Need help...(pooping sound)

my speaker produce 'poop' sound when i played my music loudly. its like something explode in my subwoofer. for info my speaker's model is inspire 5.1 5200. hope u guys can help me.....

Yea, I have 5.1, but when, and only when, I play music from iTunes it only plays out of two speakers. Trust me, I have done all the diagnostics(sp) and everything is fine. I've just been listening to my music through WMP cuz iTunes 7 blows. I mean, it also takes FOREVER to start up, and it of course slows down my comp like crazy.

    SS,
    You can find these files here:

    Make sure you are license activated, and you will have to dig through the *vi and relink a subvi.

  • Need help no sound during install

    Hi all,
    I am having a problem with installing latest Mac OS 10.4.6 onto the iMac. Since I
    am visually impaired I need to use VoiceOver to help me installing.
    However, when I insert the first DVD into the DVD drive, wait about two minutes just
    for sure then I press command F5 to start VoiceOver. The DVD starts working but
    there is no sound or speech. I even confirmed in finder that it was the first installation
    disk. Any ideas? I have done this thing both on a Mac Mini and a Powerbook.
    Many thanks,
    Chris

    Hi Chris,
    I tested this on my iMac Intel, with my Install DVD. After I saw the first window on the DVD appear I pressed Command plus F5 to activate voice over and nothing happened. There appears to be a glitch.
    The first screen allows you to select the primary language for the Install. The first language in the list is English. I pressed Enter on the numeric keypad to select English. The Installer loaded and as the first screen of the installer appeared the voice said, "Voice over activated." I have never used voice over before, but it appeared to function normally after that.
    I hope this helps you.

  • Need help with Sound Problem

    If you have 1 sound file playing on say frame 1, how do you
    get frame 2 to play a different sound, without playing frame one's
    sound as well? Right now 'frame 2' is playing both sound files. If
    I use the commande 'stopAllSounds' the frame 2 sound file will not
    play either.
    Please help. Thank you.

    The sound once started will play for as long as you loop it
    or as long as its length
    is (if not loop is define). Even sound run independent to
    timeline so if you enter
    frame 2 it will simply play another sound.
    You need to make some on/off switches on frames or actions
    that will control the
    sound. Entering another frame won't do it and using
    stopAllSounds works like purge
    and clear player from all its sounds. The only way to get
    sound back will be by
    reloading the entire movie. One of these actions that not
    many of us are using.

  • Need help with sound scubber

    Could someone please help me out. I am so close to having
    this sound scrubber work.
    Here is what is not working:
    --The slider thumb does not move when the music is playing
    and it should.
    --Also when you slide the slider thumb, the musical score
    (frame) should change and it doesn't.
    This is a bit different from scrubbers for Mp3 or other SWA
    files.
    You can go to
    http://www.bachharpsichord.com/AudioCD.zip
    and get the <1Meg file and xtra (they have to be in the same
    folder and the extra is in demo mode (which is free for all to
    try)).
    When you try to run the program you need to put a music CD in
    your CD drive. The first track should be around 3 minutes. I have
    cuepoints in the program which move to the next frame(page) while
    the music is playing.
    Thank to all you geniuses!!

    Hey jbarwins
    Check to make sure that you are up to date on your computer. Another recommendation would be to try a different cable and also reset the NVRAM on your computer.

    You can find all this information written in motherboard's manual (if you don't have one then normally you can DL the manual from motherboard manufacturers support pages).
    Also, you'll propably can find this information by googling quite easy too (search after reviews of your motherboard model/pc model (if PC is factory build model)).

  • Need Help with Sound Recording

    Hi,
    I'm a Comp. Sys. Eng. student in my final year and I've been trying to record sound with java for a couple of months now and its driving me stupid. I've looked around on just about every java source site I could find and have found many similar examples of sound recording, none seem to work on my machine. The problem is that I keep on getting either IOExceptions, or empty .wav files (as in the code below). The code included below is a shortened and modified version of some code I got from jsresources.org, the full link is http://www.jsresources.org/examples/AudioCommon.java.html.
    I have not had any experience with multimedia in java before.
    Can somebody please tell me what is wrong with this code? or is my java environment to blame?
    Am I declaring my AudioFormat correctly?
    Am I controlling my AudioInputStream correctly?
    I'm using JDK1.4 in eclipse. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

                                       AudioFormat audioFormat,
                                       int nBufferSize)
                   Asking for a line is a rather tricky thing.
                   We have to construct an Info object that specifies
                   the desired properties for the line.
                   First, we have to say which kind of line we want. The
                   possibilities are: SourceDataLine (for playback), Clip
                   (for repeated playback)     and TargetDataLine (for
                   recording).
                   Here, we want to do normal capture, so we ask for
                   a TargetDataLine.
                   Then, we have to pass an AudioFormat object, so that
                   the Line knows which format the data passed to it
                   will have.
                   Furthermore, we can give Java Sound a hint about how
                   big the internal buffer for the line should be. This
                   isn't used here, signaling that we
                   don't care about the exact size. Java Sound will use
                   some default value for the buffer size.
              TargetDataLine     targetDataLine = null;
              DataLine.Info     info = new DataLine.Info(TargetDataLine.class,
                                       audioFormat, nBufferSize);

