Need help viewing items in Lion Finder folder.

Hello! I just recently migrated to a Mac with Lion and have a question regarding viewing files in the Finder window. I currently like sorting my folders using "Kind" then sorting by "Name", which works great for me except one problem. How do you have the Finder window "Show All" by default instead of having to click on the "Show All" everytime? See my example folder in the pic.
Any help for a Mac noob would be greatly appreciated! Thank You in advance!

Adobe removed the previous choice in preferences, without asking customers.
Many of us who used earlier versions don’t like it.
If you feel the product is not what you reasonably expected, request a full refund or ask your credit card company for a refund and chargeback.

- in a chosen story;
- on some chosen page in every text frames, looking from its top to the bottom;
- in a entire document, looking from its beginning to the end, including hidden layers, master pages, footnotes etc...?

You could set app.findTextPreferences.appliedParagraphStyle to your "Style".
Story.findText() gives an array of matches. 1st array's element is a 1st occurence.
so:
Story.findText()[0].appliedParagraphStyle = Style_1;

How to store/view items in a server folder

I have been searching for a way to store/view items in a folder on my sharepoint server. Basically at work we have sharepoint setup and one of the pages shows documents that reside in a folder on the sharepoint server. If I add a file to that
folder and refresh the web page it will show up in sharepoint. That is what I am trying to accomplish in my personal sharepoint installation. I have a folder...(let's call it C:\Media) which contains some small home videos. I simply want
to point sharepoint to that folder and display it's contents for use. As it stands now it appears the files are stored in a database because I am unable to track them down. I have searched for a solution online to no avail and obviously it is possible
because it is functions perfectly on my company's sharepoint.

SharePoint stores all files in the Content Database, or Remote Blob Storage (but RBS is less common). You must use SharePoint APIs in order to access files in the Content Database or RBS (accessing them directly places your database in an unsupported state).
What your company may be doing is using a Content Viewer Web Part to display the location of a file share within a SharePoint page. This isn't a very flexible solution, so there are 3rd parties that have filled this space, proxy'ing requests between SharePoint
and a back end file share, e.g. http://www.avepoint.com/sharepoint-connector-docave/.

It sounds like your iPad is not showing in Find my iPad when you check it. Take a look at this info from the following article named:

Need help displaying item based on pl/sql anonymous block

This is probably something really simple but I'm stuck.....
On purchase order, I want to show related parent project name and ID. What is the best way to do it? I have created a region based on pl/sql anonymous block, and that works, but the data is above where I want it. I want the project name and ID to show up in the region w/ all the other fields.
I have created an item in the region that has other form fields, item is based on pl/sql anonymous block, w/ same code as above region, and the item doesn't find the data. What's the difference? Is it because the item doesn't save state? In order to choose for the item to be based on pl/sql anon block, APEX made me choose Display as Text (based on PLSQL, does not save state).

Need help viewing SWF on my site

I'm using DW 8, Cute FTP Pro & GoDaddy.
My first attempt at uploading and properly viewing a SWF file
has resulted in a problem that I can't seem to figure out.
Since I'm new at this, I think that it is a matter of a
missed setting and/or improper or missing code.
The Page and SWF Play properly in the Design view of my DW 8
program however, the SWF Plays Full Screen on the website.
That is, when I enter the page on the site, the page comes up
properly, I press Enter to 'Activate' the Flash control, click the
'Play' button (I have to make 2 Single Clicks), the SWF loads, the
page disappears and then the SWF plays Full screen.
What I'm trying to figure out is how I can make it so that
the SWF plays within the page and not jump into a Full Screen mode.

download the 8.1 DW updater which will contain the code to
get around the
security issue with Flash. Once you have the update
installed, open the page
in DW and it will update the code. Then reload the page to
the server, along
with the scripts folder it will create.

Need help with error on Lion Server (kernel: add_fsevent: unable to get path for vp ..)

I have had some Xsan issues and one of my volumes kept failing. I did a complete hard reboot of the entire system after trying all the cvfsck options. Now the volume seems to be ok but I am now getting the following errors and can not figure out what they are. Any help to a new Admin would be greatly appreciated.

