my iPhone6Plus but there are no photos

I have tried every recommended suggestion for deleting photos from my iPhone but my problem is....Ram is allocated for photos but none appear in photos on the phone. Using iTunes and connecting the phone, I'm supposed to have 684 photos using 1.8Gb ram but they are not there. I have loaded photo file folders and deleted them using both iTunes and Image Capture. All that works fine but the invisible photos persist in sucking up the ram. I can't clear it. Sure could use some help.

Using 8.2 and 10.10.3

Perhaps you have phantom photos, that are invisible in the Recently Deleted album and thus cannot be deleted. Then resetting the date will help.
There are apparently more users suffering from phantom photos that cannot be deleted: Changing the date makes the photos in "Recently deleted" visible again:

I managed to get rid of the phantom usage. Restoring iPhone and resetting the phone settings/data do not work for me.
I had to move the Date on my phone earlier by 1,2,3 months and found the phantom photos in the Recently Deleted Folder. Next, I deleted the photos manually from the Recently Deleted Folder and the usage got freed up from my iPhone.

you can save a file with the same name by dragging and dropping from iphoto to a Finder folder
but (and there are always buts) you can only do up to 4 photos at a time
any more and you are not given the option
This is the error message you get:
An item named “IMG_8770.JPG” already exists in this location. Do you want to replace it with the one you’re moving?
4 or lesss your options are:
Keep Both Stop Replace
5 or more your options change
Skip Stop Replace
it will add a space and a 2 to the name
IMG_8816.JPG turns to IMG_8816 2.JPG
this is the solution I was looking for; let the computer do the name change

What are the settings in mail to see photos that were sent- then email recepient replies back w/ comments but there are no photos to know which one they are commenting about. how do i see what was sent when they reply? thanks for your help

ex: send pictures to friends, they reply w/ comments, but have no idea which pictures they are commenting on because they do not sho up in a reply.

Did you ever get a reply to this. I have the same problem. I have the same problem when even when I reply to an email... no photo shows up in my new reply message. The only way I have figured out is to use the "forward" option.
But this still does not solve the problem when people email me back... I have no idea what photo they are speaking of. Instead of a photo... there is a <photo name of some sort>.
Let me know if you ever hear on this one.
