Need help with a form created with Dreamweaver CS5...

How can I make a text field automatically jump to the next field when text is inputted? I've created a credit card payment form for a client and want to know how to make the cursor jump to the next available text field when the customer has input text. Hope this makes sense.

Need help with illustrator cs5

Hi everyone.....first time on a forum and hope someone can help. I am using illustrator cs5 on OSx snow leapard. I am designing wings, following a demo and when I get to the part where I am supposed to use the reflect tool, I come to grief. Firstly the reflect tool dialogue box has two windows in the options part.....patterns or objects. I am supposed to be able to uncheck these but they are greyed out and not changeable. Secondly when I try to reflect my wing, using the option key to copy as well, the program appears to turn my wing over and give me a view of what would be the back of the wing, not a reflection. My fella and I have spent some considerable time trying to figure out what the issue is but to no avail...........Hope someone can help ..........Josephine Star.

why won't my reflect tool operate properly.....we have just spent another hour trying to sort it out.
Is your Reflect Tool not operating as shown in Illustrator's instructions (online Help)? If not, how is it behaving differently?
Have you looked at the instructions? If not, do you not think that spending over an hour while typing posts in an online forum, waiting for answers (which are as often incorrect as correct) for every little question you may have about Illustrator is a much less time-efficient way to learn the program than reading the provided documentation?

"A view of what would be the back" (i.e.; a mirror image) is what Reflect means in the context of Illustrator's Reflect tool. What did you expect different?
Clicking with the Reflect Tool while holding alt/opt(Windows/Mac) sets the center of transformation where you click and invokes the dialog. So, for example, if the object is bilaterally symetrical about its vertical axis (like an upward-pointing triangle), and you altClick its center and then click OK in the resulting dialog, there will be no difference, because the mirror image of such a triangle reflected across a vertical axis would be identical.
Unless it changed in CS5 (don't have it loaded on this laptop)--which I doubt, clicking Copy instead of OK in the dialog is what makes a reflected copy; not holding the alt/opt key.
If you...
1. Mousedown with the Reflect Tool
2. Press and hold Alt
3. Drag
...then you will reflect the object about the position where you mousedown, interactively (without invoking the dialog). While doing so, if you also add the Shift key before mouseup, the reflection will be a copy.

I need help with Dreamweaver.

I had purchased Dreamweaver CS5-5 version 11.5 last year for my Mac X 10.8.3. Working on several web pages did just fine. I did not use Dreamweaver for the last 4 months. I do pro bono for four sites and they had not given me changes until yesterday - 05/07/13. So I opened Dreanweaver and loaded what I thought was the current pages to the web site I wanted to work on. Surprise!!! What uploaded on Weaver was old pages of the same site I did several years ago. The current pages were not there. They are current on the internet.
I have chased all over Adobe, the internet, reloaded Dreamweaver, tried to download from the internet the current pages through FTP to no avail. I find it extremely difficult to find someone at Adobe - a real person in the USA that speaks English - to help me out. I was shoved from one place to another. I finally got a real person in the last hour but he was from India. He wanted to take control of my computer. This was not to be done. I had PC's for 20 years. A Phillipino took over my PC in 2011 to correct some problems and froze my hard drive. The computer was trash after that. This is why I have a Mac.
All I want to do is to make some changes to the current web sites I am the web master for. I spent over $300.00 for Dreamweaver and it should not be doing this.
Any help would be appreciated.

I am at a point that I thinking about dropping Dreamweaver. I feel that I should not go through all this.
I do not understand Dreamweaver as much as you do. Being that now I do not work with it frequently.
I just know it was simpler before.
On first using Dreamweaver I just downloaded it from the CD and went about my business. As stated this was up until four months ago.
For the amount paid for this software I should not have all of these problems. I should have bee able to do my work as before.
I am the type that needs everything written to understand what to do. In college I took tech writing. That taught me to explain everything in detail.
A lot of the software instructions could be better written. Just a rant on my part. (I find this in many assembly instructions)
I have not done your latest yet. I will try if I can understand what you suggest.
At this time I really don't want to do anything.

Need Help with Dreamweave MX!

Hello all!
I'm an artist and I'm putting my new website together but I'm
stuck on something. I have 3 order forms that are all .doc files.
How do I make a link in Dreamweaver so when the person clicks on
the link... they download those forms? I did it once but it was a
long time ago and I forgot how. Don't talk to me like I'm some kind
of HTML expert. ;) I suck with HTML. If you can use simple easy
instructions I'd appreciate it. :) I'm not very experienced with
Dreamweaver.