Turns out there were disk issues that I repaired by rebooting into Lion Recovery Mode (restart, hold Command-R during startup) and running Disk Utility. Disk Utility reported:
Volume bitmap needs minor repair for orphaned blocks
Invalid volume free block count
It fixed both problems and the drive then verified clean.
While I was there, I also repaired permissions, though I doubt that the permission oddities were the cause of the errors.
After rebooting into normal Lion, two things happend:
Time Machine quite happily went back to work and took a backup, no issue. Several hourlies have run since then, no problems.
Spotlight did some re-indexing. This caused some hangs (spinning beachballs) at first, but it self-cleared. It definitely didn't last long enough to re-index the entire drive; I'm guessing that it needed to re-index some of the repaired sections.
So far as I know, no files were corrupted -- but the drive is about 80% free space, so odds are that the orphaned blocks were not in a critical area.

Need Help viewing videos

I purchased some music videos and TV shows from iTunes Music Store. At first no problem. Played great.
I connected my iPod to someone elses computer who had iTunes 4 (not video capable).
Ever since I have not been able to view my music videos or TV shows.
I tried connecting my iPod to another computer that did have a more updated version of iTunes (iTunes 6), but couldn't find how I would do anything to remedy this situation.
In iTunes the info summary tells me that they are MPEG 4 video files, yet they still don't not play as a video. I am able to hear but there is no video.
Also these titles don't show in the 'Videos' menu in my iPod. They are listed as 'Songs'. When i first purchased them they were listed in the 'Videos' menu, but ever since I connected my iPod to the computer with iTunes 4 they are not.
I have already made sure the Video Setting / TV Out is set to "OFF" or "ASK"...still doesn't work.
Any ideas??? Please HELP!!!!!

I just started having this same problem. I press play to play a movie and it will say loading but the movie never loads and will even go back to the list of movies. All of my movies do this now. I am getting to the movies through videos then movies. How can this problem be fixed? Would resetting my Ipod fix it? I would like to solve this problem without resetting but am close to attempting resetting my Ipod. Please can anyone help with this problem?

Need Help viewing Podcast with Quicktime

I'm having difficulty viewing my podcast movies in quicktime 7.1.5 When I start watching a podcast movie (the Russell Brown photoshop lessons) , it will suddenly change to white/yellow. As soon as I move my mouse, it will become normal again. If I keep moving my mouse constantly, it won't morph into the white/yellow visual. Your help would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks!

If it won't work natively, that is in QT alone, and needs the browser for proper functionality I would have a look around to see what codecs you have installed. I would also be curious as to what was used to make the podcasts you are watching, there might be some incompatibility issues. Also, you say things are great when you are using your mouse, perhaps this forces the system to focus it's resources on the Quicktime player. IM me if I can be of help

The first problem is because your "for" loop has no "while" condition in it:
for(Node p = head.next; ; p = p.next)...
Therefor, the only way out of the loop is via break, return, or exception. In your case, you don't "break" out of the loop, so there's no way it can get to this statement.
The second problem, you didn't cover all cases to set "p", so it won't let you return an un-initialized value.

Need help with roaming user profiles, home folder on server - symptoms after Windows reinstall on workstation

Hello. I have deployed roaming user profiles in our home office. We are using Windows Server 2012 on our datacenter computer, which has a partition with all our home directories. All was working beautifully for quite some time.
I re-installed Windows 8.1 Pro on my laptop. I am able to log in to my profile from the new installation.
The problem that has started happening seems to be some sort of permission problem with my home directory, but I am not sure how to go about diagnosing it. I haven't changed anything in the policies or remote profiles.
The symptoms:
When I try to run an installation program from my documents/downloads/desktop (remote) folders, UAC asks for the administrative credentials as expected, and then I am asked to enter my user credentials. If I do so, I sometimes get a message about duplicate
connections to a share, and the installation program does not execute. "Multiple connections to a server or shared resource by the same user, using more than one user name, are not allowed. Disconnect all previous connections to the server or
shared resource and try again." I am confused, because I am entering credentials for the same user name as the one I am logged in with.
To work around, I have to copy the executable to a folder on my workstation hard drive and run it from there.
Another symptom is when I download anything from the internet, chrome will reflect a "Failed - Download error" message with the download. If I re-attempt the same download several times, eventually it will succeed. This appears to be due to my
downloads folder being on the remote computer.
I am looking for any guidance on how to remedy these symptoms. I suspect there must be a setting I have forgotten to change in the local computer, because nothing has changed on the server since it was operating properly.
