Need Help removing text from an image.

I am using illustrator Cs3 version. I have an image of a sun with text in front of it, now I only need the image of the sun to then use in photoshop. How do I remove the text and still have a full-color image of the only the sun? Please Help! (Image below)

I had this problem too but you do not need UAC to be turned on.
Click on start and search for 'uac' in the search box at the bottom and click on 'Change User Account Control Settings' when it comes up. Move the slider to the bottom when the window appears and save the changes and your done!
It's worked for me and my uac has been off for months without causing me any problems!

Before trying to remove try re-installing CS3 right on top of the current install. Often re-installing Photoshop on top of itself fixes the install. If it does be sure to apply the cs3 updates.

Need help REMOVING ALARM FROM ipod.

I use my 3G ipod in my car with an alpine stereo that supports ipods. Every now and then the alarm sets its self and will go off in the middle of the night completely draining my battery by the next morning.
Is there any way I could remove or delete the alarm function from my ipods software?

When you say you want to "remove" pictures from the iPod, do you mean you want to transfer those pictures from your iPod to your new computer? If so, do not erase and sync your iPod as you will lose all those pictures from your iPod for ever.
If you copied photos to your iPod using the full resolution option, enable disk use, open your iPod in "my computer", open the photos folder then open the "full resolution" folder and drag the photos out of that folder to your desktop. For enabling disk use look here.

If you only copied the photos as thumbnails, you can't do this so you'll need a program such as this one.

Photos as thumbnails won't be of the original quality when copied back to your computer.

Need help removing text that is covering the document - Adobe Acrobat Standard X

I am trying to remove "preview only" that is splashed across our document diagonally. I can remove this on my computer which has Adobe Acrobat XI standard with content editing --> edit text and images (a cursor pops up and i can just use the delete button), but not on another computer with Adobe Acrobat X standard. The only thing we could do was add a red line over the "preview only" and delete that red line.
I did try to do my research, but all of the search ideas I was using didn't prove fruitful.
Any help or ideas you could provider, I would certainly appreciate.

Also, are you viewing the file in a browser or downloading it and then opening in Acrobat.
Is the document scanned?

How can I remove text from an image

I was trying to use the magic wand and then inverting but it is not removing the text.
I tried the clone stamp but it's on a tile background so very hard to make it look good. I just want to redo the text because it was written by someone that does not speak English/American.

Basically, the Vanishing Point filter allows you to identify the perspective in part of an image, then clone from other parts that are at a different distance; it takes care of the scaling. It's pretty slick, though I've always thought it would be better integrated directly into Photoshop rather than being in a plug-in type format.
The other day I used it on a photo of a series of statues of archers. The one on the end was missing part of her bow...

Need help removing adware from Safari Version 7.0.5 (9537.77.4) Maverick System OS X 10.9.4 (13E28)

This adware renders system useless during while using web. Cannot perform even the simplest work that requires interaction on a website. (Except Apple). I have excellent Web Service. Other iMac and 4 IOS devices are not affected, and work well.

I'm having an horrible experience with my Safari 7.1.2 ( iMac OS X 10.9.5)
Bare with me, here are my symptoms, and what I did so far looking for solutions online. None of them helped
This all started SUDDENLY, today. Although i DOWNLOADED a couple of apps last week thinking i was upgrading my video app that wasn't working (I was prompted to do so but the video never ended up working!)
My symptoms:
- Ads are "glueing" themselves on my webpages... in different formats depending on the website i'm on (regular websites...)
- pages are opening ups by themselves (see picture) :
*directing to "d2bzz.resolve.sweepstakesghost.biz/?sov....." with a window saying "PC TECH SUPPORT Chat initiated. Specialist: Matt Folson Date: January 7, 2015";
To this i turned my Wifi off and then closed the page to avoid clicking on the OK button (yet now it's not asking anymore and just redirecting me without asking)
*directing to other supposedly technical support...
- SELECTED WORDS become all caps, underlined, and in light blue with a link to an ad? (see picture above)
- ALL of this are displaying a certain "Ad by PJS-4.2"
My Solutions:
1)
I searched online and DOWNLOADED
-Clamsav: found items to remove and removed them and emptied my trash ---> Dindt work (see picture)
- ADWARE Medic: found a couple of other items to delete and deleted them , emptied trash and restated computer ----> didn't work!
Still same Symptoms!

