NEED HELP! TASK MANAGER GONE WRONG?

Hello, I am stuck in this thing in task manager, I tried rebooting but it doesn't work. I wanna close a background process but I can't. Here is a screenshot of what happened. I can't seem to go anyhwere in the manager. PLEASE HELP!

When you tell us nothing, we know nothing. Even the version of Windows is unknown.
Perhaps you are confused by Task Manager's Tiny Footprint mode. You can toggle that state by double-clicking on its border.
Tiny Footprint mode looks like this.

Need help! colours horrribly wrong in PS CS5!

Not sure what i did, but something in photoshop cs5 color management has gone wrong. When I open any of my images (say a pdf in adobe reader e.g.) it looks fine. When I open the same image in photoshop or bridge, the colours have a horrible red/magenta cast. All images my images have the same cast, that doesn't exits when I print them.
I tried changing proof settings in view>proof setup, but nothing has much effect.
Also tried Edit> Color settings but that doesnt seem to affect anything either.
I'm sure I've changed a profile setting somewhere, but not sure where. Any help would be appreciated.

Was it once working properly and not it's not? If so, do you know what on your system may have changed?
Have you calibrated your monitor? What profile is associated with it? This is found in the Windows display properties. If you'll note what operating system you're running I or someone will be happy to show you where to find it.
Does the problem change if you go into Edit - Preferences - Performance, uncheck Enable OpenGL Display, and restart Photoshop?

Really need help on finding whats wrong with my internet please

Ok I now have Sky BB (not fibre normal). I have a black Sky hub, connected to my Apple Time Capsule (the flat type, think its 3rd Gen), the TC is in bridge mode, the Sky hub has wireless switched off.
I also use Powerline adapters from the TC to my iMac, also use numerous WiFi devices, iPhones, Apple TVs, iPads etc.
I keep getting intermittent "blips", drop outs, no connection, slow use etc, and I just can't get to the bottom of it. Really really appreciate some solid advice and help. Overtime its dropped (or I think it is), I can check Airport utility on my iPhone or iMac and shows all green, and internet connected, physically iy shows green to. The sky hi also shows connection on the hub, and if I goto the home page.
I've just had a drop/connection loss now, I've been into the logs on sky hub and nothing is shown, only form yesterday. I can't check the TC logs now, I have the old Airport utility that did used to show you, but it won't open now on 10.10.3.
I've reset powerline etc, but it doesn't seem to be that, as although iPhone shows connected to WiFi it doesnt connect to internet.
I believe the actual Sky end is ok, I goto into the sky hub home page 192.168.0.1, and shows connected, Sky have ran tests etc and all seems ok. What I'm wondering is if its the TC? I've had a few times now where the TC says has to restart backup as been a problem

Why down grade the firmware? What will that do/give me?
On the older units i find the earlier firmware more reliable.. The 7.6.4 introduced a number of new functions that work poorly on older AE and TC so it is simple to revert to older firmware and see..
It is a 3min exercise.. and might do nothing.. but you are trying to prove where an issue is.. this is part of that testing.
If I factory restore what will that do? I take it I can't use the backup settings to restore afterwards?
All routers need the occasional reset. Wrong settings creep in.. and particularly in situations where there is power outages or OS that works poorly (read Yosemite) then strange and wonderful things happen.
A backup of settings is only useful if it was taken before the problems started.. did you?? If not forget it and configure from scratch.. that is a key part of getting things to work.
Not sure what is meant by the use LAN port instead, thought I had to use the WAN if I connect it to my Sky hub?
When the TC is bridged.. it has no WAN port. There is no routing.. but I have found the LAN ports are more reliable than the WAN port.
With you saying about "only lasts a while" is it worth buying a new shape one refurbished from Apple? Are the newer shape any better reliability?
I would not buy a refurbished.. I doubt this model is understood very well and its issues happen in some situations and not others.. I think a lot of them are put back in stock without any sort of repair. They are tested .. found working and hence resold.. but the situation in people's homes is not a test lab. When people connect them to modems and routers that the device has issues with it fails again.
I find it hard to recommend the new one.. especially as it has now been out more than a year.. and firmware has not improved.
It is about refresh time and I would wait to see if a new one is coming.
If you need wireless buy a wireless router.. if you need backup use a local USB drive.
Repair of the TC is complicated.

I figured this out long ago so they were already showing up with issues within 3 years.. if you get 4 or more years out of modern equipment.. that is beyond its design lifespan.

I have a File with links to other PDF files. In the Reader it works without problems.

My activeX references were "FileGlobals" (), that's why i had a lot of  exe COM servers running on my PC.
I tried to set my activeX references in "Locals" or to set the variable to the keyword Nothing : it works :smiley happy:!!!

