Need help rush for a spa3102 special setup welcom gurru

I have to transport phone line on my network . I just bought two spa3102 that is supposed to do the job. I know how to setup the adresses but don't know anything on how to setup both to communicate together . I just need to take an analog line in spa3102 number one and over the local lan , let the other spa3102 answer like a standard phone . And make call from the second one to the fist one using it's analog line . Could someone help me i'm really in a pain with this ...

Need help setting up a virtual switch setup for my lab.

I used to be able to get this to work. But, I'm not able to anymore.
I have two network cards in my PC.
#1 Is what I use for everyday use and it's configured to use :
IP: 192.168.0.2
GW: 192.168.0.1
DNS : 192.168.0.1 (Router address)
#2 Is setup to use
IP: 192.168.0.3
GW: 192.168.0.1
DNS : 192.168.0.1 (Router address)
Then I create a Virtual Switch in Hyper V Virtual Switch Manager and bind it to Network Card #2.
This creates the Hyper V Virtual Ethernet Adapter that I bind my VM's to.
But for some reason none of my VM's can get a connection to the internet. There is an exclamation mark over the network icon.
When I go back and look at the TCP/IP V4 properties of the Virtual Ethernet Adapter, I release that it has no DNS settings.
But when I put any settings in there it gives me a warning about setting multiple default gateways, and do I want to continue, yes or no?
What could I be doing wrong?

I think you checked the "Allow management operating system ..." , the new Vethernet adapter is a virtual adapter for HOST ( the name same with the Vswitch) .
So , the "multiple default gateway" will arise when you configure GW for it .

Noob needs help with Logic and Motu live setup.

Hello everyone,
I'm a noob / semi noob who could use some help with a live setup using 2 MOTU 896HD's and Logic on a Mac.
Here's the scenario:
I teach an outdoor marching percussion section (a drumline and a front ensemble of marimbas and vibes). We have an amazing setup of live sound to amplify and enhance the mallet percussion. There is a yamaha PA system with 2 subs and 2 mains which are routed through a rack unit that processes the overall PA balance. I'm pretty sure that the unit is supposed to avoid feedback and do an overall cross-over EQ of the sound. Other then that unit, we have 2 motu896hd units which are routed via fire-wire. I also have a coax cable routing the output of the secondary box to the input of the primary box (digital i/o which converts to ADAT in (i think?)..?
Here's the confusion:
There are more then 8 inputs being used from the ensemble itself, so I need the 16 available inputs to be available in Logic. I was lead to believe that the 2nd motu unit would have to be sent digitally to the 1st motu unit via coax digital i/o. Once in Logic, however, I cannot find the signal or any input at all past the 8th input (of the 1st unit).
Here's the goal:
All of my performers and inputs routed via firewire into a Mac Mini running OSX and Logic pro.
I want to be able to use MainStage and run different patches of effects / virt. instruments for a midi controller keyboard / etc.
I want to be able to EQ and balance the ensemble via Logic.
Here's another question:
How much latency will I be dealing with? Would a mac mini with 4gb of ram be able to handle this load? With percussion, I obviously want the sound as latency free as possible. I also, however, want the flexibility of sound enhancement / modification that comes with Logic and the motu896hd units.
Any help would be REALLY appreciated. I need the routing assistance along with some direction as to whether or not this will work for this type of application. I'm pretty certain it does, as I have spoken with some other teachers in similar venues and they have been doing similar things using mac mini's / logic / mainstage / etc.

You'll definitely want to read the manual to make sure the 896HDs are connected together properly. ADAT is a little tricky, it's not just a matter of cabling them together. Go to motunation.com if you need more guidance on connecting multiple devices. Beyond that initial hookup, here are a couple of quick suggestions:
1. Open CueMix and see if both devices are reported there. If not, your connections aren't correct. Be sure to select 44.1kHz as your sample rate, otherwise you are reducing the number of additional channels. For instance at 88.2kHz you would get half the additional channels via ADAT.
2. You may need to create an aggregate device for the MacBook to recognize more than the first 896HD. Lots of help on this forum for how to do that. Again, first make sure you have the 896HDs connected together properly.
3. As for latency with Mainstage on the Mini, no way to know until you try it. Generally MOTU is fantastic for low latency work but Mainstage is a question mark for a lot of users right now. If the Mini can't cut the mustard, you have a great excuse to upgrade to a MacBook Pro.