                             out("AudioCommon.getTargetDataLine(): mixer not found: " + strMixerName);
                             return null;

  • NEED HELP: No Sound / Audio "No Devices Found". Tried many solutions, none work

    I have had this issue two months back, where my internal speakers just stopped working. I have tried all alternatives and what solved my problem was resetting SMC. This time around, I have been watching some videos when all of a sudden my laptop started acting really slow and was responding in delays for about 10-15 seconds and there was no sound. I quit Safari but that didn't help, so I restarted my laptop. After the restart, it keeps showing as "mute" whenever I try to increase/decrease the sound level.
    I have tried the following:
    Restarting
    Inserting Headphones
    Restarting again
    Resetting PRAM
    Resetting SMC
    Deleting com.apple.BezelServices.plist
    Shutting down coreaudiod in the Activity Monitor
    Disabling Adobe Flash Player,
    Re-installing OSX using the Command + R during startup
    Also tried typing this in the Terminal:
    sudo kextunload /System/Library/Extensions/AppleHDA.kext
    sudo kextload /System/Library/Extensions/AppleHDA.kext
    And restarting it another few times for a good measure.
    I've got Mid-2012 Macbook Air and I do not have Boom.
    This is getting pretty frustrating now.

    Also tried typing this in the Terminal:
    sudo kextunload /System/Library/Extensions/AppleHDA.kext
    sudo kextload /System/Library/Extensions/AppleHDA.kext

  • Need help on sound systems to form an ipad band.

    We are hoping to set up a school iPad band but we need some advice re sound systems and connectivity.

    Hi,
    There is no direct route from SAPscript to adobe forms, you can go from SAPscript to smartforms then from smartforms to adobe forms.
    However, the structure of SAPscript and smartforms is very different, so there needs to be a fair amount of manual work after the migration.
    It may be easier to build the adobe form from scratch, using the SAPscript as reference.
    Regards,
    Nick

  • Need help playing sound via AS3

    Hi all,
    First time I have tried playing a sound through AS3. I found an example from kirupa, but for whatever reason I can not get it to play the sound. I'm not getting any errors etc, and I have my .wav file inside the same directory as my .fla/.swf I have tried playing from inside the flash pro interface and from a personal webpage server.
    Is there something that I am missing? I just have a action layer with the below code inside the first from of the movie.
    var soundClip:Sound;
    function init() {
    soundClip = new Sound();
    soundClip.load(new URLRequest("mysound.wav"));
    soundClip.addEventListener(Event.COMPLETE, soundLoaded);
    soundClip.addEventListener(ProgressEvent.PROGRESS, soundLoading);
    init();
    function soundLoaded(e:Event) {
    soundClip.play();
    function soundLoading(e:ProgressEvent) {
    // preloader information goes here
    Any help would be great

    thanks for that kglad that solved that problem. what I am trying to do is play the sound 1 time for a session only. I'll have multiple pages that use the same .swf, I just want the sound to play 1 time when the user first visits and then not to play for all other requests.
    This is an example I found, to you does it look right? I'm not getting any errors, but I'm not getting the sound to play either.
    import flash.net.SharedObject
    //Use anything in place of "sounds"
    var so:SharedObject = SharedObject.getLocal("sounds");
    //Check if the sound has not been played
    //Use anything in place of "specificSoundPlayed"
    if(so.data.specificSoundPlayed == false)
    //Play the sound
    var snd:Sound = new Sound();
    snd.load(new URLRequest("my.mp3"));
    snd.play();
    //Set the shared object property so we know the sound was played
    so.data.specificSoundPlayed = true;

  • Need Help Creating Sound and Subtitle Setup Menu Scripts

    Can someone point me to a tutorial or assist me with completing this menu:
    http://www.aviewofyou.tv/mule/setupmenu.jpg
    Basically, the user gets to pick their audio in stereo or 5.1 as well as whether or not the want to see the subtitles. So it would be cool to set it up so that that after they pick, say, Surround Sound, the script tells the DVD to play the 5.1 track and then places them on the Play Concert button. Same for stereo and subtitles.

    That's easier than you think, and it does not involve scripting.
    Audio section:
    Cllick on a stereo mix button in menu editor. Go to Inspector and chose Audio stream that contains Stereo mix. Set button target to Subtitles off button.
    Do the same for 5.1 mix.
    Subtitles section
    Click on Subtitles off button. In the Inspector select an empty subtitles stream (32 for example) and set button target to Play Concert button
    For Subtitles on button select the true subtitle stream and click "SHOW" box. Set button's target to Play Concert button.
    That's all there is to it.