Noob needs help using/managing large font collection in os10

Hope this is the correct forum for this question. I'm a os10 noob starting at a new, small startup design-oriented biz (6-7 macs) that needs to manage fonts - 100s, over a 1000. Other places I've worked used Font Reserve and I'm familiar with that program but I never knew if it came with os10 or you had to go buy it, and if you needed to buy a separate copy for each computer?
I'm trying to help get this biz set-up, but I know NOTHING about font usage/set-up in os10. I've always used ATM Deluxe4.6 (os9) and have over 2000 fonts nicely arranged in sets (took me an entire day, way back when). Would love to transfer these arranged sets into os10, if possible.
Is there a built-in font mgmt in os10? Is it any good for large collections? Is Font Reserve a good program for large font collections?
I don't even know where os10 stores fonts or the right questions to ask. Pls point me in the right direction!

I've only 2 years of experience in Oracle DBA. I need advice from Experts:)
To begin, the company I work for, decide to daily save in our Oracle database about 40 millions of records in our only table (User tables). These records should be daily imported from csv or xml feeds into one table.
This 's a project that need :
- Study the performance
- Study What is required in terms of hardware
As a leader in the market, Oracle 's the only DBMS that could support this size of data, but what's the limit of Oracle in this case? can Oracle support and manage perfectly daily 40 millions of records and for many years, ie We need all data of this table, we can't consider after a period that we don't need history: we need to save all data and without purge the history and this for many years i suppose!!! you can imagine 40 daily millions of records and for many years!!!
Then we need to consolidate from this table different views (or maybe materalized view) for each department and business inside the company, one other project that need study!
My questions 're :Using Oracle Database 10g Enterprise Edition Release 10.2.0.1.0:
1-Can Oracle support and perfectly manage daily 40 millions of records and for many years?
2-Study the performance ; which solutions, technics could I use to improve the performance of :
- Daily Loading 40 millions of records from csv or xml file/files?
- Daily Consolidate / managing different views/ materalized view from this big table?
3- What is required in terms of hardware? features / Technologies( maybe clusters...)

Need help, I have used wrong email address for my apple ID

Hi Everyone
I have just received my new IPOD (never used one before) I have set up an apple id using the IPOD but I inputted 1 wrong letter from my email address and I didnt get my verification email to complete set up. I changed my apple ID using my PC but it has not registered on my ipod that Ive updated my ID, now I cant use any apps on the IPOD as it is asking for my password but not the option to change the incorrect email address I submitted originally. Hope this makes sense and that some one can help me :-(

Need Help - Contract Management & Marketplace

We have got some requirement of developing 'Contract Management' and 'Marketplace' applications. In contract management the complete business process starting from demand planning, hiring, mobilization / execution / demobilization of contract and process management are required. In 'Marketplace' various kind of interaction among 'Requester/Contract Manager, Purchaser, Supplier and Transporter' are required.
My query is 'Does contract Mangement' is part of 'Contract Lifecycle Mangement' application of SRM or something else. If yes, from where I can get a list of BPML or standard business process of the same.
Second, 'Marketplace' - Does it also get covered in some application of SRM or 'Marketplace' is a different application altogether? In either case how can I get more about this application.

I Need Help : File Managment with ITunes

I have a library of music on an external drive. I ripped my CD's with Winamp in .wav format. I bought an IPod, and ultimately would like to convert my .wav files on my external drive into .aac, then upload to my ipod. I imported the file into my music library (iTunes reorginized all of my files, which was a problem) but they remain in .wav format. When I highlight the file and run "convert to .acc" from the "Advanced"drop down menu. This converts the file, buy duplicates an instance of the song, and it is very difficult to manage the files (determining which have been coverted ect)
Any suggestions?

Right click on any column title of the Library view and check "Kind" so you will see amoung other information the file kind (AAC, MP3, etc.).
Then, left click on the column title "Kind" so your song will be ordered by kind. Now you have all you WAV and AAC songs separated. You can now delete the ones you want and remove the "Kind" column when no longer needed.

Need help with managing .mts files from Canon XA-10

I capture a lot of lectures and other long events. As such, I need to import my files and then put them into the Premiere Pro CC timeline in order but when I do, it looks like they're skipping a frame when arranged chronologically. Usually I find the footage on the camera through the Media Browser and then bring that one big file into the timeline and export it that way. This process takes FOREVER. I'd prefer to be able to copy the individual 2GB .mts files and add them to my timeline. Any ideas or solutions out there?

