Need help synching my Droid X2 Calendar to Gmail Calendar

Hi. I'm having problems synching my Droid X2 calendar to my Gmail Calendar. I am able to add appointments on my gmail calendar and they show up on my Droid Calendar. BUT I can not get appointments entered (or existing) from my Droid Calendar to my gmail calendar. In my phone's calendar settings I can not make my Phone Calendar show as synch and visible (it'll go not synch/visible or not synch/not visible, BUT will not show synch). I really want to be able to see all my appointments from my gmail calendar. Anyone know how to fix this?

When you view event details on the phone, it will list "phone" or your Gmail address as the calendar. They can also have a different color assigned to it.
When you create the event, the calendar selection option is usually at the very top of the create event dialog.
Once you create the event, you can't change the calendar where it is saved.

Sync iPad calendar to Gmail Calendar

Hey all,
I have done a lot of research about trying to figure out how to sync appointments made on my iPad to my Gmail calendar. I have found countless guides for how to get entries from Gmail to iPad which works for me, but I have not been able to find a solution for a 2 way sync, or at least from iPad to Google.
Since I share the iPad and multiple people, they will make calendar appointments on the iPad. Since the iPad will typically stay at home, I would like to find a way to get all of the appointments on my iPad to sync to my Moto Droid.
I figured the easiest way was to somehow sync the iPad with Google Calendar as I can sync that down to my phone.
Has anyone had any success with either a constant 2 way automatic sync? If not is there anyway I can easily get whats on my iPad onto either my Moto droid or Gmail Calendar?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Google Sync works for iPhone, iPad, Windows Mobile, Blackberry, and Outlook for Windows, as well as others. I haven't tried it with Android, but being from Google, it's likely it will work as well. It syncs Google Calendar to your various devices. I can also sync Gmail and Addressbook, if you wish.
I have this set up to sync iCal on my Mac Mini, Macbook Pro, Outlook on my Windows PC and my Windows Mobile phone. I have this setup on a client to keep a husband & wife's calendar in sync on 2 iPhones, his iPad, his Macbook, "family" Mac Pro and her Outlook for Windows. Previously they also had Blackberries. But basically it's multiple people editing the same calendar and keeping multiple devices in sync. (This client is NOT syncing their addressbook, as each wants their own on their phones. They primarily wanted a shared calendar.)

How can I sync my Outlook 2010 calendar with Gmail Calendar now that Google Sync is no longer available

My iPhone 3 had been syncing fine with Outlook 2003 via Google Sync. I recently had to reload my PC, wiped it and installed Outlook 2010 as part of the reload; when I tried to install Google Sync I learned it was no longer available for download after December 14th.....I did have it on another PC, moved it over but got an error message. So I am no longer able to make calendar changes on my iPhone and have them sync to Outlook or vise versa. In addition my Google calendar is now empty....
Anyone know of a way to enable a sync between Google Calendar and Outlook 2010
Is there a way to add or import my Outlook Calendar to Google Calendar?

no you can not do that. You can sync any web calendar that supports web dav to lightning, but Microsoft have chosen to not use the open standard and instead only offer a Microsoft Proprietary interface. Nothing new here though. They only offered a Microsoft Proprietary interface to download mail for many years. They call it innovation. I call it vendor lock in.
Interestingly enough you can sync office 365 calendar via OWA but not outlook.com

Need help synching my blackberry to my microsoft exchange outlook email account

I am a student at baylor and we have an outlook e-mail exchange and my blackberry calender will show the meetings that i acccept but will not show the items I put on the calendar. I tried synching it but it was not working. Any suggestions?

You may need to map your Exchange Calendar within the BlackBerry Desktop Manager.

Need Help with Outlook 2011 sync with Apple Contact/Calendar

After updating my OS to Maverick, I noticed that my outlook 2011 no longer sync with my apple contact/calendar. Anybody who has the same experienced and any suggestions on how to sync this.

I have an iphone and now have a new macbook pro. My hotmail does not synch between the two. Called apple support and they couldn't help me. Stated I needed to load imap vs pop and had to get hotmail support. Deleted Pop acct.
It appears to still not synch with phone. Turned phone off/on. What else do I need to do?

Need help synching contacts.

I'm on a MacBook Pro, 10.8.5, running iTunes 11.1.2.
I have an Phone 4.
I am trying to synch my contacts so that everything on my phone shows up on my computer, and vice versa. In iTunes, when I plug my phone into my computer, under Synch Contacts it says, "Your contacts are being synched with your iPhone over the air. Over-the-air synch settings can be changed on your iPhone."
My contacts are NOT being synched over the air. I have a lot of contacts on my phone that are not showing up on my computer, and vice versa. And where do I change the setting on my phone to synch manually? I went into Groups and turned off Exchange, but that didn't do anything. I am very afraid of erasing everything.

