Need help troubleshooting officejet4630 printing problem

I cannot print from my officejet 4630. I encountered the problem a few days ago and I have been working tirelessly to get this up and running again. The problem first started with my desktop, and the following day I was unable to print with my laptop.
In the laptop:
I have uninstalled and re-installed, I have downloaded print dr. and documents seemed to print sporadically, a half hour after I sent them to the queue.
in the desktop:
I have uninstalled, and I am unable to reinstall. It seems to get stuck at the network check. Ok, so I unplugged my router to see if connectivity was the problem. It's fine. I was able to get signal back to my desktop and my printer quickly. The signal is strong in both devices at all times (mine is the only computer in the house). So what the heck is going on? I've troubleshooted and I arriving at no clear answer. I'm reaching the end of my rope trying to figure this out, please help asap.

I would like to work with you today with resolving the network communication and printing issues you're experiencing with your HP Officejet 4630 e-All-in-One Printer. I understand that this issue is affecting both your laptop and your desktop. You have also ran the Print and Scan Doctor tools, uninstalled and reinstalled, and powercycled your router to no avail. It is important to note that even though your signal strength for your network is great there is still a chance that your router could be blocking some communication to a printer.
Just so you are aware, when you network a printer there really is no grey area, the printer either works or it doesn't. If the printer doesn't work at all on a network than you may have a defective network card. However, if the printer connects to the network, even if it's an intermittent connection (slow printing, no communication, etc . . . ), it proves that the network card is functioning. Sometimes routers deem the printer as a threat trying to access the network and end up blocking some or all features of the printers network communication. This isn't something that is wrong with the router, it's just doing its job too well.
Now with that being said, I'm going to take you through some troubleshooting steps to get this product up and running consistently for you. Please run through the step-by-step troubleshooting steps below.
Step 1: Powercycle the Network:
I know you have already tried this, but there is a special way this should be done. If you haven't already please run the steps below.
1.First, unplug the power cable to your Router
2.Once your Router is unplugged, turn off your printer
3.Next, shut down your computer
4.After 30 seconds to 1 minutes, plug your Router back in
5.Next, turn on your printer
6.Turn on the computer
After a few moments the internet connection will reestablish itself. Check the internet on your computer and ensure it is working before proceeding.
Step 2: Reset the Winsock:
Please run the following steps on your Desktop computer.

Should the steps in this document fail to resolve your issue than proceed to the next step.
Step 4: Open Router Ports:
There are certain ports on a router that allow wireless communication with the printer for printing and scanning. If you're not sure how to open these ports yourself, please contact the manufacturer of your router to do this for you.
Open: Incoming (UDP) Ports:
137, 138, 161, 427
Open: Outgoing (TCP) Ports:
137, 139, 427, 9100, 9220, 9500
Also, on the router ensure that:
Mac Filtering should be OFF
Firmware updated
Firewall may need to be 'off' for testing

Need help troubleshooting WRT54G internet problem

Recently in order to reconfigure my linksys router WRT54GL, i had to do a factory reset because of password problems. Then i logged in and set it to PPPoE (as usual), and ever since the internet has been completely erratic. I have this far used only the browser and i get the following symptoms:
When i open a new browser session, some pages load, but after, when i load a 3rd completely new page/site it won't load. I might try in that same browser to try another site and it may or may not work.
I have noticed that when i leave it alone and come back after 10 minutes or so and open a new browser session any site that didn't work in the previous session will work, as long as it is one of the 1st sites i load in the newer browser session. edit: actually there are now some sites that worked earlier and now don't even load at all!
Msn messenger appears to function properly, however.
I should point out again, that previous to that initial reset of the router, everything worked perfectly, now it's all messed up. When i plug the pc into the modem directly, it works fine.
Any ideas what could be wrong?

Looks like the problem is caused by that router, you can test by connecting the computer directly to the router, and see whether the problem persists. Also you can reset the router and configure it again, after that test again.

