Need help solving priting problem.
Hello,
I'm writing because I found a problem with my Printer "hp psc 1315 all-in-one".
It's not connected to PC, but when I press printer's power button, it's automaticly starting to print alignment page.
After I turn it off and back to "on" It's starting to print alignment page over again.
I'm sorry for my poor enligsh dictionary, but I hope to get some help.

Anyway. Here's my problem
I work at a company that uses Oracle servers at diffrent subsidiaries. Most of the subsidiaries run enough applicaiton to motivate them to invest in an Oracle Server. I am using/devoloping a Machine/application that uses these servers. However now I have a problem since one of the smaller companies needs to use the machine in their manufacturing but this will be the only application they are running on an Oracle server, hence it's not motivated to invest in a large Oracle server.
I would like to install a server for them on a desktop computer that will be enough for them to run the machine. However it can not use all of the memory because the machine/application is running on the same computer. Any suggestion as to which product I need? I've had a look at the Oracle Lite but I need to use Stored procedures and I also use the Borland Database Engine so I guess it's not suitable for my application...
Using one of the other servers remotely is not an option because there are limitiations in bandwidth.

It was exactly what I needed. However I just found out that the bandwidth was recently increased which allows the subsidiary to run a remote oracle server. I will go for that alternative since those servers are fully supported by Database professionals.
That said, I must say that I'm really impressed with the Oracle eXpress. It was so easy to install and setup that even I managed to do it wihtout messing around with a lot of diffrent parameters. I guess there must be some backdraw but i haven't found it yet and I will probably be using it again. The web-interface is brilliant, easy too understand and navigate. Big props to the guys who came up with it! I can't see any reason not too choose Oracle eXpress for small scale applications. -
Need help solving a problem with recording
hello im using a korg k49 midi controller with garagband. whenever i record the instrument becomes "poppy" and the sound cuts in and out, almost like little click noises. does anyone know a solution to this problem? help would be appreciated
I have the same problem, except I'm trying to record guitar through a TASCAM US-122.
My theories:
1. Bad TASCAM drivers.
2. Leopard bug.
3. Garageband bug.
Some people suggest that things are better if you turn off your airport.
Rebooting and restarting Garageband can help.
So far, nothing is working for me. -
Need help solving common problem.
I have a Qosmio x305-701. It is a few months out of warranty and has not been repaired. However I am having an issue that seems to be pretty wide spread amongst the Qosmio laptops. During video games the screen will go black and the sound will loop over and over. The only alternative being a hard shutdown. I have tried all of the possible D-i-Y methods of fixing this issue but to no avail. I was wondering if there was a way I could repair this problem or get toshiba to repair it as it is a widespread, and possible factory defect. Any insight would be appreciated.

1. This procedure is a diagnostic test. It changes nothing, for better or worse, and therefore will not, in itself, solve the problem. But with the aid of the test results, the solution may take a few minutes, instead of hours or days.
Don't be put off merely by the seeming complexity of these instructions. The process is much less complicated than the description. You do harder tasks with the computer all the time.
2. If you don't already have a current backup, back up all data before doing anything else. The backup is necessary on general principle, not because of anything in the test procedure. Backup is always a must, and when you're having any kind of trouble with the computer, you may be at higher than usual risk of losing data, whether you follow these instructions or not.
There are ways to back up a computer that isn't fully functional. Ask if you need guidance.
3. Below are instructions to run a UNIX shell script, a type of program. All it does is to collect information about the state of the computer. That information goes nowhere unless you choose to share it. However, you should be cautious about running any kind of program (not just a shell script) at the behest of a stranger. If you have doubts, search this site for other discussions in which this procedure has been followed without any report of ill effects. If you can't satisfy yourself that the instructions are safe, don't follow them. Ask for other options.
Here's a summary of what you need to do, if you choose to proceed:

4. You may have started the computer in "safe" mode. Preferably, these steps should be taken in “normal” mode, under the conditions in which the problem is reproduced. If the system is now in safe mode and works well enough in normal mode to run the test, restart as usual. If you can only test in safe mode, do that.
5. If you have more than one user, and the one affected by the problem is not an administrator, then please run the test twice: once while logged in as the affected user, and once as an administrator. The results may be different. The user that is created automatically on a new computer when you start it for the first time is an administrator. If you can't log in as an administrator, test as the affected user. Most personal Macs have only one user, and in that case this section doesn’t apply. Don't log in as root.
6. The script is a single long line, all of which must be selected. You can accomplish this easily by triple-clicking anywhere in the line. The whole line will highlight, though you may not see all of it in the browser window, and you can then copy it. If you try to select the line by dragging across the part you can see, you won't get all of it.

Copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C.
7. Launch the built-in Terminal application in any of the following ways:
Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Terminal in the icon grid.
Click anywhere in the Terminal window and paste by pressing command-V. The text you pasted should vanish immediately. If it doesn't, press the return key.
8. If you see an error message in the Terminal window such as "syntax error," enter
exec bash
and press return. Then paste the script again.
9. If you're logged in as an administrator, you'll be prompted for your login password. Nothing will be displayed when you type it. You will not see the usual dots in place of typed characters. Make sure caps lock is off. Type carefully and then press return. You may get a one-time warning to be careful. If you make three failed attempts to enter the password, the test will run anyway, but it will produce less information. In most cases, the difference is not important. If you don't know the password, or if you prefer not to enter it, press the key combination control-C or just press return three times at the password prompt. Again, the script will still run.
If you're not logged in as an administrator, you won't be prompted for a password. The test will still run. It just won't do anything that requires administrator privileges.
10. The test may take a few minutes to run, depending on how many files you have and the speed of the computer. A computer that's abnormally slow may take longer to run the test. While it's running, there will be nothing in the Terminal window and no indication of progress. Wait for the line
[Process completed]
to appear. If you don't see it within half an hour or so, the test probably won't complete in a reasonable time. In that case, close the Terminal window and report the results. No harm will be done.
11. When the test is complete, quit Terminal. The results will have been copied to the Clipboard automatically. They are not shown in the Terminal window. Please don't copy anything from there. All you have to do is start a reply to this comment and then paste by pressing command-V again.
At the top of the results, there will be a line that begins with the words "Start Time." If you don't see that, but instead see a mass of gibberish, you didn't wait for the "Process completed" message to appear in the Terminal window. Please wait for it and try again.
If any private information, such as your name or email address, appears in the results, anonymize it before posting. Usually that won't be necessary.
12. When you post the results, you might see the message, "You have included content in your post that is not permitted." It means that the forum software has misidentified something in the post as a violation of the rules. If that happens, please post the test results on Pastebin, then post a link here to the page you created.

No one has been able to help me solve this problem even geeks on call
So please out there give me some good advice. This feels like a level 5
I have three computers at three different locations. The first one is a emac at my office running classic 9.2. The second location is a power book g4 running 10.4.5. at my home. The third is a power book g3 running OS 9.2.2at a third location.
What I am trying to do is to access my computer at my office from the other two locations. My office has two computers that are on a network and talk to each other. They are both EMAC"S. They are connected by a ethernet network which is connected to a DSL modem which keeps me on the Internet all the time.
At the other two locations I have direcway satellite which is broadband which also stays on all the time on the internet.
I need to be able to access a data base on my main computer at my office and run the program which is an Omnis 7 program. I have multi user capabilities for this program, so that all the computers can access the data files at the same time and reqad and write.
So this is my dileema.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

Also, I'm wondering if you are experiencing problems between using old and new versions of remote desktop.
In any case, when you say you have multi-user capabilities, to me that implies that from location 2 and 3 you want to open the database file directly, not open it within an RDC session on a machine at location 1. That will be a different issue. Now you are talking about file shares over TCP/IP. -
I updated the new IOS 4.3.3 on my IPad, since then i Am having trouble accesesing any App. What happens is i cant enter it or other wise it closes as soon as i enter it...i need help solving tris inconvenient.
I have the same problem and I haven't solved it yet. On Friday I plugged in my iPad to my work computer after not having done so for quite a while. Today I went onto the work computer and discovered I had not updated iTunes before plugging in the iPad (and which I cannot do without an administrator password). I guess I will update iTunes and try again when I can get the guy to show up with the password. I hope that works. The reset idea does not work on mine.
Was your iiTunes updated before you tried? Have you found any solution yet? Mail and some internet apps still work but games, notes applications, spreadsheets etc. just begin to open and close immediately.
If anybody has answers I'd love to get some clues. -

Welcome to Apple Support Communities
When you try to copy data to the external drive, what happens? If you don't see any error, the external drive is formatted in NTFS, and OS X can't write in it.
To be able to write on this external drive, you have to use an app like Paragon NTFS. Another solution would be to format the external drive in FAT32 or exFAT with Disk Utility > http://pondini.org/OSX/DU1.html Make sure you copied all the files of the external disk to the internal disk before doing it -

I need to generate a clock with a period of 20 micro seconds, duty cycle of
approx 20% and a data line as well as an address line all linked to the clock

I have tried many different solutions, all using the Daq PCI-1200 but nothing
seems to work correctly. Usually the system bombs and I have to do a manual
reset to over come the problem.
Any suggestions?

You'll need an external clock, expecially under Windows.
Windows ticks with appr. 18 Hz, and the CPU tick isn't always available
when Windows tasks multi.

I need help solving Latest Flash Player upgrade crashing issues.
I recently upgraded my flash player at Adobe reccomendation. Now it crashes all the time. I need help solving this issue. I currently have Flash Version 11.5.502.135. My old version never crashed, not even once. I would be fine uninstalling the new version and going back to the older one but i cant find it.