To sync manually and not over the air. Connect the phone with the cable to your computer.
iTunes>iPhone>Summary>Options>Untick Sync with iPhone over Wifi
Sync contacts and other info with iPod touch, iPhone, or iPad
Connect your iPhone, iPod touch, or iPad to your computer and select your device.
Click the Info button and select the items you want to sync.
Click Apply.

Need help synching

My girlfriend has a different iTunes account than me but wants to be able to synch using my pc. When I sign out of my iTunes account and she signs in to hers and synchs, iTunes still shows my apps and music. Why don't her apps and music show?

OK....then getting her iTunes library off her dead MAC won't work. I still recommend you create a separate iTunes account on your PC. Name one account, the other account hers. Her account will need to be authorized with her Apple ID and Password first. Before she connects for the first time, open her iTunes account and go into preferences, devices and make sure you do not have automatically sync device when connected to iTunes. What you want to do is not sync the first time. You want to transfer purchases, then sync. To transfer purchases, once her iTunces account has been authorized and her iPad is connected, it should be recognized on the left side of the iTunes screen. Right click the device and choose Transfer Purchases. Then she can sync.

I'm trying to set up the local school with a calendar for the sports schedule as well as a separate one for district events like school board meetings and would like to be able to add one for the holidays, exams and things of that nature. The sports calendar works but I can't figure out how to add the second caledar to iCal or my iPhone. It shows shared but doesn't appear as a possible delegate in iCal and will not load on the iPhone.
Google has the output to allow more than one calendar to display on a website but syncing at the level I want with the "i" apps isn't obvious.
Am I missing something? I really don't want one very cluttered master calendar for the school. Being able to turn on and off the various types of calendar will make it much easier to manage.

I need help synching my iPod to my older Mac

Hi,
I have a 3rd gen iPod Touch (is that the generation before they came out with the camera?). And, I had it synched with my home computer (a G4 running 10.4.11) for the longest time. Well, then (in efforts to getting the latest iOS) I synched it with my work computer (a MacPro running Snow Leopard). Clearly, I understand the difference in the Mac OS's and therefore the different iTunes version.
However, I'd like to reformat my iPod to begin synching it with my home computer. (I utilize iCal at home, and would like to integrate it on my iPod).
So, I've erased the iPod (using it's proprietary erasing feature) and then plugged it in at home. However, I still get the error: "upgrade your version of iTunes to the latest version." I've upgraded everything I can, but I still get this error. I'm guessing the iPod is still looking for the MacPro (or, at least, the latest iTunes -- which I can't install on my PowerMac G4).
Any suggestions? Is there anyway to format the iPod so it thinks it's a brand new iPod? I'm not worried about my apps - those are all saved in my Apple Acct.

I can't downgrade even if the iPod was originally setup on the older G4 ?? I guess I could check into leopard on my G4. I didn't think I could run leopard. I thought 10.5 was for Intel-chipped Macs. But, I guess yours is running fine
Yeah, I have a Dual 1.25Ghz processor, so, apparently, it should work fine.
And, I guess I have the 2nd gen ipod touch -- determined by the list (thanks Carolyn Samit) and by the fact that it's the 8Gb flashdrive.
Ok, I'll check into 10.5 for the G4!

i have ituns 7.0.1.8 and from the link below it says in like step 3 to go to the "source" pane and i caouldntfind it. were is it at?
also this is a friends ipod hat i am putting some songs on because he doesnt have a pc. so do i need to register it first for it to show under source?

The source list is the pane on the left hand side of iTunes that shows your playlists etc. If the iPod isn't showing have a look at the troubleshooting document: iTunes 7 for Windows doesn't recognize iPod

Computer crashed - lost itunes - need help synching to new computer

Well last night I was the lucky recipient of a virus...on my old Desktop computer. After battling it for 2.5 hours I had to give up, it basically doesn't work anymore. This was the computer that I've always had itunes on, and the one that I sync both my iPhone 3Gs and iPod with.
Can someone please tell me:
a)Once I install iTunes on my new laptop, will it give me issues when I try to resync my ipod? Luckily I have the music backed up on an external hard drive. But will it allow me to sync?
b)how can I sync my iphone to the new computer/iTunes, without losing all my apps and pictures? Everything was backed up on my OLD computer and therefore lost.
Please help - it totally ***** and I've never had to move stuff over before.
