I have a presario RX896AA desktop and I would like to know how i can reset the computer as if i just bought it so it's like new.

Turn off the computer if it is not already off.
Disconnect all connected devices and cables such as the Personal Media Drive, USB drives, printer, and fax. Remove media from drives. Do not disconnect the monitor, keyboard, mouse, and power cord.
Turn on the computer and immediately press the F11 key repeatedly , about once every second, until Recovery Manager opens.
Click Next.
A Microsoft System Restore screen opens.
Select No, I would like to see other options , and then click Next.
A System recovery screen opens.
Click Yes , and Next to continue the recovery process.
The Recovery Manager gives you the option of backing up your data files.
To continue recovery, select No , and then click Next.
A recovery progress screen opens. Wait while files are restored.
When System Recovery is complete, click Finish.

I am trying to reset my iphone4 after the led light got stuck on. I have entered the wep key but the phone won't hook on to my internet service (it is the same service I have had all along..The phone is only 2 months old and this is the first problem I have had.

To temporarily fix the problem (sound crazy) but in this case violence is the only answer up until you take a trip to the good people at Apple. By that i mean give it a good tap on your knee or gently squeeze under the volume button, it's not the best way but hey it does get annoying and can fry the battery and overheat things, what is wrong is a common defect in many iPhone 4s which is the backplate inside the phone is not seated correctly which allows it to some how turn on the flashlight.
Best bet is to take it into Apple or take off the back and re-seat the plate.
Hope this works as it did for mine, if the problem persists then they will gladly help you out or even giove you a replacement since it is a hardware fault and nothing you did to make it happen.
The service is alway phenominal, even when you have the smallest or biggest of problems they will always fix it with a great attitude and are happy to help.

I used MPEG export with 1280 resolution,
what are the parameters that need to be adjusted to get the best out of the export?
I've tried the H.264 codec but it keeps messing around with the size of the video so it plays like a square 4:3 really messes up the original 16:9
though I was using 16:9 settings...

For the Export choices, one starts with what their delivery scheme is, say to BD disc, or perhaps streaming Video for the Web. That will dictate much of what one will choose next.
Within those two delivery schemes, there are choices also. For the BD, if one is working exclusively in PrE, then Export/Share is not necessary, as PrE has BD authoring capabilities. If one is using another program to author, then there are two allowed choices: BD-compliant H.264, or HD MPEG-2, which is BD-compliant. For streaming media, then there are many choices, from WMV, to Flash (FLV), to DivX, to H.264. Each has pluses and minuses, and much might depend on the Web page, on which one will display the AV file. If, for instance, the Web page has an embedded QT Player, then the H.264 in a MOV wrapper is probably the best bet, while if there is an embedded Flash player, the FLV would be the choice. If one wishes a self-contained Flash player, then a program, like Adobe Flash, can bundle the FLV into an SWF file.
Knowing exactly how you need to deliver the output file will get you (and us) started on picking the best format/CODEC and then the internal settings for Export/Share.

Prepare Your Mac for Sale
Boot from the OS X Installer Disc One that came with the computer. After the installer loads select your language and click on the Continue button. When the menu bar appears select Disk Utility from the Utilities menu. After DU loads select the startup volume from the left side list then click on the Erase tab. Set the format type to Mac OS Extended (Journaled) then click on the Options button. Select the one pass Zero Data option and click on the OK button. Then click on the Erase button.
Note: You can skip the Zero Data option if you are not concerned about removing sensitive personal data from the hard drive. If you choose to skip this part of the process then it is possible for others to recover data from the hard drive. The Zero Data procedure will prevent others from getting access to your personal information.
This process will take 30 minutes to several hours depending upon the size of the hard drive. After formatting has completed quit DU and return to the installer. Now complete the OS X installation. At the completion of the installation do not restart the computer. Instead just shut it off. The next user will be presented with the Setup Assistant when they turn on the computer just as it would if new out of the box.

Installed CS6 Design Std (which included Acro X Pro) from DVD. All the apps work except for Acrobat, which gives the above error. The s/n in the error is different from the s/n used for installing Design Std. Per support, fully uninstalled Design Std and any other Acrobat related s/w, then ran a "cleaner" that they provided. Reinstalled CS6 Design Std from DVD ... same problem. Already wasted over 4 hours on Adobe support chat.

I understand that you are unable to activate Acrobat X Pro.
From the error message it seems like Acrobat is taking the standalone serial number and not from the suite.
Have you tried uninstalling only Acrobat and reinstall it from the CS6 suite? If not, then please perform uninstall Acrobat and reinstall it as trial.
Once the reinstallation is completed, first launch a product from CS6 like Photoshop and then launch Acrobat X and check if it works.
