Need help searching in sub-folders?

Bridge CC (Win7) .
I often need to find a file say "Carmel" and don't know which folder it is on. I know in the top right corner I can do a search. But sometimes it will look in all sub folders, and sometimes clearly not since it gives me zero results. I'm not sure with those tiny icons by the find field how to tell it to search all sub-folders?
What am I doing wrong.

This search field only uses the files you have selected or pointed to in the content panel. For proper searching with lot's of options and ability to chose the source, including subfolders and non indexed files you need to use the dedicated Find command Edit / Find or cmd +F on a Mac

NEED HELP Search with SAF/TREX

I have to work on standard screen in that they are fetching database and extracting the data by using CL_CRM_EI_IIA_QUERY_UI class. In this calss they are using SET_QUERY, GET_QUERY, GET_TEXT_QUERY, SET_TEXT_QUERY,CREATE_TEXT_EDITOR methods.
I have to add three more fields to this existing screen and ned to add these field values in the search process. I am trying to understand the code and they have not used any select statement. can you pelase help me how to use the above class and for my requirement..
the screen which i am trying to change is CIC0 transaction in CRM win client in FAQ tab knowledge search screen.
what is the SAF/TREX

i purchased from a lady off Etsy..she sent it to me in PDF. EPS.
and Adobe format.
i was on my mobile device earlier when i wrote the first post.
I can open the file up in adobe. BUT it has a grey and white checkered background and is very large text.
I somehow got it to actually open like a watermark on a photo last nite but the tex was so big it only came across as 2 letters..
I can post the files anywhere just let me kno ..im not sure if they was done wrong or I just am that computer illiterate..which I can believe..i have been robbed quite a bit on logos and blah blah..
I mean no aggravation to anyone, i just dont have a clue where to turn to and get "LEGIT" answers and thats what I need so thats why Im here ..

Need Help Creating A Sub-Total Box On 3 Page Invoice

I have a 3 page Invoice with Grand Total on the last page that already totals all three pages together. No Problem here.
I copied & pasted a Sub-Total box from the Template Manager and attached it to the bottom of the first two invoice pages.
The problem is, the Sub-Total amounts continue to add the other page amounts. It's like I have three Grand Total boxes instead of two individual Sub-Total boxes.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you ..... I was looking for a sample that I could provide.
The technique to use would be to get a list of all objects that are on the page that you want to create the subtotal on. Then with this reduced set of objects, search out the individual fields and add then together to make your total. In the example I have we created a function to do this and passed the object subtotal object itself to the function. The function then determines which page the object is on, gets all field objects from that page (in our case we are asking to add all fields called fldSavings), then cycles through each field and totals them and finally returns the sum back to the calling program. Hope this helps .... see the code below we call it in this way:

Need help with missing hotmail folders?

I'm missing folders from Hotmail when moving into Mail on my iMac using 10.8. The Hotmail inbox comes up, but not other folders that I've created. I also have an iPad; all the foldes came up in it. Does anyone have a clue?

I think I must have done something wrong. I printed out your instructions, then quit Safari and did as directed, after which both the "Old Safari" and the new Safari folder (with the old files dragged to it) appeared in ~Library/. Since the Old Safari folder was now empty, I put it in Trash, then opened Safari again--and discovered that all my bookmarks were gone (Preferences were exactly as before).
Thinking I could just put things back the way they were, I quit Safari and copied the files in the new "Safari" folder, then pulled "Old Safari" out of Trash, placed the originals back in "Old Safari," and renamed it "Safari," as before. (I renamed the new Safari file, which now contains the copies, "Safari-Copy.") However, the bookmarks didn't reappear in the application.
Hoping I could restore them from the Library folder, I looked for "Import" in the File menu because I had just imported my bookmarks to a new MacBook with OS 10.4, but I guess OS 10.3.9 doesn't have that feature. I can restore the bookmarks manually from the other computer, but it will take a long time. Do you know if there's a way to undo whatever I did wrong and get my bookmarks back?

Need help searching for dates

I have to search the database for a month and year. When using the following sql statement i get error message ORA-01843 not a valid month. What am i doing wrong.

I have applied but I am not getting the column in the output columns from the custom sql function.
As per the procedure we are using the all conditions like between and month or date conditions to find the count of distinct months.
If we use partial conditional in the custom SQL and partial conditionals in the lookup condition clause is it give the same result?
How can we get the field of custom sql in the output field.

Need Help Searching Abbreviation in Verity

I want to search for a three letter abbreviation "TED", but I do not want to return words which have these letters in the middle or at the end of them.
Searched the forums here for an answer, but did not find it based on how I was searching.
Here is how the search presently looks:

Need help searching for a good IDE...

I've been looking for a good Java IDE that is somewhat comparable to Visual Studio 2003 regarding parameter info helpers and syntax highlighting, with an thought of visual design too. Does Sun have an IDE similar to VS? Seems like I came across one of their products a few weeks ago. If not, do you know any free IDEs that have these features?

Need help with opening groups folders in contacts after installing iOS 6

when i go to my group list in contacts I can not open any of them after updating iPhone 4 to iOS 6
only thing that happens when i click on a gruop name is to add or delete check mark

The checks are meant to indicate which group of Contacts you want to see when you tap "Done." If you have one group checked and you press "Done" you should see the Contacts for that group. If you check more than one group, when you press "Done" you should see all Contacts for all the checked groups combined into a single list.
I'm afraid I still don't understand what is happening when you tap "Done" - provided you have at least one group checked, that should bring you back to the listing of Contacts.

Use the Organizer backup & restore method, starting the restore from the TLY file. Probably best to use a custom location as the XP file structure will be different. See this link for further help:

i need to create an automator work flow as once launch, it will show a dialog asking user for the new folder name to be created, and asking user how many sub folders to be created.

I have a bunch of VBScripts that I created using help from this forum and other forums. These scripts are for fixing Windows problems, installing software and setting configuration settings. Each script is in a separate folder. Some of the script folders
contain a file called ReadMe.txt that contains info about the script and what it does. I am trying to document all my fixes so I can share them with coworkers, friends and anyone who needs help. I struggle with the "recursive" feature in VBScript.
I found the Scripting Guy's article on recursive searching and found another article from another website that works really well for listing all folders and subfolders to a CSV file. I'm having trouble adapting the script. After it exports the
folder list to the CSV, I need it to go back through the list and for every folder that contains the ReadMe.txt, export it's contents to the row for the specific folder that contains the file.
I've tried several modifications of this script but all my attempts cause the script to Not export the file list. I cannot get past this problem. Until I do that I cannot even focus on the exporting the contents of the ReadMe.txt file to the CSV file.

i need help with adobe muse sub-menu styling~! i can adjust them to exactly how i like them, but then when i go to the next set of sub-menus, the other ones revert back to the starting white/black boxes. i am frustrated as i have redone this so many times! Please help me!

To achieve this, you can use an accordion widget with custum styling.
