Hey,
Today when I connected my 30GB iPod video, I made a movement that disconnected my iPod from the computer, and now all my music is gone, but the thing is it still says "Used - 15GB, Free - 12GB" How can that be if I can access the music? Now when I connect my iPod a little bubble pops up on the top right hand corner that says...
"iTunes.iTunes.exe - Corrupt File
The file or directory \iPod_Control\iTunes\Plsy Counts is corrupt and unreadable. Please run the Chkdsk utility."
Does anyone know if there is a way to get my music back?

Sounds like a file on the iPod is corrupted. You will need to do a restore. As long as you files are in iTunes then you will not lose anything. However, anything on the iPod will be gone.

Something weird happend to my contact list...any help?

Hi guys,
2 days ago i deleted someone from my bbm, so i was out of his list and he is out of my list. Yesterday my bbm was tripping, so i deleted and reinstalled bbm, and i used restore contacts... and he is back in my list again, i asume i'm not in his list again automatical ly. 10 min after i restored my contact list, everyones display picture changed, and i saw a picture of him i never seen before, and that one sure is not the same one back when i deleted him, i was like ??? but i left it alone, i left him in my list this time. Today i got a notificatio n about a bbm software update, so i installed that of course...af ter reboot i saw everyones picture update again, and once again i saw a different picture of him i never seen before, lol!
So how is it possible that i see his picture updates? well, i dont rly see it when he update it, only if i renew or reinstall my bbm...thats weird right? Anyone have a idea about this?

Ya thats kinda odd.
What I would have to guess would be this
Your BBM can be set to wirelessly backup its contacts to a registered email. Chances are it was backed up prior to you deleting him.
Then when you deleted/reinstalled BBM. it synced with that backup file with him as a contact.
aside from that, your contacts are most likely just updating their profile pics. I have a contact that does it almost HOURLY ( shes a little odd )

I NEED HELP!*weird menu setup thing white screen"read verify scan"*

basically...my dad had to delete everything off the computer and install everything back on again. i installed itunes, and the ipod setup thingy u have to do. when i plugged my ipod in and switched it on it came up with a white screen with a menu on it i havent seen before. i started setting my ipod up throuh the menu, and it has now reached a screen and at the top it says "Read Verify Scan scan takes a while" below that it says:

Volts=508
Level=10
Charge Ok !

it has been on this screen for a while now. i cant switch it off, and if i unplug it the volts and level number decreases. should i leave it plugged in or unplug it, or what else should i do?? i hope you can help me with this problem.

My little brother messed up with my iPod touch 4th Gen by entering the wrong password , now all data is beeing erased what should I do.The iPod is just showing the Apple Logo and some buffering icon below it.Need help fast!I'm really worried!

- I suspect that he went to Settings>General>Reset>Erase all content and settings. For 1G or 2G iPod that can take hours and it will likely stall out if not connected to a charging source.
Try the following:
- A reset.
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- The connect to computer and try to restore via iTunes.
- Id something is still showing onthe screen, disconnect from computer/charging source and let the battery fully drain. After charging for an hour, Try the reset and restore.
- If you can turn the iPod off, se if placing the iPod in recovery mode and then restore. For recovey mode:
iPhone and iPod touch: Unable to update or restore

Yesterday, something weird happened to all my apps on all my apple products, when I open the app store on my iPhone, iPad and my the Mac app store on my Mac, it says that all my apps are updated and it's a lie!! cause I have a lot of apps that need an update, I don't know why this is happening, please help!

Okay all good we got into the layers - there was an non editable group/path/second layer. Clicked the circle next to that layer to select all, I was now able to click and edit my artwork but the colours were still stucj in a transparency and were at 100% tint & opacity - fixed that by copying and pasting in document. I dont know how, I dont know why but it worked and big thanks to my special friend for figuring it out and hleping me

Weird error message need help..