Need Help With Dreamweaver Divs

This is a clip of my website that I am making, it is not online yet.
But what I need help is with the divs, as you can see the div with the blue text is overlapping a fireworks html banner I made.
Any way I can fix this so that the fireworks banner goes over the div instead of the other way around?

Need help with Dreamweaver Spry Tooltips.

Hello, all. First off I gotta say that I am new to this so PLEASE go easy on me here.
Okay, I created some Spry tootips on an image in Dream weaver. Everything worked well in the live view, everything came out as I hoped. But when I uploaded everything the tooltips are on the screen but don't pop up the way(s) they are supposed to. I did not create the site in Dreamwever, I simply created the image map in Fireworks, and imporetd the HTML into Dreamweaver.

As said, this is an issue caused by your blog software and although it affects a Spry widget, it is not a Spry issue.
My advice, hard code into your document and do not use TinyMCE to code the document.

Help with Dreamweaver CS5 spry menus. Menu is not dropping down in IE7.

We recently upgraded from GoLive CS3 to Dreamweaver CS5. Wow! This has been a big change for us. We are having trouble with a website that we are building, specifically the Spry Menu drop downs not appearing correctly in IE7 and older. While the dropdown menu appears in other browsers, it is not dropping down at all in IE7 and earlier versions. After researching this topic on many websites, including this forum, we are still unable to resolve our particular issue. We have tried many of the suggestions that are common to our problem, but have not found a solution as yet. Could someone please check out this page for us, and possibly give us some advise. We are working on Mac OSX. Thank you in advance for any suggestions you may offer.

When I added the following to the document

the menu items appeared albeit in the wrong position.
The reason for the hidden menu items is because #main_image had a position of relative, effectively creating a flow of its own rather than following the natural flow of the document.
Now for the postion of the submenu. If I add the following style rules to the document the submenu items are in the correct position
ul.MenuBarHorizontal li {text-align: left;}
ul.MenuBarHorizontal a {text-align: center;}
In the first line I have reset the rule that you had changed to center align and in the second line (which is not in the original CSS) I have aligned the text in the anchor tag to align center.
The reason is that IE<8 behaves differently to other browsers when it comes to list items causing the nested list items (submenu) to align themselves to the center of the text of the parent list item.
I hope the above helps.

Noob needs help with dreamweaver- problem encountered

Need help with Dreamweaver 8

We are a church who uses AltoMP3 Gold, Macromedia Dreamweaver and GoDaddy.com to upload our sermons to our website as well as offer access to Itunes subscribers. We have used this system for years now and everything has worked great except for some problems with GoDaddy last year. However, we just discovered that Itunes subscribers cannot get any of our 2014 podcasts. The sermons can be accessed from our website, just not through Itunes. As far as I know, the coding has not been changed from the original design, except for the weekly updates as to name of MP3 file, dates, etc. Can you help me figure out why the access to sermons stopped for Itunes beginning in 2014? I am not a programmer, just a volunteer with limited knowldge. Thank you

Need help with Dreamweaver and ebay

I've been using Dreamweaver MX 2004 for my ebay templates. However, my images are hosted on a third party site, and I've always been pasting
http://www.domain.com/ in front of the pictures for the img src one by one.
I have a lot of listings to do and I'd like to eliminate that step, since the source url is always identical, only the picture name is different.
I've tried creating a site, but that only seems to work if the page is located in the same directory as the images.
(It would also be nice if I could see the pictures in the design view after they have been sourced / linked, the way I'm doing it now they are gray boxes for broken links since the src is not part of a site).
Is there anything I can do about this? I'm a fairly novice user if that isn't already evident.

Wow, it doesnt show up in mine either. Thats weird.
Anyway, to be as specific as possible, so you do not replace things in your website you are not intending to, I would Find as much of the back end code as possible relating to the images you wish to change. Provided that the image namse at the end of the URL match exactly.
Example:
If your tag looks something like this..
<img src="images/randompic.jpg" />
Do a code find for the entire site for..
<img src="images/
And replace with...
<img src="http://yoursite.com/
This will replace all images on every page (as long as you do a full site, source code search) that are pulled from the images folder. So say you do want to have some images uploaded that are your own not on the website. My suggestion would be to put those images in the images folder and create a different folder name (a unique one) for the images that will eventually be pulled from your website. (like: switch, something easily recognizable and unlikely to be used elsewhere)

Need help with PS CS5 crashing while openinng specific document!

