Looking for APPS&Software to download BBInternet Server,RIM BBSLA for the latest version of UPGRADES! My BB8530 Lost my original BBEnterprise Server when I did the upgrades , Now have no INTERNET BROWSER!!!! HELP PLEASE!Need my WEB BROWSER BACK! Everything was working GREAT before I did the UPGRADES SPRINT&BLACKBERRY kept texting & emailing me to do!! Wish I had not done them,now! How do I go back to original?Can't tell anything got better,just messed up my Browser!!!!HELP !

Firstly, this is a self-help forum for ordinary BB owners to find and provide answers. We aint paid AND WE DONT EXPECT TO BE SHOUTED AT

Need help with updating Name Server update for home webserver

I set up a webserver at home to run my own domain/website. I am able to type my IP address into Safari/IE and get to my website fine. I now need to update the NameServer with the previous domain hosting service, but I have no idea how to find out the NameServer (Compast is my ISP) to put into the UPDATE NAME SERVERS form for the previous hosting company. I need to obviosly do this before people who type in my web address can be directed to my home server instead of the old hsoting company. The previous hosting server is ns.teammediaonline and ns1.teammediaonline.com. Do I use something like ns.comcast.net or something? I already have the IP address and know it works fine. Comcast does notchange the IP's too often and I will not have much traffic to my site, so I should not have any issues with them. I am sure this is a very simple issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You definitely do not want to contact Comcast. Servers are forbidden to their residential customers. If you contacted them, not only would they refuse to help, that might put you on a list to watch in case you do set one up. Now, if you're careful, don't server out a lot of traffic, and aren't a general nuisance to the people on your node, they most likely won't notice if you don't contact them.
However, you'll need to look into a different DNS solution. Do a search for "Dynamic DNS" and you'll find a number of services that will be able to help you out. This one, DynDNS, has some reading material that might help to explain what you need to do...

Need help with IPhone 4S and upgrade for IOS 7

I upgraded my phone last night to IOS 7.0.2 and this morning I went through all the initial set up questions and my phone was working. Once I walked away and it turned off, it is asking me for a passcode to get back into my phone. I did NOT have a passcode before I upgraded do not know what passcode it would be asking me to enter. I have tried a couple different passcodes and nothing is working now my phones says it is "DISABLED". Can anyone help?

The upgrade to iOS 7.0 automatically turns on Passcode Lock....whether you want it or not. You probably don't remember the passcode you entered when prompted, but regardless, one was setup on the phone. To fix, & remove the passcode, follow the directions here to force the phone into recovery mode & restore it:

I would like help with setting up time machine for backup.

You will need an external hard drive (formatted for a Mac).
Then you plug it in and go to system preferences>time machine and select the external HD and turn it on.
The backups are automatic.

I need help with finding right stylus pen for lenovo yoga 2 pro!

I did read other person's post, but I did not find my answer. I am currently using my fingers to write my notes and it drives me nuts! I do have a stylus pen that have huge round fabric tip. It does not write well. I want a stylus pen with pointy end so I can acturally take my notes on OneNote. I writes equations down so it is very hard to write small and neat with my hand. I do know that my laptop is touch sensitive so it only works with rubber or fabric tips! I could not find any stylus pen with those tip that are pointy.... I need help on finding pointy tipped stylus pen that will let me write well. I am ordering ati-glare screen protector because I can see myself on the screen like a mirror... lol Hopefully this will not keep me from finding a pen that works well! Please give me link to the pen, if you can! Thank you for reading!

ColonelONeill is correct.
The Yoga 2 Pro does not have a digitizer, so a capacitative stylus, which mimics a fingertip, is what you'd need.

What excactly is the usecase you are trying here? Are using your external Apache to proxy your http traffic from FMS to it or do you want to use http streaming feature of FMS?

I need help with java Time Zone Updater for Venezuela Time Zone

Hi,
I've run the latest Time Zone Updater (1.3.5) on JRE 1.4.2. It is supposed to support the time zone changes for Venezuela. The problem is that when I set my Windows time zone and run java.util.TimeZone.getDefault() it says that I am on GMT instead of GMT-04:30.
Am I doing something wrong?

I have found the solution for cases in which you cannot update your JRE to anything further than 1.5. You will have to create an extra entry in the Java tzmappings file as follows:
Venezuela Standard Time:90,90::America/Caracas:After doing this, you will have to create a new String Value in your Windows registry for the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Time Zones\Venezuela Standard Time Key as follows:
Name: MapID
Value: 90,90

New to the World Mac and I need help with the internet?

Hi All,
I've purchased a second hand eMac from a local College last summer and I've finally got around to connecting it to the internet (after 20 + years of working and using PCs). All is great or I thought???
There is a few problems that I still encountered and hopefully someone can help?
The spec of the Mac is 1 GHz PowerPC G4 (768 MB SDRAM) running Mac OS X Vers. 10.3.9.
For the internet I connect via Safari 1.3.2 (v312.6). However, I cannot access Hotmail, selected sites outside of the UK and also when I go into Facebook the interface (layout) is a mess and I can't access various options available. I tried to download Safari 4.0.4. for SnowLeopard, but it won't allow it as I don't have the Billings of Materials?
Does anyone know how I can resolve the above or point me in the correct direction.