SO.. i havent updated my itunes in a while because i keep getting this weird message.. it comes up when im almost done installing the newest/newer versions of itunes. it says
"the feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable" "click ok to try again or enter an alternate path to a folder containing the installation package 'iTunes.msi' in the box below"
now when ever i choose a file from the browse box it replies with this message "the file 'xxx' is not a valid installation package for the product iTunes. try to find the installation package iTunes.msi in a folder from which you can install iTunes."

With that one, let's try the following procedure.
First, head into your Add/Remove programs and uninstall your QuickTime. If it goes, good. If it doesn't, we'll just attend to it when we attend to iTunes.
Next, download and install the Windows Installer CleanUp utility:

Now launch Windows Installer CleanUp ("Start > All Programs > Windows Install Clean Up"), find any iTunes and/or QuickTime entries in the list of programs in CleanUp, select those entries, and click “remove”.
Next, we'll manually remove any leftover iTunes or QuickTime program files:
(1) Open Local Disk (C:) in Computer or whichever disk programs are installed on.
(2) Open the Program Files folder.
(3) Right-click the iTunes folder and select Delete and choose Yes when asked to confirm the deletion.
(4) Right-click the QuickTime folder and select Delete and choose Yes when asked to confirm the deletion. (Note: This folder may have already been deleted if QuickTime was successfully removed using Add/Remove Programs earlier.)
(5) Delete the QuickTime and QuicktimeVR files located in the C:\Windows\system32\ folder. Click Continue if Windows needs confirmation or permission to continue. (Note: These files may have already been deleted if QuickTime was successfully removed using Add/Remove Programs earlier.)
(6) Right-click on the Recycle Bin and on the shortcut menu, click Empty Recycle Bin.
(7) Restart your computer.
Now try another iTunes install. Does it go through properly now?

If you have not done a factory reset on the device, I recommend doing a complete factory reset.
Factory Reset - Warning this will reset device back to original factory settings.
This method will not erase any MDN/MIN information
Turn off the phone
Press Power + Volume Up/Down at the same time and hold until display will show a triage android screen
Display will show:
Reboot system Now
Apply sdcard:update.zip
Wipe Data/Factory Reset
Wipe Cache Partition
Use VOL Down key to scroll down to "Wipe Data/Factory Reset", press home icon to select option and wipe device.
Display shows "All user data will be wiped out", press VOLUME Up to continue or VOLUME Down to exit.
Press Volume Up
Press Home to select "Reset System Now" - device will reboot
If the problem persist I recommend having a store technician take a look at the device.

If the device is jail broken - and the message is that the iPad is not eligible for the requested build - there are tons of articles on the internet that discuss how to fix the iPad. Use Google.

You are talking to fellow users on these forums, not iTunes Support or Apple - I've asked the hosts to remove your phone number from your post.
For the Camera app, try closing it via the taskbar and see if it works when you re-open the app : from the home screen (i.e. not with the Camera app 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar at the bottom of the iPad's screen, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the Camera app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
If that doesn't fix it then try a soft-reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.
In terms of syncing, you will need iTunes on your computer - if you haven't already downloaded it then you can do so from here : http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
You can conncet the iPad to your computer and select it on the left-hand sidebar of your computer's iTunes (you can enable the sidebar on iTunes 11 on a PC via control-S), and use the tabs on the right-hand side of the iTunes screen to sycn your content to the iPad.

For the excel file, what app are you viewing/editing it in ? If the values are different then it may be that the app that you are using doesn't support all the formulas that are being used in the spreadsheet. Apps that 'support' excel documents include Apple's Numbers app, and from third-parties apps such as Documents To Go ('premium' version) and QuickOffice Pro HD.

I have need help with something Please respond Quickly ok so i have the linksys wrt54g Version 2.2 and i upgraded the firmware to V4.21.4 from this site http://homesupport.cisco.com/en-us/wireless/lbc/WRT54G and i clicked V2.2 for the router. So after i upgraded i lost internet ability i can't use the internet so i had to downgrade back to V4.21.1 but i want the things that newer update sloves. Please Help. Everything thing says DNS error? aka Modem.