Good morning all, I am the network admin at my company, and i have a user expereicneing a strange issue. I do not know much about PS, other than how to install it, so i am at a loss to troublshoot this issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Background: Computer is a Dell Precision 690 with 4GB RAM, running windows 7 pro x64 with SP1 (this was happening before SP1 was applied as well). Video card is nVidia Quadro NVS 285 . I have fully updated and patched everything i can find, including using the most up to date, and "performance" drivers from nVidia (neither driver solved the problem) for the video card. I could not find a partner certified driver for this partticular card. The software is Photoshop CS5 version Version: 12.0.3 (12.0.3x20101211 [20101211.r.1222 2010/12/11:02:00:00 cutoff; r branch]) x64.
I have another user, with the exact same computer, and exact same software (they were made form the same image) whom does not have this problem.
The issue: Basically, when opening this one particular image (from the users desktop) PS crashes and throws up the following error. Sometimes it will actually display the image, then crash as soon as you try to even so much as click anywhere on the image. Other times it conks out before the image is even displayed.

My user says there is nothing fancy or odd about this image, and the filesize wasn't any bigger than anything else he works on. What really baffles me is that the other user with the same setup has no issue... Thanks in advance!

Since CoolType is implicated, it seems likely that user has installed a font that throws Photoshop for a loop. The recourse in that case is to try to figure out which one it is and remove it from the system (and/or reinstall an un-corrupted copy of that font).
Some tricks to try to figure out which font it is:
1. Look in the document that's failing to open with the other user's copy of Photoshop. See what fonts are there.
2. Create a new document on the offending machine, invoke the Horizontal Type Tool, then open the font list. You might find the list stops abruptly before the offending font.
3. Remove all fonts except the Windows standard ones, see if the problem goes away, then add them back piecemeal until the problem recurs.
If the above doesn't get you success, another thing to think about when a problem is user-specific:   You might reset their Photoshop preferences to out-of-box defaults. To do that you press and hold Control-Shift-Alt immediately after starting Photoshop from its menu entry or shortcut. You have to be very quick, and if you do get its attention it will prompt and ask whether the preferences should be reset. Keep in mind some Photoshop reconfiguration will need to happen after you do this, so it's not something to do lightly or you might get your users upset at you.

Help with Dreamweaver CS5 spry menus. Submenus are not showing.

I am working on a new website, and added 2 vertical spry menus to the page (left hand side under SEARCH). All of my submenus were working properly except for the fact that I couldn't see the entire list once it dropped down past the container window. I tried adding "overflow: visible" to the ul.MenuBarVertical ul AND ul.MenuBarVertical ul li and all of my submenus disappeared. Both spry menus were saved with different names. I tried UNDO multiple times, but they are still not working. HELP! I really don't want to have to go back and re-create these 2 menus.

P.S. I am Mac based and have only viewed my site on Safari, so I'm not sure how this looks on IE or any other browsers.

I looked at your linked site from a PC on Chrome 12, Firefox 4 and IE9. Your menus show albeit that they sometimes overlap a little in an unpleasant (but workable) way. I have not checked with Safari, need to get an updated copy.
So the problem does not show up in the browser.
Is the problem with Contribute?
PS: You submenus show out horizontally, not vertically - is that what you intended?

I have the wireframe built but can't figure out how to use my PS design and transfer those images and fonts to the wire frame can anyone help??Or send me the code for a wrapper 960 768px header 50px nav bar50px sidebar 550px and content 810/610px and footer 50px with an <ul> menu and <li> home contemperay classics audio contact us buttons only 2 home and contact us are live properties <h1> <h2> <p1>if I could just get that it would be perfect world.

I need help with my CS5 installation

My CS5 installed normally as usual, but once it was done it was telling me that there was an error in installing, told me to restart and proceed with the installation again.
I did it twice, and now it seems to work but it gave me the same error.
I opened the program and it's telling me that,"Photoshop has encountered a problem with the display driver, and has temporarily disabled the GPU enhancements. Check the video card manufacturer's website for the latest software."
I did an update search on my computer for that specific driver and apparently it's up to date. I also read on a forum that I needed to download Adobe Driver. But, unfortunately it's saying the same thing that CS5 said after the installation, to restart and continue with the installation.
Help?

if you're encountering multiple different error messages,
1. uninstall cs5,
2. run the cleaner,
3. update your video driver (go to your video card's manufacturer website),
4. restart your computer (http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html) and then
5. reinstall cs5.