Version 1.x of Safari is old in Internet years, and many sites using advanced coding (or non-standard coding) won't render properly. Later browser versions have more support for the non-standard HTML that for instance MS webpage programs generate as well as support for more recent authoring tools. Which is a long-winded way of saying you're on the right track, you need to update your browser.
The later versions of Safari require OS X 10.4 or later. Your eMac can be upgraded to 10.4 or 10.5, but it'll be easier to first try a free third-party browser such as Firefox or Camino or Opera (Version Tracker and MacUpdate are good links to start from when looking for software and updates).
Note: moving among different browsers on different platforms, I can confirm that it's all too common for sites to render differently, with layouts off from a little to a lot.
As for being blocked from non-UK sites and Hotmail, if that still crops up with Firefox, check to see if the school that sold you the computer had proxy servers set yp that might be blocking some sites. You can also go to Apple menu, System Preferences, show built-in Ethernet or Airport depending on which one you use, click on the Proxies tab, and see if anything is checked/active there.

So, I've been browsing the SL and Mavericks forums for the last days but although I have fetched some useful tips and answers, still need some help. Let me put it diary-style so I can be more concise ;)
Here's my current system profile:
iMac 27" (aluminium back- if I'm no wrong, from around late 2009-mid 2010)
MacOS 10.6.1 Never updated.
3.06 Ghz Intel Core2 Duo
4Gb RAM
LaCie Big Disk via FireWire 800
Internet access via Ethernet port (cable)
And here's The Issues Log:
– Day one: First ever Kernel Panic. Restart. Nothing (apparently) wrong.
– 3 weeks elapsed: Second Kernel Panic. Same. iMac restarts fine. Apps fine. No missing files. No misbehaviour experiences.
– After a month or so: One morning, Skype decides on its own to stop launching. The night before, I chatted with one of my clients, fine as always, but at the next day, nothing. Computer is usually shut off for the night. And so it was that night. Updated Skype and also did all the guest account trick / repaired permissions / repair ACLs. Nothing worked. Overwrote the Skype app with a former functioning version I have in an MacOS 10.5 system. Didn't work. Now I have to chat on the MacOS 10.5 computer. No good.
– 15 days ago or so: After realising that I no longer have my HP1515n printer (it ran out of inks and thrashed it. It costs more to refill than to buy a new one), I deleted the printer from the printers list in the System Prefs Pane.
– Last week: Acrobat (CS4) won't launch a PDF file and freezes. Spinning beach ball. Force quit and try opening the PDF file again. Freezes again. And again. And again. With that file and every other PDF.
Photoshop CS5 fails to open or crashes when attempting to open any jpg or tiff file. InDesign and Illustrator CS5 are frozen and had to force quit both. MacOS 10.5
Restart the iMac thinking it is just a "common" bad day and hoping everything will be alright after the restart, but nope.
Not only the CS5 stops working; MSOffice stops working too. Spinning beach ball. Begin to suspect of the deletion of the printer, however, I also deleted the same printer in the above mentioned 10.5 system and I'm not experiencing anything strange. Reinstalled the HP drivers but nothing remarkable happens.
Then, try to uninstall CS5, CS4, Office, etc. Try to reinstall Acrobat CS4 and the CS5 apps. Reinstall Office. Nothing. Just Outlook works.
Since I had to desperately meet deadlines, convinced a colleague to come over to the studio and -I know, I know- allowed me to install a copy of CS6. It seems to work fine, except for Acrobat, which randomly freezes/hangs/works and Photoshop, which works fine unless you want to open a layered file containing text layers or if you want to type text on a normal file, because it freezes as soon as the Text Tool is pressed in the toolbar, of course, spinning beach ball again.
Well, Illustrator CS6 sometimes shows a strange black thin frame overlaid on the interface but goes away by switching to another workspace and then back to the current. InDesign CS6 seems to be fine and making PDFs as expected. However, as I said before, it is pure luck if Acrobat accepts to open the file or even if it launches. Spinning beach ball when freezing/hanging.
As a method for eliminating possible culprits, did a clean up of the Suitcase Fusion database, removed duplicate and a few (less than 10) corrupted fonts.
Removed completely MSOffice reinstalled and updated. Nothing. Now I neither have MSoffice running.
I am no rookie but I can't even imagine what can cause such amount of misbehaviour, (kernel panics have something to do? malware? lack of system updates? MacHD is damaged?) so I'm thinking of a few scenarios:
Backing up my projects and user folder –anything else to backup? (In fact I've already done that)– and:
1. Do a clean install. Not sure if it will be best to completely erase the whole drive or if a standard reinstallation will be enough.
2. Take the machine to a Genius Bar to see if there's anything that can be done without major OS messes.
3. Erase the drive and go through the Mavericks upgrading (SL to Ln to MLn to Mavcks), although not sure if this upgrade is worth yet.
4. Replace HD for a brand new one and either step 1 or 3.
5. As a complement, I'm thinking of adding more RAM.
Well. It is really the first time I don't know what to do. I have work to do and would not want to face a week away from my main computer and since most of the files are CS5-6 and hence, can't move to my wife's iMac...
Apologies if this post feels too long, but I will truly appreciate any kind of input and advice on one of more of the issues mentioned in this post.
And if it fits best in any other forum, please also let me know.

