NEED HELP SETING UP SECOND PC

Hy I have a WRT54G version 1.01. My main PC is conected by cable to router and second PC is also conected by cable to router. I have not been able to have the browser open because the page doesn´t load. At the bottom of the task bar I can see the internet icon that shows me the signal speed. I did ping the router and in dos it shows all the data for the router. I changed the passwords for the router at the sign on and at the administration setup window of the wrt54g. Any advise will be helpfull

1)  Is this a new setup, or one that was working properly and now stopped?
2)  Is your Internet connection through the router working properly?
To view the router's web pages:
Use Internet Explorer, it usually works.
JavaScript must be enabled.
Use a computer that is wired to the router.
In the non-working computer, temporarily turn off your software firewall.
If you are using Zone Alarm, right click on the ZA icon in the system tray (lower right corner of screen) and then click "Shutdown ZoneAlarm", and see if this fixes your problem. If this does not work, try the following with Zone Alarm: Open the ZAISS control center, go to Privacy, then temporarily turn off Ad Blocking and Cookie Control, and see if that fixes your problem.
If you are using Noton Internet Security with the Add-on Pack, be sure to turn off the Pop-up Blocker. Some users have reported that they needed to uninstall the entire Norton Add-on Pack.
If you cannot get anything at 192.168.1.1 then perhaps this is not your router's address. Go to "Start" > All Programs > Accessories > Command Prompt.
A black DOS box will appear. Type in "ipconfig" (with no quotes), then hit the Enter key. Look at the "Default Gateway". Is it 192.168.1.1 ? Point your browser to the "Default Gateway", then login to your router.
If the above fails, disconnect your modem from the router, and try again. If this corrects your problem, then most likely you have a "modem-router" rather than an ordinary modem. Check to see if your "modem-router" is using the same 192.168.1.x address space as your Linksys router. If it is, then report back with this problem, and also state the make and model of your modem-router.
If all of the above fails, power down your entire system, unplug it from the wall, wait one minute, then power up and try again.
If all of the above tips fail, then reset the router to factory defaults: Power down the router and disconnect all wires from it. Wait one minute. Power up the router, allow it to fully boot (1-2 minutes), then press and hold the reset button for 30 seconds, then release the button and allow the router to reset and reboot ( 2-3 minutes). Power down router. Wait one minute. Connect one computer, by wire, to a LAN port on the router. Boot up system. It should work.
If the reset does not fix your system, then you need to download and install (or re-install) the latest firmware for your router. After the firmware upgrade, you must reset the router to factory defaults, then setup the router again from scratch. If you saved a router configuration file, DO NOT use it.

    The iPhone is of no use until/unless the previous owner removes it from their account.
    You will need to find the prior owner or return the iPhone.

    Unfortunately, there is pretty much nothing you can do. Only the owner of the account used to lock it can remove the lock. If you can't contact whoever you purchased it from, or if they can't or won't remove the lock, then it's a brick. There is a very real chance that it's stolen.

    Need step by step instructions to add a second actiontec router over coax to increase by wifi range to a different part of the house. I have verizon fios 73/35. I recently upgraded by router to the Actiontec rev I and I would like to use the left over router (also an Actiontech router) in a area with poor wifi coverage. My main router is an Actiontect rev I that I have my computer hooked up to. What is the procedure to make this work. I hear I have to make it a MoCa connection and use it as an access point.     I just added drive(s) to my G4 450 (Sawtooth) and had boot problems and knew it had to do with jumper settings. I solved it however by putting my original boot drive in the upper portion of the carrier and a new drive in the lower portion. That way the data cables were syncing correctly.
    Already had a SATA controller (2 connectors) with one drive on it and filled the second so now the ol Sawtooth is sporting 4 drives.

  • Need help recognizing a second Ze

    my mother bought 2 Zen vision V mp3 players (the 2GB, black), and of course she wanted me to install them on the computer. she has vista for an OS. I installed the creative media explorer, and then tried to connect the second--and nothing.
    I have tried to use them on different user accounts on vista, one with administrator privileges, and the other without. NOthing. The first player continues to be recognized, no problem, and the second, though it says it was docked, is not recognized. Whereas the first player, when connected, brings up the options menu, where it asks what you want to do, open the files, whatever, and the second does not.
    Is it that they're the same model and everything, and that the software is designed to only recognize one of the same model? I've seen on the forums of people having 2 players, but of different models, having no problems. i have looked for someone addressing the same problem on the main creative website and on the forums and have found nothing,
    Can someone help?

    my husband and I each have a zen v plus and our computers saw them as the same UNTIL...we went into each player and put our name in the players, In our type of player we went to SYSTEM and then selected PLAYER SETTINGS and then OWNER and typed in our name on a little key pad that showed up. Once we did that our windows media player and the creative zen organizer and sync manager all see them as separate players. It dri've us crazy for days till we figured that out! Your player type may be somehwat different but I bet the answer is similar! Good luck!

  • Need help adding a second page on reports builder, paper layout.

    I have a requirement where I need to create a paper layout using Reports Builder (10.1.2.0.2). This report will print out the following:
    1) Invoice
    2) VAT Slip (on a separate page)
    So far I have created the invoice part and it is printing properly. Now I want to add the Vat slip. When I use the "Trailer Section" on the rdf report, I create a frame and inserted some text. The report ran just fine. Then in the same frame, I added a repeating frame. And now the report is completing with the following error:

    If you have created your own template (but it sounds like you haven't) you will need to 'capture' that page so it repeats on following pages.

I have to choose "other" as my emaill address is not through Yahoo, Aol, Gmail, etc. This is where I start having trouble. I have tried several ways to set things up with no luck. Just need someone who knows what they are doing.

    Contact the email provider and obtain the correct settings.
    Then setup the account using those settings.

  • Newbie needs help importing to second machine

    Thanks for your prompt reply. I was able to use the Export as Catalog from two separate folders that I want to now relocate to my desktop machine. As you recommended I moved as a catalog (file menu), and included the "negatives" (image files). I have now burned these two folders and their contents to a DVD and copied them to my desktop.
    Now I want to import them into Lightroom on my second machine, but I want the actual .CR2 files to reside in the following folder, which doesn't exist yet.

    Can you tell me how to accomplish this step? Do I create this folder and then place the files into that folder BEFORE importing? Or, do I import and then somehow move them later? Please keep in mind that I now have 2 separate folders from the trip.

    You can rename folders via the LR interface. It takes like 2 seconds. So get the photos and the catalog on the machine you want by hook or by crook, and then just edit the folder name via Lightroom.
    This is so simple I'm sorta wondering why there's a question :-/

    but I suspect your going to first have to create a data recovery drive
    Create a data recovery, undelete boot drive
    to get your data off the machine,
    then do a #20 to eliminate the bad sectors as that's why your getting the "pinwheel" it's getting a delay reading from the drive, right when your trying to log in too, what a bad spot for it to happen.

    Clear the receiver
    The iPhone receiver won't work properly if it's blocked or dirty. Here's where the receiver is:

    - Check the receiver opening to see if it's blocked or dirty. If necessary, clean the receiver opening with a clean, small, dry, soft-bristled brush.
