Need Help Scanning & Elements 10

I am scanning family photos on Epson 750 Pro Scanner, bring the images into PhotoShop Elements 10. I usually scan two 4'x6" photos, ask Elenets to divide the scanned images, and then edit and renmae each of the images. Sometimes, this works, and other times, I get no image saved, except for the scanned image containing two images. Can someone tell me why the difference?

Need help installing Elements 12 on new computer!

I have used the correct serial number, I called the help support desk and the technician told me that she didn't know what to do to fix the issue. Any suggestions?
The editing portion of the software downloaded to the new computer works just fine. However the organizer doesn't load at all. I tried re-loading it but the system tells me I have two many computers.
I can't deactivate the old one as the all-in-one monitor does not work.
Any suggestions? Please don't tell me to just buy Elements 13...I can't yet.

Contact Adobe support using chat and ask them to reset your activation count - ask for nothing more than that or they might tell you they do not support your older software and not help at all. After that you should not be getting a "two many computers" message when you try to install and activate.

I need help re installing adobe elements on my new laptop. I do not want to purchase a new version I have elements 12.
But I do not know how to install it on my computer

Just install it. If you mean you have a disc version and your new computer has no disk drive, download the trial and enter your serial number into that.

Need help finding Elements 8 Download (disc isn't working)

I have my disc and box with serial number on it. I called adobe and they told me to get a replacement disc from best buy since the disc isn't being read by my computer. There's no scratches on it at all. I literally downloaded it once, just a few months over a year ago and got a virus, where a friend wiped the hard drive. Now I'm trying to reinstall and it doesn't seem to want to read the disc. I don't know what to do. Best Buy says they can't because elements 9 is out now..so i'm supposed to just go buy that now? Please help!!
I do have my serial number so i don't need that. i just need the program! Thanks

Let's try this again going a slightly different route and with images. It sounds like you go lost along the way.
Judging from your last post your computer is Windows. I wasn't sure whether you were on Windows or a Mac.
1. First insert your disc into the DVD drive of your computer. Don't worry about the installation dialog coming up at this point.
2. Look on your desktop for the icon that is a computer and says "Computer" if on Vista or Windows7. If on XP, the icon will say "My Computer".
3. Click the "Computer" icon by pressing the button on the right hand side of your mouse. This will bring up the following menu:
4. You can either click open or explore from the context menu.
After you click either open or explore, you should see your drives including any media discs loaded in the drives.
5. Right click the drive showing PSE 8 loaded. After you right click (click drive with your mouse's right hand side button) you will get a context menu like I have in my screen capture below. Select either Open or Explore from the menu.
Above I have PSE 2 loaded in my DVD/CD-RW Drive (E). It also shows the context menu that comes up when the drive loaded with PSE is clicked with my right hand mouse button.
Above shows the folder view of the contents that reside on my PSE 2 Disc. You should see something similar when you view your PSE 8 disc in folder view.
Having went through the above steps, is the folder view of your DVD blank or do you have files and folders?

Need help Adding Elements By Expressions for AS/400

I just got BI Publisher installed and am having trouble finding the correct manuals to use for creating SQL's and Expressions. I am using an AS/400 and JD Edwards. I can create a Data Set and formula fields and can show all of it in a report. What I can not figure out is how to do an If Then Else statement for a coulmn. I have gone into Add Element by Expression and can not get it to accept anything. I need an expression that says 'IF ZPTAX = 'A' then Gross01 else 0.
ZPTAX is Tax Type and I only want to show the Gross if it is Tax Type A.
The file is F06136.
What would be the correct formula here and what manuals are available to help figure these out.

I am using Data model editor. I am trying to build a report. I can bring fields into the report and put them in columns with no problems. Where I am having difficulties is I need to be able to put conditions on each column. I have 5 different Pay Codes with gross amounts. The way the report works now is to put the gross for all pay codes in one column. I need to have 5 columns. One for each pay code.
I am trying to reproduce reports from Crystal. In Crystal I can create a formula field that says: If Pay Code = '40' then Gross Pay Else 0. Then another formula field: If PayCode = '100' Then Gross Pay Else 0. I can do this for each Pay Code and then use these for my columns.

I PURCHASED ELEMENTS 13 AND PAID FOR IT. i NOW FIND THAT i CANNOT INSTAll this program to my XP 3 system. I hav e tried the Chat system and have progeam descriptions twice and they say they have not received communication form me. I want my purchase negated and the money returned to my account.@

I have a mac osx 10.5.8 I had elements 10 on it never used it. going to class for it, now trying to use it and it is frozen and says there is an error in program. I uninstalled it and tried to reinstall it and it is unrecognizable. help. ??????