Hello, I bought my 6263 from T-Mobile last week and I am trying to tether it to my laptop but when I do I don't get Edge network speed.It also doesn't show the E on the screen.. When I use my T-Mobile Dash I do have Edge. Can someone that has the same phone let me know what the internet settings are. I have talked to Nokia and T-mobile and no one seems to know anything about this phone. Also, I was wondering if there were supposed to be settings under the dual mode setting. Mine is blank. Thank you. Any help is appreciated.

Hi, i'm having a similar problem with my new nokia 5300. i can not get it to connect to the egprs network. What's funny is my dad has the motorola w490 and he can't connect with EDGE either. So, does T-Mobile have EGPRS? They say they do on their website. It really looks like we need the Access Point URL for the EGPRS server, like 'internet2.voicestream.com'. I, too, cannot get any help from T-Mobile, in fact the tech support dude would not even take my call about the EDGE on my phone, even went as far as too say that my phone does not have it! which was a slap in the face (nokia's manual, t-mobile's manual, the sales rep at the corporate store, their OWN website (t-mobile.com), and my education in computer science). So what's really going on? Any solutions, let me know.

Need Help with Oracleasm - a kernel module for the ASM library

I am a beginner, trying to install Oracle RAC. I have a system with SuSE Linx 11 (64 bit) loaded. I need to get the correct ASMLib packages needed for installing ASM. I think I got the following packages that are needed for installing ASM
1) oracleasmlib- the ASM libraries (oracleasmlib-2.0.4-1.SLE11.x86_64.rpm)
2) oracleasm-support- utilities needed to administer ASMLib (oracleasm-support-2.1.3-1.SLE11.x86_64.rpm)
I am unable to find the third package.
3) Oracleasm - a kernel module for the ASM library
I looked at my kernel version it says "2.6.27.19-5-default". I am not sure where I can get the above third package. If you have an answer/know ase share your thoughts.

Don't use ASMLib, it will be no longer available, it will only came in Oracle Unbreakable Kernel for Linux 6.
The easly way to set the permissions on your devices is with a /etc/init.d script that do the job.
Here is an example:

Need Help with Function Module or BAPI for Stock Requirements & PIRs

Hello,
         I am working on making changes to a Report which should be displaying the PIR (Planned Independant Requirements) Quantities as well as Stock Requirements for SOs & STOs for below Type of Materials for the Given Date.
1. Planning Materials
2. Planned SKUs (that is Materials which do not have a Planning Material attached to them).
        In the Current Logic, we are using an FM REQUIREMENTS_ALLOCATION which fetches the Requirements only for the Planning Materials. It does not work for Planned SKUs.
So, is there any Function Module / BAPI which serves this Purpose for both types of Materisls?
   Also, I've managed to Find out two Function Modules which I thought might be useful but still need confirmation regarding the same.
MD_STOCK_REQUIREMENTS_LIST_API and
BAPI_MATERIAL_MRP_LIST
        Please suggest any other FM if available for this Requirement.

Basically, here is what my scenario is. I have two Types of Materials which have a Planning Material attached to it. and the Other Category is that it doesn't have a Planning Material attached to it. So, we call it a Planned SKU. That is a Material planned at the SKU level.
          Now, the Issue is , the Function Module REQUIREMENTS_ALLOCATION doesn't work for the Plannd SKUs but it only works for the Planning Material. Now, based on this Function Module, we are populating the Data for the Planning Materials of Material Type ZPLN. Similarly, is there any we can make this FM work for a Material which is planning at its own Level.
          Please help me in this Regard.

We have the Fast Track edition installed as webserver on an NT box. We
have also loaded the Test Drive edition application server and we are
trying to verify its installation. I have the IP and port number and
then put in the /ias-samples/index.html and keep getting message Invalid
URL.
Checked for the directory existance and it is there. Does it need to be
mapped somehow?
What are we missing?

I don't know what is Fast Track edition of web server. Would you give
the
webserver name and version number (such as iWS 4.1 service pack6). It
may be the case that iAS does not support the iWS. Check if the web
server is running fine by typing only the ip address. No port number is
neccessary for NT. You can try with no port number.

Need help with Adobe Premiere Elements 9 for the Windows XP PC

Just got it today, so I could make my own video and audio files from pre-existing ones. I first used a version of Adobe Premiere back in school in the '90s, and seemed to easily make them there, while not working on school work. There was a row for inserted video, and a row below that for inserted audio. I'm out of college currently, and just bought Elements 9, as said, but am struggling with it. Could someone please tutor me to get me started? Perhaps even talk over the phone? I'm trying to combine different video and audio tracks into a new singular video/audio file.