It's better to post the URL of the feed (as you have subsequently done) than the contents of the feed .
From the FeedValidator report the feed is basically OK for iTunes. There are several occasions where 'content:encoded' sections (following immediately on 'guid' tags) should be enclosed in
<description>...</description>
tags: however all this will be ignored by iTunes anyway and only applies to other readers. The 'potentially dangerous content' referred to by FeedValidator is within the 'content:encoded' tags and so isn't relevant to iTunes. They are referring to an inline css style, and I don't know whether this might cause a problem elsewhere.
You should really have a language tag, e.g.
<language>en-us</language>
(you have a dc:language tag but that's for a different system). This should be placed in the top section, before the first 'item' tag.
It's advisable to have an 'itunes:explicit' tag for each 'item' -
<itunes:explicit>yes IF CONTAINS ADULT MATERIAL, OTHERWISE no</itunes:explicit>
it's not compulsory if you have no adult material, but you must have a 'yes' if you do.
You can check your feed by subscribing in iTunes from the 'Advanced' menu - this has the same result as clicking the 'Subscribe' button on the Store page. If it works OK there you are ready to submit it.

Had this weird issue...Need help!!!

I got this issue, where user was not able to apply leaves on HR portal, which he was able to apply in past.
We did our analysis and found some roles were end dated by background job.
We extended the validity of the roles which were end dated, but he was still not able to apply for leaves.
Then I was suggested to remove the roles of users and assign them back and it worked.
Not sure why and how it got resolved....need help in understanding what happened here

Then we can only speculate.
A possible speculation is buffering and some non-authorization attributes attached to the role, such as personalization keys. Some selects wait for the buffers to roll, others bypass buffering when selecting data which might have changed. This would mean that it was just timing that SU01 seemed to work, or SU01 triggered the bypassing of the buffer after the change but PFCG did not.
Anyway, as long as it worked in the end... :-)

I sync my iPad. Now everything is messed up playlists and music are gone. Weird stuff showed up. And now I can't find the option to delete or make new playlists. 6.1.2 is my newest version!! NEED HELP!!

So I don't sync my iPad very often. My dad and I share a computer. And I decided to do it the other day. I am pretty sure I did it all correctly selecting music that I wanted not deleting playlists but it seems to be that they are gone. And music I didn't want has appeared. And now I don't have an option (with this new iOS 6.1.2) to make new playlists or edit music I don't want out.
I know I need help figuring those two things out 1 how to make a play list. There isn't a "add" button anymore in that screen I have a "you have no playlist"with a button underneath that says "go to iTunes Store" why I would need the store for that, I do not know.
Then in the songs, artists, albums sections where you used to be able to hit "edit" button to delete the music you have that you don't want. I don't seem to be able to do anything at all to get rid of the random music I have.
I need help. I know my iPad fairly well but I am not super savvy with it either.

Is there a "New" button at the top right of the Playlists section of Music?
There is no Edit button to delete music, swipe sideways on the song to reveal the delete button. Tap and hold on the artwork in Artists and albums to reveal the (X) button to delete. Or connect the iPad back up to iTunes on the computer and check your sync settings for music to ensure you are syncing the right content.

PB wont startup!!! need help!!

ok, something happen to my PB, i was doing a software update to isight, i dont have it was popping up every time i turn it on, somewhere in the middle of the prosses froozed and the only option was to force quit it and after that i shut it dowm (the PB) a day later i tried to use my PB a after pressing the power button stay on the grey screen w/ the apple logo and the progress bar, that it, nothing else happend, i need help, i have to do some work in there... please help!

thanks, i found that i had my game cd inside, i was able to eject it, i start the PB with the start up cd, and run a disk first aid, the result was OK, the i run the hardware test cd, the same result, everything look aright, but when i want to start the PB normally, nothing happens, stay in the apple logo with the dial thingy and that it! Please i need help!!!