Ok, so, perhaps explaining my workflow in detail would help better address my problem:
1. record lecture, let's say 1 hour
That will make around 5 2GB .mts files on the Canon XA-10 Built-in Memory(64GB)
2. connect camera via USB 3.0 port to computer and create a new PP project for this lecture
3. through the Media Browser tab, I locate the file on the camera and drop it into the timeline of the new project
4. wait for the file to conform(depending on the length of the file, could take many minutes, sometimes an hour)
5. after conforming, I export the file in it's entirety to it's appropriate project folder on the computer(this will take at least as long as the file length, most times longer). On the export screen, I check the box to import file into project upon completion.
As you can see, importing my tapeless assets from the camera can take up to an hour and a half, sometimes longer, before I am able to start editing them. Obviously, when I simply copy the 2GB .mts files from the camera to a project folder through Finder or Windows Explorer, it takes a considerably less amount of time. The problem I then encounter is that when I then try to place them into the PP project timeline as individual files, they appear to skip frames at their edit points, or about every 11.5 minutes. I just tired JSS1138's idea and I get the same problem as before.

Help - PSE Install Gone Wrong. Error Messages & Gibberish in Mac Files

I hope someone can help me!!! I am super freaked out . I installed the PSE 8 for on my Mac last night. I had tested the trial on my computer without any problems a few months ago. So anyway, the program immediately started giving me error messages about not being able to copy and paste images. Then I noticed one of my Keynote documents text became jumbled. And more importantly, a Pages file that I am getting ready to send to a printer is now 95% gibberish! I have not closed it out and tried to save a new file but the new file is still gibberish.
When I installed the PSE 8, I check marked all the boxes (options) and I am wondering if that is the problem. How do I fix my files so the gibberish goes back to normal? I know I will have to reinstall the PSE which is no big deal.
My main concern is having my Page & Keynote files fixed!
I am grateful for any feedback and suggestions!!!!

Thank you! I will be sure to repair permissions after installs. I didn't know that.
So while I was on hold for about 45mins. with customer support, I discovered that my files that had gibberish became normal once I changed the font. 90% of the files were using the Adobe Garamond Pro font. So when I changed the font to Arial, you could read it again. So it seems like the Garamond font got corrupted. I need to use this file for the 12 page newsletter that I have already typeset.
Now that PSE is removed, the Garamond font is back to normal!!
I am going to wait until I get the newsletter off to the printer before I reinstall PSE. Any suggestions on how to not let PSE corrupt it or why do you think that happened? I did tell it to install everything on the CD (all the extras which may had extra fonts?)

I need help manually managing music- I only want select artists and albums in bulk

I am currently trying to sync music with a new Ipod (120GB) and am having diffuculty.
What I have done: I have checked the 'Manually manage music' box and am able to select music I want to sync with the Ipod no the 'Music' Page of the Ipod.
What I am trying to do: I have over 400GB of music, so I only want to select certain artists and albums. In this case I am trying to select batches of music to take across to another PC in alphabetical order. In other words, I want to select all Artists and Albums starting with the letters A, B and C.
What I want to know how to avoid: I am currently being forced to click on every single artist and album starting with A, B and C individually which as you can imagine is taking hours!!! I want to be able to select all artists or albums starting at one point and ending at another point, without having to click individually on each and every line item.
Please help! This is going to take me forever!

Enable the sidebar with CTRL+S if not there
Create a playlist with CTRL+N
Go to the Songs view.
Click the heading of the Album column until it reads Album
Select the first track of the first album
Scroll down the list until you see the last track of the last album beginning with C
Hold down shift and click that last track
Drag the selection to the playlist name and let go
Click the heading of the Album column until it reads Album by Artist
Select the first track of the first album
Scroll down the list until you see the last track of the last album beginning with C
Hold down shift and click that last track
Drag the selection to the playlist name and let go, don't copy duplicates
Drag this playlist to the device, or better yet go to automatic syncing and sync the playlist. You can then edit for the next update when the device isn't connected. You can also create additional playlists for stuff you "must have" on the iPod, new stuff etc. Automatic syncing is easier, more powerful, and more selective than manual management.

I'm trying to calculate the depreciation using capex module.
The fiscal year is start from Apr.
The case is like this below :
- when the purchase date is in January, February, March, the depreciation will be putted in the last year.
For example :
Purchase Date : 01012012 (1 st January 2012)
Cost : 600000
useful life : 5 year
then the depreciation = 10000 for each month
But the result in capex module :

## NEED HELP ## Weblogic Managed Server Holding Maximum Connections

In one of our weblogic setup, we have weblogic cluster with 4 members. This cluster has been setup with 2 physical servers, each server having 2 cluser members like below...
Host Server 1 : ManagedServer1:7003, ManagedServer2:7004
Host Server2 : ManagedServer3:7003, ManagedServer4:7004
Cluster member of ManagedServer1:7003 holding maximum connection to HostServer2 and same cluser member of ManagedServer3:7003 holding maximum connection with HostServer1.
As my assumption, since members are in cluster, heartbeat between the members (Host Server 1 : ManagedServer1:7003 and Host Server2 : ManagedServer3:7003) are holding the connections.
Currently each managed server 8000 to 10000 connections holding as ESTABLISHED.
Please let me know, what may be the reason, but other members of same cluster are fuctionality fine.