Need help scanning in Pictures:hp 4500-pics not found/trying to open scanning session

I have successfully scanned once with my hp 4500 printer, but once images are scanned nothing happens. They are not in iphoto even though I scanned them to pictures folder. When I open the printer scanner icon it says "trying to open scanning session" and remails here indefinitely. HELP!

Regardless of selecting pictures, or iphoto, once that first scan is done, the pics are not there and no other scans can be done afterwards without the printer/scanner locking up and saying trying to open scanning session. In image capture my printer scanner is not visible, the printer is visible however as a desktop icon.

Need help, Photoshop Elements 11 will not open anymore.

I have Photoshop Elements 11 and will not open anymore, it hangs up on initial window with credits & version info. I tried everything I can think of, shutting down all the background programs, windows update, uninstalling & reinstalling the Photosphop. I am able to open the Adobe Photoshop Editor and I even updated the Adobe from Editor to see if that would help but no luck. Anyone have any ideas?

Does this mean the problem is with the organizer? If so, hold down the shift key when starting it and try creating a new catalog in the catalog manager that should open. If that works, go back to file>manage catalogs and try repairing and optimizing your real catalog.

I just got the full vers of elements 8 and it wants me to use the trial vers..WHY? and how can I fix that?

Did you enter your 24-digit serial number during installation? If so, did it validate?

Need help scanning with OS X 10.7.4 and HP 4780 printer/scanner

I am printing wirelessly to my HP, but I cannot scan. Any suggestions? (I was able to scan before getting new software.)

Apple distributes all driver updates through the App Store. The latest one includes an update for the HP Photosmart C4700 series:
Go to the App Store for updates, not the HP site.
WIth Lion, scanning in Preview is a bit odd. The first time you select Preview > Import from scanner, you must select "Include networked devicers". Then, you need to select Preview > Import from Scanner again, and your HP should appear in a submenu. What happens when you try that?

Need help with Elements loading RAW images since I switched cameras.

I recently switched from a Canon Rebel XT to a Canon Rebel T1i. I have Elements 6.0 and was able to see RAW images with my old camera. For some reason the RAW images aren't loading in Elements now. I get a message saying the files are corrupt. I've tried different cards but still no difference. Any suggestions?

you need at least ACR 5.4 for your T1i/500D
ACR 5.6 and therefore earlier versions work on PSE 6.
You should upgrade your PSE 6 to ACR 5.6; it does work on PSE 6 at least in WIndows. I know because ACR 5.6 works on my PSE 6 under Windows Vista.

I need help getting elements 11 to recognize my internal microphone

I have premiere elements 11 and am trying to add narration to a clip and elements doesn't recognize my internal laptop microphone. When I go to preferences and click on default device all that is there is premiere elements WDM sound. The mic works in windows and is set as the default device. Any help would really be appreciated.

Your thread had a beneficial effect for me. I did some checking with my laptop which has an internal microphone. I do not use it and found it
in bad shape. I am in the process of configuring it to a usable state.

I need help scanning

Can anybody help me please.
I have been useing an Epson SX215 printer Scanner for just 4 years now but today after scanning in 3 pictures the program appears to have changed of its own accord.
I normally just go into view my pictures with Adobe and the procedure I usually follow is as I now explain, I click on File Then move the arrow to get pictures then move to scanner, then my screen usually shows a box displaying Adobe 4-0 but this never done anthing clicking here so I click on the arrow head next to the words Adobe 4-00 and Epson SX 215 appears which I click on.
The page now just usually changes to a preview screen or a scan option, I click on Preview and then it goes to scan on its own usually and the vfinished picture appears on a blank shhet and I click return to all photo's and the latest scan is their as the first item on the page.
That has always been my procedure but to day after clicking on the Epson SX215 a new box appears on the left hand side of the page taking up half of te page.
I have never seen this page before but it has places where the photo size and various other things can be changed so I changed the sizes to 4" X 6" which was what I usually get but the results are such that when I go to view the photo it appears to be on an A4 sheet in the top left corner.
I have spoken with Epson's technical while going through the motions on screen but I cannot get him to understand that I have always used the Epson box for scanning as far as I understand but he says if that is the case then Adobe must have just changed something.
In desparation please help.

Some screen shots would be helpful (use the camera icon to add them). Also have you just updated PSE from an earlier version and the problem is only arising in the new version?

Did you run the installer? By default it should be downloaded to your User folder.
