Need help updating an old driv

I need to update my sound driver for a Dell desktop that's a couple years old. When I tried to check into the correct download I was directed to a page that said there weren't any updates for my driver. I know this is not correct.
I currently have SB Li've 5. version 5.2..24, and the date on it is 8/30/2002. Creative Labs suggested I should have 5.2..203 and if I didn't that I should follow the support link SBL5DL_DRVPack_LBSBL5DL_PCPatch_LB.exe.
and then click "Download Now" button.
When I did that is when I got the "no update" message rather than the correct download.
I know there must be an update. Could anyone tell me which one I need and where exactly I can find it's Your help would be greatly appreciated.

It is Not available as a download... It is a Paid Upgrade.

I need help finding an old library that it states my ipod is already linked to. My computer recently had a terrible virus and needed to be wiped clean. I had to redownload itunes and I bought several songs. I want to add them to my old library because I had several cd's that I had uploaded. Is there a way to find that old library and combine them without having to erase all the songs that are currently on my ipod??? Thanks

Umm. If you wiped the hard drive, then all old libraries are gone unless you have them on backup.

First you need to research all the problems people are having with the higher OSX versions, & make sure you have a bootable clone of what you have just in case.
then you must get 10.6 if they still have it, install it & update to 10.6.8 so you have the App Store to buy & download the huge 10.8 Installer.

You cannot do that. The AppleID you used to create the iCloud account is an active primary email address. The email address you created with the iCloud account is also an active primary email address (all Apple domain email address automatically become AppleIDs as well). You cannot replace the primary email address on one active AppleID with the primary email address on another, active AppleID.
You can use your iCloud email/AppleID with iTunes, but it will be a separate account, so all your previous purchases remain tied to the other AppleID you have.
I don't understand your statement that you could not remeber your old AppleID password, as you would have had to use it to create the iCloud account in the first place (the first step of creating the iCloud account required you to login with your existing AppleID and password)?

Of note there is a new AMD Catalyst Omega driver released earlier in the week that brings 5K resolution to AMD graphics cards. Here is the link (support.ad.com/en-us/download) to the AMD site. But none of these work with my iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, Late 2014), Windows 8 bootcamp.

I have a macbook that needs a new hard drive and need help knowing what hard drives to buy that will be compatible with it. It is a macbook pro 17inch model no: A1297.

Any 2.5" diameter, 9.5mm thick SATA drive will be compatible. Currently they come up to 1.5 TB in capacity. I have a 1 TB Seagate SSHD (hybrid) drive installed in my primary MBP. The cost is a modest premium over a conventional HDD of the same capacity. Boot and shutdown times are significantly faster when compared to a conventional HDD, I can recommend this as an option.
If the bank account permits, an SSD will produce the overall maximum performance gains. Boot, shutdown and resource hungry applications will be noticeably faster. Casualyll use such as e-mails and text editing will produce no meaningful performance differences compared to a conventional HDD.
I am of the opinion that the cost premium is still too high for the benefits that they afford. Other have different views.

There is also a list of 3 O.S updates, released in 2014/09/05, 391.5MB's, 394.3MB's, and 391.5MB's large, what are those updates, I clicked the model and followed the directions that the acer website asks, and i ended with a list of update released in 2014/09/05, and a Document update released in 2014/12/17, 112.7KB's large, list of updates reased in 2014/.... and in the Android 4.0 culumn, there is an update that says O.S update released in 2014/09/05, 434.2MB's large, and a Patch Update, that was released in 2013/03/21, what are these updates? listedin the aver website... http://www.acer.ca/ac/en/CA/content/drivers

Need help installing my graphics driver in windows vista via boot camp

New to mac so first time on forum as well.
Love the Mac but i also want to get on some old games. C&C The First Decade mainly.
I am currently using below.
Mac mini Mid 2011 processor 2.5 GHz Intel Core it
Memory 4 GB 1333 Mhz DDR3
Graphics AMD Radeon HD 6630M 256 MB
Software Mac OS X Lion 10.7.5
Installing windows vista home premium 32 bit
I have installed windows vista home premium using boot camp assistant and downloaded the windows drivers as well. After i have installed windows i installed boot camp using my Mac OS X snow leopard which installed boot camp 3 or 3.1 i believe and i eventually got apple updates for 3.2 which is what i am now runnning on vista. I had trouble getting my sound to play through my speakers at first but eventually got them working and now it is my graphics driver that i cannot seem to get working. In vista(I also downloaded service pack 1 and 2) when i go to control panel and check out my device control it shows a yellow exclamation point next to the adapter. I guess i need help in getting my graphics installed correctly on my windows. Is there something i should take off to install the correct driver? Or do i just need the correct driver download? If i have the correct driver how do i upload it onto my windows side in the device control.
When i try to run c&c generals/zero hour i get a directx 8.1 error, red alert 2 is black but i can hear. i know these games can work i installed the graphics correctly the first time when i did not have sound as this is my second time installing windows so the game did load when i did not have sound.
Advise?
I was thinking about saying forget this i can't waste hours of my time anymore but i have to be close to getting everything working if i had graphics before and no sound but sound this time and no graphics. I was also thinking about just buying windows 7 home premium sp1 64bit system builder dvd off amazon and reinstalling windows using windows 7 but i want to make sure i can play these games before i spend the money. I thought my mini couldn't support windows vista and if it did only boot camp 4? how am i getting this far to get things to work?
What is the driver i need to install to get these games working? What do I need to do or what am I missing???
Do i need to install a different boot camp off apple and find a driver that will get mine to work in vista?
Any and all responses will be greatly appreciated i have been at this everyday for hours.

Also is there something, say maybe a driver, that was installed i do not need that is blocking me from installing the correct drivers? What driver in my boot camp folder do i need to install to get to the correct display to run those games.

Need help updating OS 10.2.1

I need to update my system software to 10.2.8. I have dial-up which is extremely slow, so I thought I'd update in parts rather than using the combo update. I had no trouble getting from 10.2.0 to 10.2.1. I've downloaded the 10.2.2 update three times. It seems to be working fine until I open the update icon. It says "The operation could not be completed. An unexpected error occurred (error code 1000)". I can't find anywhere what kind of error this is. I have an old imac. I didn't think that would matter since I'm already in 10.2.1. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The 10.2.8 Combo Update is 97 MB, the sum of all interim updates is more than 136 MB. Furthermore I saw, that the 10.2.5 Update is not online anymore. Use a download utility such as SpeedDownload or iGetter to download the 10.2.8 Combo update. With these you can interrupt, pause and resume any download.
Also, do not forget to Repair permissions before and after an update!