Need help about Financials Operating Unit Level Setup data object transforming

We met some issues while using iSetup to create new OU from existing one via 'Financials Operating Unit Level Setup’ template and need your help.
We can perform Extracting successfully, but when we’re tring to proceed Transform, it seems iSetup can’t meet our expectation.
Firstly, after succesful creation of the Transform for 'Financials Operating Unit Level Setup’.
We clicked the transform icon and it led us to the Details page.
However, we can’t search out any result on that page, is it a bug?
If we didn’t performed ‘Transform All’, then there’s no row shows on Transform Details page so we can't make any transform, as below:
But after performing a ‘Transform All’ task, revisite the Details page and unfreeze, Operating Units and Inventory Organizations became transformable, as shown in below screenshots.
Secondly, we found the transformable data objects are so limited, even the whole Payable Options and Finacial Options doesn’t support, as well as the Operating Unit short code.
Is there any documents indicating which data objects are transform supported? Or if there’s any sql query for it?
Will be very appreciated if anyone can help.

According to your description, my understanding is that machines failed to ping the server name, and successfully to ping its IP address.
First check to see if DNS related port 53 is opened on the DC, or disable any anti-various software temporally, then ping the DC’s
FQDN and confirm that if the name would be resolved.

It seems that invalid IP address of DNS server on the TCP/IP properties of DC.
I want to confirm with you that if you have installed the DNS with installing AD DS. Just the DC’s name can’t be resolved? Or any other device also has the same question?

Need help with Apple TV + Airport Express setup

I am newbie to this whole Apple thing. Just switched from Windows world (20+ years of torture) to MacBook Pro about 6 months ago. Loving every minute of it.
Here's what I currently have...
I have a 4000+ sq.ft. home with 3 levels on a 1-acre lot. I have 5 zones for music/movies - 7.1 dedicated Home Theater (lower level), 5.1 HT system for casual TV watching in Family Room, 2.1 system (music only) in my Home Office, 2.1 system (music only) in my Master Bedroom, 5.1 HTiB in Kids Bedroom. All systems have dedicated AVRs/Speakers/Subs (Denon, Harmon Kardon, Yamaha, Polk, Energy, Klipsch etc.).
I have 2 MacBook Pros and 2 Windows Laptops. I have AirportExtreme running a wireless network throughout the house. I have NAS attached to AE. I use iTunes to manage all my media content. I also have a iPhone 3G.
I have ripped all my CDs in Apple Lossless format into iTunes. I listen to free internet radio stations (NO Napster, Raphsody or other subscription-based services). Sometimes watch/listen free video/audio podcasts. I do NOT rent or buy movies/music via iTunes or any other source (just buy old-fashioned CDs/DVDs when neeeded).
Here's what I want to accomplish...
1. Ability to "wirelessly" stream media to any or all zones.
2. Central, easy to use controller for all systems.
3. Should be able to accomplish this functionality without having to keep PC/Mac running.
Ques 1: I have considered Sonos option, but it can't do video content. So, I guess my options are Apple TV + 5 Airport Expresses. Is that correct? Will I be able to accomplish my goal with this setup? Anything I need to be aware of, e.g, network connectivity/slowdown issues, system reliability issues, ease-of-use etc.?
Ques 2: One of the major benefits of Sonos system is the ability to play different music in different zones. From what I understand, this is NOT possible with AppleTV + AirportExpress + iTunes setup. Is that correct?
What if I have iTunes running on 2 separate laptops. Can one laptop play it's own playlist via AirExp-1 and the other laptop play a different playlist via AirExp-2 & AirExp-3? Is this possible? If yes, then I guess this may "simulate" the zoning effect of Sonos (albeit thru 2 separate controllers; but it works for my needs).
Ques 3: I have a MobileMe account to keep my MBP and iPhone in sync. I have lot of Photo Albums in MobileMe Gallery and also in iPhoto on my MBP. How can this me viewed via AppleTV? Would I have to move my iPhoto from MBP to AppleTV HDD?
Ques 4: Currently my iTunes library resides on my MBP. Is there any benefit of putting it on AppleTV HDD?
Ques 5: Can AppleTV HDD be used as backup drive for Time Machine. Currently, I have no choice but to buy Apple Time Capsule to use as wireless backup drive for my MBP; I can't use my NAS for this purpose (From what I've read on forums, I think Apple removed this functionality).