I checked my extensions for Safari and only found 3 that I do use (and been using for quite a while). Just uninstalled them

I also looked for your files “Linc Davis” is referring to here in the forum but can't find any of them in my COMPUTER.
Triple-click anywhere in the line below on this page to select it:

Need help removing PDF from "Places" in Finder window

I just noticed this PDF in my sidebar and I can't remove it, "Catalyst Itenerary 2012"
It's an old document I must have dropped it in here at some point but must no longer exist on my computer because Spotlight cannot find it.
I'm able to select everything in the sidebar except this PDF. I can't select it or highlight with my pointer, I can't right-click it to choose the "Remove from sidebar" option.
Please help, I'm stumped.

If you're on Snow Leopard, then hold the Command key down as you drag it off.
For Leopard like your profile shows, it should just drag off.

I need help removing bezel from my laptop screen

I have a HP Pavilion DV4-1125nr laptop and I cracked the screen and need to change it but I can't seem to figure out on how to remove the bezel out of my screen so I can remove screen and get the model number from the back. I removed screens before but they had screws on top of bezel covered by little rubber knobs and the dv4-1125nr doesn't have any of this and it looks like you have to remove the bezel using your hands but I can only pop out the top and the sides, the bottom doesn't pop out and I'm afraid to force it out in case I break it. What am I misssing here? Is there a trick to get it out?

5. It should bring up another window "HP Service Media Library" and then select Display Bezel ( Recessed ) to bring up the video and detailed procedure for you to open up the LCD Display Bezel.

Need to remove border from stock image...

I am very very new to using Illustrator10 and I have a stock image that I bought online and am trying to make some adjustments to it. I've been successful so far with my changes except for a thin black line border that was around the image when I opened it in Illustrator. I can't even seem to click on it or highlight it at all and therefore I have no idea how to delete it. Any help would be greatly appreciate! Thanks!

The artwork has no printable border.
What you are seeing is the artboard bounds. You can prove it to yourself by printing the document (print to PDF if you don't want to waste paper) or by changing the artboard size via File | Document Setup.
The artwork does happen to have a rectangle that exactly coincides with the artboard size. It provides the taupish background. If you select it and look at the appearance palette, you'll see it has a fill but no stroke.

Help! Trying to remove text from an already saved image

I accidently saved an image with my watermark & now the image is locked & also saved as a jpeg image. I can't remove the text without stamping it out or just starting over. Does anyone know how to remove text from an image that has already been saved?

You could have saved it before closing the image. As long as the image is open in Editor, we can always go back to the original position and get back the original file.
In case you have closed, check if you have saved it as a version set. If your file name contains "edited-1" something, you have the file preserved.
Otherwise, if you have replaced the file without having any copy of it anywhere else, you cannot revert the changes.

Hi Support, how can I install photoshop again after disk failure. Still says I have 2 copies installed, need to remove one from my old pc. Thanks for any help.

After drive failure, I decided to install photoshopcc on my home pc.
when I try to start it, I get the message "already installed on 2 devices"
I need to remove it from one of those devices.
It's not obvious how to do this.

On one of your older PCs, Start Photoshop, go to the Help menu > Deactivate...

Hi,
I'm pretty new to this, but I'm trying to figure out how to remove text from a background. My problem is that when I use tools to grab the text, it only selects part of it because the pixels of the text are actually different colors as it blends in with the backgorund. Does anyone have a quick idea how to do this?

Need Help Removing Background

I need help removing a background from a picture. My boss wants some t-shirts made but the only image I have is one with a tie-dye background and I need it to just be the black and white that is on the image. I have been trying for 2 weeks to do this and I can get real close but it leaves the colors around the edges and I need this gone. Any ideas? Anyone that can help me out? I have the original photo and the one with almost everything removed if someone can help me fine tune the rest that would be great.

You've done all the hard work and are almost there!
Starting with your b/w rendition, duplicate the background layer, and shut off the visibility of the background layer. Work on background copy layer
Go to Enhance menu>convert to black and white>vivid landscape style
Open a blank layer between the background and background copy layers and fill this layer with white
Make the background copy layer active and use the eraser tool to clean up a few smudges on the background copy layer
Open a blank layer at the top of the stack, and press CTRL+SHIFT+ALT+E to create a stamp visible layer
With the rectangular marquee tool, make a rectangular block selection of "DRIVE-IN THEATRE" and place this on its own layer (CTRL+J). Make the blending mode multiply, then duplicate this layer 3-4 times.
For the text on the bottom, suggest that you erase this and replace the information with the type tool.