1. This procedure is a diagnostic test. It changes nothing, for better or worse, and therefore will not, in itself, solve the problem. But with the aid of the test results, the solution may take a few minutes, instead of hours or days.
Don't be put off merely by the seeming complexity of these instructions. The process is much less complicated than the description. You do harder tasks with the computer all the time.
2. If you don't already have a current backup, back up all data before doing anything else. The backup is necessary on general principle, not because of anything in the test procedure. Backup is always a must, and when you're having any kind of trouble with the computer, you may be at higher than usual risk of losing data, whether you follow these instructions or not.
There are ways to back up a computer that isn't fully functional. Ask if you need guidance.
3. Below are instructions to run a UNIX shell script, a type of program. All it does is to collect information about the state of the computer. That information goes nowhere unless you choose to share it. However, you should be cautious about running any kind of program (not just a shell script) at the behest of a stranger. If you have doubts, search this site for other discussions in which this procedure has been followed without any report of ill effects. If you can't satisfy yourself that the instructions are safe, don't follow them. Ask for other options.
Here's a summary of what you need to do, if you choose to proceed:
Copy a line of text in this window to the Clipboard.
Paste into the window of another application.
Wait for the test to run. It usually takes a few minutes.
Paste the results, which will have been copied automatically, back into a reply on this page.
The sequence is: copy, paste, wait, paste again. You don't need to copy a second time. Details follow.
4. You may have started the computer in "safe" mode. Preferably, these steps should be taken in “normal” mode, under the conditions in which the problem is reproduced. If the system is now in safe mode and works well enough in normal mode to run the test, restart as usual. If you can only test in safe mode, do that.
5. If you have more than one user, and the one affected by the problem is not an administrator, then please run the test twice: once while logged in as the affected user, and once as an administrator. The results may be different. The user that is created automatically on a new computer when you start it for the first time is an administrator. If you can't log in as an administrator, test as the affected user. Most personal Macs have only one user, and in that case this section doesn’t apply. Don't log in as root.

Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Terminal in the icon grid.
Click anywhere in the Terminal window and paste by pressing command-V. The text you pasted should vanish immediately. If it doesn't, press the return key.
8. If you see an error message in the Terminal window such as "syntax error," enter
exec bash
and press return. Then paste the script again.
9. If you're logged in as an administrator, you'll be prompted for your login password. Nothing will be displayed when you type it. You will not see the usual dots in place of typed characters. Make sure caps lock is off. Type carefully and then press return. You may get a one-time warning to be careful. If you make three failed attempts to enter the password, the test will run anyway, but it will produce less information. In most cases, the difference is not important. If you don't know the password, or if you prefer not to enter it, press the key combination control-C or just press return three times at the password prompt. Again, the script will still run.
If you're not logged in as an administrator, you won't be prompted for a password. The test will still run. It just won't do anything that requires administrator privileges.
10. The test may take a few minutes to run, depending on how many files you have and the speed of the computer. A computer that's abnormally slow may take longer to run the test. While it's running, there will be nothing in the Terminal window and no indication of progress. Wait for the line
[Process completed]
to appear. If you don't see it within half an hour or so, the test probably won't complete in a reasonable time. In that case, close the Terminal window and report the results. No harm will be done.
11. When the test is complete, quit Terminal. The results will have been copied to the Clipboard automatically. They are not shown in the Terminal window. Please don't copy anything from there. All you have to do is start a reply to this comment and then paste by pressing command-V again.
At the top of the results, there will be a line that begins with the words "Start Time." If you don't see that, but instead see a mass of gibberish, you didn't wait for the "Process completed" message to appear in the Terminal window. Please wait for it and try again.
If any private information, such as your name or email address, appears in the results, anonymize it before posting. Usually that won't be necessary.
12. When you post the results, you might see the message, "You have included content in your post that is not permitted." It means that the forum software has misidentified something in the post as a violation of the rules. If that happens, please post the test results on Pastebin, then post a link here to the page you created.

Go up to the top of your screen on iTunes and click on 'Store'. Then go down to 'Authorize This Computer'. That should cover part of it unless you've already authorized a bunch of other computers to use your account. If that's the case, you'll have to go to one of those computers and click the button just below it to 'deauthorize your account' from that computer. If you're not able to access the store, check your internet connection to make sure you are connected. Hope this helps.. good luck!