So put then do that. You said you have two external drives. (As long as they both have network support) Put the content on one of them and make the other one the back up.

While technically possible not a great idea. Streaming video over WiFi is usally problemattic and so are large scale data set backups.

Only going to work when your Mac is on with iTunes running, but can be done.

Need help with after effects render engine setup

I use AE CS6 on a mac computer running Mountain Lion. I also own a PC running Windows 7, and I am wanting to use it to assist with network rendering. How do I install the after effects render engine on a PC, when all that I own is the Mac version of the software?

Did you purchase a perpetual license for the software, or do you have a Creative Cloud Membership subscription?
If the former, you need to purchase an additional license to get the Windows version. If the latter, you can just download the Windows version as part of your subscription.

Need help/suggestions for an older Macbook a1342 display

I dropped my A1342 and the display went dead... I could still get video to an external monitor from the side port but the lcd was completely out. It also had a small crack on the top corner so I just assumed that the LCD was shot, but I just replaced it with a new one and the display is still dead. What else could I be missing or should I try?

These are the directions of OS 10.7. Some of the details are different on other OS.
1. On your husband's computer, go to System Preferences / Users & Groups and click the padlock to unlock.
(U & G was called Accounts in older OS - not sure what you have on that older Macbook.)
2. Click the + sign. That will give you a new pane.
3. In New Account, select Administrator ( the default is "Standard").
4. Complete all the other fields.
After this is done, close that pane. Now back in U & G, select Login Options.
Set Automatic login to your husband's name.
Restart the computer, and select your husband's name. Check that all is well.
You can now, if you wish, go back to U & G, unlock and select your own name and click the - sign. That will remove your name from the computer.
You will also need to configure Mail for your husband's email with his password. When he first clicks on Mail he will be guided through the setup steps.

NEED HELP ASAP for editing voiceover!

I'm working on an anniversary dvd and have recorded several voiceovers to be combined with photos. However, there are parts of the voiceovers that I need taken out. Is there a way to copy and paste a voice over so I can trim it and use certain parts from it? Aaaccckk! Help would be appreciated as time is of the essence with this project. I have a ton of experience with iMovie, but since the recent upgrade this voiceover feature is new to me. Thank you!

Bear with me. I'm making some assumptions here:
Apparently your MacBook 3,1 was still running OS X 10.5 "Leopard", so FIRST, you needed to purchase and install OS X "Snow Leopard" from disc.
The Snow Leopard retail disc contains and installs version OS X 10.6.3.
Next (?), you ran , Software Update, or downloaded an OS X 10.6 Combo Update in order to get to at least version 10.6.6, the first version that supports the Mac App store.
Once you have OS X 10.6.6 or higher installed, you have the Mac App Store installed,and IT is required to purchase, download, and install OS X 10.7 "Lion", NOT OS X 10.8 "Mountain Lion". Your system is NOT and cannot be made capable of running OS X 10.8.
The minimum requirements to purchase, download and install OS X 10.7 "Lion" are:

1) OS X 10.6.6 or higher,"Snow Leopard" installed
2) At least 2GB RAM installed
3) At least 7GB hard disk space available (though in my opinion, you still need at least 10GB more free hard disk space for adequate system performance, so figure on needing at least 17GB free just for OS X Lion)
Once that is done, you still need additional sufficient additional hard disk space to purchase, download and install Adobe Photoshop Lightroom5.

3/ then delivery the final output through vga port to dispaly in the screen

You can always render video in fullscreen mode. See this:

Need help w/ for loop, a do loop, and a do-while loop.

Hello I have been trying to write a program that uses a for, do, and a do-while loop, but I am having trouble. I need the program that will prompt the user to enter two numbers. The first number must be less than the second number. I need to use a "for loop", a "do loop", and a "do-while loop" to display the odd numbers between the first number and the second number. For example, if the user entered 1 and 8, the program would display 3,5,7 three different times (one for each of the loops). Please help if you can. Thanks.

What you need to do is attempt the code and when you get stuck, post your code using the code button, include error messages, indicate which lines in your code genereate those error messages and ask specific questions.

Need Help waiting for user input.

I've got a simple card game, which I've pretty much made all with swing. I have a JTextField and a JButton. I want the user to input a number into the textfield and the click the button which fires the action listener. This then takes the text and reads it and set a boolean hasBid to true. I don't want to program to continue until this has happened so I made an empty while(!hasBid) loop. The first time through, the program starts and stop until the user inputs something and click the button. The second time through, however, the whole window freezes. For somereason object aren't even being displayed which are displayed before this while loop. Without the while loop, everything runs fine, but the program won't stop to wait for input.
So, my question pretty much is how can I get the program to stop for user input in a function which will be called multiple times. I don't want to use a JOptionPane or anyother pop-up box. If my way won't work, I'd really like to know of another way. Thanks for any help!

you simply need to separate the functionality of your input object and the card game into two threads. as sanbingo said, running in a while loop prevents your GUI from even drawing its components.
Remember: AWT/Swing is an event driven interface! so only events can/should cause some action to happen.
i'd properly implement an event listener which is fired when the input is received. the listener is your game class which upon receipt of the event starts playing. when its done, its done, ie doesn't do anything until it receives an new event from your input object.

Need Help Urgently For Displaying RESULTS PER PAGE

i am comiling a serch engine throgh JSDK servlets and using a personal Oracle database. i currently have over 2000 records and when they are returned they are all being returned in one big table. i am trying to get the servlet to display so many results per page, for example 30 per page. I am at a loss on how to do this and have tried a number of methods, i urgently need to find a way of doing this as it is for a Major school project. I hope someone can help me i would be extremly greatful if someone could. Please

One way to do this would be something like this:
1. Start out with a page where filtering parameters could be entered, submit to the servlet with a starting position of 0.
2. Grab all the rows from the oracle database, toss them in an array.
3. Draw items in a table from the starting position to the number of entries per page from the array.
4. Put a Previous and Next button on the results page to submit back to the servlet in step 2 where the starting position is the current position - number of results per page for previous, next is the has a starting position of current position + number of results per page. You'll want to do range checking, etc on this.
The key trick is to ask one servlet to do steps 2-4. I've used hidden variables on the form with some javascript to set the new starting parameter for previous and next. You could assemble a URL in javascript also.
There are probably slicker ways to do this, but for 2000 rows, it should probably work well enough.

Musician needs help, downloading for transcribing.

Okay, so here is my problem. I am constantly transcribing work from other guitar players so as to continue learning. You tube is a wealth of knowledge. I have been previously using the optioncommandA to download videos from you tube. I apologize if I am breaking rules and laws but I can really learn this way and I don't always have access to internet, so downloading is essential.
Option, command, A works great. But now I have come up against this new type of video I guess, that when I hit opcomA I get a black screen and then I get in the middle of the screen the little player that says loading. It loads then immediately plays the desired video. But it is not stored anywhere on my computer. Nothing is being download into the downloads folder.
I need this and why are there some you tube videos that won't allow my computer to download into the downloads folder. I have tried everything I can think of to save this type of file or video but nothing will keep in the computer. I try save as but this is not illuminated so I cannot do so.
I hope this makes sense as I am kind of frantic. I'm leaving in 4 days for a cruise ship gig which will take me away from free internet for six months and I would so like to have some downloads to keep learning.
Can anyone help? If you have any questions please ask and I can maybe try and describe what it is that I am seeing better.

Need help with netpoint / citiXsys credit card setup

We have netpoint setup to authorize credit cards using pay flow pro. We are now setting up the CitiXsys credit card app so that we can settle the charges from within business one.
It appears that none of the credit card information is syncing over to business one. is there a document that covers this setup?
I need to know how to make the netpoint sync get the needed information to the credit card app.

If you choose the Citixsys option in the synchmanager server config it will populate the credit card info into the appropriate tables.
Citixsys should provide support if the data is not synching to B1 and you have selected this in the synchmanager.