I've 2 Schemas called
1. MAXIMO and DBLink is GQMFOF
2. GQMMGR adn DBLink is MAXFOFNC
Now i would likw to retrive the data from both the schemas,
i.e some columns from WORKORDER table of maximo schema and some columns from ESTIMATE_HEADER table
of GQMMGR schema..
I'm trying to get the data using DB links, but it is giving TABLE/VIEW doesn't exist.
Please help me on this.

If you are using Windows Vista go to All Programs/Palm and click on the folder and select Hot Sync Manager and then try to sync with the USB cable. If you are using the Windows XP go to Start/Programs/Palm/Hot Sync Manager and then try to sync. If you don’t have the palm folder at all on your PC you have to install it. Need Help Troubleshooting Copy Function

When I try to copy a page using the flatbed scanner, the printer will scan the page and act like it's going to perform the copy. However, after about 20 seconds, the printer spits out a blank page and on the touchscreen, it says "Printing canceled." (I did NOT touch anything on the printer to cancel the Copy request.) After that, the printer never recovers, i.e. it hangs on the "printing canceled" message. I end up powering the printer off, waiting a few seconds, powering it back on, and trying to copy the page again. Thankfully, the copy function performs as expected, no problem.
This process occurs every time I try to copy something, and I think it's silly to believe that I need to power my printer off then turn it back on every time I want to copy something. My settings are very simple: Make one copy, 1-to-1 sided, black ink.
Any help in trying to figure out why my printer does this, or how to make it work properly on the first attempt, would be appreciated.

Welcome to the HP Forums.
I see that you are having some copy issues.
I have seen this issue in the past and I was able to get it resolved by doing one simple step.
Please make sure that you have the printer power cable connected directly to a wall outlet and not a power bar/strip. Here is a document that uses a LaserJet printer as an example but it is meant for HP products in general. Please click on the following link that explains the Issues when Connected to an Uninterruptible Power Supply/Power Strip/Surge Protector.
Once the printer is powered back on, use the on/off button to do a proper power cycle. This will do a semi power reset on the printer.
Try another copy and let me know if you still have issues or if you have any other questions, feel free to ask.

Need help to find printer setup utility

I recently bought my first Mac and have slowly been adding to it over the last couple of weeks. Today I added a new printer that I wish to connect wirelessly. The printer is a Brother MFC-3360. I installed the software that came with the printer and had the printer connected directly to the Mac Book. It printed just fine.
I then disconnected the USB cable and plugged it into the Extreme Base station. It failed to print. According to the Extreme manual, I need to open printer setup utility, located in the utilities folder in the applications folder. Then from there I need to add the printer.
The problem is, I have no printer setup utility. Is there another place where it might be located?
Any other ideas will be much appreciated. Thank you!

Found problem. Went to Sys prefs -> Printers and Fax -> removed my printer and re-installed. Works like a charm.

Need help with duplicate print jobs over network that I can't cancel

I have the Photosmart Premium All-in-One on my home network. My kids who each have laptop running Windows 7 and are connected via wireless to the printer via a DLINK DIR-655.
They hit the print button too many times and it keeps printing over and over again.
Is there a way to get the printer to stop printing these duplicates. I tried turning off/on but they just keep printing.
We're wasting paper/ink and I need help with a solution.

There should be a button with a red 'X' on it on the front of the printer. This is the print cancel button.

I need help trying to print ,move and resize multiple images on a page to print!help!

can anyone give me to some advice. I was using an older version of photoshop elements where i could position the image i wanted to print on the page. I could resize it, move it around and add more photo's. I print small images that I cut out for jewelry making and need to be able to add 12 small images to a 4x6 print size page. My new elements is not allowing me to do that! I'm frustrated and need help!! thanks!

It should work just the same as before: create a blank document, place your images on it, then print it. The only difference is that you can't change the position of the image in the print window anymore.

My first guess is you're simply generating an error. You'll always want to load this on your device in quick debugging over USB so you can see any errors you're generating.
Outside that, if you plan on accessing anything inside the SWF you should be loading the SWF into the correct context. Relevant sample code:

If you're doing this on iOS you'll need to stripped SWFs if you plan on using any coding (ABC) inside the files. You mentioned iOS so I won't get into that here, but just incase, here's info on stripping external SWFs:
